The self-assembly of unsymmetrical tecton 3-nitro-5-(pyridin-4-yl)benzoic acid (HL)with cobalt chloride under hydrothermal conditions affords a new 2D coordination polymer [Co(L)2] n (1, L = 3-nitro-5-(pyridin-4-yl)benzoate), which is characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction analysis, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 is of the triclinic system, space group P-1 with a = 9.7857(12) Å, b = 10.3417(13) Å, c = 10.8463(13) Å, α = 85.155(2)°, β = 74.785(2)°, γ = 88.962(2)°, V = 1055.4(2) Å3. The crystal structural analysis of complex 1 shows that the cobalt center is six-coordinated in an octahedral geometry by four O atoms from four different L ligands and two N atoms from two different L ligands; the Co(II) cations are bridged by μ3-L into an interesting two-dimensional network structure. It should be pointed out that the thermal analysis results indicate that complex 1 is quite stable up to 420°C.  相似文献

The coordination compounds [CoL2Cl2] (I) and [CdL2(H2O)2(NO3)2] (II) have been synthesized by the reaction of CoCl2 · 6H2O and Cd(NO3)2 · 4H2O with L = 2-amino-4-methylpyrimidine (Ampym, C5H7N3), and their structures have been solved. The crystals of complex I are triclinic, space group $P\bar 1$ , a = 5.627(1) Å, b = 11.191(1) Å, c = 12.445(1) Å, α = 81.00(1)°, β = 77.21(1)°, γ = 76.18(1)°, V = 737.7(2) Å3, ρcalcd = 1.567 g/cm3, Z = 2. The crystals of complex II are monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 10.390(1) Å, b = 11.982(1) Å, c = 7.624(1) Å, β = 102.61(1)°, V = 926.1(2) Å3, ρcalcd = 1.760 g/cm3, Z = 2. Discrete [CoL2Cl2] moieties are realized in the structure of complex I. The cobalt atom is tetrahedrally coordinated to the two nitrogen atoms of crystallographically nonequivalent ligands L and two chlorine atoms (Co(1)-Navg, 2.051(4)Å; Co(1)-Cl(1), 2.241(1) Å; Co(1)-Cl(2), 2.263 Å; bond angles at the cobalt atom lie within a range of 102.1°–118.6°). The complexes are linked into supramolecular zigzag chains by N-H...N(Cl) hydrogen bonds. In the structure of complex II, the Cd2+ ion (at the inversion center) is coordinated in pairs to the nitrogen atoms of ligand L and the O(NO3) and O(H2O) oxygen atoms. The coordination of the Cd2+ ion is distorted octahedral (Cd(1)-N(1), 2.341Å; Cd(1)-O(1), 2.340(4) Å; Cd(1)-O(4), 2.327(3) Å; bond angles at the cadmium atom lie within a range of 79.1°–100.9°). N-H...N hydrogen bonds link the complexes into supramolecular chains. These chains are linked into a supramolecular framework by the O-H...O hydrogen bonds between water molecules and NO3 groups.  相似文献

The novel complex [Cu(men)2][Cu2Cd2Cl2(CN)6] (I) was isolated from the aqueous-ethanol system containing CuCl2, men (men = N-methylethane-1,2-diamine) and K2[Cd(CN)4] in the presence of dilute hydrochloric acid and chemically and spectroscopically characterised. The crystal structure of I consists of [Cu 2 I (CN)6] and [Cd2Cl2(CN)6] building units bridged by cyanide ligands and forms a three-dimensional skeleton with cavities. [Cu(men)2]2+ cations in which two men ligands are chelated (mean Cu-N is 2.033(6) Å) are located in the cavities. The coordination polyhedron around the Cu(II) atoms is formed as a tetragonal bipyramidal by two weaker axial Cu-Cl bonds (2.8642(12) Å) with chlorido ligands from the skeleton. The Cu(I) and Cd(II) atoms in the skeleton exhibit tetra-(CuC4 chromophore) and penta-coordination (CdN3Cl2), respectively. The temperature-dependent susceptibility measurements indicate a Curie-Weiss-like behaviour and the presence of weak anti-ferromagnetic interaction.  相似文献

The structure is monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 22.848(2) Å, b = 7.7182(8) Å, c = 14.4331(13) Å, β = 127.805(2)°, V = 2010.9(3) Å3, Z = 8, d x = 1.623 g/cm3. Copper atoms have a tetrahedral coordination environment formed by N atoms of the bpy molecule as well as N and C atoms of ambidentate bridging CN ligands.  相似文献

The compound [Co(En)3]2[Hg2(H2O)Cl6]Cl4 (I, En is ethylenediamine) has been synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystals of I (a = 21.8745(14) Å, b = 10.6008(6) Å, c=15.4465(12) Å, space group Pna21) consist of tris(ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) complexes (the unit cell contains two [Co(En)3]3+ cations of opposite chirality). [Hg2(H2O)Cl6]2? anions, and isolated chloride ions. The complex anion consists of the tetrahedral [HgCl4]2? group (Hg-Cl, 2.44–2.56 Å) and the hydrated molecule [Hg(H2O)Cl2] (Hg-Cl, 2.301 and 2.308 Å; Hg-O, 2.788 Å) combined by weak Hg-Cl interactions (2.915 and 3.220 Å).  相似文献

A new crystalline complex, bis[(2.2.2-cryptand)potassium] tetrakis(isothiocyanato)cobalt(II) ethanol solvate of the composition 2[K0.89Rb0.11(Crypt-222)]+ [Co(NCS)3.78Br0.22]2? EtOH (I), was synthesized with 22 mol % RbBr and studied by X-ray diffraction. Complex I contains two mixed host-guest complex cations and the mixed complex anion. The triclinic structure of complex I (space group P1, a = 12.060 Å, b = 12.156 Å, c = 12.264 Å, α = 80.45°, β = 61.28°, γ = 71.98°, Z = 1) was solved by a direct method and refined by the full-matrix least squares in the anisotropic approximation to R = 0.066 for all 4400 independent reflections (CAD-4 automated diffractometer, λMoK α radiation). The [Co(NCS)3.78Br0.22]2? anion is tetrahedral, and its two SCN? ligands are partially replaced by two Br? ligands. In structure I, two independent host-guest complex cations [K′(Crypt-222)]+ (K′ = (K1 ? δ Rbδ)+) are almost identical inverted reflection of each other and have approximate D 3 symmetry. Their mixed cation K′ is coordinated by all eight heteroatoms (6O + 2N) of the 2.2.2-cryptand ligand, and the coordination polyhedron K′ is a dibase-centered trigonal prism (coordination number eight) slightly distorted toward an antiprism.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the hexagonal H3Co(CN)6 (a = 6.43 Å, c = 5.70 Å, Z = 1) has been determined by X-ray powder methods. The space group is D (at least pseudo), the cobalt atoms being in (0, 0, 0). Structure factor calculations lead to a final R-value of 13.2%, based on F2-sums of coinciding reflections. The carbon and nitrogen atoms are located at the vertices of a slightly distorted octahedron around the cobalt atom; the angle Co? C? N is 177°. The interatomic distances are: Co? C = 1.89 Å, Co? N = 2,98 Å, C? N = 1.09 Å. The pseudo-octahedral units of Co(CN)6 are linked together by N? H? N bridges. Infrared spectra show that the most probable linkage is the one with a N? H? N-bond length of 2.7 Å.  相似文献

A new crystalline complex salt, 4,7,13,16,21,24-hexaoxa-1,10-diazaniabicyclo[8.8.8]hexacosane tetra(nitrato-O)copper(II) [H2(Crypt-222)]2+ · [Cu(NO3)4]2?(I), is synthesized and studied using X-ray diffraction analysis (space group P21/c, a = 10.264 Å, b = 14.798 Å, c = 19.516 Å, β = 100.20°, Z = 4). The structure is solved by a direct method and refined by the full-matrix least-squares method in the anisotropic approximation to R = 0.032 for 4050 independent reflections (CAD-4 automated diffractometer, λMoK α radiation). Salt I exist in crystals as individual ions: the [Cu(NO3)4]2? complex anion and the slightly disordered dication of 2.2.2-cryptand with two protonated nitrogen atoms. The Cu2+ cation has a square coordination somewhat distorted toward a flattened tetrahedron with four coordination bonds with the O atoms of the four NO 3 ? ligands. Trifurcate hydrogen bonds of the [H2(Crypt-222)]2+ type are observed in the N-H(? O)3 dication.  相似文献

2,4,6-Tris(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tptz) undergoes hydrolysis in the presence of copper(II) acetate affording bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amido-copper(II) and free 2-pyridylcarboxylic anion. Two compounds of formulas [Cu(NC5H4COO)2]·2H2O (1) and [Cu(NC5H4CO)2N(tptz)](N(CN)2)·7H2O (2), where NC5H4COO? and (NC5H4CO)2N? are 2-pyridylcarboxylate and bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amido-anion, respectively, were obtained from methanol/ethanol solution of tptz with copper acetate; they were characterized by element analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction method. Single crystal XRD analysis shows that in complex 1 coordination number around Cu atom is 4 with distorted square-planar coordination geometry and in complex 2 coordination number around Cu atom is 6 with distorted octahedral geometry. Crystal data for 1: a = 5.1359(10) Å, b = 7.6471(15) Å, c = 9.2303(18) Å, α = 74.90(3)°, β = 84.36(3)°, γ = 71.37(3)°, space group P1, crystal system triclinic, Z = 1, V = 331.6(1) Å3, d calc = 1.721 g/cm3. Two new cobalt(III) complexes of the Schiff base N,N′-disalicylidene-1,2-phenylendiimine dianion (salophen), trans- [CoIII(salophen)(ta)2]ClO4, (ta = thioacetamide) (1) and trans-[CoIII(salophen)(tb)2]ClO4, (tb = thiobenzamide) (2) were synthesized and characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic techniques. Both complexes show solvatochromism in a variety of solvents. Complex (1) crystallized from CHCl3 as a solvate of orthorhombic symmetry, space group Pca21 with a = 17.3480(10) Å, b = 18.7522(10) Å, c = 18.8128(11) Å, α = β = γ = 90°, and Z = 8. The cobalt(III) center lies in a distorted octahedral environment. The crystal structure of (1) consists of two independent [CoIII(salophen)(ta)2]+ cations and ClO4 - anions held together essentially via hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions. Complex (2), forming also a CHCl3 solvate, crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 14.710(3) Å, b = 13.506(3) Å, c = 18.595(4) Å, β = 100.295(4)°, and Z = 4. The geometry around cobalt(III) center is a distorted octahedron. The crystal structure of (2) contains a [CoIII(salophen)(tb)2]+ complex with a remarkably twisted salophen ligand. Both complexes, (1) and (2), contain approximately one disordered CHCl3 molecule per Co in the solid state.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear cobalt(III) complexes, [Co(MP)2(N3)] (I) and [Co(BP)2]NO3 · 2H2O (II), where MP is 2-methoxy-6-[(2-morpholin-4-ylethylimino)methyl]phenolate and BP is 4-bromo-2-[(2-methylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenolate, were prepared and structurally characterized by physicochemical methods and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both complexes crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c. For I: a = 10.3526(18), b = 25.371(4), c = 11.3585(19) Å, β = 101.529(8)°, V = 2923.1(8) Å3, Z = 4; for II: a = 9.801(2), b = 27.183(3), c = 10.846(2) Å, β = 114.269(2)°, V = 2634.2(8) Å3, Z = 4. An X-ray structural analysis indicates that in both complexes the Co atoms adopt octahedral coordination. The hindrance effects of the Schiff bases can influence the coordination of the secondary ligands such as azide.  相似文献

A novel bridging ligand, (3,5-dichloropyridin-4-yl)(pyridin-4-yl)methanol (I), and its cobalt(II) complex, [Co(I)2(NCS)2]n (II), were prepared. The structures of ligand I and complex II were determined by single crystal X-ray analysis. Magnetic susceptibility measurements were performed for cobalt (II) complex II. Compound I crystallised in orthorhombic space group Pbca with a = 7.6585(14) Å, b = 12.209(2) Å, c = 23.207(4) Å, V= 2170.0(7) Å3 and Z=8. Complex II crystallised in monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 13.223(8) Å, b = 16.959(10) Å, c = 13.948(8) Å, β = 115.395(10)°, V= 2826(3) Å3 and Z = 4. Each cobalt(II) ion is surrounded by two NCS? anions and four pyridyl moieties from two bridging ligands. Each bridging ligand connects two neighbouring Co(II) ions to form a 2-dimensional structure. Temperature dependence of the molar magnetic susceptibilities in the temperature range of 2–300 K revealed that magnetic interactions between the cobalt ions are weak.  相似文献

Novel optical ligands bis(menthane) (H2L1), pinano-para-menthane (H2L2), and carano-para-menthane (H2L3) propylenediaminodioximes are obtained. Diamagentic Co(III) complexes of the composition Co(HL1)Cl2 (I), Co(HL2)Cl2 (II), Co(HL3)Cl2 (III), and Co(HL4)Cl2 · H2O(IV) are synthesized by reactions of CoCl2 with H2L1, H2L2, H2L3 and bis(carane) propylenediaminodioxime (H2L4) in ethanol in air. The crystal and molecular structures of compound I is determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystals are monoclinic with the unit cell parameters a = 7.8385(3) Å, b = 11.4074(6) Å, c = 14.9509(6) Å, β = 104.278(2)°, V = 1295.57(10) Å3, Z = 2, ρ(calcd) = 1.367 g/cm3, F(000) = 564, M = 533.41, space group P21. The crystal structure of complex I consists of individual mononuclear molecules. The Co3+ ion coordinates four N atoms of tetradentate cycle-forming anionic ligand and two Cl atoms. The coordination polyhedron of Cl2N4 is a distorted octahedron. The 13C and 1H NMR spectra of the complexes synthesized confirm coordination of four N atoms of a ligand.  相似文献
