Kagoshima Bay is an enclosed bay that has the tendency to undergo eutrophication, and a very important site to describe the behavior of open seawater intrusion. According to the results of the satellite SST (Sea Surface Temperature) image analysis or numerical simulation focused on the warm water intrusion into the bay in winter, a warm water mass originates in the meandering Kuroshio Current and reaches the mouth of the bay making the density flow to act like a semi-geostrophic current that is influenced by the Coriolis effect. However, there is still no information on the oceanic intruding flow during the summer, where it is accompanied by thermal stratification. In this research, satellite remote sensing and numerical simulation were employed to investigate the oceanic water intrusion into Kagoshima Bay during the summer season by using satellite chl-a (chlorophyll-a) images instead of SST. As a result, the distribution of the low-concentration chl-a with the oceanic water intrusion was found to be similar to the intrusion that occurs during the winter season. Furthermore, the numerical simulation was performed under the simple assumption that the thickness of the warm water mass that reaches the southern coast of Kyushu also shows the same tendency as in the winter season. Although the characteristics, such as the intruding speed or intruding pattern, are similar in winter, some features such as the generation of the inflow from the middle layer, showed a different tendency.  相似文献

From the field observations and the buoy robot data, the warm ocean water is known to intrude into Kagoshima Bay intermittently in winter. We first visualize these phenomena using some satellite thermal infrared images. Then the numerical analysis is performed employing a multi-level finite difference method (FDM). It is found from the numerical analysis that the intrusion occurs when the warm water comes into touch with the bay water at the mouth of the bay. The calculated warm water distribution in the bay is similar to the satellite images and the velocity of the intrusion is the same order with the ones estimated by the buoy robot data and the satellite images. The intrusion occurs even without the tidal effect, the role of the tide is only to rectify some warm water distribution in the bay.  相似文献

The developing region of a turbulent square jet is investigated using high-resolution particle image velocimetry (PIV). The mean velocity and turbulence stresses are presented in various horizontal planes, along the jet centerline covering the initial region of the jet as well as the transition to the self-similar region. To study the flow structure away from the central plane, velocity measurements in two additional horizontal planes, one located halfway from the jet central plane toward the edge and the other at the edge of the square jet, are also examined. Analysis of the instantaneous velocity fields reveal the presence of an arrow-like feature in the square jet due to the higher instability generated in the jet shear layer compared with a round jet. To elucidate the imprints of the vortex structures present in the jets, a swirling strength-based vortex identification methodology is applied on a large ensemble of instantaneous velocity fields. Statistical analysis of the number of vortex cores, and their size and rotational strength in the measurement plane is undertaken. Vortex population at the edge was found to be very different compared with that in the central plane.  相似文献

It is experimentally found that a horizontal vortex is formed in the head of a dam-break wave, whose diameter is of the same order of magnitude as the wave amplitude. A close packing of vortex dipoles with a diameter of about the bottom particle size arises near the bottom. The central part of the dipoles lifts with the captured gravel and is twisted with the large vortex to form a wisp. The central part of the wisp lifts to form a wall composed of water and gravel.  相似文献

An equation system that describes the potential and vortex residual hydrodynamical fields that emerge in the rotating ocean during tsunami generation by co-seismic deformations of the bottom was obtained in terms of linear long-wave theory. For the model case of a cylindrically symmetrical deformation of the bottom, a completely analytical solution was found. On the basis of this solution, the structure of residual fields was analyzed and estimates of the residual horizontal displacements of water particles, of the speed of the vortex current, and of the energy of a geostrophic vortex were obtained under typical tsunami source conditions.  相似文献

A new globally uniform Lagrangian transport scheme for large ensembles of passive tracer particles is presented and applied to wind data from a coupled atmosphere-ocean climate model that includes interactive dynamical feedback with stratospheric chemistry. This feedback from the chemistry is found to enhance large-scale meridional air mass exchange in the northern winter stratosphere as well as intrusion of stratospheric air into the troposphere, where both effects are due to a weakened polar vortex.  相似文献

为了解决乘波体偏离设计条件下气动特性会恶化,特别在低速时,升力严重不足这个问题,提出了通过增大后掠角生成前缘涡,增加背风面的升力,以改善乘波体低速气动性能.首先使用Visual Basic编程语言,并通过CATIA软件二次开发技术,实现了锥导乘波体的参数化设计和自动生成.再通过控制圆锥角和流场长度这两个设计参数,获得了大后掠乘波体构型.最后,运用剪切应力输运(shear-stress-transport,SST)模型,计算了所得乘波体的气动特性,并分析了流场变化,发现乘波体在设计状态下激波能很好附着在前缘上,在小的正攻角下,乘波体可获得比设计状态更高的升阻比,满足巡航要求.运用k-ω模型计算了乘波体的低速气动特性,得到了不同攻角下升力、阻力和升阻比的变化规律.研究结果发现,乘波体在低速下产生了明显的涡结构,在合适攻角下,能产生数量可观的附加升力,提高了乘波体的水平起降性能.   相似文献

利用上海光源软X射线谱学显微光束线站(STXM)并结合X射线的磁圆二色效应, 我们对方形、圆形和三角形的Ni80Fe20薄膜微结构中的磁涡旋结构进行了定量实验观测, 并利用同步辐射光源的元素分辨特性, 分别在Fe和Ni的L3吸收边对涡旋磁结构进行了观测. 我们还对磁涡旋中磁矩的分布进行了定量分析, 发现实验结果与微磁学模拟结果完全符合.  相似文献

Fluid particle advection in the vicinity of the Föppl vortex system is considered. Due to periodic motion of vortices about the Föppl equilibrium, fluid particles within the vortex atmosphere, the fluid region with a velocity field being induced by the vortices, can move chaotic in the sense of exponential divergence of near trajectories. This chaotic motion leads to the vortex atmosphere particles to be carried away from the atmosphere to the exterior flow. In this Letter, the part of the carried away fluid particles is numerically assessed and the dynamics of the fluid release from the vortex atmosphere is demonstrated.  相似文献

在任意拉格朗日欧拉(ALE)算法模拟有热对流影响的颗粒两相流动的直接数值模拟基础上, 通过建立颗粒溶解速度和颗粒表面热流密度的关系, 对溶解的椭圆颗粒在垂直管道内牛顿流体中的沉降进行了直接数值模拟. 计算结果表明:与等温惰性椭圆颗粒沉降相比, 流体的对流运动、颗粒质量以及形状的变化等因素使溶解的椭圆颗粒在不同初始角度沉降时, 颗粒沉降动态尾迹、颗粒受力、颗粒沉降速度等都发了较大变化.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the compressible turbulent synthetic jet flow characteristics of a dual diaphragm piezoelectric actuator. Experimentally, a flow visualization system was established to obtain the particle streak images scattered from 10-μm red fluorescent spheres for observing the synthetic jet flowfield produced by a dual diaphragm piezo actuator. The centerline velocity of the synthetic jet was also measured by using a hot-wire anemometry system. In the analysis, the computational approach adopted the transient three-dimensional conservation equations of mass and momentum with the moving boundary specified to represent the piezo diaphragm motion. The standard k-∈ two-equation turbulent model was employed for turbulence closure. For the actuator operating at the frequency of 648 Hz, the particle streakline images in the cross-sectional plane visualized a turbulent jet flow pattern in the far-field area. The hot-wire anemometry data indicated that the measured centerline velocity of synthetic jets reached 3.8 m/s at y/d= 50. The predictions were compared with the visualized particle streak images and centerline velocity of the synthetic jet in order to validate the computer code. The numerical simulation revealed the time-periodic formation and advection of discrete vortex pairs. Caused by the outward movement of the piezo diaphragms, air near the orifice was entrained into the actuator cavity when the vortex pairs were sufficiently distant from the orifice.  相似文献

研究水平非均匀分布噪声源所产生的各向异性海洋环境噪声场声能流。提出一种混合型非均匀分布噪声源模型,理论分析并数值计算了此模型情况下的环境噪声场水平声能流。结果表明:非均匀分布噪声源引起的海洋环境噪声场具有显著非零平均水平声能流;不同接收点的水平声能流明显不同;其幅度和方向取决于各个局部海域不等强度声源产生的合成噪声声能流矢量和。研究了两接收点间噪声的声压和振速水平分量、振速水平分量归一化相关系数随两接收点间距的关系,各量之间表现出较强相关性,为分析水下矢量声场目标探测技术性能提供理论依据。   相似文献

对存在倾斜透镜时两个刃型位错的相互作用进行了研究.研究表明, 两个离轴刃型位错在一定条件下由于相互作用会消失, 并有一个或两个非正则光涡旋产生, 一个共轴刃型位错和一个离轴刃型位错相互作用时产生一个非正则光涡旋. 当初始场中两个刃型位错相互垂直或者平行时, 出射场中会有一个或者两个刃型位错出现. 改变透镜的倾斜因子不影响出射场中位相奇点的类型和数量, 但位相奇点的横向位置与倾斜因子有线性关系. 两个刃型位错相互作用产生的光涡旋对的三维轨迹是非线性的, 但光涡旋对的中心沿直线传输. 关键词: 位相奇点 刃型位错 非正则光涡旋 倾斜透镜  相似文献

A new matrix formulation of Lagrange hydrodynamic equations is proposed. Exact solutions of those equations are obtained in matrix form. It is found that precession of vortex lines around some fixed axis in space is a general property of the flows described by those solutions. Two types of fluid motion are studied. Flows of the first type have straight vortex lines, and their particle trajectories are windings on toroidal surfaces. The other flows have plane particle trajectories, and their vortex lines are arbitrarily shaped plane curves. 螺旋状尾迹涡是直升机悬停旋翼流场的主导特征之一,其时空演化特性对旋翼气动性能具有重要影响.为了揭示悬停状态下旋翼尾迹涡的演化特征,对两桨叶刚性旋翼在高雷诺数悬停状态下的双螺旋状尾迹涡开展数值研究,采用基于流场特征的网格自适应技术,结合低耗散迎风/中心混合格式以及延迟脱体涡模拟方法对Caradonna-Tung旋翼在桨尖马赫数为0.439、桨尖雷诺数为1.92×10~6的悬停流场进行了高分辨率计算.基于欧拉和拉格朗日两种描述方法对计算结果进行了分析,揭示了双螺旋尾涡系统的演化特性:后缘尾涡面在桨尖附近的反向卷起及其与下游桨尖涡的相互作用是影响涡系稳定性以及涡-涡相互作用的重要因素;涡龄小于720°时,在固连于桨叶上的旋转坐标系中观察,涡系具有时空稳定性,涡管中心处轴向涡量随涡龄按照幂函数规律衰减.在固连于漩涡中心的局部极坐标系中,周向速度分布以及涡核半径随涡龄的变化与理论涡模型相符合,环量随涡龄的变化显示了漩涡的生长、平衡及耗散等演化阶段;模态分析结果表明,除点涡模态外,来流与点涡的复合模态在漩涡演化过程中对流动特征的转变有重要影响;涡系轴截面速度场的拉格朗日拟序结构直观地显示了漩涡场的时空演化过程,揭示了漩涡配对和共旋穿越等流动特征,同时也展示了后缘尾涡面卷起现象在漩涡演化过程中的作用.  相似文献

Thermal crisis of a vortex source at energy input under constant pressure is investigated. The energy release intensities per unit mass and per unit volume are analyzed for the case of the vortex source flow into vacuum (regime I). Analytical solutions for gasdynamic parameters and an algorithm for constructing the heat release intensity function for different variants of vortex sources are studied. Limitations on the extension of a constant-pressure interval are determined, and the dependences of the energy input area critical coordinates, critical temperature, and energy input parameters on the mass flow, gas circulation, and initial coordinate of the energy input area are obtained. A small correction to the gas specific heat with rising temperature and a significant correction to the specific heat at a stagnation temperature of 1000 K are considered.  相似文献

A visualization study was performed to investigate the flow of an underexpanded nitrogen gas jet injected into water. The stagnation pressure was varied in the range 0.5–8.0 MPa. The gas jet length and expansion angle were obtained from time-averaged images captured using a high-speed camera. The gas jet length and expansion angle increased approximately linearly with increasing stagnation pressure. The entrainment velocity and the velocity of entrained water droplets in the gas jet were obtained by particle image velocimetry.  相似文献

The large-scale horizontal variability of deep scattering layers (DSL) in the Northwestern Pacific is analyzed. The analysis is based on long-term measurements of the column strength and the volume scattering coefficient for frequencies from 0.63 to 16 kHz. The depth and frequency dependences of the scattering coefficient are presented for different regions of the aforementioned ocean region. The most pronounced changes in the DSL structure are found to occur at the boundaries between large-scale water masses or seas with different hydrological characteristics. By contrast, within such water masses and seas, the depth-frequency structure of the DSL remains relatively stable.  相似文献

Numerical calculations of (finite temperature) superfluid vortex ring propagation against a particulate sheet show that the solid particle trajectories collapse to a very good approximation to the normal-fluid path lines. We propose an experiment in which, by measuring the solid particles' velocities, direct information about the instantaneous normal-fluid velocity values could be obtained.  相似文献

本文采用Navier-Stokes方程和Spalart-Allmaras湍流模型,对只在叶轮尾缘带有导流罩的低压轴流风扇进行了三维稳态内流模拟,详细分析了叶顶流场中叶尖涡的产生和发展轨迹。研究结果表明,叶尖涡在距叶尖前缘约1/4叶顶轴向弦长的吸力面附近形成,在叶轮出口附近消失,在切向约占3/4流道,近似形成一个涡环,阻塞主流.在回转面上,叶尖涡涡核先沿流线方向发展,在导流罩附近逐渐转为切向方向发展;在径向方向,叶尖涡先沿外径方向发展,在导流罩附近转向内径方向移动。空调室外机系统的不对称结构引起叶尖涡在叶轮旋转过程中的相对位移.流量的变化对叶尖涡的轴向位置影响较大,而对其径向位置的影响不明显;小流量时叶尖涡的轴向移动能力减弱,切向移动能力增强,消失位置向前缘方向移动.  相似文献
