In this paper linear stochastic integral evolution equations are studied. They are associated with formal stochastic partial differential equations as well as stochastic delay differential equations. The existence and uniqueness of a solution is established for systems with disturbances depending on the state, both current and past, using semigroups or more generally evolution operators and known properties of such operators.  相似文献

This paper considers scattering theory for a pair of time dependent nonlinear evolution equations. Sufficient conditions are given for the existence of the forward wave operators. An approximation theory for the forward wave operators is also developed.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the notion of semigroups of locally Lipschitz operators which provide us with mild solutions to the Cauchy problem for semilinear evolution equations, and characterize such semigroups of locally Lipschitz operators. This notion of the semigroups is derived from the well-posedness concept of the initial-boundary value problem for differential equations whose solution operators are not quasi-contractive even in a local sense but locally Lipschitz continuous with respect to their initial data. The result obtained is applied to the initial-boundary value problem for the complex Ginzburg–Landau equation.  相似文献

In this paper we design higher-order time integrators for systems of stiff ordinary differential equations. We combine implicit Runge–Kutta and BDF methods with iterative operator-splitting methods to obtain higher-order methods. The idea of decoupling each complicated operator in simpler operators with an adapted time scale allows to solve the problems more efficiently. We compare our new methods with the higher-order fractional-stepping Runge–Kutta methods, developed for stiff ordinary differential equations. The benefit is the individual handling of each operator with adapted standard higher-order time integrators. The methods are applied to equations for convection–diffusion reactions and we obtain higher-order results. Finally we discuss the applications of the iterative operator-splitting methods to multi-dimensional and multi-physical problems.  相似文献

We consider linear functional equations of the third kind in L 2 with arbitrary measurable coefficients and unbounded integral operators with kernels satisfying broad conditions. We propose methods for reducing these equations by linear continuous invertible transformations either to equivalent integral equations of the first kind with nuclear operators or to equivalent integral equations of the second kind with quasidegenerate Carleman kernels. To the integral equations obtained after the reduction, one can apply various exact and approximate methods of solution; in particular, the two approximate methods developed in this article.  相似文献

In this paper we establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions for nonlinear evolution equations on a Banach space with locally monotone operators, which is a generalization of the classical result for monotone operators. In particular, we show that local monotonicity implies pseudo-monotonicity. The main results are applied to PDE of various types such as porous medium equations, reaction–diffusion equations, the generalized Burgers equation, the Navier–Stokes equation, the 3D Leray-α model and the p-Laplace equation with non-monotone perturbations.  相似文献

The geometrical interpretation of a family of higher order iterative methods for solving nonlinear scalar equations was presented in [S. Amat, S. Busquier, J.M. Gutiérrez, Geometric constructions of iterative functions to solve nonlinear equations. J. Comput. Appl. Math. 157(1) (2003) 197-205]. This family includes, as particular cases, some of the most famous third-order iterative methods: Chebyshev methods, Halley methods, super-Halley methods, C-methods and Newton-type two-step methods. The aim of the present paper is to analyze the convergence of this family for equations defined between two Banach spaces by using a technique developed in [J.A. Ezquerro, M.A. Hernández, Halley’s method for operators with unbounded second derivative. Appl. Numer. Math. 57(3) (2007) 354-360]. This technique allows us to obtain a general semilocal convergence result for these methods, where the usual conditions on the second derivative are relaxed. On the other hand, the main practical difficulty related to the classical third-order iterative methods is the evaluation of bilinear operators, typically second-order Fréchet derivatives. However, in some cases, the second derivative is easy to evaluate. A clear example is provided by the approximation of Hammerstein equations, where it is diagonal by blocks. We finish the paper by applying our methods to some nonlinear integral equations of this type.  相似文献

This paper deals with open quantum systems. In particular, we focus on the adjoint quantum master equations with initial conditions given by unbounded operators. Examples of this type of initial data are the position and momentum operators of quantum oscillators and the occupation number operator in many-body particle systems. The article establishes the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the operator equations governing the motion of unbounded observables under the Born-Markov approximations. To this end, we develop the relation between operator evolution equations arising in quantum mechanics and stochastic evolutions equations of Schrödinger type. Furthermore, we examine quantum dynamical semigroup properties of the Heisenberg evolutions of general classes of observables.  相似文献

We consider the approximation of operator functions in resolvent Krylov subspaces. Besides many other applications, such approximations are currently of high interest for the approximation of φ-functions that arise in the numerical solution of evolution equations by exponential integrators. It is well known that Krylov subspace methods for matrix functions without exponential decay show superlinear convergence behaviour if the number of steps is larger than the norm of the operator. Thus, Krylov approximations may fail to converge for unbounded operators. In this paper, we analyse a rational Krylov subspace method which converges not only for finite element or finite difference approximations to differential operators but even for abstract, unbounded operators whose field of values lies in the left half plane. In contrast to standard Krylov methods, the convergence will be independent of the norm of the discretised operator and thus of the spatial discretisation. We will discuss efficient implementations for finite element discretisations and illustrate our analysis with numerical experiments.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider evolution equations with time-dependent pseudomonotone and quasimonotone operators by a new approach based on equilibrium problems theory. We establish new existence results for equilibrium problems associated to pseudomonotone and quasimonotone bifunctions in the topological sense. The results obtained are then applied to derive existence of solutions for evolution equations. The approach is new and leads to improve and unify most of the results obtained in this direction.  相似文献

Using results of Part I of this paper, we shall now develop two methods of constructing linear partial differential equations which admit Bergman operators with polynomial kernels; these equations will be obtained explicitly. Those methods will also yield general representations of solutions of such an equation which are holomorphic in some domain of complex two-space. For generating all those solutions, one needs a pair of Bergman operators. Whereas in Part I of this paper we required at least one of the two operators to have a polynomial kernel, we now impose the condition that both operators be of that kind. This entails further basic results about the existence, construction, and uniqueness of solutions.  相似文献

We consider nonautonomous retarded functional differential equations under hypotheses which are designed for the application to equations with variable time lags, which may be unbounded, and construct an evolution system of solution operators which are continuously differentiable. These operators are defined on manifolds of continuously differentiable functions. The results apply to pantograph equations and to nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations, for example. For linear equations we also provide a simpler evolution system with solution operators on a Banach space of continuous functions.  相似文献

Under consideration are the functional equations of the first, second, and third kind with operators in wide classes of linear continuous operators in L 2 containing all integral operators. We propose methods for reducing these equations by linear invertible changes either to linear integral equations of the first kind with nuclear operators or to equivalent linear integral equations of the second kind with quasidegenerate Carleman kernels.
