Summary Copper(II) complexes of 2-amino-4,6-lutidineN-oxide (4,6DMAH) have been isolated as tetrafluoroborate, nitrate, chloride and bromide salts, and characterized by spectral methods (i.e., i.r., u.v.-vis. and e.s.r.). Variation of the ligand-to-copper(II) ratio yielded solids having the following empirical formulae: [Cu(4,6DMAH)4]X2 (X=BF4), [Cu(4,6DMAH)2X2] (X=NO3, Cl) and [Cu(4,6DMAH)X2] (X=Br). In addition, a deprotonated ligand complex, Cu(4,6DMA)2, was prepared using copper(II) acetate. The Sigand usually binds to the copper(II) centresvia theN-oxide oxygen and only the deprotonated ligand coordinatesvia the exocyclic nitrogen as well as the TV-oxide oxygen. The complexes involving coordinated anions and at least two ligands are monomeric while Cu(4,6DMAH)Br2 is polymeric. The ring substituents affect either the stoichiometry or the stereochemistry of these solids when compared to less sterically demanding 2-aminopyridineN-oxides.  相似文献

Summary Platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes of 2-amino-4, 6-dimethylpyrimidine, ADMPY, have been prepared. Solids of formula Pt(ADMPYH+)Cl3, Pt(ADMPY)2Cl4 and Pt(ADMPY)2Cl4·2HCl have been isolated and characterized by elemental analyses in conjuction with i.r. and n.m.r. spectra. A paramagnetic tan to reddishbrown complex has been reproducibly prepared from the direct reaction of K2PtCl4 and ADMPY at pH 6.  相似文献

Summary Cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes of 4-amino-6-methyl-5-oxo-3-phenylamino-1,2,4-triazine (ATAZ), MX2(ATAZ)2 · 2 H2O (M = Co or Ni; X = Cl, Br, I or NCS), have been isolated. The electronic spectra, magnetic moments and i.r. spectra of the compounds have been studied.Pseudo-octahedral environments are proposed for the complexes: [MX2(ATAZ)2]. 2 H2O (M = Ni or Co; X = Cl or Br) and [CoI2(ATAZ)2(H2O)2], and apseudo-tetrahedral structure for [NiX2(ATAZ)2] · 2 H2O (X = I or NCS) and [Co(NCS)2-(ATAZ)2] · 2 H,O. However, [CoX2(ATAZ)2]. 2 H2O (X = Cl or Br) give acetone solutions containing tetrahedral cobalt(II).  相似文献

Summary Cobalt(II) and copper(II) halide, nitrate, thiocyanate and perchlorate complexes of 3-amino-5-methylisoxazole (3-AMI) have been prepared and characterized by means of magnetic, spectroscopic and molar conductivity measurements. In Cu(3-AMI)2X2 compounds (X = Cl, Br, N02) the 3-AMI ligand is bridging and bidentate [N (ring), O(bonded)]. In the other derivatives it is monodentate [N(ring) bonded]. All cobalt(II) complexes have an octahedral stereochemistry, if the Co(3-AMI)2X2 derivatives (X = Cl, Br), which are tetrahedral, are excluded. Copper(II) complexes have generally a distorted square pyramidal stereochemistry in the solid state and in solution.  相似文献

Cobalt(II) complexes with 2-aminoacetophenone thiosemicarbazone and three N(4)-substituted thiosemicarbazones have been prepared in EtOH solution and characterized by physical and spectral methods. I.r. and electronic spectra of the thiosemicarbazones and their complexes, along with physical properties of the complexes, have been obtained. The 2-aminoacetophenone thiosemicarbazones coordinate both as neutral and anionic ligands via the thiosemicarbazone moiety's imine nitrogen and thione/thiolato sulfur [on loss of the N(2) hydrogen].  相似文献

Cobalt(II) complexes of five 4-acetamidobenzaldehyde N(4)-substituted thiosemicarbazones have been prepared in EtOH solution and characterized by i.r., electronic and n.m.r. spectra, and by magnetic susceptibilities and molar conductivity measurements. The thiosemicarbazones coordinate as monoanionic or neutral ligands via the thiosemicarbazone azomethine nitrogen and thione/thiolato sulfur, the latter by loss of the thioamide hydrogen, N(2)H. Ten cobalt(II) nitrate complexes with variously substituted 2,6-diphenylpiperidin-4-ones (L1)–(L10) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight determination, molar conductance and magnetic, thermal, polarographic and spectral studies. The formula [Co(L)2(H2O)4](NO3)2 has been assigned to complexes (2–5), (7), (8) and (10) and [Co(L)2(H2O)2(NO3)]NO3 to complexes (1), (6) and (9). Although piperidin-4-ones have two coordinating sites, namely the ring nitrogen and the carbonyl group, i.r., and polarographic studies indicate that only the ring nitrogen is involved in coordination. Electronic spectral data reveal that these complexes have octahedral geometry.  相似文献

The coordination ability of 4-amino-4H-1,2,4-triazole with Pt(II), both in solution and solid states, is elucidated by conventional and linear-polarized IR spectroscopy of oriented colloid suspensions in nematic host, 1H- and 13C-NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, mass spectrometry (ESI and FAB), TGV, and DSC methods. The interpretation of the spectroscopic characteristics of corresponding metal complexes is obtained by comparison with free 4-amino-4H-1,2,4-triazole. In addition, quantum chemical calculations of the last compound are performed to obtain data for electronic structures and optical properties of the ligand, thus supporting the experimental elucidation. The evaluation of the cell viability on a panel of human tumor cell lines is made. The new Pt(II) complexes exerted cytotoxic effects in a concentration-dependent manner.  相似文献

Summary Metal(II) bis-chelates of the type ML2nB [M=CoII, NiII, and CuII, L=1-hydroxy-2-naphthyl(4-X-styryl)ketone, (X=H, Me, Cl, MeO), B=H2O, Py; n=0, 2] have been prepared and characterised by element analyses, i.r., ligand field spectra, magnetic moments and thermal studies. The copper(II) chelates are anhydrous monomers oftrans-square-planar configuration. The cobalt(II) and nickel(II) chelates, obtained as dihydrates, possess a high-spintrans-octahedral structure. Their anhydrides are polymeric. All the pyridine adducts have high-spintrans-octahedral geometry. The (M–O), order, namely Cu >Ni>Co, parallels the Irving-Williams order. The weak ligand field strength of 1-hydroxy-2-naphthyl(4-X-styryl)ketones is ascribed to inhibition of extensive conjugation arising from deviation of the naphthoyl group from planarity.  相似文献

Summary Cobalt(II) complexes of creatinine [Co(creat)2X2] (X = Cl, Br, I or NCS) and [Co(creat)2X2(H2O)2] (X = HCO2, HOCH2CO2 or CNCH2CO2) have been prepared. Their i.r. spectra show an increase in (NH) of the cyclic secondary amine group, compared to free ligand (3300 cm–1), indicating that cyclic nitrogen is involved in coordination. The thiocyanate group coordinates through nitrogen and carboxylates coordinate as univalent unidentate ligands. The electronic spectra and magnetic moments suggest a d7 configuration for cobalt: a tetrahedral geometry (4.4 B.M.) for halide and thiocyanate complexes, and an octahedral geometry (5.0 B.M.) for the carboxylate complexes. On heating, the ligand moiety is lost and the respective cobalt halide or cobalt carboxylate is formed, which is converted finally into Co3O4. There is a correlation between the high intensity electronic transitions and the polarographic half-wave potentials.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes of CoII, NiII and CuII with 4-(4-azidosulfophenylazo)-5-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrazol-3-oneHL1, 4-(4-azidosulfophenylazo)-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrazol-3-one HL2 and 4-(3-azidosulfo-6-methoxyphenylazo)-5-methyl-2-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrazol-3-one HL3 were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductances and magnetic susceptibilities and by i.r., electronic and e.s.r. spectral measurements as well as thermal (d.t.a and t.g.a.) analysis. The i.r. spectra indicate that HL acts as a bidentate ligand coordinating via the azo and enolic-oxygen linkages. The electronic spectral data and magnetic moments suggest a tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry for the complexes having the formula ML2·2H2O, (M = CoII, NiII and CuII), square pyramidal geometry for CuL 2 3 H2O and tetrahedral geometry for CoL 2 3 . The X-band e.s.r. spectra of the copper(II) complexes reveal anaxial symmetry for both CuL 2 2 2H2O and CuL 2 3 H2O while CuL 2 1 O is isotropic in the solid state at room temperature. The d.t.a. curves show two exothermic peaks for all three complexes CoL 2 3 ,NiL 2 3 2H2O and CuL 2 3 H2O and one endothermic peak for the latter two aqua complexes.  相似文献

Complexes of Co(II) with hydantoin (L, C3H4N2O2) have been synthesized. The complexes had the following compositions: [CoL2(OH2)2](NO3)2 · 2H2O, [CoL2(OH2)2]Cl2 · 3H2O, and [CoL2(OH2)2]SO4 · 2H2O. The individual character of the synthesized compounds are proved by the study of the IR absorption spectra (400–4000 cm?1) of all the compounds and the initial ligand, as well as the X-ray diffraction patterns, thermograms, and thermogravigrams of the synthesized compounds. The coordination modes of the ligand and acido groups are revealed. The properties of the synthesized compounds are characterized.  相似文献

[Ru(tBu2bpy)2(2-appt)](PF6)2 [1.(PF6)2, tBu2bpy = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine, 2-appt = 2-amino-4-phenylamino-6-(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine] and [Re(CO)3(2-appt)Cl] (2) were prepared and characterized by X-ray crystal analysis. The binding of 1.(PF6)2 and 2 to calf thymus DNA (ct DNA) led to increases in the DNA melting temperature (Delta Tm = +12 degrees C), modest hypochromism (29% and 5% of the absorption bands at lambda max = 450 and 376 nm, respectively), and insignificant shifts in the absorption maxima. The binding constants of 1.(PF6)2 and 2 with ct DNA, as determined by absorption titration, are (8.9 +/- 0.5) x 104 and (3.6 +/- 0.1) x 104 dm3 mol-1, respectively. UV-vis absorption titration, DNA melting studies, and competition dialysis using synthetic oligonucleotides [poly(dA-dT)2 and poly(dG-dC)2] revealed that 1.(PF6)2 and 2 exhibit a binding preference for AT sequences. A modeling study on the interaction between 1 or 2 and B-DNA revealed that the minor groove is the most favored binding site and an extensive hydrogen-bonding network is formed. As determined by MTT assays, 1.(PF6)2 and 2 exhibited moderate cytotoxicities toward several human cancer cell lines (KB-3-1, HepG2, and HeLa), as well as a multi-drug-resistant cancer cell line (KB-V-1). According to confocal microscopic and flow cytometric studies, 1.(PF6)2 and 2 induced apoptosis (50-60%) in cancer cells with <5% necrosis detected.  相似文献

The following Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) complexes of neutral and deprotonated 6-amino-1-methyl-5-nitroso-uracil (HL) were prepared and studied by u.v.-vis, 1H-NMR and i.r. techniques: ZnL2·4H2O,ZnL2(H2O)2·H2O, CdCl2(HL)2·2H2O and HgL2·2H2O. In Zn(II) and Hg(II) complexes, the ligand is coordinated in anionic nitroso-phenolic form, acting as a bidentate ligand through the nitrogen and oxygen atoms of the 5-nitroso and 6-oxide groups, respectively. In the cadmium complex, the ligand seems to be either N,O- or only N-bound to the metal ion, with chlorine bridging. From the data obtained, molecular structures are proposed for each complex.  相似文献

Summary CoL2X2 (X = Cl, Br or I) complexes were obtained by reacting cobalt(II) halides withN-methyl-,N-ethyl-,N,N-dimethyl- andN,N-diethyl-imidazolidine-2-selone. The same ligands with cobalt(II) tetrafluoroborate gave CoL4(BF4)2 complexes only with the disubstituted ligands. On the basis of i.r. and electronic spectra all the complexes are considered to be Se-bonded to the metal with a tetrahedral stereochemistry, as supported by magnetic measurements and colours. The ligand field parameters (Dq, B and ) for the [CoL4]2+ ion are evaluated by using the averaged ligand field approximation. The influence of the substituents on these parameters are discussed and compared with those obtained for the analogous complexes with the sulphur parent ligands.This work was partially supported by C.N.R. of Rome, Italy.  相似文献

Five new cobalt(II), nickel(II), and copper(II) complexes with Schiff bases have been synthesized. The Schiff bases have been prepared by the condensation of monopotassium 1-amino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-2,4-disulfonate with benzoin (L1) or 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde (L2). The compounds have been identified and studied by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry, measurements of magnetic susceptibility and electrical conductivity, and IR, ESR, and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The dimeric (with oxo bridges) structure of the Co(II) complex with L1 has been additionally confirmed by the EXAFS method.  相似文献

Summary The condensation of acetylacetone with ethylenediamine yields 7-amino-4-methyl-5-aza-3-heptene-2-one (AEH). This terdentate (N2O) Schiff base forms various types of ternary complexes, depending on the nature of the second ligand. Examples of five- and six-coordination have been previously reported. The present paper points to the possibility of preparing a less common type of complex,i.e. [MII(AE)Py]+ (M=Ni or Cu) in which the use of a monodentate ligand (pyridine) favours a square planar geometry.  相似文献

Reaction of 4-amino-2-fluoropyridine (2-F-4-AP) with copper halides produced the neutral coordination complexes: (2-F-4-AP)2CuX2 (X = Cl(1), Br(2)). 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pccn in a distorted square planar geometry. Magnetic susceptibility data were fit to the uniform chain Heisenberg model resulting in C = 0.439(6)emu-K/mole-Oe and J = ?28(1) K. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/m and is closer to distorted tetrahedral. Intermolecular Br?Cu contacts generate a square layer. Magnetic data show very weak ferromagnetic interactions [C = 0.42(1)emu-K/mol-Oe, J = 0.71(2) K]. Similarly, reaction of 2-F-4-AP with copper halides and aqueous HX in alcohol solvents produced the salts (2-F-4-APH)2CuX4 (X = Cl(3), Br(4)). 3 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1. Crystal packing reveals short Cl?Cl contacts which generate a structural ladder. However, analysis of the magnetic data suggests that only the rails of the ladder produce a viable magnetic superexchange pathway; the uniform Heisenberg chain model provides C = 0.449(1)emu-K/mol-Oe and J = -6.9(1) K. 4 is isostructural and is also best fit by a chain model [J = ?2.7(4) K]. The brominated complex (2-F-3-Br-4-APH)2CuBr4·2H2O, 5, (2-F-3-Br-4-APH = 4-amino-3-bromo-2-fluoropyridinium) was serendipitously produced as a byproduct of the synthesis of 4 and was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献
