In this paper, we prove a blow-up criterion of strong solutions to the 3-D viscous and non-resistive magnetohydrodynamic equations for compressible heat-conducting flows with initial vacuum. This blow-up criterion depends only on the gradient of velocity and the temperature, which is similar to the one for compressible Navier-Stokes equations.  相似文献

In this article, we study the blow-up solutions for a case of b-family equations.Using the qualitative theory of differential equations and the bifurcation method of dynamical systems, we obtain five types of blow-up solutions: the hyperbolic blow-up solution, the fractional blow-up solution, the trigonometric blow-up solution, the first elliptic blow-up solution, and the second elliptic blow-up solution. Not only are the expressions of these blow-up solutions given, but also their relationships are discovered. In particular, it is found that two bounded solitary solutions are bifurcated from an elliptic blow-up solution.  相似文献

In this article, we consider a newly modified two-component Camassa–Holm equation. First, we establish the local well-posedness result, then we present a precise blow-up scenario. In this paper, we consider a generalized Camassa–Holm equation with the flow generated by the vector field and its gradient. We first establish the local well-posedness of equation in the sense of Hadamard in both critical Besov spaces and supercritical Besov spaces. Then we gain a blow-up criterion. Under a sign condition we reach the sign-preserved property and a precise blow-up criterion. Applying this precise criterion we finally present two blow-up results and the precise blow-up rate for strong solutions to equation.  相似文献

We study the blow-up solutions for the Davey–Stewartson system(D–S system, for short)in L2x(R2). First, we give the nonlinear profile decomposition of solutions for the D–S system. Then, we prove the existence of minimal mass blow-up solutions. Finally, by using the characteristic of minimal mass blow-up solutions, we obtain the limiting profile and a precisely mass concentration of L2 blow-up solutions for the D–S system.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the blow-up behavior of solutions of a parabolic equation with localized reactions. We completely classify blow-up solutions into the total blow-up case and the single point blow-up case, and give the blow-up rates of solutions near the blow-up time which improve or extend previous results of several authors. Our proofs rely on the maximum principle, a variant of the eigenfunction method and an initial data construction method.  相似文献

We study behaviors of scalar quantities near the possible blow-up time, which is made of smooth solutions of the Euler equations, Navier–Stokes equations and the surface quasi-geostrophic equations. In this paper we study finite time blow-up of solutions of a hyperbolic model for chemotaxis. Using appropriate scaling this hyperbolic model leads to a parabolic model as studied by Othmer and Stevens (1997) and Levine and Sleeman (1997). In the latter paper, explicit solutions which blow-up in finite time were constructed. Here, we adapt their method to construct a corresponding blow-up solution of the hyperbolic model. This construction enables us to compare the blow-up times of the corresponding models. We find that the hyperbolic blow-up is always later than the parabolic blow-up. Moreover, we show that solutions of the hyperbolic problem become negative near blow-up. We calculate the zero-turning-rate time explicitly and we show that this time can be either larger or smaller than the parabolic blow-up time. The blow-up models as discussed here and elsewhere are limiting cases of more realistic models for chemotaxis. At the end of the paper we discuss the relevance to biology and exhibit numerical solutions of more realistic models.  相似文献

This paper deals with the Dirichlet problem for a parabolic system with localized sources. We first obtain some sufficient conditions for blow-up in finite time, and then deal with the possibilities of simultaneous blow-up under suitable assumptions. In this paper, we investigate some nonlocal diffusion problems with free boundaries. We first give the existence and uniqueness of local solution by the ODE basic theory and the contraction mapping principle. Then we provide a complete classification for the global existence and finite time blow-up of solutions. We study numerical approximations to solutions of a system of two nonlinear diffusion equations in a bounded interval, coupled at the boundary in a nonlinear way. In certain cases the system develops a blow-up singularity in finite time. Fixed mesh methods are not well suited to approximate the problem near the singularity. As an alternative to reproduce the behaviour of the continuous solution, we present an adaptive in space procedure. The scheme recovers the conditions for blow-up and non-simultaneous blow-up. It also gives the correct non-simultaneous blow-up rate and set. Moreover, the numerical simultaneous blow-up rates coincide with the continuous ones in the cases when the latter are known. Finally, we present numerical experiments that illustrate the behaviour of the adaptive method.  相似文献
