In this study the optimal control of fed-batch glycerol fermentation is investigated based on an impulsive dynamical system. Considering the sudden increase of the glycerol and alkali in fed-batch culture of biodissimilation of glycerol to 1,3-propanediol, this paper proposes a nonlinear impulsive system of fed-batch culture. The existence, uniqueness and regularity properties of piecewise solution for the system are proved. In view of the controllability of volumes of glycerol added to the reactor instantaneously, the paper constructs an optimal control model based on the nonlinear impulsive system and the existence of the optimal control is obtained. The control variables here are the moments and the sizes of jumps in the states at the discrete instants and the objective is to maximize the productivity of 1,3-propanediol over one cycle.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an optimal control problem of microbial fermentation process in which glycerol is converted to 1,3-propanediol by Klebsiella pneumoniae in fed-batch culture. During the period of reaction, the variation of pH value is monitored to determine glycerol replenishment quantity, guaranteeing that microorganism can always keep growing fast under enough nutrition. Every time pH value is lower than seven, the quantity of glycerol added is such that pH value returns seven again. Glycerol is poured into reactor at discrete time instant and the quantity is controllable. The problem is to determine for each discrete time instant the glycerol quantity to add and maximize the final concentration of 1,3-propanediol. We present a controlled explicit nonlinear impulsive dynamical system of fed-batch culture with state independent vector measures as controls and study the existence, uniqueness, boundedness, continuous dependence and Gâteaux differentiability of its solution with respect to controls. We then propose a multiple objective programming model and demonstrate the regularity of cost functionals and weak compactness of admissible control set. Finally we discuss the existence of optimal control and implement a hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the model optimally. Computational results are presented on a numerical example.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of robust L reliable control for a class of uncertain impulsive switched nonlinear systems with time-delay in the presence of actuator failure. Based on the dwell time approach, we firstly obtain a sufficient condition of exponential stability for the impulsive switched nonlinear system with time-delay, and L performance for the considered system is also analyzed. Then, based on above results, a state feedback controller, which guarantees the exponential stability with L performance of the corresponding closed-loop system, is constructed. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

According to the controllability of pulse times and the amount of jumps in the states at these times in the process of fed-batch culture producing 1,3-propanediol, this paper proposes a terminal optimal control model, whose constraint condition is the nonlinear impulsive delay system. The existence of optimal control is discussed and an optimization algorithm which is applied to each subinternal over one cycle for this optimal control problem is constructed. Finally, the numerical simulations show that the terminal intensity of producing 1,3-propanediol has been increased obviously.  相似文献

Considering the abrupt jump of the substrate and different characters of the bacterial in the lag phase, the exponential phase and the stationary phase this paper proposes the multi-stage nonlinear impulsive system for the fed-batch fermentation from glycerol to 1,3-propanediol (1,3-PD) and establishes the bilevel identification system for its sensitive parameters. The properties of the solutions for the nonlinear multi-stage dynamical system are investigated and identifiability of the parameters is proved. Finally an optimal algorithm is constructed to obtain the optimal solution of the identification model and the numerical example is then discussed to illustrate the algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, we study optimal relaxed controls and relaxation of nonlinear fractional impulsive evolution equations. Firstly, existence of piecewise continuous mild solutions for the original fractional impulsive control system is presented. Secondly, fractional impulsive relaxed control system is constructed by using a regular countably additive measure and making the original control system convexified. Thirdly, optimal relaxed controls and relaxation theorems are obtained. Vector Lyapunov theory has been developed to weaken the hypothesis of standard Lyapunov theory in order to enlarge the class of Lyapunov functions that can be used for analyzing system stability. In this paper, we provide generalizations to the recent extensions of vector Lyapunov theory for continuous-time systems to address stability and control design of impulsive dynamical systems via vector Lyapunov functions. Specifically, we provide a generalized comparison principle involving hybrid comparison dynamics that are dependent on the comparison system states as well as the nonlinear impulsive dynamical system states. Furthermore, we develop stability results for impulsive dynamical systems that involve vector Lyapunov functions and hybrid comparison inequalities. Based on these results, we show that partial stability for state-dependent impulsive dynamical systems can be addressed via vector Lyapunov functions. Furthermore, we extend the recently developed notion of control vector Lyapunov functions to impulsive dynamical systems. Using control vector Lyapunov functions, we construct a universal hybrid decentralized feedback stabilizer for a decentralized affine in the control nonlinear impulsive dynamical system that possesses guaranteed gain and sector margins in each decentralized input channel. These results are then used to develop hybrid decentralized controllers for large-scale impulsive dynamical systems with robustness guarantees against full modeling and input uncertainty.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of locally exponential stabilization (LES) of nonlinear systems under a class of hybrid control in the framework of actuator saturation, where the limitation of actuator saturation on both continuous state feedback control and impulsive control are fully considered. Based on impulsive control theory and differential inclusion approach, some sufficient conditions for LES are derived, where a novel set inclusion relation is proposed to handle the double saturation nonlinearities. Different from the existing results that each part of saturated hybrid control (SHC) is required to stabilize the system individually, our results relax the requirement by making full use of the correction effect of the impulse. Moreover, the maximum of estimation of domain of attraction is obtained by a convex optimal problem and corresponding algorithm. The result is applied to the robustness for a class of nonlinear systems. Finally, the validity of the results is shown by two examples and their simulations, where the synchronization problem of Chua’s oscillator is illustrated in the framework of actuator saturation.  相似文献

This article investigates the function projective synchronization (FPS) for a class of time‐delay chaotic system via nonlinear adaptive‐impulsive control. To achieve the FPS, suitable nonlinear continuous and impulsive controllers are designed based on adaptive control theory and impulsive control theory. Using the generalized Babarlat's lemma, a general condition is given to ensure the FPS. Here, the time‐delay chaotic system is assumed to satisfy the Lipschitz condition while the Lipschitz constants are estimated by augmented adaptation equations. The problem of impulsive generalized synchronization for a class of nonlinear discrete chaotic systems is investigated in this paper. Firstly the response system is constructed based on the impulsive control theory. Then by the asymptotic stability criteria of discrete systems with impulsive effects, some sufficient conditions for asymptotic H-synchronization between the drive system and response system are obtained. This paper is concerned with the stability of n-dimensional stochastic differential delay systems with nonlinear impulsive effects. First, the equivalent relation between the solution of the n-dimensional stochastic differential delay system with nonlinear impulsive effects and that of a corresponding n-dimensional stochastic differential delay system without impulsive effects is established. Then, some stability criteria for the n-dimensional stochastic differential delay systems with nonlinear impulsive effects are obtained. Finally, the stability criteria are applied to uncertain impulsive stochastic neural networks with time-varying delay. The results show that, this convenient and efficient method will provide a new approach to study the stability of impulsive stochastic neural networks. Some examples are also discussed to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.  相似文献

We consider a general nonlinear time-delay system with state-delays as control variables. The problem of determining optimal values for the state-delays to minimize overall system cost is a non-standard optimal control problem–called an optimal state-delay control problem–that cannot be solved using existing optimal control techniques. We show that this optimal control problem can be formulated as a nonlinear programming problem in which the cost function is an implicit function of the decision variables. We then develop an efficient numerical method for determining the cost function’s gradient. This method, which involves integrating an auxiliary impulsive system backwards in time, can be combined with any standard gradient-based optimization method to solve the optimal state-delay control problem effectively. We conclude the paper by discussing applications of our approach to parameter identification and delayed feedback control.  相似文献

This paper describes an optimal control problem involving a nonlinear impulsive control system, together with a nonlinear objective function and nonlinear control and state constraints. Both the magnitude of the impulses as well as the instants at which the impulses are applied can be regarded as decision variables. A computational method is described for solving the problem. To illustrate the usefulness of our method for real-life applications, we solve a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) treatment problem. The numerical results obtained clearly illustrate the efficiency of our method.  相似文献

In fed-batch culture of glycerol bio-dissimilation to 1, 3-propanediol (1, 3-PD), the aim of adding glycerol is to obtain as much 1, 3-PD as possible. So a proper feeding rate is required during the process. Taking the concentration of 1, 3-PD at the terminal time as the performance index and the feeding rate of glycerol as the control function, we propose an optimal control model subject to a nonlinear dynamical system and constraints of continuous state and non-stationary control. A computational approach is constructed to seek the solution of the above model in two aspects. On the one hand we transcribe the optimal control model into an unconstrained one based on the penalty functions and an extension of the state space; on the other hand, by approximating the control function with simple functions, we transform the unconstrained optimal control problem into a sequence of nonlinear programming problems, which can be solved using gradient-based optimization techniques. The convergence analysis of this approximation is also investigated. Numerical results show that, by employing the optimal control policy, the concentration of 1, 3-PD at the terminal time can be increased considerably.  相似文献

Features of this problem are discussed from the viewpoint of the extension of the classical optimal control problem with the corresponding state constraints. This paper studies the input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral input-to-state stability (iISS) of nonlinear impulsive systems in the framework of event-triggered impulsive control (ETIC), where the stabilizing effect of time delays in impulses is fully considered. Some sufficient conditions which can avoid Zeno behavior and guarantee the ISS/iISS property of impulsive systems are proposed, where external inputs are considered in both the continuous dynamics and impulsive dynamics. A novel event-triggered delayed impulsive control (ETDIC) strategy which establishes a relationship among event-triggered parameters, impulse strength and time delays in impulses is presented. It is shown that time delays in impulses can contribute to the stabilization of impulsive systems in ISS/iISS sense. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results is illustrated by two numerical examples.  相似文献
