Exposed and Strongly Exposed Points of Finite Order in Some Banach Spaces

in this paper we study the exposed and strongly exposed points of finite order inl(D,X) as well as in L(ll (D,X), Y) and L(X, l(D,Y) ), where X and Y are real Banachspaces while D is a non empty index set. In particular, we characterize the exposed andstrongly exposed points in these spaces.     

On strongly jump traceable reals

In this paper we show that there is no minimal bound for jump traceability. In particular, there is no single order function such that strong jump traceability is equivalent to jump traceability for that order. The uniformity of the proof method allows us to adapt the technique to showing that the index set of the c.e. strongly jump traceables is -complete.     

Diffusion versus absorption in semilinear elliptic equations

We study the limit behaviour of a sequence of singular solutions of a nonlinear elliptic equation with a strongly degenerate absorption term at the boundary of the domain. We give sharp conditions on the rate of degeneracy in terms of the distance to the boundary in order the pointwise singularity not to propagate along the boundary.

Corrigendum to “Colorings and spectral radius of digraphs” [Discrete Math. 339 (1) (2016) 327–332]

Two errors in the original article are corrected so as to validate the major results. Thus, the digraphs that have the minimum and second minimum spectral radius among all strongly connected digraphs with given order and dichromatic number are determined.

本文提出了低阶项系数具一定奇异性的高阶强椭圆微分算子生成解析半群的条 件,其包含了低阶项系数属于Schecter位势类的情形.特别地,低阶项系数属于LP(Rn) 的情形也在其中.作为应用,得到低阶项系数属于LP(Rn)的强椭圆算子的相应半群生 成,且p还可取到一些临界值.     

Invariant Measures for a Stochastic Kuramoto–Sivashinsky Equation

Abstract

For the one-dimensional Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation with random forcing term, existence and uniqueness of solutions is proved. Then, the Markovian semigroup is well defined; its properties are analyzed in order to provide sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of invariant measures for this stochastic equation. Finally, regularity results are presented.     

Strongly Prime Submodules

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. For an R-module M, the notion of strongly prime submodule of M is defined. It is shown that this notion of prime submodule inherits most of the essential properties of the usual notion of prime ideal. In particular, the Generalized Principal Ideal Theorem is extended to modules.     

Strongly Duo Modules and Rings

An R-module M is called strongly duo if Tr(N, M) = N for every N ≤ M _R . Several equivalent conditions to being strongly duo are given. If M _R is strongly duo and reduced, then End _R (M) is a strongly regular ring and the converse is true when R is a Dedekind domain and M _R is torsion. Over certain rings, nonsingular strongly duo modules are precisely regular duo modules. If R is a Dedekind domain, then M _R is strongly duo if and only if either M ≈ R or M _R is torsion and duo. Over a commutative ring, strongly duo modules are precisely pq-injective duo modules and every projective strongly duo module is a multiplication module. A ring R is called right strongly duo if R _R is strongly duo. Strongly regular rings are precisely reduced (right) strongly duo rings. A ring R is Noetherian and all of its factor rings are right strongly duo if and only if R is a serial Artinian right duo ring.     

Irreducible matrices with reducible principal submatrices

Let A be a (0, 1)-matrix of order n 3 and let s_i⁰(A), i = 1, …, n, be the number of the off diagonal 0's in row and column i of A. We prove that if A is irreducible, and if all its principal submatrices of order (n − 1) are reducible, then s_i⁰(A) n − 1; i = 1, …, n. This establishes the validity of a conjecture by B. Schwarz concerning strongly connected graphs and their primal subgraphs.

三阶Runge-Kutta最优算法

本文利用最优化思想,根据一阶常微分方程数值解的收敛性和稳定性,引进最优化技术,确定最优系数,得到强稳定的三阶Runge-Kutta最优算法.     

Optimality conditions for an isolated minimum of order two in C constrained optimization

In this paper we obtain first and second-order optimality conditions for an isolated minimum of order two for the problem with inequality constraints and a set constraint. First-order sufficient conditions are derived in terms of generalized convex functions. In the necessary conditions we suppose that the data are continuously differentiable. A notion of strongly KT invex inequality constrained problem is introduced. It is shown that each Kuhn-Tucker point is an isolated global minimizer of order two if and only if the problem is strongly KT invex. The article could be considered as a continuation of [I. Ginchev, V.I. Ivanov, Second-order optimality conditions for problems with C¹ data, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 340 (2008) 646-657].     

Triple intersection numbers for the Paley graphs

We give a tight bound for the triple intersection numbers of Paley graphs. In particular, we show that any three vertices have a common neighbor in Paley graphs of order larger than 25.     

Modified Ishikawa Iteration Process for Nonlinear Lipschitz Generalized Strongly Pseudo-Contractive Operators in Arbitrary Banach Spaces

In this paper, we modify the Ishikawa iteration process and show that such process, associated with a nonlinear Lipschitzian generalized strongly pseudo-contractive operator with a fixed point in a (not necessarily uniformly smooth) Banach space, converges strongly to the unique fixed point of this operator.     

Higher order Schwarzian derivatives and quasisymmetric homeomorphisms北大核心CSCD

NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS OF HARDY-HENON TYPE ELLIPTIC SYSTEMS

In this article,the authors investigate the existence problem for Hardy Hénon type strongly indefinite elliptic systems.Existence results are obtained for such systems with superlinear suberitical nonlinearities.     

A Note on a Class of Strongly Coupled Semilinear Reaction-diffusion Equations

A class of strongly coupled semilinear reaction-diffusion equations is discussed. The FitzHugh-Nagumo equation in [1] is only an example. The results that strongly coupled term generates an analytic semigroup extended the results in [4]. The results of the existence and uniqueness of solution and the stability of zero solution improved that in [1]. This paper also discusses the existence of periodic solution.     

Partial Skew Polynomial Rings and Jacobson Rings

In this article we consider rings R with a partial action α of an infinite cyclic group G on R. We generalize the well-known results about Jacobson rings and strongly Jacobson rings in skew polynomial rings and skew Laurent polynomial rings to partial skew polynomial rings and partial skew Laurent polynomial rings.
