We study the mode coupling among the local normal modes of couplers formed from planar parabolic graded-index tapered optical waveguides with the propagating beam method. Our results indicate that couplers whose radiia (z) depend on axial length as \Lambda /2$$ " align="middle" border="0"> , have many desirable properties not possessed by other couplers.  相似文献

It is noted that in the new Particle Data Group(PDG) version the rare decays of the Λ_b baryon have been revised with more accuracy. The new results show that most of the existing theoretical results on the process Λ_b→Λ_γ Lgbare larger than those of experiments. With the improved higher-order light-cone distribution amplitudes of the Λ baryon, we reanalyze the process in the framework of light-cone quantum chromodynamics sum rules and the branching ratio is estimated to be Br (Λ_b→Λ_γ)=(7.38_(-0.39)~(+0.40))×10~(16), which is consistent with the new experimental result. Furthermore, another process Λ_b→Λl~+l~- is also analyzed in the same frame. The final branching ratio is calculated to be Br (Λ_b→Λl~+l~-)=1.20×10~(-6), which is in good accordance with the data from the PDG and other theoretical predictions.  相似文献

We search for the production of single top quarks via flavor-changing-neutral-current couplings of a gluon to the top quark and a charm (c) or up (u) quark. We analyze 230 pb{-1} of lepton+jets data from pp[over] collisions at a center of mass energy of 1.96 TeV collected by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We observe no significant deviation from standard model predictions, and hence set upper limits on the anomalous coupling parameters kappa{g}{c}/Lambda and kappa{g}{u}/Lambda, where kappa{g} define the strength of tcg and tug couplings, and Lambda defines the scale of new physics. The limits at 95% C.L. are kappa{g}{c}/Lambda<0.15 TeV-1 and kappa{g}{u}/Lambda<0.037 TeV-1.  相似文献

Role of the Λ(1600) is studied in the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction by using the effective Lagrangian approach near the threshold. We perform a calculation for the total and differential cross sections by considering the contributions from the Λ(1600) and Λ(1670) intermediate resonances decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ with ${{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{\rm{\Lambda }}$. Additionally, the non-resonance process from u-channel nucleon pole is also taken into account. With our model parameters, the current experimental data on the total cross sections of the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction can be well reproduced. It is shown that we really need the contribution from the Λ(1600) with spin-parity ${J}^{P}=1/{2}^{+}$, and that these measurements can be used to determine some of the properties of the Λ(1600) resonance. Furthermore, we also plot the π0Λ invariant mass distributions which could be tested by the future experimental measurements.  相似文献

In the framework of a five-dimensional (5D) bounce cosmological model, a useful function f(z) is obtained by giving a concrete expression of deceleration parameter q(z)=q1+{q2}/{1+ln (1+ z)}. Then using the obtained Hubble parameter H(z) according to the function f(z), we constrain the accelerating universe from recent cosmic observations: the 192 ESSENCE SNe Ia and the 9 observational H(z) data. The best fitting values of transition redshift zT and current deceleration parameter q0 are given as zT= 0.65-0.120.25 and q0 = - 0.76-0.15+0.15 (1σ). Furthermore, in the 5D bounce model it can be seen that the evolution of equation of state (EOS) for dark energy wde can cross over -1 at about z=0.23 and the current value w0de= - 1.15<- 1. On the other hand, by giving a concrete expression of model-independent EOS of dark energy wde, in the 5D bounce model we obtain the best fitting values zT= 0.660.08+0.11 and q0 = - 0.690.10+0.10 (1σ) from the recently observed data: the 192 ESSENCE SNe Ia, the observational H(z) data, the 3-year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) baryon acoustic peak and the x-ray gas mass fraction in clusters.  相似文献

Relativistic mean field theory is tested in reproducing the novel experimentalΛ single particle (π+, K+) spectra of Λ=12/90 hypernuclei (and extended to Λ 209 Pb). The adjusted model is then applied to multistrange systems \({}_{n_\Lambda \Lambda }^{16 + n_\Lambda } O,_{n_\Lambda \Lambda }^{40 + n_\Lambda } Ca\) ; no anomalous behaviour of radii and densities in those multi-Λ hypernuclei is encountered.  相似文献

We study the off-diagonal decay of Bergman kernels \({\Pi_{h^k}(z,w)}\) and Berezin kernels \({P_{h^k}(z,w)}\) for ample invariant line bundles over compact toric projective kähler manifolds of dimension m. When the metric is real analytic, \({P_{h^k}(z,w) \simeq k^m {\rm exp} - k D(z,w)}\) where \({D(z,w)}\) is the diastasis. When the metric is only \({C^{\infty}}\) this asymptotic cannot hold for all \({(z,w)}\) since the diastasis is not even defined for all \({(z,w)}\) close to the diagonal. Our main result is that for general toric \({C^{\infty}}\) metrics, \({P_{h^k}(z,w) \simeq k^m {\rm exp} - k D(z,w)}\) as long as w lies on the \({\mathbb{R}_+^m}\)-orbit of z, and for general \({(z,w)}\), \({{\rm lim\,sup}_{k \to \infty} \frac{1}{k} {\rm log} P_{h^k}(z,w) \,\leq\, - D(z^*,w^*)}\) where \({D(z, w^*)}\) is the diastasis between z and the translate of w by \({(S^1)^m}\) to the \({\mathbb{R}_+^m}\) orbit of z. These results are complementary to Mike Christ’s negative results showing that \({P_{h^k}(z,w)}\) does not have off-diagonal exponential decay at “speed” k if \({(z,w)}\) lies on the same \({(S^1)^m}\)-orbit.  相似文献

Energy levels and Λ Λ bond energy of the double- Λ hypernucleus are calculated by considering two- and three-cluster interactions. Interactions between constituent particles are contact interactions for reproducing the low binding energy of nuclei. The effective action is constructed to involve three-body forces. In this paper, we also compare the obtained binding energy result with experimental and other cluster and shell models. The results of all schemes agree very well showing the high accuracy of our method to calculate the other many-body hyperonic nuclei using three-cluster interactions. The experimental values of \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{10}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = (11.90 ± 0.13) MeV, \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{11}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = (20.49 ± 1.15) MeV and \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{12}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = (22.23 ± 1.15) MeV seem to be more compatible with our calculated value of \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{10}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = 14.04 MeV, \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{11}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = 19.31 MeV and \(B_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}(^{12}_{\Lambda {\Lambda }}\) Be) = 21.45 MeV in comparison with the other calculated results by Hiyama et al, Gal et al and Guleria et al.  相似文献

Based on the beyond-mean-field Skyrme–Hartree–Fock model, impurity effects of the Λhyperon in the hypernuclear systems ${}_{\,{\rm{\Lambda }}}^{25}$ Mg and ${}_{\,{\rm{\Lambda }}}^{29}$ Si are investigated, respectively. Four cases, in which the Λhyperon occupies the single-particle orbitals ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[000]${\tfrac{1}{2}}^{+}$, ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[110]${\tfrac{1}{2}}^{-}$, ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[101]${\tfrac{3}{2}}^{-}$ and ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[101]${\tfrac{1}{2}}^{-}$, are focused. In each case, the potential energy surface and the energy curves projected on certain angular momenta are employed to show the influence of the Λhyperon on the nuclear core. Beside the shrinkage effect that is induced by the Λhyperon occupying the sΛ orbital, it is found that the Λhyperon on the pΛ orbital, ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[110]${\tfrac{1}{2}}^{-}$, drives the nuclear core toward a prolate shape, while the ones on the other two pΛ orbitals, ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[101]${\tfrac{3}{2}}^{-}$ and ${\rm{\Lambda }}$[101]${\tfrac{1}{2}}^{-}$, drive the nuclear core toward an oblate shape. The energy spectra and the corresponding intra-band E2 transition rates for the rotational bands are given as a prediction for future experiments.  相似文献

The single crystals of Nd_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_3 were successfully grown by optical floating zone method.Room temperature x-ray diffraction and Laue photograph declared the homogeneity and high quality of the crystal. The significant magnetic anisotropy and multiple magnetic transitions illustrate the complex magnetic structure. At high temperatures(T 66 K),it shows the typical characteristics of Γ_4(G_x,A_y,F_z) state. With the decrease of the temperature,it undergoes a first-order spin reorientation transition from Γ_4(G_x,A_y,F_z) to Γ_2(F_x,C_y,G_z) state in the temperature window of 45-66 K under an applied magnetic field of 0.01 T.As the temperature drops to ~17 K,a new magnetic interaction mechanism works, which results in a further enhancement of magnetization. The T-H phase diagram of Nd_(0.5)Pr_(0.5)FeO_3 single crystal was finally constructed.  相似文献

The cross section of the quasi-elastic reactions \(\bar v_\mu p \to \mu ^ + \Lambda (\Sigma ^0 )\) in the energy range 5–100 GeV is determined from Fermilab 15′ bubble chamber antineutrino data. TheQ 2 analysis of quasi-elastic Λ events yieldsM A=1.0±0.3 GeV/c2 for the axial mass value. With zero µΛ K 0 events observed, the 90% confidence level upper limit \(\sigma (\bar v_\mu p \to \mu ^ + \Lambda {\rm K}^0 )< 2.0 \cdot 10^{ - 40} cm^2 \) is obtained. At the same time, we found that the cross section of reaction \(\bar v_\mu p \to \mu ^ + \Lambda {\rm K}^0 + m\pi ^0 \) is equal to \(\left( {3.9\begin{array}{*{20}c} { + 1.6} \\ { - 1.3} \\ \end{array} } \right) \cdot 10^{ - 40} cm^2 \) .  相似文献

The Λ separation energy for Λ hypernuclei, denoted B_Λ,measured in 1967,1968,and 1973 are recalibrated using the current best estimates of the mass of particles and nuclei. The recalibrated B_Λ are systematically larger(except in the case of _Λ~6He) than the originally published values by about 100 keV.The effect of this level of recalibration is very important for light hypemuclei, especially for the hypertriton. The early B_Λ values measured in1967,1968,and 1973 are widely used in theoretical research, and the new results provide better constraints for the conclusions of such studies.  相似文献

The deformation change of ${^{9}_\Lambda}$ Be and the low-lying states of ${^{12}_{\Lambda}}$ Be are studied by using the antisymmetrized molecular dynamics for hypernuclei (HyperAMD). In ${^{9}_{\Lambda}}$ Be, the Λ hyperon in p orbit enhances nuclear quadrupole deformation, while the Λ hyperon in s orbit reduces it. In ${^{12}_{\Lambda}}$ Be, the ground state parity inverted in 11Be is reverted in ${^{12}_{\Lambda}}$ Be by adding a Λ hyperon as an impurity (impurity effect).  相似文献

Based on the displacement-squeezing related squeezed coherent state representation ≤ft\vert z\right\rangle _{g} and using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, this paper finds a generalized Fresnel operator, whose matrix element in the coordinate representation leads to a generalized Collins formula (Huygens--Fresnel integration transformation describing optical diffraction). The generalized Fresnel operator is derived by a quantum mechanical mapping from z to sz-rz^{\ast } in the % ≤ft\vert z\right\rangle _{g} representation, while ≤ft\vert z\right\rangle _{g} in phase space is graphically denoted by an ellipse.  相似文献

Spinor brane
The thick brane model supported by a nonlinear spinor field is constructed. The different cases with the various values of the cosmological constant ${\Lambda \left( {l} < \\ =\\ > \right) 0}${\Lambda \left( \begin{array}{l} < \\ =\\ > \end{array} \right) 0} are investigated. It is shown that regular analytical spinor thick brane solutions with asymptotically Minkowski (at Λ = 0) or anti-de Sitter spacetimes (at Λ <  0) do exist.  相似文献

It is proved that the ground state Λ(L) of (?1)x the Schrödinger operator with white noise potential, on an interval of lengthL, subject to Neumann, periodic, or Dirichlet conditions, satisfies the law $$\mathop {\lim }\limits_{L \uparrow \infty } P[(L/\pi )\Lambda ^{1/2} \exp ( - \tfrac{8}{3}\Lambda ^{3/2} ) > x] = \left\{ {\begin{array}{*{20}c} {1forx< 0} \\ {e^{ - x} forx \geqslant 0} \\ \end{array} } \right.$$   相似文献

Let denote the grand canonical Gibbs measure of a lattice gas in a cube of sizeL with the chemical potential and a fixed boundary condition. Let be the corresponding canonical measure defined by conditioning on . Consider the lattice gas dynamics for which each particle performs random walk with rates depending on near-by particles. The rates are chosen such that, for everyn andL fixed, is a reversible measure. Suppose that the Dobrushin-Shlosman mixing conditions holds for forall chemical potentials . We prove that for any probability densityf with respect to ; here the constant is independent ofn orL andD denotes the Dirichlet form of the dynamics. Quintessence field is a widely-studied candidate of dark energy. There is ``tracker solution' in quintessence models, in which evolution of the field ø at present times is not sensitive to its initial conditions. When the energy density of dark energy is neglectable (Ωø<< 1), evolution of the tracker solutioncan be well analysed from ``tracker equation'. In this paper, we try tostudy evolution of the quintessence field from ``full tracker equation',which is valid for all spans of Ωø. We get stable fixed points of wø and Ωø (noted as \hat{w}ø and \hat{Ω}ø) from the ``full tracker equation', i.e., wø and Ωø will always approach \hat{w}ø and \hat{Ω}ø respectively. Since \hat{w}ø and \hat{Ω}ø are analytic functions of ø, analytic relation of \hat{w}ø ~ \hat{Ω}ø can be obtained, which is a good approximation for the wø ~ Ωø relation and can be obtained for the most type of quintessence potentials. By using this approximation, we find that inequalities \hat{w}ø < wø and \hat{Ω}ø < Ωø are statisfied if the wø (or \hat{w}ø) decreases with time. In this way, the potential U(ø) can be constrained directly from observations, by no need of solving the equations of motion numerically.  相似文献

Results are presented for the quasi two-body hypercharge exchange reactions of the type 0?1/2+→2+1/2+: $$\begin{gathered} \pi ^ - p \to K^0 (1420)(\Lambda ,\sum ^0 ), \hfill \\ K^ - p \to f^0 (1270)(\Lambda ,\sum ^0 ), \hfill \\ K^ - p \to f\prime (1515)(\Lambda ,\sum ^0 ), \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ using data from two high statistics bubble chamber experiments. The total and differential cross sections are presented and compared with those obtained for the corresponding vector meson reactions and with simple phenomenological ideas.  相似文献
