We report a trinuclear Co(II) complex containing bridging dicyanamides and a tris-chelated HAT, which possesses approximately 37% void space. The magnetic exchange pathways appear in the structure as a corner sharing tetrahedral network. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c [a = 13.655(3) A, b = 15.189(3) A, c = 22.367(4) A, beta = 114.100(2) degrees, V = 4234.5(14) A(3), Z = 4, R(F(o)) = 0.0823]. The magnetic data were fit to an S = 3/2 model for systems dominated by zero-field splitting effects with g = 2.01 and D = 38.9 cm(-1).  相似文献

Doubly bridged mu-alkoxo-mu-X (X = pyrazolato or acetato) dinuclear MnIII complexes of 2-hydroxy-N-{2-hydroxy-3-[(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino]propyl}benzamide) (H5L1) and 2-hydroxy-N-{2-hydroxy-4-[(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino]butyl}benzamide (H5L2), [Mn2(L)(pz)(MeOH)4].xMeOH (1, L = L1, x = 0.5; 2, L = L2, x = 0; Hpz = pyrazole) and [Mn2(L1)(OAc)(MeOH)4] (3), have been prepared, and their structure and magnetic properties have been studied. The X-ray diffraction analysis of 1 (C24.5H34Mn2N4O9.5, triclinic, P, a = 12.2050(7) A, b = 12.7360(8) A, c = 19.2780(10) A, alpha = 99.735(5) degrees , beta = 96.003(4) degrees , gamma = 101.221(5) degrees , V = 2867.6(3) A3, Z = 4), 2 (C25H34Mn2N4O9, triclinic, P, a = 9.4560(5) A, b = 11.0112(5) A, c = 13.8831(6) A, alpha = 90.821(4) degrees , beta = 92.597(4) degrees , gamma = 93.403(4) degrees , V = 1441.29(12) A3, Z = 2), and 3 (C23H32Mn2N2O11, triclinic, P, a = 10.511(5) A, b = 11.713(5) A, c = 13.135(5) A, alpha = 64.401(5) degrees , beta = 74.000(5) degrees , gamma = 66.774(5) degrees , V = 1329.3(10) A3, Z = 2) revealed that all complexes consist of dinuclear units which are further extended into 1D (1 and 3) and 2D (2) supramolecular networks via hydrogen-bonding interactions. Magnetic susceptibility data evidence antiferromagnetic interactions for all three complexes: J = -3.6 cm-1, D approximately 0 cm-1, g = 1.93 (1); J = -2.7 cm-1, D = 0.8 cm-1, g = 1.93 (2); J = -4.9 cm-1, D = 3.8 cm-1, g = 1.95 (3).  相似文献

A series of diradical containing salts CxF2x(CNSSS)2(**2+0(AsF6-)2 {x = 2, 1[AsF6]2; x = 3, 3[AsF6]2; x = 4, 2[AsF6]2} have been prepared. 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2 were fully characterized by X-ray, variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility, and solid-state EPR measurements, further allowing us to extend the number of examples of the family of rare 7pi RCNSSS(*+) radical cations. 1[AsF6]2: a = 6.5314(7) A, b = 7.5658(9) A, c = 9.6048(11) A, alpha = 100.962(2) degrees , beta = 96.885(2) degrees , gamma = 107.436(2) degrees , triclinic, space group P, Z = 1, T = 173 K. 2[AsF6]2: a = 10.6398(16) A, b = 7.9680(11) A, c = 12.7468(19) A, beta = 99.758(2) degrees , monoclinic, space group P21/c, Z = 2, T = 173 K. In the solid-state, CxF2x(CNSSS)2(**2+) (x = 2, 4) formed one-dimensional polymeric chains of dications containing discrete centrosymmetric radical pairs in which radicals were linked by four centered two-electron pi*-pi* bonds [12+, d(S...S) = 3.455(1) A; 22+, d(S...S) = 3.306(2) A]. The exchange interactions in these bonds were determined to be -500 +/- 30 and -900 +/- 90 cm-1, by variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements, respectively, providing rare experimental data on the singlet-triplet gaps in the field of thiazyl radicals. For 2[AsF6]2, the thermally excited triplet state was unambiguously characterized by EPR techniques [/D/ = 0.0254(8) cm(-1), /E/ = 0.0013(8) cm(-1)]. These experimental data implied a weakly associated nature of the radical moieties contained in the solids 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2. Computational analysis of the dimerization process is presented, and we show that the 2c 4 electron pi*-pi* bonds in 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2 have ca. 50% and 40% diradical character, respectively. In contrast, 3[AsF6]2.SO2, containing diradical C3F6(CNSSS)2(**2+) with an odd number of CF2 spacers, showed magnetic behavior that was consistent with the presence of monomeric radical centers in the solid state.  相似文献

The new metal-metal bonded diruthenium(II,III) compounds [Ru2(O2CCH3)4(mu-L)]infinity (L = N(CN)2-, 1; C(CN)3-, 2) and [[Ru2(O2CCH3)2(mhp)2]2(mu-DM-Dicyd)] (3) (mhp = 2-oxy-6-methylpyridinate, DM-Dicyd = 1,4-dicyanamido-2,5-dimethylbenzene dianion) have been synthesized and fully characterized. Compounds 1 and 2 were synthesized by the reaction of [Ru2(O2CCH3)4(NCCH3)2](BF4) with NaN(CN)2 and KC(CN)3, respectively. The "dimer-of-dimers", 3, was synthesized by a 2:1 reaction of [Ru2(O2CCH3)2(mhp)2(MeOH)](BF4) with [As(Ph)4]2[DM-Dicyd]. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/m with a = 10.174(2) A, b = 13.016(3) A, c = 7.0750(14) A, beta = 101.83(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Fdd2 with a = 29.679(6) A, b = 31.409(6) A, c = 7.3660(15) A, V = 6866(2) A3, and Z = 16. In compound 1, dicyanamide anions (N(CN)2-) bridge the [Ru2(O2CCH3)4]+ units in an end-to-end bridging mode, thereby forming an alternating one-dimensional chain. In compound 2, two cyano groups of tricyanomethanide anion (C(CN)3-) are coordinated to independent [Ru2(O2CCH3)4]+ units to give a chain similar to that found in 1. The Ru-Ru bond distances in 1 and 2 are 2.2788(14) and 2.2756(5) A, respectively, which are typical values for Ru2(O2CR)4Cl and [Ru2(O2CR)4]+ compounds. The Ru-N distances are 2.257(8) A in 1 and 2.259(4) and 2.283(4) A in 2. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibilities of compounds 1-3 reveals a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between Ru2 units (S = 3/2) through each polycyano anionic linker: g = 2.16, zJ = -0.33 cm(-1), D = 63.3 cm(-1) for 1; g = 2.15, zJ = -0.22 cm(-1), D = 58.0 cm(-1) for 2; and g = 2.10, zJ = -0.90 cm(-1), D = 75.0 cm(-1) for 3.  相似文献

Dinuclear (V(IV)V(V)) oxophenoxovanadates of general formula [V2O3L] have been synthesized in excellent yields by reacting bis(acetylacetonato)oxovanadium(IV) with H3L in a 2:1 ratio in acetone under an N2 atmosphere. Here L3- is the deprotonated form of 2,6-bis[{{(2-hydroxybenzyl)(N',N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}amino}methyl]-4-methylphenol (H3L1), 2,6-bis[{{(5-methyl-2-hydroxybenzyl)(N',N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}amino}methyl]-4-methylphenol (H3L2), 2,6-bis[{{(5-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzyl)(N',N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}amino}methyl]-4-methylphenol (H3L3), 2,6-bis[{{(5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzyl)(N',N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}amino}methyl]-4-methylphenol(H3L4), 2,6-bis[{{(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzyl)(N'N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}amino}methyl]-4-methylphenol (H3L5), or 2,6-bis[{{(5-methoxy-2-hydroxybenzyl)(N'N'-(dimethylamino)ethyl)}methyl]-4-methylphenol (H3L6). In [V2O3L1], both the metal atoms have distorted octahedral geometry. The relative disposition of two terminal V=O groups in the complex is essentially cis. The O=V...V=O torsion angle is 24.6(2) degrees . The V-O(oxo)-V and V-O(phenoxo)-V angles are 117.5(4) and 93.4(3) degrees , respectively. The V...V bond distance is 3.173(5) A. X-ray crystallography, IR, UV-vis, and 1H and 51V NMR measurements show that the mixed-valence complexes contain two indistinguishable vanadium atoms (type III). The thermal ellipsoids of O2, O4, C10, C14, and C15 also suggests a type III complex in the solid state. EPR spectra of solid complexes at 77 K display a single line indicating the localization of the odd electron (3d(xy)1). Valence localization at 77 K is also consistent with the 51V hyperfine structure of the axial EPR spectra (3d(xy)1 ground state) of the complexes in frozen (77 K) dichloromethane solution: S = 1/2, g(parallel) approximately 1.94, g(perpendicular) approximately 1.98, A(parallel) approximately 166 x 10(-4) cm(-1), and A(perpendicular) approximately 68 x 10(-4) cm(-1). In contrast isotropic room-temperature solution spectra of the family have 15 hyperfine lines (g(iso) approximately 1.974 and A(iso) approximately 50 x 10(-4) cm(-1)) revealing that the unpaired electron is delocalized between the metal centers. Crystal data for the [V2O3L1].CH2Cl2 complex are as follows: chemical formula, C32H43O6N4Cl2V2; crystal system, monoclinic; space group, C2/c; a = 18.461(4), b = 17.230(3), c = 13.700(3) A; beta = 117.88(3) degrees ; Z = 8.  相似文献

The tetranuclear complexes [Fe(4)(pypentO)(pym)(3)(Oac)(NCS)(3)] x 1.5EtOH (1), [Fe(4)(pypentO)(pym)(Oac)(2)(NCS)(2)(MeO)(2)(H(2)O)] x H(2)O (2), [Fe(2)(pypentO)(NCO)(3)](2) (3), and [Fe(2)(pypentO)(N(3))(3)](2) (4) have been prepared, and their structure and magnetic properties have been studied (pypentOH = 1,5-bis[(2-pyridylmethyl)amino]pentan-3-ol, pymH = 2-pyridylmethanol). The X-ray diffraction analysis of 1 (C(43)H(53)N(10)O(7.5)S(3)Fe(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 11.6153(17) A, b = 34.391(17) A, c = 14.2150(18) A, beta = 110.88(5) degrees, V = 5305(3) A(3), Z = 4) and 2 (C(31)H(45)N(7)O(10)S(2)Fe(4), monoclinic, C2/c, a = 19.9165(17) A, b = 21.1001(12) A, c = 21.2617(19) A, beta = 104.441(10) degrees, V = 8652.7(12) A(3), Z = 8) showed a Fe(4)O(4) cubane-like arrangement of four iron(II) atoms, four mu(3)-O bridging ligands, one (1) or two (2) syn-syn bridging acetates. The X-ray diffraction analysis of 3 (C(40)H(46)N(14)O(8)Fe(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 11.7633(18) A, b = 18.234(3) A, c = 10.4792(16) A, beta = 99.359(18) degrees, V = 2217.7(6) A(3), Z = 2) and 4 (C(34)H(46)N(26)O(2)Fe(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/c, V = 4412.4(10) A(3), a = 23.534(3) A, b = 18.046(2) A, c = 10.4865(16) A, beta = 97.80(2) degrees, Z = 4) showed a zigzag bis-dinuclear arrangement of four iron(II) cations, two mu(2)-O bridging pypentO ligands, four mu(2)-N-cyanato bridging ligands (3) or four end-on azido bridging ligands (4): they are the first examples of cyanato and azido bridged discrete polynuclear ferrous compounds, respectively. The M?ssbauer spectra of 1 are consistent with four different high-spin iron(II) sites in the Fe(4)O(4) cubane-type structure. The M?ssbauer spectra of 3 are consistent with two high-spin iron(II) sites (N(5)O and N(4)O). Below 190 K, the M?ssbauer spectra of 4 are consistent with one N(5)O and two N(4)O high-spin iron(II) sites. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility was fitted with J(1) approximately 0 cm(-1), J(2) = -1.3 cm(-1), J(3) = 4.6 cm(-1), D = 6.4 cm(-1), and g = 2.21 for 1; J(1) = 2.6 cm(-1), J(2) = 2.5 cm(-1), J(3) = - 5.6 cm(-1), D = 4.5 cm(-1), and g = 2.09 for 2; J(1) = 1.5 cm(-1), J(2) = 0.2 cm(-1), D = - 5.6 cm(-1), D' = 4.5 cm(-1), and g = 2.14 for 3; and J(1) = - 2.6 cm(-1), J(2) = 0.8 cm(-1), D= 6.3 cm(-1), D' = 1.6 cm(-1), and g = 2.18 for 4. The differences in sign among the J(1), J(2), and J(3) super-exchange interactions indicate that the faces including only mu(3)-OR bridges exhibit ferromagnetic interactions. The nature of the ground state in 1-3 is confirmed by simulation of the magnetization curves at 2 and 5 K. In the bis-dinuclear iron(II) compounds 3 and 4, the J(2) interaction resulting from the bridging of two Fe(2)(pypentO)X(3) units through two pseudo-halide anions is ferromagnetic in 3 (X = mu(2)-N-cyanato) and may be either ferro- or antiferromagnetic in 4 (X = end-on azido). The J(1) interaction through the central O(alkoxo) and pseudo-halide bridges inside the dinuclear units is ferromagnetic in 3 (X = mu(2)-N-cyanato) and antiferromagnetic in 4 (X = end-on azido). In agreement with the symmetry of the two Fe(II) sites in complexes 3 and 4, D (pentacoordinated sites) is larger than D' (octahedral sites).  相似文献

A series of linear-type Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complexes composed of C(2)-cis(S)-[Co(aet)(2)(en)](+) (aet = 2-aminoethanethiolate) and/or Lambda(D)-trans(N)-[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)](-) (D-pen = D-penicillaminate) were newly prepared, and their chiral behavior, which is markedly different from that of the corresponding Co(III)Pd(II)Co(III) complexes, is reported. The 1:1 reaction of an S-bridged Co(III)Ni(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex, [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)]Cl(4), with K(2)[PtCl(4)] in water gave an S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex, [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)]Cl(4) ([1]Cl(4)), while the corresponding 1:2 reaction produced an S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II) dinuclear complex, [PtCl(2)[Co(aet)(2)(en)]]Cl ([2]Cl). Complex [1](4+) formed both racemic (DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda) and meso (DeltaLambda) forms, which were separated and optically resolved by cation-exchange column chromatography. An optically active S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex having the pseudo LambdaLambda configuration, Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[Pt[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)](2)](0) (Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[3]), was also prepared by reacting Lambda(D)-trans(N)-K[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)] with K(2)[PtCl(4)] in a ratio of 2:1 in water. Treatment of the racemic Delta/Lambda-[2]Cl with Lambda(D)-trans(N)-K[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)] in a ratio of 1:1 in water led to the formation of LambdaLambda(D)- and DeltaLambda(D)-[Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)]](2+) (LambdaLambda(D)- and DeltaLambda(D)-[4](2+)) and DeltaDelta(D)-[Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(D-pen-N,S)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]](2+) (DeltaDelta(D)-[4'](2+)), besides trace amounts of Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[3] and DeltaDelta- and DeltaLambda-[1](4+). These Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) complexes were characterized on the basis of electronic absorption, CD, and NMR spectra, along with single-crystal X-ray analyses for DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda-[1]Cl(4), DeltaLambda-[1]Cl(4), and DeltaLambda(D)-[4]Cl(2). Crystal data: DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda-[1]Cl(4).6H(2)O, monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 14.983(3) A, b = 19.857(4) A, c = 12.949(3) A, beta = 113.51(2) degrees, V = 3532(1) A(3), Z = 4; DeltaLambda-[1]Cl(4).3H(2)O, orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 14.872(3) A, b = 14.533(3) A, c = 14.347(2) A, V = 3100(1) A(3), Z = 4; DeltaLambda(D)-[4]Cl(2).6H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1) with a = 7.3836(2) A, b = 20.214(1) A, c = 10.622(2) A, beta = 91.45(1) degrees V = 1682.0(4) A(3), Z = 2.  相似文献

We have designed and synthesized a new Cu2Gd heterotrinuclear complex, [LCu2Gd(OAc)3] (1), where H4L is a bis(salen)-type tetraoxime ligand useful in the synthesis of discrete (3d)2(4f) complexes. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with unit cell parameters a = 12.442(4) A, b = 13.397(3) A, c = 13.966(4) A, alpha = 77.052(8) degrees, beta = 88.656(10) degrees, gamma = 77.761(8) degrees, and Z = 2. In the crystal structure of 1, Cu-Gd distances are 3.3-3.5 A, whereas the two Cu atoms are separated by 6.08 A. The corresponding dinuclear CuGd complexes, 2 and 3, with mono(salen)-type chelate 3-MeOsalamo were also synthesized. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with unit cell parameters a = 13.869(8) A, b = 13.688(7) A, c = 18.728(10) A, beta = 92.861(8) degrees, and Z = 4, and complex 3 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with unit cell parameters a = 12.319(4) A, b = 13.989(4) A, c = 16.774(5) A, alpha = 64.699(14) degrees, beta = 66.672(13) degrees, gamma = 76.891(17) degrees, and Z = 4. Interaction between Cu(II) and Gd(III) in the dinuclear complexes 2 and 3 is ferromagnetic (J = 4.5 and 7.6 cm(-1), respectively, using spin Hamiltonian H = -JS(Cu) x S(Gd)) as observed in the previously prepared [LCuGdX3] complexes, where L is a salen-type chelate. Magnetic data for the Cu2Gd trinuclear complex can be reasonably interpreted with the use of a spin Hamiltonian H = -J(CuGd)S(Cu1) x S(Gd) - J(CuGd)S(Cu2) x S(Gd) - J(CuCu)S(Cu1) x S(Cu2) with J(CuGd) = 5.0 cm(-1) and J(CuCu) = 0 cm(-1). The S = 9/2 ground state resulted from the ferromagnetic interaction among the Cu(II)-Gd(III)-Cu(II) triad was also supported by the saturation magnetization at 1.8 K.  相似文献

The alkali dicyanamides M[N(CN)2] (M=K, Rb) were synthesized through ion exchange, and the corresponding tricyanomelaminates M3[C6N9] were obtained by heating the respective dicyanamides. The thermal behavior of the dicyanamides and their reaction to form the tricyanomelaminates were investigated by temperature-dependent X-ray powder diffractometry and thermoanalytical measurements. Potassium dicyanamide K[N(CN)2] was found to undergo four phase transitions: At 136 degrees C the low-temperature modification alpha-K[N(CN)2] transforms to beta-K[N(CN)2], and at 187degrees C the latter transforms to the high-temperature modification gamma-K[N(CN)2], which melts at 232 degrees C. Above 310 degrees C the dicyanamide ions [N(CN)2]- trimerize and the resulting tricyanomelaminate K3[C6N9] solidifies. Two modifications of rubidium dicyanamide have been identified: Even at -25 degrees C, the a form slowly transforms to beta-Rb[N(CN)2] within weeks. Rb[N(CN)2] has a melting point of 190 degrees C. Above 260 degrees C the dicyanamide ions [N(CN)2]- of the rubidium salt trimerize in the melt and the tricyanomelaminate Rb3[C6N9] solidifies. The crystal structures of all phases were determined by powder diffraction methods and were refined by the Rietveld method. alpha-K[N(CN)2] (Pbcm, a = 836.52(1), b = 46.90(1), c =7 21.27(1) pm, Z = 4), gamma-K[N(CN)2] (Pnma, a = 855.40(3), b = 387.80(1), 1252.73(4) pm, Z = 4), and Rb[N(CN)2] (C2/c, a = 1381.56(2), b = 1000.02(1), c = 1443.28(2) pm, 116.8963(6) degrees, Z = 16) represent new structure types. The crystal structure of beta-K[N(CN)2] (P2(1/n), a = -726.92(1), b 1596.34(2), c = 387.037(5) pm, 111.8782(6) degrees, Z = 4) is similar but not isotypic to the structure of alpha Na[N(CN)2]. alpha-Rb[N(CN)2] (Pbcm, a = 856.09(1), b = 661.711(7), c = 765.067(9) pm, Z = 4) is isotypic with alpha-K[N(CN)2]. The alkali dicyanamides contain the bent planar anion [N(CN)2]- of approximate symmetry C2, (average bond lengths: C-N(bridge) 133, C-N(term) 113 pm; average angles N-C-N 170 degrees, C-N-C 120 degrees). K3[C6N9] (P2(1/c), a = 373.82(1), b = 1192.48(5), c = 2500.4(1) pm, beta = 101.406(3) degrees, Z = 4) and Rb,[C6N9] (P2(1/c), a = 389.93(2), b = 1226.06(6), c = 2547.5(1) pm, 98.741(5) degrees, Z=4) are isotypic and they contain the planar cyclic anion [C6N9]3-. Although structurally related, Na3[C6N9] is not isotypic with the tricyanomelaminates M3[C6N9] (M = K, Rb).  相似文献

The compounds Cp2Ln[N(QPPh2)2] (Ln = La (1), Gd (2), Er (3), or Yb (4) for Q = Se, Ln = Yb (5) for Q = S) have been synthesized from the corresponding rare-earth tris(cyclopentadienyl) compound and H[N(QPPh2)2]. The structures of compounds 1, 2, 3, and 5, as determined by X-ray crystallography, consist of a Cp2Ln fragment, coordinated eta 3 through two chalcogen atoms and an N atom of the imidodiphosphinochalcogenido ligand [N(QPPh2)2]-. In compound 4, the Cp2Yb moiety is coordinated eta 2 through the two Se atoms of the [N(SePPh2)2]-ligand. 31P and 77Se (for 1) NMR spectroscopies lend insight into the solution nature of these species. The long, rigid ligands 1,4-bis[(3-pyridyl)ethynyl]benzene (L1) and 1,4-bis[(4-pyridyl)ethynyl]benzene (L2) were used in the synthesis of 10 new organic-inorganic coordination frameworks, each of them adopting different structural motifs. Synthesis, single-crystal X-ray structure determination, and spectroscopic and thermogravimetric analyses are presented. The reactions between M(NO3)2 x xH2O; M = Cd(II), Cu(II), and Co(II); x = 3-6 and Cu(hfac)2 x H2O [hfac = bis(hexafluoroacetylacetonato)] with L1 afforded the following one-dimensional zigzag chain structures: [Cd(C20H12N2)0.5(NO3)(CH3OH)]n (1, monoclinic, C2/c; a = 7.586(1) A, b = 23.222(1) A, c = 13.572(1) A, beta = 92.824(1), Z = 4); [{Cu(C20H12N2)(NO3)2(CH3OH)} x CH3OH]n (2, orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1); a = 8.589(1) A, b = 15.766(1) A, c = 17.501(1) A, Z = 4); [Co(C20H12N2)2(NO3)2(H2O)2] (5, triclinic, P1; a = 7.493(1) A, b = 8.948(1) A, c = 14.854(1) A, alpha = 100.427(1), beta = 97.324(1), gamma = 110.901(1), Z = 1); [Cu(C20H12N2)(hfac)2]n (4, monoclinic, C2/c, a = 18.828(1) A, b = 14.671(1) A, c = 13.427(1) A, beta = 90.447(1) degrees, Z = 4). Moreover, the minority phase compound formed from Cu(NO3)2 x 3H2O and L1 yielded a metallocyclic chain structure, [Cu(C20H12N2)(NO3)]n (3, triclinic, P; a = 8.728(1) A, b = 10.018(1) A, c = 11.893(1) A, alpha = 109.991(1), beta = 97.109(1), gamma = 115.542(1), Z = 1). In addition to the dinuclear coordination complex 5, all other polymeric structures (1-4) from L1 are composed of interpenetrating 2D and 3D cross-linked zigzag chains via hydrogen-bonding interactions. The reactions between M(NO3)2 x xH2O; M = Cd(II), Cu(II), and Co(II); x = 3-6 and Cu(hfac)2 x H2O [hfac = bis(hexafluoroacetylacetonato)] and L2 were dependent on the nature of the metal center and resulted in the formation of four different interpenetrating and noninterpenetrating compounds (6-10): [Co(C20H12N2)1.5(NO3)2]n (6, triclinic, P; a = 14.172(1) A, b = 15.795(1) A, c = 18.072(1) A, alpha = 115.380(1), beta = 101.319(1), gamma = 93.427(2), Z = 4), which consists of T-shaped building blocks assembled into three-dimensional interpenetrating polycatenated ladders; [Cd(C20H12N2)2(NO3)2]n (7, monoclinic, I2/a; a = 11.371(1) A, b = 20.311(2) A, c = 15.240(2) A, beta = 100.201(2) degrees, Z = 4), which adopts a two-dimensional noninterpenetrating square-grid motif; [Cu(C20H12N2)(hfac)2]n (8, monoclinic, I2/a; a = 11.371(1) A, b = 20.311(2) A, c = 15.240(2) A, beta = 100.201(2) degrees, Z = 4), composed of three sets of distinct one-dimensional linear chains; [Cu(C20H12N2)(EtOH)(NO3)2] [Cu(C20H12N2)1.5(NO3)2] x 2EtOH (9, triclinic, P; a = 12.248(2) A, b = 13.711(3) A, c = 18.257(4) A, alpha = 108.078(4) degrees, beta = 97.890(4) degrees, gamma = 103.139(5) degrees, Z = 2) and [Cu(C20H12N2)(MeOH)(NO3)2] [Cu(C20H12N2)1.5(NO3)2] x 2MeOH (10, triclinic, P; a = 12.136(1) A, b = 13.738(2) A, c = 17.563(3) A, alpha = 107.663(3) degrees, beta = 94.805(4) degrees, gamma = 104.021(4) degrees, Z = 2). Both 9 and 10 stack into infinite interpenetrating ladders through bundles of infinite chains and are described in our preliminary communication.  相似文献

The nine-membered [-Cu(II)-N-N-](3) ring of trimeric copper-pyrazolato complexes provides a sturdy framework on which water is twice deprotonated in consecutive steps, forming mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O species. In the presence of excess chlorides the mu(3)-O(H) ligand is replaced by two mu(3)-Cl ions. The interconversion of mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O and the exchange of mu(3)-O(H) and mu(3)-Cl are reversible, and the three species involved have been structurally characterized: [PPN][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(thf)].CH(2)Cl(2) (1a), monoclinic P2(1)/n, a = 10.055(2) A, b = 35.428(5) A, c = 15.153(2) A, beta = 93.802(3) degrees, V = 5386(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (1b), triclinic P-1, a = 9.135(2) A, b = 13.631(2) A, c = 14.510(2) A, alpha = 67.393(2) degrees, beta = 87.979(2) degrees, gamma = 80.268(3) degrees, V = 1643.2(4) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-O)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (2), monoclinic P2/c, a = 12.807(2) A, b = 13.093(2) A, c = 23.139(4) A, beta = 105.391(3) degrees, V = 3741(1) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)].0.75H(2)O.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3a), triclinic P-1, a = 14.042(2) A, b = 23.978(4) A, c = 25.195(4) A, alpha = 76.796(3) degrees, beta = 79.506(3) degrees, gamma = 77.629(3) degrees, V = 7988(2) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (3b), monoclinic C2/c, a = 17.220(2) A, b = 15.606(2) A, c = 20.133(2) A, beta = 103.057(2) degrees, V = 5270(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Et(3)NH][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(pzH)] (4), triclinic P-1, a = 11.498(2) A, b = 11.499(2) A, c = 12.186(2) A, alpha = 66.475(3) degrees, beta = 64.279(3) degrees, gamma = 80.183(3) degrees, V = 1331.0(5) A(3), Z = 2. Two tetranuclear manganese(II) complexes [Mn(II)4(thiaS)2] (1) and [Mn(II)4(thiaSO)2] (2) have been synthesized under solvothermal conditions in methanol with p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene (thiaS) and p-tert-butylsulfinylthiacalix[4]arene (thiaSO). For both complexes, the structure has been established from single-crystal X-ray diffraction. [Mn4(thiaS)2].H2O (1) crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm (No. 71) space group with the following parameters: a = 18.213 (5) angstroms, b = 19.037 (5) angstroms, c = 29.159 (5) angstroms, V = 10110 (4) angstroms3, and Z = 4. [Mn4(thiaSO)2].H2O (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m (No. 12) space group with the following parameters: a = 33.046(1) angstroms, b = 19.5363 (8) angstroms, c = 15.7773 (9) angstroms, beta = 115.176 (2) degrees, V = 9218.3 (8) angstroms3, and Z = 4. The two complexes are neutral and are best described as manganese squares sandwiched between two thiacalixarene macrocycles. In both complexes, each manganese center is six-coordinated in a trigonal prismatic geometry with four phenoxo oxygen atoms plus two sulfur atoms for 1 or two oxygen atoms from SO groups for 2. The two tetranuclear complexes exhibit identical magnetic behaviors resulting from antiferromagnetic interactions between the four manganese centers. The simulation of the magnetic susceptibility was done considering a single exchange-coupling constant between the manganese(II) ions, J (H = -J(S1S2 + S2S3 + S3S4 + S1S4)). The best fits give the same result for the two complexes: g = 1.94 and J = -5.57 cm(-1).  相似文献
