The paper is devoted to the problem of the existence of common fixed points and coincidence points of a family of set-valued maps of ordered sets. Fixed-point and coincidence theorems for families of set-values maps are presented, which generalize some of the known results. The presented theorems, unlike previous ones, do not assume the maps to be isotone or coverable. They require only the existence of special chains having lower bounds with certain properties in the ordered set.  相似文献

Possibility of the reduction of a coincidence problem to a fixed point problem is investigated for one-valued and multivalued mappings of partially ordered sets. New fixed point theorems are proved. The paper presents conditions providing the existence of a common fixed point of a family of commuting isotone multivalued mappings of a partially ordered set and the existence of the minimal element in the set of common fixed points. Additional conditions that guarantee the existence of the least element in that point set are also presented. Some new continuous selection theorems are first proved in noncompact topological spaces. As applications, some new collectively fixed point theorems and coincidence theorems for two families of set-valued mappings defined on product space of noncompact topological spaces are obtained under very weak assumptions. Jungck's [G. Jungck, Compatible mappings and common fixed points, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 9 (1986) 771-779] notion of compatible mappings is further extended and used to prove some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible non-self mappings in complete convex metric spaces. We improve on the method of proof used by Rhoades [B.E. Rhoades, A fixed point theorem for non-self set-valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20 (1997) 9-12] and Ahmed and Rhoades [A. Ahmed, B.E. Rhoades, Some common fixed point theorems for compatible mappings, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 32 (2001) 1247-1254] and obtain generalization of some known results. In particular, a theorem by Rhoades [B.E. Rhoades, A fixed point theorem for non-self set-valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20 (1997) 9-12] is generalized and improved.  相似文献

In this article, we develop results on the behavior of fixed points sets of set-valued pseudo-contraction mappings. Then, we investigate the notions related to the Aubin property and make use of connections between the two involved set-valued nonnecessarily Lipschitzian mappings to obtain results on the inverse of their sum similar to those in the literature generalizing Lyusternik and Graves theorems. By proximal convergence, we apply our results to the sensitivity analysis of variational inclusions.  相似文献

Some KKM theorems and coincidence theorems involving admissible set-valued mappings and the set-valued mappings with compactly local intersection property are proved in L-convex spaces. As applications, some new fixed point theorems are obtained in L-convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in recent literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain an existence theorem for fixed points of contractive set-valued mappings on a metric space endowed with a graph. This theorem unifies and extends several fixed point theorems for mappings on metric spaces and for mappings on metric spaces endowed with a graph. As an application, we obtain a theorem on the convergence of successive approximations for some linear operators on an arbitrary Banach space. This result yields the well-known Kelisky–Rivlin theorem on iterates of the Bernstein operators on C[0,1].  相似文献

We extend the idea of asynchronous iterations to self-mappings of product spaces with infinitely many components. In addition to giving a rather general convergence theorem we study in some detail the case of isotone and isotonically decomposable mappings in partially ordered spaces. In particular, we obtain relationships between asynchronous iterations and the total step method and results on enclosures for fixed points. They appear to be new, even for mappings defined on a product space with only finitely many components.  相似文献

The paper studies some topological properties of starlike bodies. It is proved that the boundary of a starlike body is a Lipschitz surface. A separability theorem for starlike bodies is proved. It is shown that under some additional assumptions the starlike property of the graph provides the local Lipschitz property of the set-valued mapping itself. It is shown that F. Clark’s contingent and tangential cones are Boltyansky tents. On the base of these results, some lower and upper differentials for set-valued mappings with starlike graphs are constructed. Some theorems on fixed points of set-valued mappings with starlike values are proved.  相似文献

The fixed point theory of set-valued contractions which was initiated by Nadler [S.B. Nadler Jr., Multi-valued contraction mappings, Pacific J. Math. 30 (1969) 475-488] was developed in different directions by many authors, in particular, by [S. Reich, Fixed points of contractive functions, Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 5 (1972) 26-42; N. Mizoguchi, W. Takahashi, Fixed point theorems for multivalued mappings on complete metric spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 141 (1989) 177-188; Y. Feng, S. Liu, Fixed point theorems for multi-valued contractive mappings and multi-valued Caristi type mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 317 (2006) 103-112]. In the present paper, the concept of contraction for set-valued maps in metric spaces is introduced and the conditions guaranteeing the existence of a fixed point for such a contraction are established. One of our results essentially generalizes the Nadler and Feng-Liu theorems and is different from the Mizoguchi-Takahashi result. The second result is different from the Reich and Mizoguchi-Takahashi results. The method used in the proofs of our results is inspired by Mizoguchi-Takahashi and Feng-Liu's ideas. Comparisons and examples are given.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish the equivalence between the existence of zeros for set-valued mappings and the solvability of variational inequality, under some conditions involving the generalized projection operator. Basing on this result, we obtain some existence theorems of zeros for quasimonotone set-valued mappings. Appl. doi:10.1007/s10957-011-9818-2) proved some theorems which ensure the existence and convergence of fixed points, as well as best proximity points for cyclic mappings in ordered metric spaces. In this paper we extend these results to generalized cyclic contractions and obtain some new results on the existence and convergence of fixed points for weakly contractive mappings, as well as on best proximity points for cyclic ??-contraction mappings in partially ordered metric spaces.  相似文献

In this article, we introduce the concept of a family of set-valued mappings generalized Knaster–Kuratowski–Mazurkiewicz (KKM) w.r.t. other family of set-valued mappings. We then prove that if X is a nonempty compact convex subset of a locally convex Hausdorff topological vector space and 𝒯 and 𝒮 are two families of self set-valued mappings of X such that 𝒮 is generalized KKM w.r.t. 𝒯, under some natural conditions, the set-valued mappings S ∈ 𝒮 have a fixed point. Other common fixed point theorems and minimax inequalities of Ky Fan type are obtained as applications.  相似文献
