Although poly(p-phenylenediamine) is an electric non-conductor, it exhibits, analogously to conducting polymers, redox activity and could, therefore, find applications in biomedicine. In the current work, the cytotoxicity of poly(p-phenylenediamine) polymer powder produced by the chemical oxidation of p-phenylenediamine with ammonium peroxydisulfate in acidic aqueous media has been studied. Primary mouse embryonic fibroblasts were used for this purpose. Interestingly, the standard methods for the determination of polymer cytotoxicity based on international standard EN ISO 10993-5 could not be applied. The reason was the interaction of polymer extracts with MTT [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide] assay. On the basis of the evaluation of flow cytometry and micrographs taken by fluorescence microscopy on cells treated with extracts of poly(p-phenylenediamine), it can be concluded that the powder polymer possesses severe cytotoxicity. The results suggest that practical application of the polymer within biomedicine is, at the current state of knowledge, difficult, and modification of the preparation techniques and/or subsequent purification of poly(p-phenylenediamine) is needed.  相似文献

The crystal structures of general composition nBi2O3-mB2O3 were analyzed and systematized with the use of the structures of borate groups. Based on the CNs calculated by the bond valence method, the shapes of bismuth coordination polyhedra derived from an octahedron were suggested. A correlation was found between the number of BO3 triangles and BO4 tetrahedra in borate groups, the average CN of Bi atoms, and the degree of distortion of Bi polyhedra as a function of the m: n ratio, as well as between the polarity of BO4 tetrahedra and noncentrosymmetry of the structures. The role of Bi3+ with the active E pair in the manifestation of specific features of the forms of bismuth polyhedra and the types of connection of boron polyhedra was elucidated.  相似文献

By means of the ab initio DMol3 method Mo n Si m nanoparticles and fragments of Mo3Si and MoSi2 crystal lattices are theoretically modeled. For both crystals a few neutral Mo4Si6 and Mo6Si6 fragments of different shapes and symmetry are considered. In each case, after cluster separation its geometry is optimized, as a result of which the geometric structure noticeably changes and its stability increases. In order to theoretically search for the spatial configurations of Mo4Si6 and Mo6Si6 nanoparticle, two approaches are used: 1) in the most stable Fe4C6 and Fe6C6 isomers found previously, iron and carbon atoms are replaced by molybdenum and silicon respectively and then the geometry is optimized to obtain new equilibrium distances and angles; 2) the search for main Mo4Si6 and Mo6Si6 configurations is performed using the binominal scheme, starting from Mo2, MoSi, and Si2 dimers. The nanoparticle structures are found to contain metal atom chains and isolated pairs and triples of silicon atoms. In most cases, the nanoparticle stability proves to be higher than that of the crystal clusters.  相似文献

A new series of copolymers of poly(m-toluidine-co-m-aminoacetophenone) were synthesized by the chemical oxidative method in acid medium. The copolymers were characterized by UV–Vis and FTIR spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the partial crystalline nature of copolymer. The morphological study by SEM analysis indicated that the surface of the copolymer had the granular structure of agglomerated morphology with average particle size of 200 nm. The conductivity of the copolymers ranged from 2 × 10–4 to 3.3 × 10–8 S/cm and the conductivity decreased with the increase of comonomer concentration. The resultant copolymers showed an enhanced solubility and an improved processability when compared with pure polyaniline.  相似文献

A novel bimetallic Cr3Yb3 coordination compound containing a 3d-4f heterometallic Cr2Yb3 cationic cluster has been synthesized and structurally characterized. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray analysis. Results denote that the complex consists of an original [Cr 2 III Yb 3 III ]3+ moiety with a trigonal-bipyramidal topology of the [Cr2Yb3(μ-OOCCH3)6(μ-OH)6(H2O)6]3+ core, an isolated [CrIII(CN)6]3? anion, and four molecular neutral 4,4′-bipyridene (Bipy) ligands, namely, [Cr2Yb3(μ-OOCCH3)6(μ-OH)6(H2O)6][Cr(CN)6] · 4Bipy · 13H2O.  相似文献

Conformers of the biologically active compounds CH3P(O)(OR)(SCH2CH2NR 2 ), where (I) R = i-C4H9, R′ = C2H5 and (II) R = C2H5, R′ = i-C3H7, are calculated within the AM1 level of theory. The elongated and twisted forms with maximum and minimum distances between a nitrogen atom and those of a phosphorus tetrahedron, respectively, and bearing a syn and anti oriented alkoxy group relative to a phosphoryl oxygen, are studied. It is found that the differences between the energy, electronic, and geometric parameters of these forms are apparent in differences between their properties, e.g., the ability to participate in complexation and protonation, reactions that to some extent simulate the interaction between a substance and a biological object.  相似文献

O,O-Dialkyl S-(1,1-dimethyl-2-oxoethyl) dithiophosphates, 2-(dialkoxythiophosphorylthio)-substituted aldehydes with branched carbon groups, were obtained by hydrolysis of phosphoryl-containing iminium salts. The reaction with primary amines results in imines containing acetal group in different positions. A method has been developed for the determination of the structure and number of atoms in the shells of nanoparticles as a function of the arrangement of atoms at the symmetry elements of a symmetry group. The formulas for calculation of the number of particles of symmetry D 3d have been reported. It has been shown that the number of atoms in trigonal shells is determined by three structurally invariant numbers and the quantum number of the group order n. All possible nanostructures of symmetry D 3d have been classified: Cθ + 6z , z = 0, 1, 2, ..., where the basic shells are Cθ = C6, C8, and C14. A sum rule has been obtained for the coordination numbers of the shell sites located on symmetry axes. Trigonal nanoparticles are parent ones for obtaining (3,0), (6,0), and (9,0) nanotubes of trigonal type. The general formulas of these nanotubes with icosahedral, dodecahedral, and cubic caps are N8 + 12p , N20 + 24p , and N60 + 36p (p = 1, 2, ...), respectively. The graphical constructions of all classes of trigonal nanoparticles and nanotubes are reported.  相似文献

The activity of supported nickel catalysts (5–20% Ni) in the hydrogenation of p-dinitrobenzene to p-phenylenediamine was investigated. The catalysts were obtained by ureainduced precipitation. Activated carbon, alumina, titania, and silica gel were evaluated as supports. The most active catalysts, 5%Ni/TiO2 and 20%Ni/SiO2, provided 50–54% yields of p-phenylenediamine at complete dinitrobenzene conversion.  相似文献

Density functional calculations are performed to study the structures and electronic properties of Al n Co m clusters with n = 1–7 and m = 1–2. Frequency analysis is also performed after structural optimization to make sure that the calculated ground states are real minima. The corresponding total and binding energies, adiabatic electron affinities and ionization potentials are presented and discussed to aid the identification of our calculations. The BSSE correction is also considered in our calculation. Among Al n Co m , Al n Co m , and Al n Co m = clusters (n = 1–7 and m = 1–2), Al4Co, Al6Co, Al2Co2, and Al6Co2 are predicted to be more stable. Our results are consistent with the available experimental data.  相似文献

Dynamics of excited m-dichlorobenzene is investigated in real time by femtosecond pump-probe method, combined with time-of-flight mass spectrometric detection in a supersonic molecular beam. The yields of the parent ion and daughter ion C6H4Cl+ are examined as a function of the delay between the 270 and 810 nm femtosecond laser pulses, respectively. The lifetime of the first singlet excited state S1 of m-dichlorobenzene is measured. The origin of this daughter ion C6H4Cl+ is discussed. The ladder mechanism is proposed to form the fragment ion. In addition, our experimental results exhibit a rapid damped sinusoidal oscillation over intermediate time delays, which is due to quantum beat effects.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of tris(m-chlorophenyl)phosphine selenide, C18H12Cl3PSe (I), was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The trigonal rhombohedral structure of I (space group \(R\overline 3 c\), a = 14.110(2) Å, c = 32.360(4) Å, Z = 12) was solved by direct methods and refined by least squares in an anisotropic approximation (R = 0.029) for 1319 averaged measured reflections (CAD-4 automatic diffractometer, λCuKα).  相似文献

N-Chloroacetylcytisine was synthesized by acylation of (–)-cytisine. Stable Z- and E-conformers with respect to rotational isomerism around the N-12–CO bond were found in PMR spectra at room temperature. The point at which PMR resonances of the Z- and E-conformers coalesced upon heating was measured. The transition barrier between the conformers was estimated.  相似文献
