Suppose XX is a real qq-uniformly smooth Banach space and F,K:X→XF,K:XX are Lipschitz ??-strongly accretive maps with D(K)=F(X)=XD(K)=F(X)=X. Let uu denote the unique solution of the Hammerstein equation u+KFu=0u+KFu=0. An iteration process recently introduced by Chidume and Zegeye is shown to converge strongly to uu. No invertibility assumption is imposed on KK and the operators KK and FF need not be defined on compact subsets of XX. Furthermore, our new technique of proof is of independent interest. Finally, some interesting open questions are included.  相似文献

Under the assumption that EE is a reflexive Banach space whose norm is uniformly Gêteaux differentiable and which has a weakly continuous duality mapping JφJφ with gauge function φφ, Ceng–Cubiotti–Yao [Strong convergence theorems for finitely many nonexpansive mappings and applications, Nonlinear Analysis 67 (2007) 1464–1473] introduced a new iterative scheme for a finite commuting family of nonexpansive mappings, and proved strong convergence theorems about this iteration. In this paper, only under the hypothesis that EE is a reflexive Banach space which has a weakly continuous duality mapping JφJφ with gauge function φφ, and several control conditions about the iterative coefficient are removed, we present a short and simple proof of the above theorem.  相似文献

Suppose XX is a real qq-uniformly smooth Banach space and F,K:X→XF,K:XX are bounded strongly accretive maps with D(K)=F(X)=XD(K)=F(X)=X. Let uu denote the unique solution of the Hammerstein equation u+KFu=0u+KFu=0. A new explicit coupled iteration process is shown to converge strongly to uu. No invertibility assumption is imposed on KK and the operators KK and FF need not be defined on compact subsets of XX. Furthermore, our new technique of proof is of independent interest. Let EE be a reflexive Banach space with a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm, let KK be a nonempty closed convex subset of EE, and let T:K?ET:K?E be a continuous pseudocontraction which satisfies the weakly inward condition. For f:K?Kf:K?K any contraction map on KK, and every nonempty closed convex and bounded subset of KK having the fixed point property for nonexpansive self-mappings, it is shown that the path x→xt,t∈[0,1)xxt,t[0,1), in KK, defined by xt=tTxt+(1−t)f(xt)xt=tTxt+(1t)f(xt) is continuous and strongly converges to the fixed point of TT, which is the unique solution of some co-variational inequality. If, in particular, TT is a Lipschitz pseudocontractive self-mapping of KK, it is also shown, under appropriate conditions on the sequences of real numbers {αn},{μn}{αn},{μn}, that the iteration process: z1∈Kz1K, zn+1=μn(αnTzn+(1−αn)zn)+(1−μn)f(zn),n∈Nzn+1=μn(αnTzn+(1αn)zn)+(1μn)f(zn),nN, strongly converges to the fixed point of TT, which is the unique solution of the same co-variational inequality. Our results propose viscosity approximation methods for Lipschitz pseudocontractions.  相似文献

Given a monotone and homogeneous self-mapping ff of the nn-dimensional positive cone, a family of contractive mappings is used to define an equivalence relation in the index set, as well as a total order among the equivalence classes. Then, it is shown (i) that the cycle times are well-defined at each index belonging to the maximal and minimal classes, and (ii) that the cycle times of ff exist at every index whenever a weak convexity condition is satisfied.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce an implicit iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of NN nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz-continuous mapping. The implicit iterative scheme is based on two well-known methods: extragradient and approximate proximal. We obtain a weak convergence theorem for three sequences generated by this implicit iterative scheme. On the basis of this theorem, we also construct an implicit iterative process for finding a common fixed point of N+1N+1 mappings, such that one of these mappings is taken from the more general class of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings and the other NN mappings are nonexpansive.  相似文献

Introducing certain singularities, we generalize the class of one-dimensional stochastic differential equations with so-called generalized drift. Equations with generalized drift, well-known in the literature, possess a drift that is described by the semimartingale local time of the unknown process integrated with respect to a locally finite signed measure νν. The generalization which we deal with can be interpreted as allowing more general set functions νν, for example signed measures which are only σσ-finite. However, we use a different approach to describe the singular drift. For the considered class of one-dimensional stochastic differential equations, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness in law of solutions.  相似文献

By means of a certain module VV and its tensor powers in a finite tensor category, we study a question of whether the depth of a Hopf subalgebra RR of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra HH is finite. The module VV is the counit representation induced from RR to HH, which is then a generalized permutation module, as well as a module coalgebra. We show that if in the subalgebra pair either Hopf algebra has finite representation type, or VV is either semisimple with RR pointed, projective, or its tensor powers satisfy a Burnside ring formula over a finite set of Hopf subalgebras including RR, then the depth of RR in HH is finite. One assigns a nonnegative integer depth to VV, or any other HH-module, by comparing the truncated tensor algebras of VV in a finite tensor category and so obtains upper and lower bounds for depth of a Hopf subalgebra. For example, a relative Hopf restricted module has depth 1, and a permutation module of a corefree subgroup has depth less than the number of values of its character.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study the strong convergence of a process of implicit iteration to a common fixed point for a finite family of asymptotically hemi-contractive mappings. Our results extend a recent result of M.O. Osilike and B.G. Akuchu [Common fixed points of a finite family of asymptotically pseudocontractive maps, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2 (2004) 81–88] from Hilbert spaces to pp-uniformly convex Banach spaces with p>1p>1.  相似文献

Recently Proinov [P.D. Proinov, A generalization of the Banach contraction principle with high order of convergence of successive approximations, Nonlinear Analysis (2006), doi:10.1016/j.na.2006.09.008] generalized Banach contraction principle with high order of convergence. We extend some results of Proinov to the case of multi-valued maps from a complete metric space XX into the space of all nonempty proximinal closed subsets of XX. Our results not only generalize Nadler’s fixed-point theorem (in the case when TT is a mapping from a complete metric space XX into the space of all nonempty proximinal closed subsets of XX) but also gives high order of convergence. As an application, we obtain an existence theorem for first-order initial value problem.  相似文献

The present paper is concerned with the convergence problem of the variants of the Chebyshev–Halley iteration family with parameters for solving nonlinear operator equations in Banach spaces. Under the assumption that the first derivative of the operator satisfies the Hölder condition of order pp, a convergence criterion of order 1+p1+p for the iteration family is established. An application to a nonlinear Hammerstein integral equation of the second kind is provided.  相似文献

In a recent paper, Soner, Touzi and Zhang (2012) [19] have introduced a notion of second order backward stochastic differential equations (2BSDEs), which are naturally linked to a class of fully non-linear PDEs. They proved existence and uniqueness for a generator which is uniformly Lipschitz in the variables yy and zz. The aim of this paper is to extend these results to the case of a generator satisfying a monotonicity condition in yy. More precisely, we prove existence and uniqueness for 2BSDEs with a generator which is Lipschitz in zz and uniformly continuous with linear growth in yy. Moreover, we emphasize throughout the paper the major difficulties and differences due to the 2BSDE framework.  相似文献

We study the well-posedness of general reflected BSDEs driven by a continuous martingale, when the coefficient ff of the driver has at most quadratic growth in the control variable ZZ, with a bounded terminal condition and a lower obstacle which is bounded above. We obtain the basic results in this setting: comparison and uniqueness, existence, stability. For the comparison theorem and the special comparison theorem for reflected BSDEs (which allows one to compare the increasing processes of two solutions), we give intrinsic proofs which do not rely on the comparison theorem for standard BSDEs. This allows to obtain the special comparison theorem under minimal assumptions. We obtain existence by using the fixed point theorem and then a series of perturbations, first in the case where ff is Lipschitz in the primary variable YY, and then in the case where ff can have slightly-superlinear growth and the case where ff is monotonous in YY with arbitrary growth. We also obtain a local Lipschitz estimate in BMOBMO for the martingale part of the solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish an oscillation estimate of nonnegative harmonic functions for a pure-jump subordinate Brownian motion. The infinitesimal generator of such subordinate Brownian motion is an integro-differential operator. As an application, we give a probabilistic proof of the following form of relative Fatou theorem for such subordinate Brownian motion XX in a bounded κκ-fat open set; if uu is a positive harmonic function with respect to XX in a bounded κκ-fat open set DD and hh is a positive harmonic function in DD vanishing on DcDc, then the non-tangential limit of u/hu/h exists almost everywhere with respect to the Martin-representing measure of hh.  相似文献

The ball hull mapping  ββ associates with each closed bounded convex set KK in a Banach space its ball hull β(K)β(K), defined as the intersection of all closed balls containing KK. We are concerned in this paper with continuity and Lipschitz continuity (with respect to the Hausdorff metric) of the ball hull mapping. It is proved that ββ is a Lipschitz map in finite dimensional polyhedral spaces. Both properties, finite dimension and polyhedral norm, are necessary for this result. Characterizing the ball hull mapping by means ofHH-convexity we show, with the help of a remarkable example from combinatorial geometry, that there exist norms with noncontinuous ββ map, even in finite dimensional spaces. Using this surprising result, we then show that there are infinite dimensional polyhedral spaces (in the usual sense of Klee) for which the map ββ is not continuous. A property known as ball stability implies that ββ has Lipschitz constant one. We prove that every Banach space of dimension greater than two can be renormed so that there is an intersection of closed balls for which none of its parallel bodies is an intersection of closed balls, thus lacking ball stability.  相似文献

We develop a notion of nonlinear expectation–GG-expectation–generated by a nonlinear heat equation with infinitesimal generator GG. We first study multi-dimensional GG-normal distributions. With this nonlinear distribution we can introduce our GG-expectation under which the canonical process is a multi-dimensional GG-Brownian motion. We then establish the related stochastic calculus, especially stochastic integrals of Itô’s type with respect to our GG-Brownian motion, and derive the related Itô’s formula. We have also obtained the existence and uniqueness of stochastic differential equations under our GG-expectation.  相似文献
