The electrochemical behavior of L-tyrosine was investigated at a multi-wall carbon nanotubes modified glassy carbon electrode. L-tyrosine itself showed a poor electrochemical response at the bare glassy carbon electrode; however, a multi-wall carbon nanotubes film fabricated on the glassy carbon electrode can directly enhance the electrochemical signal of L-tyrosine when applying cyclic voltammetry and square wave stripping voltammetry without any mediator. Cyclic voltammetry was carried out to study the electrochemical oxidation mechanism of L-tyrosine, which shows a totally irreversible process and an oxidation potential of 671 mV at the modified electrode and 728 mV at the bare electrode, ΔEp = 57 mV. The anodic peak current linearly increases with the square root of scan rate in the low range, suggesting that the oxidation of L-tyrosine on the multi-wall carbon nanotubes modified electrode is a diffusion-controlled process. The square wave stripping voltammetry currents of L-tyrosine at the multi-wall carbon nanotubes modified electrodes increased linearly with the concentration in the range of 2.0 × 10−6–5.0 × 10−4 mol L−1. The detection limit was 4.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The method is simple, quick, sensitive and accurate.  相似文献

A new simple, selective and sensitive fluorescence quenching method was developed to determine cationic surfactants with the 9-anthracenecarboxylic acid (ACA). The fluorescence intensity of ACA was decreased by addition of trace amounts of cationic surfactants. Under optimum conditions, the ratio of fluorescence intensity in the absence and presence of cationic surfactants was proportional to the concentration of cationic surfactants over the range of 0.3–4.5 × 10−5 mol L−1 for cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and 0.4–6.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 for cetyl trimethyl-ammonium bromide (CTAB). The detection limits are 1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 for CPC and 1.2 × 10−6 mol L−1 for CTAB, respectively. Based on this approach, this paper presents a new quantitative method for cationic surfactants assay.  相似文献

The voltammetric behavior of uric acid was studied at a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) modified gold electrode. Uric acid can effectively accumulate at this electrode and produce an anodic peak at about 0.45 V (vs. SCE) in pH 5.0 sodium acetate buffer solutions (HAc-NaAc). The experimental parameters, such as solution pH, accumulation time, and amount of SWNT, were optimized for determination. Under the optimum conditions, the anodic peak current is linear to the uric acid concentration over the range of 1.0×10−7 M to 2.5×10−5 M with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The detection limit was 5.0×10−8 M for 60 s accumulation. The electrode could be easily regenerated and exhibited good stability. A 5.0×10−6 M uric acid solution was measured ten times using the same electrode, and the relative standard deviation of the peak current was 1.3%. This method was successfully applied to the determination of uric acid in human urine samples, and the recovery was 97–99%. The feasibility for simultaneous determination of xanthine, ascorbic acid and uric acid was discussed. These species did not interfere with each other in a certain concentration range. The influence of some surfactants on the anodic peak was also examined.  相似文献

A novel taurine modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by electropolymerization method. The electrochemical behaviors of epinephrine (EP) and dopamine (DA) at the modified electrode were studied by cyclic voltammetry. The modified electrode exhibited enhanced sensitivity and excellent electrochemical discrimination to DA and EP. The cathodic peaks of the two species were well-separated with a potential difference of about 390 mV, so the poly(taurine) modified electrode was used for simultaneous voltammetric measurement of EP and DA by differential pulse voltammetry. Under the optimum conditions, the cathodic peak currents were linear to concentrations of EP and DA in the range of 2.0 × 10−6 to 6.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 and 1.0 × 10−6 to 8.0 × 10−4 mol L−1, respectively. The detection limits for EP and DA were 3.0 × 10−7 and 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1, respectively. Because the oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) is an irreversible reaction at modified electrode, the interference of AA for determining EP and DA was eliminated. The modified electrode has been satisfactorily used for the simultaneous determination of EP and DA in pharmaceutical injections.  相似文献

Herein, a novel electrochemical method was developed for the determination of tryptophan based on the poly(4-aminobenzoic acid) film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The electrochemical behaviors of tryptophan at the modified electrode were investigated. It was found that the oxidation peak current of tryptophan at the modified GCE was greatly improved compared with that at the bare GCE. The effects of supporting electrolyte, pH value, scan rate, accumulation potential and time were examined. The oxidation peak current of tryptophan was proportional to its concentration over the range from 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1. The limit of detection was evaluated to be 2.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The proposed method was sensitive and simple. It was successfully employed to determine tryptophan in pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

A new method is developed for the catalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid at graphite zeolite-modified electrode, doped with copper(II) (Cu2+A/ZCME). Copper(II) exchanged in zeolite type A acts as catalyst to oxidize ascorbic acid. The modified electrode lowered the overpotential of the reaction by ∼400 mV. First, the electrochemical behavior of copper(II), incorporated in the zeolite type A modified electrode, was studied. The results illustrate that diffusion can control the copper(II)/copper(0) redox process at the Cu2+A/ZCME. Then, the behavior of electrocatalytic oxidation reaction for ascorbic acid was researched. The electrode was employed to study electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid, using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry as diagnostic techniques. The diffusion coefficient of ascorbic acid was equal to 1.028 × 10−5 cm2 s−1. A linear calibration graph was obtained over the ascorbic acid with a concentration range of 0.003-6.00 mmol L−1. The detection limit (DL) of ascorbic acid was estimated as 2.76 × 10−7 mol L−1. The relative standard deviations of 10 replicate measurements (performed on a single electrode at several ascorbic acid concentrations between 3.0 and 200 μmol L−1) were measured between 1.0 and 2.4%.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with electropolymerization of meso-tetrakis(2-aminophenyl)porphyrin (TAPP) in acetonitrile by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The voltammetric behavior of norepinephrine (NE) in the presence of excess ascorbic acid (AA) was investigated at the modified electrode by cyclic and square wave voltammetry (SWV) in phosphate buffer solution. The modified electrode gave higher selectivity and highly effective electroactivity to NE oxidation in voltammetric measurements of NE in the presence of AA and epinephrine. In pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution, the peak current increased linearly with the concentration of NE in two concentration ranges of 1.0×10−6 to 5.0×10−5 mol dm−3.  相似文献

The present paper describes to modify a double stranded DNA-octadecylamine (ODA) Langmuir-Blodgett film on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface to develop a voltammetric sensor for the detection of trace amounts of baicalein. The electrode was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Electrochemical behaviour of baicalein at the modified electrode had been investigated in pH 2.87 Britton-Robinson buffer solutions by CV and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Compared with bare GCE, the electrode presented an electrocatalytic redox for baicalein. Under the optimum conditions, the modified electrode showed a linear voltammetric response for the baicalein within a concentration range of 1.0 × 10−8-2.0 × 10−6 mol L−1, and a value of 6.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 was calculated for the detection limit. And the modified electrode exhibited an excellent immunity from epinephrine, dopamine, glucose and ascorbic acid interference. The method was also applied successfully to detect baicalein in the medicinal tablets and spiked human blood serum samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In the paper, a new kind of vitamin B12 (acquo-cobalamine) chemically modified electrode was fabricated and applied in capillary zone electrophoresis coupled with amperometric detection (CZE-AD) for simultaneous determination of six antioxidants in fruits and vegetables. The catalytic electrochemical properties of the chemically modified electrode could obviously enhance oxidation peak heights responses by about five times to glutathione, ascorbic acid, vanillic acid, chlorogenic acid, salicylic acid, and caffeic acid compared with common carbon disk electrode. Furthermore, the effects of working electrode potential, pH and concentration of running buffer, separation voltage and injection time on CZE-AD were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the six analytes could be completely separated and detected in a borate-phosphate buffer (pH 8.4) within 15 min. Their linear ranges were from 2.5 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 and the detection limits were as low as 10−8 mol L−1 magnitude (S/N = 3). The proposed method has been successfully employed to monitor the six analytes in practical samples with recoveries in the range 96.0-106.0% and RSDs less than 5.0%. Above results demonstrate that capillary zone electrophoresis coupled with electrochemical detection using vitamin B12 modified electrode as detector is of convenient preparation, high sensitivity, good repeatability, and could be used in the rapid determination of practical samples.  相似文献

A 3-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole (TA) self-assembled monolayer-modified gold electrode (TA SAM/Au) is characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, A.C. impedance, cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and chronocoulometry. The TA SAM/Au exhibited good promotion of the electrochemical oxidation of dopamine. Some electrochemical parameters of dopamine such as electron transfer number, exchange current density, standard heterogeneous rate constant, diffusion coefficient, etc., were measured by different electrochemical methods. The peak currents of dopamine were linearly dependent on its concentration in the range of 1.5 × 10−6–1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1, with a detection limit of 5.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The oxidative peak potentials of dopamine and ascorbic acid were well separated at about 190 ± 10 mV in pH 2.0 BR buffers at TA SAM/Au, the oxidation peak current increases approximately linearly with increasing concentration of both dopamine and ascorbic acid in the concentration range of 9.98 × 10−6–4.54 × 10−4 mol L−1. It can be used for simultaneous determination of dopamine and ascorbic acid.  相似文献

A poly-amidosulfonic acid and multi-wall carbon nanotubes composite (PASA/MWNTs) modified electrode has been constructed by electropolymerization on glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The electrochemical behaviors of hydroquinone (HQ) and catechol (CC) were investigated using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetries (DPVs) at the prepared electrode. Separation of the reductive peak potentials for HQ and CC was about 120 mV in pH 6.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS), which makes it suitable for simultaneous determination of these compounds. In the presence of 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 isomer, the reductive peak currents of DPV are proportional to the concentration of HQ in the range of 6.0 × 10−6 to 4.0 × 10−4 mol L−1, and to that of CC in the range of 6.0 × 10−6 to 7.0 × 10−4 mol L−1. When simultaneously changing the concentration of both HQ and CC, the linear concentration range of HQ (or CC) is 6.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 (or 6.0 × 10−6 to 1.8 × 10−4 mol L−1), and the corresponding detection limits are 1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1. The proposed method has been applied to simultaneous determination of HQ and catechol in water sample, and the results are satisfactory.  相似文献

In this paper a simple and highly sensitive electroanalytical method for the determination of caffeine content using 1,4-benzoquinone modified carbon paste electrode is presented. The method is based on suppression of 1,4-benzoquinone peak current on addition of caffeine. Square-wave and cyclic voltammetric techniques were utilised for the investigation. The 1,4-benzoquinone modified electrode exhibited a well-defined peak with reproducible peak current values for repetitive measurements; and showed a decrease in peak current value with an increase in caffeine content. The result revealed two linear range regions between 0 mmol L−1 and 0.5 mmol L−1 and 0.5 mmol L−1 and 8.0 mmol L−1, with detection limits of 0.3 μmol L−1 and 5.1 μmol L−1, respectively. The method was then successfully applied to the determination of caffeine content in coffee samples. The effects of pH, electrode composition, step potential, pulse amplitude and square-wave frequency on the voltammetric responses were also investigated.  相似文献

A biosensor based on the ionic liquid, 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate containing dispersed iridium nanoparticles (Ir-BMI.PF6) and polyphenol oxidase was constructed. This enzyme was obtained from the sugar apple (Annona squamosa), immobilized in chitosan ionically crosslinked with oxalate. The biosensor was used for determination of chlorogenic acid by square wave voltammetry. The polyphenol oxidase catalyzes the oxidation of chlorogenic acid to the corresponding o-quinone, which is electrochemically reduced back to this substance at +0.25 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Under optimized operational conditions the chlorogenic acid concentration was linear in the range of 3.48 × 10−6 to 4.95 × 10−5 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 9.15 × 10−7 mol L−1. The biosensor was applied in the determination of chlorogenic acid in organic and decaffeinated coffee and the results compared with those obtained using the capillary electrophoresis method. The recovery study for chlorogenic acid in these samples gave values of 93.2-105.7%.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviors of uric acid (UA) at the penicillamine (Pen) self-assembled monolayers modified gold electrode (Pen/Au) have been studied. The Pen/Au electrode is demonstrated to promote the electrochemical response of UA by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The diffusion coefficient D of UA is 6.97 × 10−6 cm2 s−1. In differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) measurements, the Pen/Au electrode can separate the UA and ascorbic acid (AA) oxidation potentials by about 120 mV and can be used for the selective determination of UA in the presence of AA. The detection limit was 1 × 10−6 mol L−1. The modified electrode shows excellent sensitivity, good selectivity and antifouling properties.  相似文献

This work demonstrates gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)/functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (f‐MWCNT) composite film modified gold electrode via covalent‐bonding interaction self‐assembly technique for simultaneous determination of salsolinol (Sal) and uric Acid (UA) in the presence of high concentration of ascorbic acid (AA). In pH 7.0 PBS, the composite film modified electrode exhibits excellent voltammetric response for Sal and UA, while AA shows no voltammetric response. The oxidation peak current is linearly increased with concentrations of Sal from 0.24–11.76 μmol L?1 and of UA from 3.36–96.36 μmol L?1, respectively. The detection limits of Sal and UA is 3.2×10?8 mol L?1 and 1.7×10?7 mol L?1 , respectively.  相似文献

A self-assembled electrode with a meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) monolayer has been characterized by electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance and complex impedance analysis, surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The self-assembled electrode was used for the simultaneous electrochemical detection of epinephrine (EP) and uric acid (UA) in phosphate buffer of pH 7.7. The simultaneous oxidation of EP and UA was performed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and the signals for each method were well separated with a potential difference of over 330 mV and without interference by each other. The detection limit of EP is 5.4 × 10−8 mol L−1 by CV and 5.3 × 10−8 mol L−1 by DPV and that of UA is 8.4 × 10−8 mol L−1 by CV and 4.2 × 10−8 mol L−1 by DPV. The DMSA self-assembled electrode can be applied to the simultaneous determination of EP and UA.  相似文献

The preparation and electrochemical characterization of a carbon paste electrode modified with copper(II) hexacyanoferrate(III) (CuHCF) as well as its behavior as electrocatalyst toward the oxidation of N-acetylcysteine were investigated. The electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode and the electrooxidation of N-acetylcysteine were explored using sweep linear voltammetry. The best voltammetric response was observed for a paste composition of 20% (w/w) copper(II) hexacyanoferrate(III) complex, acetate buffer solution at pH of 6.0 as the electrolyte and scan rate of 10 mV s− 1. A linear voltammetric response for N-acetylcysteine was obtained in the concentration range from 1.2 × 10− 4 to 8.3 × 10− 4 mol L− 1, with a detection limit of 6.3 × 10− 5 mol L− 1. The proposed electrode is useful for the quality control and routine analysis of N-acetylcysteine in pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献

A poly(caffeic acid) thin film was deposited on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode by potentiostatic technique in an aqueous solution containing caffeic acid. The poly(caffeic acid)-modified electrode was used for the determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA), and their mixture by cyclic voltammetry. This modified electrode exhibited a potent and persistent electron-mediating behavior followed by well-separated oxidation peaks toward AA and DA at a scan rate of 10 mV s−1 with a potential difference of 135 mV, which was large enough to determine AA and DA individually and simultaneously. The catalytic peak current obtained was linearly dependent on the AA and DA concentrations in the range of 2.0 × 10−5−1.2 × 10−3 and 1.0 × 10−6−4.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 in 0.15 mol L−1 phosphate buffer (pH 6.64). The detection limits for AA and DA were 9.0 × 10−6 and 4.0 × 10−7 mol L−1, respectively. The modified electrode shows good sensitivity, selectivity, and stability and has been applied to the determination of DA and AA in real samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A carbon-paste electrode chemically modified with a Schiff-base complex of cobalt (cobalt(II)-4-chlorosalophen, CoClSal) is utilized to investigate the voltammetric response of propylthiouracil (PTU). The mechanism of electrocatalytic oxidation of the compound is investigated by means of cyclic voltammetric studies applying various pHs to the buffered solutions. The modified electrode exhibits effective catalytic properties that lower the anodic overpotential and enhance the rate of electron transfer for the electrochemical oxidation of PTU. The results of the cyclic voltammetric (CV) and differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) techniques showed that the modified electrode exhibits good selectivity for discriminating between the anodic wave of PTU and some biological thiols (e.g. cysteine) which may be present in human serum samples. DPV is used as a very sensitive electroanalytical method for the detection of trace amounts of PTU in pharmaceutical and clinical preparations. The results showed that the anodic peak current for the analyte in DPV varies linearly with the concentration of PTU in the range of 7.5 × 10−6 to 7.5 × 10−4 M (RSD for the slope of calibration curve <4%, n = 6).  相似文献

A cresol red modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared using an electrochemical method. The cyclic voltammograms of the modified electrode indicate the presence of a couple of well-defined redox peaks, and the formal potential shifts in the negative direction with increasing solution pH. The modified electrode exhibits high electrocatalytic activity toward ascorbic acid oxidation, with an overpotential of 300 mV less than that of bare glassy carbon electrodes, and drastic enhancement of the anodic currents. The calibration graph obtained by linear sweep voltammetry for ascorbic acid is linear in the range of 50∼500 µM. The electrode markedly enhances the current response of dopamine and can separate the electrochemical responses of ascorbic acid and dopamine. The separation between the anodic peak potentials of ascorbic acid and dopamine is 190 mV by cyclic voltammetry. The linear sweep voltammetric peak currents for dopamine in the presence of 2 mM ascorbic acid vary linearly with a concentration of between 10 and 100 µM.  相似文献
