Zn(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Co(Ⅱ) compounds(1~3) based on 2-(2-pyridyl)benzothiazole(bpt) and terephthalic acid(PTA) were synthesized. The crystal structures of [Zn(bpt)(PTA)2](1), [Ni(bpt)(PTA)2](2), and [Co(bpt)(PTA)2](3) have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, which shows that all the three complexes belong to monoclinic system with space group P21/c. Time-dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) calculation is performed on a reference structure of compound 3. The excited electrons mainly localized at the π* of ligand 2-(2-pyridyl)benzothiazole, which will be convenient for them to bind with the DNA reacting sites. Fluorescence spectroscopy, ultraviolet(UV) spectroscopy and viscosity were used to characterize the interaction of the compounds with Calf thymus DNA(CT-DNA). The results indicate that compounds 1~3 bind to CT-DNA and have a strong interaction with DNA. The compounds can probably bind to CT-DNA via a non-intercalative mode as concluded by studying the viscosity of a DNA solution in the presence of the compounds. This combination can effectively break DNA, which speculates that these three compounds may interact with the cancer cell DNA in this binding mode, thereby damaging the cancer cells.  相似文献

Cd(Ⅱ), Co(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) complexes(1~4) based on 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole(pbm) and 4,4'-oxybisbenzoic acid(H2odc) were synthesized. The formulas of these complexes are [Cd(pbm)(odc)2](1), [Co(pbm)(odc)2](2), [Cu(pbm)(odc)2](3) and [Zn(pbm)(odc)2](4) confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, which shows that complexes 1, 2 and 4 belong to monoclinic system with space group P21/n, while complex 3 belongs to monoclinic system with space group P21/c. The binding properties of complexes 1~4 with CT-DNA are evaluated by ultraviolet spectrum, fluorescence spectra and viscosity measurements. The results indicate that complexes 1~4 have strong interaction with CT-DNA binding. These complexes exhibit an electrostatic or groove mode in respect of binding with DNA, which can effectively destroy DNA. And this binding mode may be applied to the interaction between the complexes and cancer cell DNA. Therefore, we hope to provide a theoretical and scientific basis for the research of anti-cancer drugs.  相似文献

The synthesis of 4′-(2-methylphenyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine (L) has been improved. The coordination chemistry of the ligand was explored using Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Ag(I) ions. X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectrometry were used to characterize the 13 new compounds that have been synthesized. Under different reaction conditions, Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) produced discrete complexes, sometimes containing more than one metal ion, while Ag(I) furnished a polymeric spiral complex in which the central pyridine nitrogen of each terpyridine ligand bridges two Ag(I) ions. Crystallographically characterized complexes are [Ni(L)2]Cl2, [Ni2Cl4(L)2], [Ni(L)(OH2)3]Cl2, [Ni(L)2]Br2, [Cu(L)(OH2)(OSO3)], [Cu3Cl6(L)2], [Cu(L)(OH)(OH2)2]PF6, [Cu(L)2](OTf)2, [Cu(L)(OAc)2], [Zn(L)(OAc)2], [Zn(L)Cl2], [Zn(L)2](NO3)2, [{Ag2(μ-L)2(μ-NO3)}n](NO3)n.  相似文献

The reactions of complex formation of Cu(II), Co(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), and Cd(II) acetates with 3,3′,4,4′5,5′-hexamethyl-2,2′-dipyrrolylmethene (HL) in DMF were studied by the electronic spectroscopy and calorimetric titration methods at 298.15 K. The main products of the above reactions are [ML2] chelates. In the case of Cu and Ni salts, the process occurs through the spectrally recorded stage of formation of the heteroligand [ML(AcO)] complexes. The reaction with Cd acetate terminates at the stage of the heteroligand complex formation due to the large radius and decreasing electron affinity of the Cd2+ ion. The effect of the metal nature appears in the increasing thermodynamic stability of single-type complexes in the series [ML2]: Ni(II) < Zn(II) < Co(II) < Cu(II) and [ML(AcO)]: Cd(II) < Ni(II) < Cu(II).  相似文献

The synthesis of complexes of the general form M(dmdp)Cl2, where dmdp is 6, 6′-dimethyl-2, 2′-dipyridyl and M is Pd(II), Pt(II), Cu(II), Co(II) and Zn(II) from non-aqueous solvents is reported. Also presented is a new convenient synthesis of dmdp. The characteristics of these complexes to produce nicks in the phosphodiester backbone of DNA are evaluated.  相似文献

Complexes of 4′-(4′″-benzo-15-crown-5)methyloxy-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine (L) with metal perchlorates and hexafluorophosphates, [ML2](ClO4)2 · nH2O and [ML2](PF6)2 · nH2O · mC2H5OH (M = Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II), Cu(II); n = 0–3; m = 0–2), were synthesized. Their vibrational spectra were studied. The spectral criteria for ligand coordination through the terpyridinic nitrogen atoms were established. The conformational structure of the B15C5 macrocycles of a ligand molecule in the synthesized complexes was proposed. The complexes were studied by thermogravimetry.  相似文献

Complexes [ML2] of cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), zinc(II), and cadmium(II) with asymmetrically substituted (E)-3-ethyl-5-[(4-iodo-3,5-dimethyl-2H-pyrrol-2-ylidene)methyl]-2,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole (HL) have been prepared and characterized for the first time. The spectral properties, stability in solutions and in the solid phase at elevated temperature of the complexes have been studied. The effects of complexing metal ion and the reaction medium on the spectral luminescent properties (absorptivity, quantum yield, fluorescence lifetime, and the radiation constant) and on thermal destruction of the [ML2] complexes have been discussed.  相似文献

Complex 1 crystallizes in triclinic,space group P1,a=5.581(4),b=12.071(8),c=12.88(1),α=92.10(3),β=96.73(3),γ =102.02(2)°,C17H10N4O7Cd,Mr=494.69,V=841(1)3,Z=2,Dc=1.954 g/cm3,F(000)=488,μ =1.353 mm-1,R=0.0248 and wR=0.0761. Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic with space group P21/c,a=8.604(3),b=23.88(1),c=8.894(3),β=102.45(1)°,C17H10N4O7Mn,Mr=437.23,V= 1785(1) 3,Z=4,Dc=1.627 g/cm3,F(000)=884,μ=0.791 mm-1,R=0.0471 and wR=0.1250. Complex 1 possesses an infinite 1D polymeric chain structure consisting of the repeated basic four-membered ring units (Cd2O2) and eight-membered ring units (CdOCO)2. Compound 2 displays a linear 1D chain through Mn(Ⅱ) atoms and bridging carboxylate groups of 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid ligands with the Mn…Mn separation of 4.472(2). Based on a 3-(pyridine-2-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligand(Hpytr), one 2D Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymer [Cd I(pytr)]_n(1) and one 2D Mn(Ⅱ) coordination polymer [Mn(N_3)(pytr)(H_2O)]_n(2) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, and fluorescence spectroscopy. 1 shows a layer coordination architecture linked by pytr ligand, and the Cd(Ⅱ) centers display slightly distorted square pyramid coordination geometries. Complex 2 shows a 2D pillared-layer coordination architecture bridged by N3-and pytr, and the Mn(Ⅱ) centers display slightly distorted octahedral geometries. The luminescent properties of 1 and the PXRD and thermal stability of complexes 1 and 2 were measured briefly.  相似文献

Two new 1-naphthoate-based Pb(Ⅱ) complexes, [Pb(phen)(NA)2]n 1 and [Pb(bpp)(NA)2]n 2 (NA = 1-naphthoate, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, and bpp = 1,3-bi(4-pyri- dyl)propane), were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 is of monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 28.114(3), b = 10.9601(10), c = 8.6843(8) , β = 93.3760(10)°, V = 2671.3(4) 3, Dc = 1.814 g/cm3, Mr = 729.73, Z = 4, F(000) = 1416, μ = 6.360 mm-1, the final R = 0.0346 and wR = 0.0948 for 2184 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 26.491(2), b = 8.7773(6), c = 27.893(2) , β = 113.3020(10)°, V = 5956.8(8)3, Dc = 1.668 g/cm3, Mr = 747.78, Z = 8, F(000) = 2928, μ = 5.706 mm-1, the final R = 0.0211 and wR = 0.0493 for 3677 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). Both complexes present one-dimensional (1-D) zigzag chains extended by anionic NA linkers for 1 and bridged by neutral bpp connectors for 2, which are further aggregated into 2-D supramolecular networks by interchain π···π stacking interactions. In addition, the two solid-state complexes exhibit different strong emissions at room temperature, suggesting their potential applications as fluorescence materials.  相似文献

A novel donor-acceptor(D-A) triphenylamino terpyridine derivative L was facilely synthesized and fully characterized, and its single crystals were obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1 with a = 11.760(5), b =12.516(5), c = 12.850(5) , α = 67.141(5), β = 65.284(5), γ = 75.876(5)o, Mr = 621.54, V = 1575.6(11) 3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.310 g/cm3, μ = 0.245 mm-1, F(000) = 648, the final R = 0.0671 and w R = 0.1869 for 11328 observed reflections with Ⅰ 2σ(Ⅰ). Linear and nonlinear optical properties of terpyridine derivative L were systematically investigated. The maximum two-photon cross-section of L was 382.5 GM(Goeppert-Mayer), measured by two-photon excited fluorescence(TPEF) method. This result demonstrates that the increase of intramolecular charge transfer(ICT) leads to enhanced two-photon absorption(2PA), which could be achieved by introducing additional electron-donor groups to the molecular framework.  相似文献

Complexes of uranyl nitrate with aromatic molecular ligands : [UO2Terpy(NO3)2] and (H2Terpy)2[UO2(NO3)2(H2O)2](NO3)4 · 4H2O (Terpy 2,2:6,2-terpyridine), (Hbipy)[UO2(NO3)3] and [(UO2)2(Bipy)2O2(NO3)2] (Bipy—2,2-bipyridyl) and (HPy)4[(UO2)2(NO3)4(OH)2](NO3)2 (Py—pyridine) were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. In all these compounds, the U(VI) atom has the hexagonal bipyramidal environment. The U–O bond lengths in the UO2 2+ have close values. In the equatorial planes, the U–N bond lengths with the Bipy and Terpy ligands are identical, whereas the U–O bond lengths depend on the type of the ligand. The lengths of the equatorial bonds increase in the sequence U–N > U–Onitr > U–Ohydr > U–Operox. The geometric characteristics of the coordinated and solvate Terpy and Bipy molecules are different. The lengths of the N–O bonds in the NO3 groups depend on the participation of the O atom in the coordination of the central atom, the coordination mode, and the formation of hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Benzyl(4-methoxyphenyl)dithiophosphinic acid (HL) was obtained as solid and was treated with the NiCl26H2O, CoCl26H2O, ZnCl2, and CdCl2 to prepare its Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) complexes. The nickel complex was further treated with pyridine which led to the formation of octahedral dipyridine derivative. HL was obtained through the addition reaction of the perthiophosphonic acid anhydride Lawesson reagent, (LR), [2,4-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphetane-2,4-disulfide], with the corresponding Grignard compound (benzylmagnesium bromide) in diethyl ether medium.

The complexes were all of the stoichiometry of [M(L)2]x, with x = 1 for M = Ni2+ and x = 2 for M = Co2+, Cd2+ and Zn2+. The coordination geometry was square planar in the nickel(II) complex and tetrahedral in the others. Similar to many other nickel(II) complexes, the Ni(L)2 reacts reversibly with pyridine to yield the octahedral complex ({(Py)2Ni(L)2}).

The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis; MS, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopies. The magnetic susceptibilities of the complexes were measured to confirm the hybridization patterns and the geometries. Single-crystal X-ray analyses of Ni(L)2 and [Co(L)2]2 complexes were also carried out to prove the molecular topologies.  相似文献
