As part of an exploration of new coordination polymers, a cadmium‐dicyanamide complex, namely poly[benzyltriethylammonium [tri‐μ‐dicyanamido‐κ6N 1:N5‐cadmium(II)]], {(C13H22N)[Cd(C2N3)3]}n , has been synthesized by the reaction of benzyltriethylammonium bromide, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and sodium dicyanamide in aqueous solution, and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction at room temperature. In the crystal structure, each CdII cation is coordinated by six nitrile N atoms from six anionic dicyanamide (dca) ligands to furnish a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked by dicyanamide bridges to construct a two‐dimensional anionic layer coordination polymer. One amide N atom in the bridging dca ligand is disordered over two sites. The cations lie between the anionic frameworks and there are no hydrogen‐bond interactions between the cations and anions. The organic cations are not involved in the formation of the supramolecular network.  相似文献

In the search for potential ferroelectric materials, molecular‐based one‐, two‐ and three‐dimensional cadmium(II) organic–inorganic compounds have been of interest as they often display solid–solid phase transitions induced by a variation in temperature. A new cadmium dicyanamide complex, poly[4‐dimethylamino‐1‐ethylpyridin‐1‐ium [tri‐μ‐dicyanamido‐κ6N1:N5‐cadmium(II)]], {(C9H15N2)[Cd(C2N3)3]}n, was synthesized by the reaction of 4‐dimethylamino‐1‐ethylpyridin‐1‐ium bromide, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and sodium dicyanamide in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, each CdII cation is octahedrally coordinated by six terminal N atoms from six anionic dicyanamide (dca) ligands. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked together by dicyanamide bridges to form a two‐dimensional coordination polymer. The organic cations are not involved in the formation of the supramolecular network.  相似文献

A new cadmium dicyanamide complex, poly[tetramethylphosphonium [μ‐chlorido‐di‐μ‐dicyanamido‐κ4N1:N5‐cadmium(II)]], [(CH3)4P][Cd(NCNCN)2Cl], was synthesized by the reaction of tetramethylphosphonium chloride, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and sodium dicyanamide in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, each CdII atom is octahedrally coordinated by four terminal N atoms from four anionic dicyanamide (dca) ligands and by two chloride ligands. The dicyanamide ligands play two different roles in the building up of the structure; one role results in the formation of [Cd(dca)Cl]2 building blocks, while the other links the building blocks into a three‐dimensional structure. The anionic framework exhibits a solvent‐accessible void of 673.8 Å3, amounting to 47.44% of the total unit‐cell volume. The cavities in the network are occupied by pairs of tetramethylphosphonium cations.  相似文献

A new cadmium–thiocyanate complex, namely catena‐poly[1‐carboxymethyl‐4‐(dimethylamino)pyridinium [cadmium(II)‐tri‐μ‐thiocyanato‐κ4N:S2S:N] [[[4‐(dimethylamino)pyridinium‐1‐acetate‐κ2O,O′]cadmium(II)]‐di‐μ‐thiocyanato‐κ2N:S2S:N]], {(C9H13N2O2)[Cd(NCS)3][Cd(NCS)2(C9H12N2O2)]}n, was synthesized by the reaction of 4‐(dimethylamino)pyridinium‐1‐acetate, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and potassium thiocyanide in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, two types of CdII atoms are observed in distorted octahedral coordination environments. One type of CdII atom is coordinated by two O atoms from the carboxylate group of the 4‐(dimethylamino)pyridinium‐1‐acetate ligand and by two N atoms and two S atoms from four different thiocyanate ligands, while the second type of CdII atom is coordinated by three N atoms and three S atoms from six different thiocyanate ligands. Neighbouring CdII atoms are linked by thiocyanate bridges to form a one‐dimensional zigzag chain and a one‐dimensional coordination polymer. Hydrogen‐bond interactions are involved in the formation of the supramolecular network.  相似文献

A cadmium–thiocyanate complex, poly[(1‐cyanomethyl‐4‐aza‐1‐azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane‐κ4N)octakis‐μ2‐thiocyanato‐κ8N:S8S:N‐tricadmium(II)], [Cd3(C8H14N3)2(NCS)8]n, was synthesized by the reaction of 1‐cyanomethyl‐4‐aza‐1‐azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane chloride, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and potassium thiocyanide in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, there are two independent types of CdII cation (one on a centre of inversion and one in a general position) and both are in distorted octahedral coordination environments, coordinated by N and S atoms from different ligands. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked together by thiocyanate bridges to form a two‐dimensional network. Hydrogen‐bonding interactions are involved in the formation of a three‐dimensional supramolecular network.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title complex, poly[μ‐1,4‐bis(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)butane‐di‐μ‐1,5‐dicyanamido‐cadmium(II)], [Cd(C2N3)2(C8H12N6)]n or [Cd(dca)2(btb)]n, where dca is dicyanamide and btb is 1,4‐bis(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)butane, each CdII atom occupies a center of symmetry and is in a six‐coordinated distorted octahedral environment. Four N atoms from four dca ligands fill the equatorial positions, and two N atoms from two btb ligands occupy the axial positions. The dca ligands adopt an end‐to‐end coordination mode and link the CdII atoms to form a 12‐membered Cd(dca)2Cd ring, and neighboring rings extend along the b axis to form a [Cd(dca)2]n chain. The btb ligands, acting as bridging bidentate ligands, link the CdII atoms of adjacent one‐dimensional [Cd(dca)2]n chains, forming a rhombic two‐dimensional network.  相似文献

Two cadmium halide complexes, catena‐poly[[chloridocadmium(II)]‐di‐μ‐chlorido‐[chloridocadmium(II)]‐bis[μ2‐4‐(dimethylamino)pyridin‐1‐ium‐1‐acetate]‐κ3O:O,O′;κ3O,O′:O], [CdCl2(C9H12N2O2)]n, (I), and catena‐poly[1‐cyanomethyl‐1,4‐diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane [[dichloridocadmium(II)]‐μ‐oxalato‐κ4O1,O2:O1′,O2′] monohydrate], {(C8H15N3)[CdCl2(C2O4)]·H2O}n, (II), were synthesized in aqueous solution. In (I), the CdII cation is octahedrally coordinated by three O atoms from two carboxylate groups and by one terminal and two bridging chloride ligands. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked together by chloride anions and bridging O atoms to form a one‐dimensional zigzag chain. Hydrogen‐bond interactions are involved in the formation of the two‐dimensional network. In (II), each CdII cation is octahedrally coordinated by four O atoms from two oxalic acid ligands and two terminal Cl ligands. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked together by oxalate groups to form a one‐dimensional anionic chain, and the water molecules and organic cations are connected to this one‐dimensional zigzag chain through hydrogen‐bond interactions.  相似文献

Two novel dicyanamide complexes [Co(dmf)2(NCNCN)2] ( 1 ) and [Cu(bipy)(NCNCN)]ClO4 ( 2 ) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2 with a = 13.568(6)Å, b = 7.403(3)Å, c = 8.118(3)Å and Z = 2, whereas 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, Cc group, a = 14.270(7)Å, b = 9.143(5)Å, c = 12.371(1) Å, β = 118.612(7)°, and Z = 4. According to X‐ray crystallographic studies, in complex 1 each CoII ion is six‐coordinated with four nitrogen atoms from four μ1, 5‐dca (dca = dicyanamide) ligands and two oxygen atoms from two dmf ligands to form distorted octahedra. 1 forms a 1‐D network bridged via μ1, 5‐dca. 2 consists of a uniform Cu(NCNCN)Cu chain, each CuII ion is octahedrally coordinated with four nitrogen atoms from two μ1, 5‐dca ligands and one bipy ligand and two oxygen atoms from two ClO4 ions. The octahedral CuII ion shows a significant Jahn‐Teller distortion, with two axial oxygen atoms considerably farther from the copper than the four equatorial nitrogens.  相似文献

The title compound, (C20H20P)[Cd(C2N3)3], consists of ethyltriphenylphosphonium (EtPh3P+) cations filling voids in a three‐dimensional anionic cadmium dicyanamide network. In the structure, each CdII atom is connected to six neighbouring CdII atoms through six separate dicyanamide ligands, forming cube‐shaped cages. The three‐dimensional anionic network encloses a solvent‐accessible void space of 1851 Å3, amounting to 69.3% of the unit‐cell volume. Each cage accommodates only one EtPh3P+ cation.  相似文献

A cadmium–thiocyanate complex, poly[[bis(nicotinic acid‐κN)di‐μ‐thiocyanato‐κ2N:S2S:N‐cadmium(II)] monohydrate], {[Cd(NCS)2(C6H5NO2)2]·H2O}n, was synthesized by the reaction of nicotinic acid, cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate and potassium thiocyanide in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, each CdII cation is in a distorted octahedral coordination environment, coordinated by the N and S atoms of nicotinic acid and thiocyanate ligands. Neighbouring CdII cations are linked together by thiocyanate bridges to form a two‐dimensional network. Hydrogen‐bond interactions between the uncoordinated solvent water molecules and the organic ligands result in the formation of the three‐dimensional supramolecular network.  相似文献

The crystal structure of catena‐poly[[[acetato(1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)copper(II)]‐μ‐dicyanamido‐κ2N1:N5] trihydrate], {[Cu(C2H3O2)(C2N3)(C12H8N2)]·3H2O}n, consists of a zigzag chain formed by the polymer [Cu(CH3COO)(dca)(phen)]n (phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline and dca is dicyanamide), with three water molecules per repeat unit of the polymer. The CuII atom has a slightly distorted square‐pyramidal coordination environment consisting of two N atoms of the phen ligand, two nitrile N atoms of different dca ligands, one of them axial, and one O atom of the acetate anion. The compound forms a one‐dimensional chain using dca as an end‐to‐end bridging ligand. Non‐covalent interactions, π–π stacking and hydrogen bonding mediate the bundling of the polymer chains into a three‐dimensional structure, with the water molecules playing an important role in the hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of polymeric coordination compounds of 3d transition metals are of great interest in the search for functional materials. The coordination chemistry of the copper(II) ion is of interest currently due to potential applications in the areas of molecular biology and magnetochemistry. A novel coordination polymer of CuII with bridging N,N′‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐2,2‐dimethylpropane‐1,3‐diamine (H2L‐DM) and dicyanamide (dca) ligands, catena‐poly[[[μ2‐2,2‐dimethyl‐N,N′‐bis(2‐oxidobenzylidene)propane‐1,3‐diamine‐1:2κ6O,N,N′,O′:O,O′]dicopper(II)]‐di‐μ‐dicyanamido‐1:2′κ2N1:N5;2:1′κ2N1:N5], [Cu2(C19H20N2O2)(C2N3)2]n, has been synthesized and characterized by CHN elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis and X‐ray single‐crystal diffraction analysis. Structural studies show that the CuII centres in the dimeric asymmetric unit adopt distorted square‐pyramidal geometries, as confirmed by the Addison parameter (τ) values. The chelating characteristics of the L‐DM2− ligand results in the formation of a CuII dimer with a double phenolate bridge in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, the dimeric units are further linked to adjacent dimeric units through μ1,5‐dca bridges to produce one‐dimensional polymeric chains.  相似文献

Coordination polymers constructed from metal ions and organic ligands have attracted considerable attention owing to their diverse structural topologies and potential applications. Ligands containing carboxylate groups are among the most extensively studied because of their versatile coordination modes. Reactions of benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylic acid (H2BDC) and pyridine (py) with ZnII or CoII yielded two new coordination polymers, namely, poly[(μ4‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ4O:O′:O′′:O′′′)(pyridine‐κN)zinc(II)], [Zn(C8H4O2)(C5H5N)]n, (I), and catena‐poly[aqua(μ3‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ3O:O′:O′′)bis(pyridine‐κN)cobalt(II)], [Co(C8H4O2)(C5H5N)2(H2O)]n, (II). In compound (I), the ZnII cation is five‐coordinated by four carboxylate O atoms from four BDC2− ligands and one pyridine N atom in a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination geometry. Four carboxylate groups bridge two ZnII ions to form centrosymmetric paddle‐wheel‐like Zn22‐COO)4 units, which are linked by the benzene rings of the BDC2− ligands to generate a two‐dimensional layered structure. The two‐dimensional layer is extended into a three‐dimensional supramolecular structure with the help of π–π stacking interactions between the aromatic rings. Compound (II) has a one‐dimensional double‐chain structure based on Co22‐COO)2 units. The CoII cations are bridged by BDC2− ligands and are octahedrally coordinated by three carboxylate O atoms from three BDC2− ligands, one water O atom and two pyridine N atoms. Interchain O—H…O hydrogen‐bonding interactions link these chains to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture.  相似文献

In the linear coordination polymer catena‐poly[[[aqua(1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)copper(II)]‐μ‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐κ4O2:O2′,N,O6‐[(nitrato‐κ2O,O′)bismuth(III)]‐μ‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐κ4O2,N,O6:O6′] dihydrate], {[BiIIICuII(C7H3NO4)2(NO3)(C12H8N2)(H2O)]·2H2O}n, the BiIII cation is O,N,O′‐chelated by the two pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate ligands and O,O′‐chelated by the nitrate anion, the nine coordinating atoms conferring a tricapped trigonal prismatic environment on the metal centre. Each pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate ligand uses one of its carboxylate O atoms to bind to an aqua(1,10‐phenanthroline)copper(II) unit, the Cu—O dative bonds giving rise to the formation of a ribbon motif. The CuII cation exhibits a square‐pyramidal geometry. The ribbon motif propagates along the shortest axis of the triclinic unit cell and the solvent water molecules are hydrogen bonded to the same ribbon.  相似文献

The title salt, catena‐poly[trimethylsulfonium [μ2‐chlorido‐di‐μ2‐thiocyanato‐cadmate(II)]] {(C3H9S)[CdCl(NCS)2]}n, consists of trimethylsulfonium cations sandwiched between layers of a two‐dimensional polyanion. The CdII centre displays a distorted octahedral environment coordinated by two bridging Cl atoms, two thiocyanate N atoms and two thiocyanate S atoms. The thiocyanate groups adopt the μ‐1,3‐coordination mode and bridge the CdII centres into a one‐dimensional zigzag chain extended along the [110] direction. The CdII centres of the zigzag chains are crosslinked by bridging Cl atoms, forming a two‐dimensional polyanion. The two‐dimensional anions are linked to layers of trimethylsulfonium cations by weak intermolecular C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming the three‐dimensional structure.  相似文献

A new cadmium–thiocyanate complex, poly[4‐(dimethylamino)pyridin‐1‐ium [di‐μ‐thiocyanato‐κ2N:S2S:N‐thiocyanato‐κN‐cadmium(II)]], {(C7H11N2)[Cd(NCS)3]}n, was synthesized by the reaction of cadmium thiocyanate and 4‐(dimethylamino)pyridine hydrochloride in aqueous solution. In the crystal structure, each CdII ion is square‐pyramidally coordinated by three N and two S atoms from five different thiocyanate ligands, four of which are bridging. The thiocyanate ligands play different roles in the build up of the structure; one role results in the formation of [Cd2(NCS)2] building blocks, while the other links the building blocks and cations via N—H...S hydrogen bonds. The N—H...S hydrogen bonds and weak π–π stacking interactions are involved in the formation of both a two‐dimensional network structure and the supramolecular network.  相似文献

The one‐dimensional coordination polymer catena‐poly[diaqua(sulfato‐κO)copper(II)]‐μ2‐glycine‐κ2O:O′], [Cu(SO4)(C2H5NO2)(H2O)2]n, (I), was synthesized by slow evaporation under vacuum of a saturated aqueous equimolar mixture of copper(II) sulfate and glycine. On heating the same blue crystal of this complex to 435 K in an oven, its aspect changed to a very pale blue and crystal structure analysis indicated that it had transformed into the two‐dimensional coordination polymer poly[(μ2‐glycine‐κ2O:O′)(μ4‐sulfato‐κ4O:O′:O′′:O′′)copper(II)], [Cu(SO4)(C2H5NO2)]n, (II). In (I), the CuII cation has a pentacoordinate square‐pyramidal coordination environment. It is coordinated by two water molecules and two O atoms of bridging glycine carboxylate groups in the basal plane, and by a sulfate O atom in the apical position. In complex (II), the CuII cation has an octahedral coordination environment. It is coordinated by four sulfate O atoms, one of which bridges two CuII cations, and two O atoms of bridging glycine carboxylate groups. In the crystal structure of (I), the one‐dimensional polymers, extending along [001], are linked via N—H...O, O—H...O and bifurcated N—H...O,O hydrogen bonds, forming a three‐dimensional framework. In the crystal structure of (II), the two‐dimensional networks are linked via bifurcated N—H...O,O hydrogen bonds involving the sulfate O atoms, forming a three‐dimensional framework. In the crystal structures of both compounds, there are C—H...O hydrogen bonds present, which reinforce the three‐dimensional frameworks.  相似文献

In poly[[μ3‐2,2′‐(disulfanediyl)dibenzoato‐κ5O:O,O′:O′′,O′′′](1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)cadmium(II)], [Cd(C14H8O4S2)(C12H8N2)]n, the asymmetric unit contains one CdII cation, one 2,2′‐(disulfanediyl)dibenzoate anion (denoted dtdb2−) and one 1,10‐phenanthroline ligand (denoted phen). Each CdII centre is seven‐coordinated by five O atoms of bridging/chelating carboxylate groups from three dtdb2− ligands and by two N atoms from one phen ligand, forming a distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal geometry. The CdII cations are bridged by dtdb2− anions to give a two‐dimensional (4,4) layer. The layers are stacked to generate a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture via a combination of aromatic C—H...π and π–π interactions. The thermogravimetric and luminescence properties of this compound were also investigated.  相似文献

In the title compound, poly[[(2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ2N,N′)manganese(II)]‐μ3N‐tosyl‐l ‐glutamato‐κ4O,O′:O′′:O′′′], [Mn(tsgluo)(bipy)]n, where tsgluo is N‐tosyl‐l ‐glutamate (C12H13NO6S) and bipy is 2,2′‐bipyridine (C10H8N2), the Mn atoms are octahedrally coordinated by two N atoms of one bipy ligand and by four O atoms of three tsgluo2− anions. The γ‐carboxyl group coordinates to the MnII atom in a chelating mode, while the α‐carboxyl group coordinates in a bidentate–bridging mode. The complex displays a one‐dimensional double‐chain structure.  相似文献

A potentially pentadentate hydrazone ligand, N′‐[1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]nicotinohydrazide (HL), was prepared from the condensation reaction of nicotinohydrazide and acetylpyrazine. Reactions of HL with MnCl2, Mn(CH3COO)2 and Cd(CH3COO)2 afforded three metal complexes, namely dichlorido{N′‐[1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl‐κN1)ethylidene]nicotinohydrazide‐κ2N′,O}manganese(II), [MnCl2(C12H11N5O)], (I), bis{N′‐[1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl‐κN1)ethylidene]nicotinohydrazidato‐κ2N′,O]manganese(II), [Mn(C12H10N5O)2], (II), and poly[[(acetato‐κ2O,O′){μ3N′‐[1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl‐κ2N1:N4)ethylidene]nicotinohydrazidato‐κ3N′,O:N1}cadmium(II)] chloroform disolvate], {[Cd(C12H10N5O)(CH3COO)]·2CHCl3}n, (III), respectively. Complex (I) has a mononuclear structure, the MnII centre adopting a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination. Complex (II) also has a mononuclear structure, with the MnII centre occupying a special position (C2 symmetry) and adopting a distorted octahedral coordination environment, which is defined by two O atoms and four N atoms from two N′‐[1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]nicotinohydrazidate (L) ligands related via a crystallographic twofold axis. Complex (III) features a unique three‐dimensional network with rectangular channels, and the L ligand also serves as a counter‐anion. The coordination geometry of the CdII centre is pentagonal bipyramidal. This study demonstrates that HL, which can act as either a neutral or a mono‐anionic ligand, is useful in the construction of interesting metal–organic compounds.  相似文献
