We report~(75) As nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)/nuclear quadrupole resonance(NQR) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) studies on LaFeAsO_(1-x)F_x. There are two superconducting domes in this material. The first one appears at 0.03 ≤ x ≤0.2 with T_c~(max) = 27 K, and the second one at 0.25 ≤x≤0.75 with T_c~(max) = 30 K. By NMR and TEM, we demonstrate that a C4-to-C2 structural phase transition(SPT) takes place above both domes, with the transition temperature T_s varying strongly with x. In the first dome, the SPT is followed by an antiferromagnetic(AF) transition, but neither AF order nor low-energy spin fluctuations are found in the second dome. By ~(75) As nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate(1/T_1) measurements, we find that AF order and superconductivity coexist microscopically in LaFeAsO_(0.97) F_(0.03). In the coexisting region, 1/T_1 decreases at T_c but becomes proportional to T below 0.6 T_c, indicating gapless excitations. Therefore, in contrast to the early reports, the obtained phase diagram for x ≤ 0.2 is quite similar to the doped BaFe_2As_2 system. The electrical resistivity p in the second dome can be fitted by ρ = ρ0 + AT~n with n = 1 and a maximal coefficient A at around xopt = 0.5-0.55 at which T_s extrapolates to zero and Tc is the maximal, which suggests the importance of quantum critical fluctuations associated with the SPT. We have constructed a complete phase diagram of LaFeAsO_(1-x)F_x, which provides insight into the relationship between SPT, antiferromagnetism and superconductivity.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that the inclusion of long-range intersite interactions qualitatively modifies the dependence of a superconducting gap on quasimomentum for both s-and d-symmetry types. In particular, the order parameter of a superconducting phase with $d_{x^2 - y^2 } $ the symmetry type depends on two amplitudes and has the form Δ(k)=Δ1(cosk x ?cosk y )+Δ2(cos2k x ?cos2k y ). In this case, the theoretical dependence of the critical temperature on the degree of doping agrees with the experimental dependence.  相似文献

(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance measurements were performed on κ-(BEDT-TTF)(2)Cu(NCS)(2), with the external field placed parallel to the quasi-2D conducting layers. The absorption spectrum is used to determine the electronic spin polarization M(s) as a function of external field H at a temperature T=0.35 K. A discontinuity in the derivative dM(s)/dH at an applied field of H(s)=213±3 kOe is taken as evidence for a Zeeman-driven transition within the superconducting state and stabilization of inhomogeneous superconductivity.  相似文献

Phonon anomaly was observed below 140 K for the absorption area (lnA) and the isomer shift () plotted against the temperature (T) in the119Sn Mössbauer study of the Bi2Sr2Ca(Cu0.995Sn0.005)2O8–y superconductor (glass-ceramic,T c(on)=86 K), which was prepared by heat treatment of the glassy sample. The anomaly suggests that the softening (quenching) of the lattice vibration causes the superconducting transition, as was observed in several YBa2(Cu, Sn)3O7–y superconductors. Fitting of the theoretical curve for the normal phonon of the combined Debye and Einstein model to the lnA versusT and versusT plots yielded D and E of 240 and 140 K, respectively. These results suggest that the probe (Sn4+) was located at the interstitial site close to the Cu site, and the softening of the Cu site vibration could be detected before the superconducting transition took place. Disordered structure seems to be favorable for the detection of phonon anomaly in the Bi system.  相似文献

We performed point-contact and tunneling measurements on the organic superconductors -(BEDT-TTF)2I3 and -(BEDT-TTF)2IAuI, in the normal and superconducting states. The point-contact measurement in the normal state provides the Eliashberg function 2()F (). This function has maxima at 4 and 15 mV, as well as a sharp peak at 1 mV which seems to indicate a very soft phonon strongly coupled to the electrons. The measurements in the superconducting state provide the superconducting gap, which for the tunneling measurements has a value 2/kB Tc4, just slightly above the BCS value.  相似文献

In a long-term planning for neutrino experiments in China, a medium baseline neutrino beam is proposed which uses a continue wave (CW) superconducting linac of 15 MW in beam power as the proton driver. The linac will be based on the technologies which are under development by the China-ADS project, namely it is also composed of a 3.2 MeV normal conducting RFQ and five different types of superconducting cavities. However, the design philosophy is quite different from the China-ADS linac because of the much weaker requirement on reliability here. The nominal design energy and current are 1.5 GeV and 10 mA, respectively. The general considerations and preliminary results on the physics design will be presented here. In addition, the alternative designs such as 2.0 GeV and 2.5 GeV, which may be required by the general design, can be easily extended from the nominal one.  相似文献

The normal state properties of the recently discovered ferropnictide superconductors might hold the key to understanding their exotic superconductivity. Using point-contact spectroscopy we show that Andreev reflection between an epitaxial thin film of Ba(Fe(0.92)Co(0.08))?As? and a silver tip can be seen in the normal state of the film up to temperature T~1.3T(c), where T(c) is the critical temperature of the superconductor. Andreev reflection far above T(c) can be understood only when superconducting pairs arising from strong fluctuation of the phase of the complex superconducting order parameter exist in the normal state. Our results provide spectroscopic evidence of phase-incoherent superconducting pairs in the normal state of the ferropnictide superconductors.  相似文献

A new grand unified model containing the known three generations of quark and lepton in which hadrons are regarded as nontopological solitons formed from quarks is presented. According to the model leptons and quarks are the same in essence. The differences between them are caused by spontaneous symmetry breaking.When a quark is located inside a hadron, its properties will be the same as those of a known quark and its mass very small. When a quark is outside hadrons, its properties will be the same as those of a known lepton, its mass very large and it Will rapidly decay. Except defining charge Q0 and fermion number F0 which are exactly conserved, we also define interior colour, interior charge and interior fermion number approximatly conserved inside a hadron. The (L-B) conservation in the known SU(5) model corresponds to the fermion number number Fo conservation in the present model.  相似文献

We find a mapping between antisymmetric tensormatter fields and the Weinberg 2(2j + 1)-componentbispinor fields. Equations which describethe j = 1 antisymmetric tensor field coincide with the Hammer-Tucker equations entirely and withthe Weinberg ones within a subsidiary condition, theKlein-Gordon equation. A new Lagrangian for the Weinbergtheory is proposed which is scalar and Hermitian. It is built on the basis of the concept ofWeinberg doubles. The origin of acontradiction between the classical theory, the Weinbergtheorem B – A = for quantum relativisticfields, and the claimed longitudity of the antisymmetrictensor field [transformed on the (1, 0) (0, 1)Lorentz group representation] after quantization isclarified. Analogs of the j = 1/2 Feynman–Dysonpropagator are presented in the framework of the j = 1 Weinberg theory.It is then shown that under a definite choice of fieldfunctions and initial and boundary conditions themassless j = 1 Weinberg–Tucker–Hammerequations contain all the information that the Maxwell equationsfor the electromagnetic field have. We report changes in the magnetic properties of hole-doped SCGO, SrCr8Ga4O19, induced by replacing non-magnetic Ga3+ with both non-magnetic (Mg2+ and Zn2+) and magnetic (Cu2+) cations. The resulting solid solutions, SrCr(8)Ga(4-x)M(x)O(19) (M = Zn, Mg, Cu) have been studied by x-ray diffraction and magnetic susceptibility measurements. For all cases, at least 10% of Ga can be replaced by divalent cations resulting in oxidation of ≥5% of the Cr3+ d3 to Cr4+ (d2). The hole doping results in an increase in ferromagnetic interactions and reduces the magnetic frustration. In the SrCr(8)Ga(4-x)Cu(x)O(19) series an enhancement of the spin-glass-like transition is observed, T(f)~ 6 K, which we ascribe to the magnetic nature of the Cu2+ (d9) dopant.  相似文献

Considering the signals detected at 4.03 and 4.16 GeV as radial excitations of charmonium, we study their relative decay rates intoD \(\bar D\) ,D \(\bar D^* \) ,D * \(\bar D\) ,D * \(\bar D^* \) . We point out that one can understand these two peaks as ac \(\bar c\) 3S?2D wave state system with a large mixing angle in a Coulomb+linear interquark potential. We also examine the possibility that these two signals are respectively 3S and 4S wave excitations by studying a logarithmic charmonium potential model. We show that both these interpretations lead to drastically different predictions for the Ψ (4.16) decay rates (eitherD \(\bar D^* \) +D * \(\bar D\) orD \(\bar D\) mode is strongly suppressed) which would be very instructive to test experimentally.  相似文献

The nonequilibrium state of the high-T(c) superconductor Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+δ) and its ultrafast dynamics have been investigated by femtosecond time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy well below the critical temperature. We probe optically excited quasiparticles at different electron momenta along the Fermi surface and detect metastable quasiparticles near the antinode, since their decay toward the nodal region through e-e scattering is blocked by phase space restrictions. The observed lack of momentum dependence in the decay rates is in agreement with relaxation dynamics dominated by Cooper pair recombination in a boson bottleneck limit.  相似文献
