In this paper, using Lassonde’s fixed point theorem for Kakutani factorizable multifunctions and Park’s fixed point theorem for acyclic factorizable multifunctions, we will prove new existence theorems for general best proximity pairs and equilibrium pairs for free abstract economies, which generalize the previous best proximity theorems and equilibrium existence theorems due to Srinivasan and Veeramani [P.S. Srinivasan, P. Veeramani, On best approximation pair theorems and fixed point theorems, Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2003 (1) (2003) 33–47; P.S. Srinivasan, P. Veeramani, On existence of equilibrium pair for constrained generalized games, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2004 (1) (2004) 21–29], and Kim and Lee [W.K. Kim, K.H. We give a unified approach to Hadamard well-posedness for some nonlinear problems such as those of Ky Fan’s point and quasi-variational inequality. As applications, we obtain some well-posed theorems for Nash equilibrium points.  相似文献

New existence theorems of best proximity pairs for a finite family of Kakutani multimaps are proved in a normed space setting. As applications, new existence theorems of equilibrium pairs for free nn-person and 1-person games are obtained. Our results generalize and improve several well-known results.  相似文献

Suppose XX is a real qq-uniformly smooth Banach space and F,K:X→XF,K:XX are bounded strongly accretive maps with D(K)=F(X)=XD(K)=F(X)=X. Let uu denote the unique solution of the Hammerstein equation u+KFu=0u+KFu=0. A new explicit coupled iteration process is shown to converge strongly to uu. No invertibility assumption is imposed on KK and the operators KK and FF need not be defined on compact subsets of XX. Furthermore, our new technique of proof is of independent interest. We establish a maximal element theorem, an intersection theorem and a coincidence-point theorem in product GFC-spaces. As examples of wide ranges of applications, we first deduce sufficient conditions for the solution existence of a mixed system of inclusions. Then using this we obtain existence results for systems of vector quasi-optimization problems and for multiobjective mathematical programs constrained by systems of inclusions. Our results are shown to improve and include recent ones in the literature.  相似文献

The concepts of “weak/strong topological contraction” and a generalization of Banach contraction mappings called “pp-contraction” are introduced and used to prove fixed point theorems for self-mappings from a topological/metric space into itself satisfying topological contraction/metric pp-contraction, respectively. Certain non-linear integral equations defined on C[a,b]C[a,b] satisfying generalized Lipschitzian conditions can easily be solved by applying these theorems. In the sequel, we shall study the possibility of optimally controlling the solution of the ordinary differential equation via dynamic programming.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Then, strong convergence of the scheme to a common element of the two sets is proved. As an application, problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem is solved. Moreover, solution is given to the problem of finding a common element of fixed points set of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a variational inequality problem.  相似文献

A Nash-based collusive game among a finite set of players is one in which the players coordinate in order for each to gain higher payoffs than those prescribed by the Nash equilibrium solution. In this paper, we study the optimization problem of such a collusive game in which the players collectively maximize the Nash bargaining objective subject to a set of incentive compatibility constraints. We present a smooth reformulation of this optimization problem in terms of a nonlinear complementarity problem. We establish the convexity of the optimization problem in the case where each player's strategy set is unidimensional. In the multivariate case, we propose upper and lower bounding procedures for the collusive optimization problem and establish convergence properties of these procedures. Computational results with these procedures for solving some test problems are reported. It is with great honor that we dedicate this paper to Professor Terry Rockafellar on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Our work provides another example showing how Terry's fundamental contributions to convex and variational analysis have impacted the computational solution of applied game problems. In this paper, we provide a new result of the existence of equilibria for set-valued maps on bounded closed subsets K of Hilbert spaces. We do not impose either convexity or compactness assumptions on K but we assume that K has epi-Lipschitz sections, i.e. its intersection with suitable finite dimensional spaces is locally the epigraph of Lipschitz functions. In finite dimensional spaces, the famous Brouwer theorem asserts the existence of a fixed point for a continuous function from a compact convex set K to itself. Our result could be viewed as a kind of generalization of this classical result in the context of Hilbert spaces and when the function (or the set-valued map) does not necessarily map K into itself (K is not invariant under the map). Our approach is based firstly on degree theory for compact and for condensing set-valued maps and secondly on flows generated by trajectories of differential inclusions.  相似文献

In the present paper, we obtain a new KKM type theorem for intersectionally closed-valued KKM maps and some useful new basic consequences. In this paper, we introduce a general iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common solutions of generalized equilibrium problems, the set of common fixed points of a family of infinite non-expansive mappings. Strong convergence theorems are established in a real Hilbert space under suitable conditions. As some applications, we consider convex feasibility problems and equilibrium problems. Let $f : \mathbb{R}_{+} \rightarrow \mathbb{C}$ be an exponentially bounded, measurable function whose Laplace transform has a bounded holomorphic extension to the open right half-plane. It is known that there is a constant C such that $\mid \int\limits^t_0 f(s) ds \mid\, \leq C (1 + t)$ for all $t \geq 0$. We show that this estimate is sharp.
