Under neutral conditions, the electrocatalytic oxidation of sulphydryl compounds at rotating graphite electrodes modified with tetracyano-p-quinodimethane, tetrathiafulvalene and 1,1′-dimethylferrocene proceeds at potentials higher than ?0.1 V vs. SCE. The sensitivity of the electrodes depends on the nature of both the modifier and the sulphydryl compounds, and in 0.1 M potassium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7) it reaches 0.16 A 1 mol?1 cm?2. The electrode sensitivity is higher in a weakly alkaline medium. The sensitivity is only slightly dependent on the electrode rotation speed.  相似文献

The combination of immobilized enzymes and amperometry to build selective detection devices in flow-injection analysis and liquid chromatography is described. The pros and cons of enzyme electrodes and of immobilized enzyme reactors are discussed. The paper concentrates on the use of immobilized dehydrogenases, oxidases, peroxidases, and on electrodes on which these enzyme reactions can be selectively followed. Amperometic flow measurements were made at +0.55 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in 0.1 mol l−1 KOH electrolyte with an Ni(II) chemically modified electrode (CME) with an Eastman-AQ polymer film. The use and characteristics of a Ni(II)-containing crystalline and polymer-modified electrode obtained by a double coating step as a detector for amino acids in a flow-injection system using reversed-phase liquid chromatography are described. The detection of these analytes is based on the higher oxidation state of nickel (NiOOH) controlled by the applied potential. The electroanalytical parameters and the detection current for a series of amines and amino acids were investigated. The use of such a CME in the flow-injection technique was found to be suitable in a solution at low pH. The linear range for glycine is 5 × 10−6-0.1 mol l−1 with a detection limit of 1.0×10−6 mol l−1. A 1 × 10−4 mol l−1 mixture of serine and tyrosine was also detected after separation on an Nucleosil C18 column.  相似文献

Constant-potential amperometric detection of carbohydrates, amino acids, and other aliphatic organic compounds is possible by means of their oxidation in alkaline solution at a variety of metal/metal oxide electrodes including Pt, Au, Cu, Ni, Ag and Co. The experimental conditions required for optimum detection and the analytical performance obtainable vary widely for different electrode materials and analytes. In this work, the cyclic voltammetric behavior exhibited by selected analytes (glucose, glycine, lactic acid, ethylamine and ethanol) at each of these electrodes was used to determine the optimum potentials suitable for flow detection so that the capabilities of the different metal electrodes could be evaluated and systematically compared. In general, the Cu electrode was found to provide superior detection capabilities in terms of its range of response, detection limits and especially stability. Despite the fact that Pt and Au are typically used only with a pulsed applied potential, both can provide long-lived constant-potential detection of carbohydrates and other analytes at low concentrations if the potentials ere carefully chosen and the electrodes are allowed to undergo an initial stabilization period.  相似文献

In a preliminary study aimed at developing strategies for the simultaneous detection of various biologically important molecules, a procedure is described that allows the electrochemical detection of nitric oxide (NO) released by a population of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) by using an array of electrodes comprising three individually addressable electrodes. Each electrode in the array was modified with a different NO-sensitive electrocatalyst, thereby demonstrating the possibility of modifying the individual electrodes in an array with different sensing chemistries. This study opens a doorway to the development of arrays of electrodes for the simultaneous detection of multiple analytes in a complex environment by suitably tailoring the sensitivity and selectivity of each electrode in the array to a specific analyte in the test medium.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of nicotinamide was studied at a carbon paste electrode and the electrodes modified with macrocyclic compounds using voltammetric and impedance measurements. The electrodes so formed were able to bind nicotinamide ions chemically and gave better voltammetric responses than the unmodified ones. The macrocycles used as modifiers for the electrode preparation were 18-crown-6, dicyclohexano-18-crown-6, dibenzo-18-crown-6, 7,16-dibenzyl-1,4,10,13-tetraoxa-7,16-diazacyclooctadecane, 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexathiacyclooctadecane (Hexathia), 1,4,7,10-tetratosyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclooctadecane, c-Methylcalix[4]resorcenarene and calix[8]arene. Among these macrocyclic modified electrodes, hexathia showed more affinity towards nicotinamide and a 2.3-fold increase in voltammetric signal was obtained. Impedance measurement was used to confirm this enhancement observed on modified electrode. This increase in anodic peak current was then used for finding linear working range, which was 0.1–500 μg mL−1 with a detection limit of 0.03 μg mL−1 by DPV. Interference from other vitamins like thiamine HCl (Vit. B1), riboflavin (Vit. B2), pyridoxine HCl (Vit. B6) cynocobamine (Vit. B12), para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) and ascorbic acid (Vit. C) was also studied. The modified electrode could be used for the simultaneous determination of riboflavin, nicotinamide and pyridoxine HCl. It has also been utilized for the analysis of nicotinamide in pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

Self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) of 4‐aminothiophenol (4‐ATP) has been successfully deposited onto nanometer‐sized gold (Au) electrodes. The cyclic voltammograms obtained on a 4‐ATP SAMs modified electrode show peaks and the peak height is proportional to the scan rate, which is similar to that on an electroactive SAMs modified macro electrode. The electrochemical behavior and mechanism of outer‐sphere electron transfer reaction on the 4‐ATP SAMs modified nanometer‐sized electrode has also been studied. The 4‐ATP SAMs modified electrode is further modified with platinum (Pt) nanoparticles. Electrochemical behaviors show that there is electrical communication between Pt nanoparticles and Au metal on the Pt nanoparticles/4‐ATP SAMs/Au electrode. However, scanning electron microscopic image shows that the Pt nanoparticles are not evenly covered the electrode.  相似文献

A multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNT) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was described for the simultaneous determination of trace levels of cadmium and lead by anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV). In pH 4.5 NaAc-HAc buffer containing 0.02 mol/l KI, Cd2+ and Pb2+ first adsorb onto the surface of a MWNT film coated GCE and then reduce at −1.20 V. During the positive potential sweep, reduced cadmium and lead were oxidized, and two well-defined stripping peaks appeared at −0.88 and −0.62 V. Compared with a bare GCE, a MWNT film coated GCE greatly improves the sensitivity of determining cadmium and lead. Low concentration of I significantly enhances the stripping peak currents since it induces Cd2+ and Pb2+ to adsorb at the electrode surface. The striping peak currents change linearly with the concentration of Cd2+ from 2.5×10−8 to 1×10−5 mol/l and with that of Pb2+ from 2×10−8 to 1×10−5 mol/l. The lowest detectable concentrations of Cd2+ and Pb2+ are estimated to be 6×10−9 and 4×10−9 mol/l, respectively. The high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability of this MWNT film coated electrode demonstrated its practical application for a simple, rapid and economical determination of trace levels of Cd2+ and Pb2+ in water samples.  相似文献

The effect of Ce(III) on the morphology and structure of lead dioxide (PbO2) modified electrode was studied in this paper. The results obtained by cyclic voltammetry (CV), X-ray diffractometion (XRD) and scanning tunneling micrograph (STM) indicated that the Ce-doped PbO2 film consisted of a mixture of α- and β-PbO2 crystallographic phases and the content of α-phase was higher than that in undoped PbO2 film. PbO2 crystal grains in nanometric size were formed on the electrode surface by doping with Ce. So that the specific surface areas and catalytic active sites of the modified electrode were increased. Hence the catalytic activity of the Ce-PbO2 modified electrode was evidently greater than the undoped PbO2 modified electrode. When the Ce-PbO2 modified electrode was applied as an analytical sensor to determine aniline compounds, the linearity was in the range of 5×10−5 to 1×10−3 mol/l and the detection limit was 1×10−5 mol/l.  相似文献

Conductive carbon cement (CCC) was evaluated as matrix material for the preparation of electrodes bulk-modified with electrocatalysts. For pure CCC electrodes the background current characteristics were examined. In acidic or neutral phosphate buffers the useful electrode potential range was from −0.3 to + 1.0 V vs. SCE, while in 0.1 mol 1−1 NaOH it was from −0.3 to + 0.7 V. The electrochemical reversibility of CCC electrodes was examined by measuring the standard rate constants for the reduction of hexacyanoferrate (III) and the oxidation of hydroquinone, using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotating disk experiments. The reversibility of a CCC electrode was comparable with that of a freshly polished glassy carbon electrode and better than that of carbon paste electrodes. CCC was used as matrix for the preparation of electrodes bulk-modified with cuprous oxide and cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPC). With a Cu2O-CCC electrode the oxidation potential of glucose, which shows sluggish kinetics at unmodified carbon electrodes, was strongly reduced. The kinetics of the mediated glucose oxidation has been studied with a rotating disk electrode. It was shown that at glucose concentrations higher than approximately 1 mmol l−1 the electrochemical regeneration of the catalyst becomes rate-determining. The Cu2O-CCC modified electrode has been applied with a constant potential in flow-injection analysis for the determination of glucose. The long-term stability of the electrode was studied; repeated injections of a glucose solution during a period of 6 h yielded a relative standard deviation of the peak height of 1.8% (n = 57). In CV experiments the electrocatalytic activity of CoPC was shown for the oxidation of various compounds such as penicillamine, hydrazine and bile acids. Application of the CoPC-CCC electrode for the detection of bile acids in flow-through detection with a constant or pulsed potential failed, due to a rapid deactivation of the electrode.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviour of pyridoxine hydrochloride (pyridoxine HCl) at the plain carbon paste electrode and the electrode modified with oxa crown ether has been studied using voltammetric and impedance measurements. The macrocycles used as modifiers were 18-crown-6, dibenzo-18-crown-6 (DB18C6), dicyclohexano-18-crown-6 and dibenzo-24-crown-8, out of which DB18C6 gave better response for pyridoxine HCl. Tris buffer (pH 10.3) was chosen as an appropriate medium among the several supporting electrolytes of varying pH studied. The characterization of the DB18C6-modified electrode (CME-DB18C6) using kinetic parameters such as number of electrons (n) and electron transfer coefficient (α) is studied by cyclic voltammetry. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopic measurements obtained confirm the current enhancement over the modified electrode. Analytical applications of this electrode have been studied for the determination of pyridoxine HCl. A sensitive linear working range of 0.6 to 100 μg cm−3 with a detection limit of 0.4 μg cm−3 by differential pulse voltammetry was observed for pyridoxine HCl on CME-DB18C6. However, on decreasing the scan rate to 5 mV s−1, the detection limit lowered to 0.2 μg cm−3. Interference from some vitamins like thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, nicotinamide, para-aminobenzoic acid, cyanocobalamin, folic acid and d-biotin and amino acid l-tryptophan was studied, and simultaneously, riboflavin, thiamine hydrochloride and pyridoxine HCl were determined over the modified electrode, CME-DB18C6. The modified electrode is successfully used for the determination of pyridoxine HCl in multivitamin pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

Summary Wall-coated open tubular columns prepared from chemically modified teflon tubing have been developed for gas chromatography. Chemical reaction of the inner walls of teflon tubing allows bonding of an adhesive layer on which a variety of stationary phaes can be coated. Test mixtures of alkanes and alcohols were used to investigate the chromatographic properties of these columns and the stability and mixing of the adhesive and stationary phae layers. the results in dicate that mixing of the layers is negligible and that the column is stable for a long period of time.Principle author  相似文献

Glassy carbon electrodes modified with (5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline)bis(bipyridine)ruthium(II) chloride hydrate, [(bpy)2Ru(5-phenNH2)]Cl2·H2O, are shown to oxidize hydrazine with excellent sensitivity. The presence of an amine group on the ruthenium complex facilitates electropolymerization onto the electrode surface. Using cyclic voltammetry, a large catalytic current is observed upon oxidation of hydrazine in phosphate buffer (pH 5.0), compared to the current obtained from the ruthenium-modified electrode with no hydrazine present. The sensitivity of cyclic voltammetry is sufficient for obtaining a linear calibration curve for hydrazine over the range of 10−5 to 10−2 M. Hydrodynamic amperometry was used to determine the working potential for flow injection analysis. The limit of detection for hydrazine was determined to be 8.5 μM using FIA. The thickness of these films was shown to increase linearly with the number of electropolymerization cycles, in the range of 1000-2500 nm for 5-20 cycles, respectively, using Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS). RBS analysis also suggests that the film is multilayered with the outermost layers containing a high ruthenium concentration, followed by layers where the concentration of ruthenium decreases linearly and approaches zero at the electrode surface.  相似文献

研究了咖啡酸修饰玻碳电极的制备及其电化学性质,测定了电极反应的动力学常数。实验结果表明,在pH7.0的磷酸盐缓冲溶液中,多巴胺(DA)在该修饰电极上产生一灵敏的氧化峰,峰电流与DA浓度在5.0×10-6~1.0×10-4mol/L范围内良好线性关系,检出限为9.0×10-7mol/L。该修饰膜对DA有增敏作用,可望用于DA的测定。  相似文献

利用循环伏安法制备了聚L-半胱氨酸修饰电极,研究了肾上腺素在该修饰电极上的电化学行为。在pH 7.0磷酸盐缓冲溶液中,肾上腺素氧化峰电流与其浓度在6.0×10-7~1.0×10-4mol/L范围内呈良好的线性关系,检出限(信噪比=3)为8.6×10-8mol/L。实验结果表明该电极具有良好的重现性、稳定性,已用于注射液中肾上腺素的检测。  相似文献

在玻碳电极(GCE)表面上修饰了一层导电聚合物 聚吡咯(Ppy)薄膜,用循环伏安法制备了新型的基于电流响应的掺杂碘离子的聚吡咯修饰电极;研究了电极的电化学特性。此修饰电极对碘离子的响应是基于碘离子在Ppy膜与电解质溶液中的掺杂平衡以及Ppy膜中的碘离子在修饰电极表面的氧化还原过程;制成的电流型电极对5 0×10-2mol/L~1 0×10-5mol/L的碘离子呈良好的线性响应关系,检出限为6 0×10-6mol/L。  相似文献

用循环伏安法制备了聚L-丝氨酸修饰玻碳电极,研究了去甲肾上腺素在聚L-丝氨酸修饰玻碳电极上的电化学行为,建立了测定去甲肾上腺素的新方法。实验结果表明:在pH 6.0的磷酸盐缓冲溶液中,聚L-丝氨酸薄膜对去甲肾上腺素的电化学氧化具有明显的催化作用,利用循环伏安法测定其还原峰电流可排除抗坏血酸干扰。去甲肾上腺素检测线性范围为4.0×10-7~1.5×10-4mol/L;检出限为1.0×10-8mol/L。该修饰电极具有良好的灵敏度、选择性和稳定性,已用于针剂样品分析。  相似文献

A method is described for the determination of estrogens (estradiol, estrone and estriol) by stripping voltammetry. These estrogens yield one well-defined oxidation peak at the Nafion-modified glassy carbon electrode in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The peak current is proportional to the concentration of estradiol in the range from 2.5×10−8 to 1.5×10−6 mol/l, and the detection limit is 1×10−9 mol/l after accumulation of 6 min. The total amounts of estrogens in the blood serums were determined using the voltammetric method, and the average recovery was 106.04%. The mechanism of the oxidation of estradiol was investigated by electrochemical techniques and UV spectra.  相似文献

为了得到性能好的修饰电极,尝试使用不同的杯芳烃制作LB膜修饰电极,研究了不同空腔大小的和不同上缘取代基的杯芳烃LB膜成膜情况,发现对叔丁基杯芳烃和对烯丙基杯[4]芳烃都可以得到稳定的LB膜,杯环大小可以影响成膜的平均分子占有面积。不同取代基的杯芳烃识别金属铊离子的性能不同,叔丁基基本没有特别的响应,烯丙基有较好的响应,这应归因于电极表面烯丙基对铊离子的吸附或络合作用。  相似文献
