Zur Chemie der Bor—Phosphor-Verbindungen

Reaction of BCl₃ with 3 moles of LiPEt₂(1) leads to [B(PEt₂)₃]₂ [1]; reaction with 4 moles of LiPEt₃ yields LiB(PEt₂)₄ [2]. (2) reacts with BCl₃ to [1] and LiCl. In contrast to (H₂AlPEt₂)₃. (H₂BPEt₂)₃ [3] is stable against LiPEt₂ and does not produce the boron compound analogous to LiAlH₂(PEt₂)₂ [4]. This compound cannot be obtained, too, from the reaction of H₂BCl · O(C₂H₅)₂ with LiPEt₂ being in excess (here results among other compounds [3]), while H₂AlCl reacts to [4] under the same conditions. LiPEt₂ yields LiH₃BPEt₂BH₃ with B₂H₆.
