A variety of inter- and intramolecular dehydration was found in the reactions of [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)(mu-S(2))](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (1) with hydroxyl substituted alkenes and alkynes. Treatment of 1 with allyl alcohol gave a C(3)S(2) five-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)CH(2)CH(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (2), via C-S bond formation after C-H bond activation and intermolecular dehydration. On the other hand, intramolecular dehydration was observed in the reaction of 1 with 3-buten-1-ol giving a C(4)S(2) six-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2) [mu-SCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (3). Complex 1 reacts with 2-propyn-1-ol or 2-butyn-1-ol to give homocoupling products, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCR=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CR)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (4: R = H, 5: R = CH(3)), via intermolecular dehydration. In the reaction with 2-propyn-1-ol, the intermediate complex having a hydroxyl group, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OH)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (6), was isolated, which further reacted with 2-propyn-1-ol and 2-butyn-1-ol to give 4 and a cross-coupling product, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CCH(3))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (7), respectively. The reaction of 1 with diols, (HO)CHRC triple bond CCHR(OH), gave furyl complexes, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SSC=CROCR=CH]](CF(3)SO(3))(3) (8: R = H, 9: R = CH(3)) via intramolecular elimination of a H(2)O molecule and a H(+). Even though (HO)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OH) does not have any propargylic C-H bond, it also reacts with 1 to give [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)C(=CH(2))C(=C=C(CH(3))(2))]S](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (10). In addition, the reaction of 1 with (CH(3)O)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OCH(3)) gives [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][mu-S=C(C(CH(3))(2)OCH(3))C=CC(CH(3))CH(2)S][Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (11), in which one molecule of CH(3)OH is eliminated, and the S-S bond is cleaved.  相似文献

Steady state and laser flash photolysis (LFP) of a series of p-X-cumyl phenyl sulfides (4-X-C(6)H(4)C(CH(3))(2)SC(6)H(5): 1, X = Br; 2, X = H; 3, X = CH(3); 4, X = OCH(3)) and p-X-cumyl p-methoxyphenyl sulfides (4-X-C(6)H(4)C(CH(3))(2)SC(6)H(4)OCH(3): 5, X = H; 6, X = CH(3); 7, X = OCH(3)) has been carried out in the presence of N-methoxy phenanthridinium hexafluorophosphate (MeOP(+)PF(6)(-)) under nitrogen in MeCN. Steady state photolysis showed the formation of products deriving from the C-S bond cleavage in the radical cations 1(+?)-7(+?) (2-aryl-2-propanols and diaryl disulfides). Formation of 1(+?)-7(+?) was also demonstrated by LFP experiments evidencing the absorption bands of the radical cations 1(+?)-3(+?) (λ(max) = 530 nm) and 5(+?)-7(+?) (λ(max) = 570 nm) mainly localized in the arylsulfenyl group and radical cation 4(+?) (λ(max) = 410, 700 nm) probably mainly localized in the cumyl ring. The radical cations decayed by first-order kinetics with a process attributable to the C-S bond cleavage. On the basis of DFT calculations it has been suggested that the conformations most suitable for C-S bond cleavage in 1(+?)-4(+?) and 7(+?) are characterized by having the C-S bond almost collinear with the π system of the cumyl ring and by a significant charge and spin delocalization from the ArS ring to the cumyl ring. Such a delocalization is probably at the origin of the observation that the rates of C-S bond cleavage result in very little sensitivity to changes in the C-S bond dissociation free energy (BDFE). A quite large reorganization energy value (λ = 43.7 kcal mol(-1)) has been calculated for the C-S bond scission reaction in the radical cation. This value is much larger than that (λ = 12 kcal mol(-1)) found for the C-C bond cleavage in bicumyl radical cations, a reaction that also leads to cumyl carbocations.  相似文献

The alpha-C-H bonds of 3-methyl-2-butanone, 3-pentanone, and 2-methyl-3-pentanone were activated on the sulfur center of the disulfide-bridged ruthenium dinuclear complex [(RuCl(P(OCH3)3)2)2(mu-S2)(mu-Cl)2] (1) in the presence of AgX (X = PF6, SbF6) with concomitant formation of C-S bonds to give the corresponding ketonated complexes [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCHR1COR2)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)]X3 ([5](PF6)3, R1 = H, R2 = CH(CH3)2, X = PF6; [6](PF6)3, R1 = CH3, R2 = CH2CH3, X = PF6; [7](SbF6)3, R1 = CH3, R2 = CH(CH3)2, X = SbF6). For unsymmetric ketones, the primary or the secondary carbon of the alpha-C-H bond, rather than the tertiary carbon, is preferentially bound to one of the two bridging sulfur atoms. The alpha-C-H bond of the cyclic ketone cyclohexanone was cleaved to give the complex [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SS-1- cyclohexanon-2-yl)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](SbF6)3 ([8](SbF6)3). And the reactions of acetophenone and p-methoxyacetophenone, respectively, with the chloride-free complex [(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)2(mu-S2)]4+ (3) gave [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCH2COAr)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([9](CF3SO3)3, Ar = Ph; [10](CF3SO3)3, Ar = p-CH3OC6H4). The relative reactivities of a primary and a secondary C-H bond were clearly observed in the reaction of butanone with complex 3, which gave a mixture of two complexes, i.e., [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)20(mu-SSCH2COCH2CH3)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([11](CF3SO3)3) and [(Ru(CH3CN)2(P(OCH3)3)2)(mu-SSCHCH3COCH3)(Ru(CH3CN)3(P(OCH3)2)](CF3SO3)3 ([12](CF3SO3)3), in a molar ratio of 1:1.8. Complex 12 was converted to 11 at room temperature if the reaction time was prolonged. The relative reactivities of the alpha-C-H bonds of the ketones were deduced to be in the order 2 degrees > 1 degree > 3 degrees, on the basis of the consideration of contributions from both electronic and steric effects. Additionally, the C-S bonds in the ketonated complexes were found to be cleaved easily by protonation at room temperature. The mechanism for the formation of the ketonated disulfide-bridged ruthenium dinuclear complexes is as follows: initial coordination of the oxygen atom of the carbonyl group to the ruthenium center, followed by addition of an alpha-C-H bond to the disulfide bridging ligand, having S=S double-bond character, to form a C-S-S-H moiety, and finally completion of the reaction by deprotonation of the S-H bond.  相似文献

Treatment of [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)(mu-S(2))](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (1), which is prepared by the reaction of [[RuCl(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)](2)(mu-S(2))(mu-Cl)(2)] (2) with 4 equiv of AgCF(3)SO(3), with terminal alkenes such as 1-pentene, allyl ethyl ether, allyl phenyl ether, 1,4-hexadiene, and 3-methyl-1-butene, resulted in the formation of complexes carrying a C(3)S(2) five-membered ring, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)CH(2)CR(1)R(2)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (3, R(1) = CH(2)CH(3), R(2) = H, 40%; 4, R(1) = OCH(2)CH(3), R(2) = H, 60%; 5, R(1) = OC(6)H(5), R(2) = H, 73%; 6, R(1) = CH=CHCH(3), R(2) = H, 48%; 7, R(1) = R(2) = CH(3), 40%). Reaction of 1 with methylenecycloalkanes was found to give several different types of products, depending on the ring size of the substrates. A trace of [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(CH(2)CH(2))CH(CH(3))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (9) having a C(2)S(2) four-membered ring to bridge the two Ru atoms was obtained by the reaction of 1 with methylenecyclobutane, whereas the reaction with methylenecyclohexane gave [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-S(CH(2)(C=CHCH(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2))S)](CF(3)SO(3))(3) (10) in 69% yield via C-S bond formation and elimination of a proton. Throughout these reactions with alkenes giving a variety of products, the activation of the allylic C-H bond is always the essential and initial key step.  相似文献

2-Hydroxymethyl-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol (A) was reacted with (Me(3)Si)(2)NH and toluenesulfonyl chloride (TsCl) to give mainly CH(3)C(CH(2)OSiMe(3))(3) (1), and CH(3)C(CH(2)OTs)(3) (2), respectively. With allyl bromide, the products were CH(3)C(CH(2)OCH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(2)(CH(2)OH) (3) and CH(3)C(CH(2)OCH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(CH(2)OH)(2) x H(2)O (4). The reactions of 4 with perfluoroalkyl iodides (R(f)I) were catalyzed by Cu(I)Cl to form 2-methyl-2-polyfluoroalkenyloxymethyl-1,3-propanediols: (R(f)CH=CHCH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OH)(2) [R(f) = C(4)F(9) (5), C(8)F(17) (6), and (CF(2)CF(2))(4)OCF(CF(3))(2) (7)]. Reduction of 5 and 6 with hydrogen gave two new 2-methyl-2-polyfluoroalkyloxymethyl-1,3-propanediols, 8 and 9. The sodium salt of 9 was reacted with allyl bromide or acetyl chloride to form (C(8)F(17)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OX)(CH(2)OH)(2) [where X = CH(2)CH=CH(2) (10) or C(O)CH(3) (12)] and (C(8)F(17)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OX)(2) [where X = CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2) (11) or C(O)CH(3) (13)]. Reaction of tolenesulfonyl chloride with 7 gave the monotosylate, 14, as the sole product. With 4-trifluoromethylbenzyl bromide, the sodium salt of 4 gave (4-CF(3)C(6)H(4)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(CH(2)OH) x H(2)O (15). The compounds were characterized by NMR ((1)H, (13)C, (19)F, (29)Si), GC-MS, and high-resolution MS or elemental analyses. UV evidence was obtained for partitioning of 9, 12, 14, and 15 between perfluorodecalin and n-octanol. The test compounds acted as surfactants by facilitating the solubility of phenol and Si(CH[double bond]CH(2))(4) in perfluorodecalin. The single-crystal X-ray structure of 8 was also obtained. It crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, and unit cell dimensions were a = 24.966(2) A (alpha = 90), b = 6.1371(6) A (beta = 100.730(2)), and c = 10.5669(10) A (gamma = 90).  相似文献

The epoxidation of ethene by a model for Compound I of cytochrome P450, studied by the use of density functional B3LYP calculations, involves two-state reactivity (TSR) with multiple electromer species, hence "multi-state epoxidation". The reaction is found to proceed in stepwise and effectively concerted manners. Several reactive states are involved; the reactant is an (oxo)iron(IV) porphyrin cation radical complex with two closely lying spin states (quartet and doublet), both of which react with ethene to form intermediate complexes with a covalent C-O bond and a carbon-centered radical (radical intermediates). The radical intermediates exist in two electromers that differ in the oxidation state of iron; Por(+)(*)Fe(III)OCH(2)CH(2)(*) and PorFe(IV)OCH(2)CH(2)(*) (Por = porphyrin). These radical intermediates exist in both the doublet- and quartet spin states. The quartet spin intermediates have substantial barriers for transformation to the quartet spin PorFe(III)-epoxide complex (2.3 kcal mol(-)(1) for PorFe(IV)OCH(2)CH(2)(*) and 7.2 kcal mol(-)(1) for Por(+)(*)Fe(III)OCH(2)CH(2)(*)). In contrast, the doublet spin radicals collapse to the corresponding PorFe(III)-epoxide complex with virtually no barriers. Consequently, the lifetimes of the radical intermediates are much longer on the quartet- than on the doublet spin surface. The loss of isomeric identity in the epoxide and rearrangements to other products arise therefore mostly, if not only, from the quartet process, while the doublet state epoxidation is effectively concerted (Scheme 7). Experimental trends are discussed in the light of the computed mechanistic scheme, and a comparison is made with closely related mechanistic schemes deduced from experiment.  相似文献

A series of platinum(II) terpyridyl alkynyl complexes that have been derivatized with basic amino functionalities, [Pt(tpy)(C[triple bond]C-C6H4-NR2-4]X (X = OTf-, R = CH3 1, R = CH2CH2OCH3 2, R = H 3; X = Cl-, R = CH3 4, R = CH2CH2OCH3 5, R = H 6) (tpy = 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine), have been synthesized and characterized. Their photophysical responses at various acid concentrations were studied. The abilities of the complexes to function as colorimetric and luminescence pH sensors were demonstrated with dramatic color changes and luminescence enhancement upon introduction of acid.  相似文献

The effect of substituents on the geometries, apicophilicities, radical stabilization energies, and bond dissociation energies of (*)P(CH(3))(3)X (X = CH(3), SCH(3), OCH(3), OH, CN, CF(3), Ph) were studied via high-level ab initio molecular orbital calculations. Two alternative definitions for the radical stabilization energy (RSE) were considered: the standard RSE, in which radical stability is measured relative to H-P(CH(3))(3)X, and a new definition, the alpha-RSE, which measures stability relative to P(CH(3))(2)X. We show that these alternative definitions yield almost diametrically opposed trends; we argue that alpha-RSE provides a reasonable qualitative measure of relative radical stability, while the standard RSE qualitatively reflects the relative strength of the P-H bonds in the corresponding H-P(CH(3))(3)X phosphines. The (*)P(CH(3))(3)X radicals assume a trigonal-bipyramidal structure, with the X-group occupying an axial position, and the unpaired electron distributed between a 3p(sigma)-type orbital (that occupies the position of the "fifth ligand"), and the sigma orbitals of the axial bonds. Consistent with this picture, the radical is stabilized by resonance (along the axial bonds) with configurations such as X(-) P(*+)(CH(3))(3) and X(*) P(CH(3))(3). As a result, substituents that are strong sigma-acceptors (such as F, OH, or OCH(3)) or have weak P-X bonds (such as SCH(3)) stabilize these configurations, resulting in the largest apicophilicities and alpha-RSEs. Unsaturated pi-acceptor substituents (such as phenyl or CN) are weakly stabilizing and interact with the 3p(sigma)-type orbital via a through-space effect. As part of this work, we challenge the notion that phosphorus-centered radicals are more stable than carbon-centered radicals.  相似文献

The acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes, cis/trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1) and trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (2) (dmpe = 1,2-dimethylphoshinoethane; depe = 1,2-diethylphosphinoethane), were synthesized by transmetalation from the corresponding alkyl halide complexes. Acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes were also formed by transmetalation from the chloride complexes, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)] or trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)]. The structure of trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(CH(3))] (1a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The methyl acetylido iron complexes, [Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1), are thermally stable in the presence of acetylenes; however, under UV irradiation, methane is lost with the formation of a metal bisacetylide. Photochemical metathesis of cis- or trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CR)] (R = C(6)H(5) (1a), 4-C(6)H(4)OCH(3) (1b)) with terminal acetylenes was used to selectively synthesize unsymmetrically substituted iron(II) bisacetylide complexes of the type trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(C[triple bond]CR')] [R = Ph, R' = Ph (6a), 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4) (6b), (t)()Bu (6c), Si(CH(3))(3) (6d), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6e); R = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), R' = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), (6g), (t)()Bu (6h), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6i), adamantyl (6j)]. The structure of the unsymmetrical iron(II) bisacetylide complex trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))] (6b) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The photochemical metathesis of the bis-acetylene, 1,7-octadiyne, with trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CPh)] (1a), was utilized to synthesize the bridged binuclear species trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (11). The trinuclear species trans,trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (12) was synthesized by the photochemical reaction of Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CPh)(C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH) (6e) with Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(2). Extended irradiation of the bisacetylide complexes with phenylacetylene resulted in insertion of the terminal alkyne into one of the metal acetylide bonds to give acetylide butenyne complexes. The structure of the acetylide butenyne complex, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))(eta(1)-C(C(6)H(5))=CH(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3)))] (9a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Unimolecular metastable fragmentations of dimethoxydimethylsilane, (CH(3))(2)Si(OCH(3))(2) (MW 120, 1), and dimethoxymethylsilane, CH(3)SiH(OCH(3))(2) (MW 106, 2), upon electron impact ionization have been studied by means of mass-analyzed ion kinetic energy (MIKE) spectrometry and the D-labeling technique in conjunction with thermochemistry. The results have been compared with those of the corresponding carbon analogues, 2,2-dimethoxypropane, (CH(3))(2)C(OCH(3))(2) (MW 104, 3) and 1,1-dimethoxyethane, CH(3)CH(OCH(3))(2) (MW 90, 4). In analogy with the cases of 3 and 4, both molecular ions from 1 and 2 are formed at very low abundance at 70 eV, and begin to decompose by the expulsion of the substituents (H, CH(3) or OCH(3)) on the central silicon atom. These decompositions are followed by the loss of a formaldehyde molecule (CH(2)O), as commonly observed in the mass spectra of methoxysilanes. Further, an ethylene (C(2)H(4)) or a dimethyl ether (CH(3)OCH(3)) molecule loss is observed in the fragmentation of some intermediate ions generated from 1(+)* and 2(+)*, but the mechanisms are different than those in the cases of 3 and 4. Some of these fragmentations are also different than those reported previously. The relative abundance of the ions in many MIKE spectra is explained by the extension of the Stevenson-Audier rule. The reaction, which is in contrast to the rule, however, is rationalized by the energy of the transition state for the reaction, estimated by semi-empirical molecular orbital calculation. The peak at m/z 59 from 2(+)* consists only of CH(3)OSi(+) ion, whereas the peak from 1(+)* consists of two different ions, CH(3)OSi(+) and (CH(3))(2)Si(+)H. The ions CH(3)OSi(+) from 1(+)* and 2(+)* are generated by at least two and three separate routes respectively.  相似文献

The reactions of laser-ablated late lanthanide atoms and methanol were studied using matrix isolation infrared spectroscopy and electronic structure calculations at the density functional theory level. Both terbium and lutetium atoms react with methanol spontaneously to form the CH(3)OTbH and CH(3)OLuH insertion products, which react further with another methanol molecule to give the Tb(OCH(3))(2) and Lu(OCH(3))(2) products as found previously for uranium. The reactions of Dy through Yb and methanol first produce Ln(CH(3)OH) complexes during sample annealing, which isomerize to the CH(3)OLnH insertion products on visible irradiation. The Ln-H stretching frequencies of the CH(3)OLnH molecules exhibit a unique trend from Tb to Lu, which is also reproduced by theoretical calculations at the B3LYP level of theory. Although the CH(3)LnOH molecules are predicted to be more stable than the O-H bond insertion products, formation of the C-O bond insertion isomers is kinetically prohibited as revealed by calculated potential energy surfaces.  相似文献

The first examples of ring-closing metathesis (RCM) reactions of a series of terminal alkene-derived cyclic phosphazenes have been carried out. The tetrakis-, hexakis-, and octakis(allyloxy)cyclophosphazenes (NPPh(2))(NP(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))(2))(2) (1), N(3)P(3)(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))(6) (2), and N(4)P(4)(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))(8) (3) and the tetrakis(allyloxy)-S-phenylthionylphosphazene (NS(O)Ph)[NP(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))(2)](2) (4) were prepared by the reactions of CH(2)=CHCH(2)ONa with the cyclophosphazenes (NPPh(2))(NPCl(2))(2), N(3)P(3)Cl(6), and N(4)P(4)Cl(8) and the S-phenylthionylphosphazene (NS(O)Ph)(NPCl(2))(2). The reactions of 1-4 with Grubbs first-generation olefin metathesis catalyst Cl(2)Ru=CHPh(PCy(3))(2) resulted in the selective formation of seven-membered di-, tri-, and tetraspirocyclic phosphazene compounds (NPPh(2))[NP(OCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)O)](2) (5), N(3)P(3)(OCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)O)(3) (6), and N(4)P(4)(OCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)O)(4) (7) and the dispirocyclic S-phenylthionylphosphazene compound (NS(O)Ph)[NP(OCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)O)](2) (8). X-ray structural studies of 5-8 indicated that the double bond of the spiro-substituted cycloalkene units is in the cis orientation in these compounds. In contrast to the reactions of 1-4, RCM reactions of the homoallyloxy-derived cyclophosphazene and thionylphosphazene (NPPh(2))[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(2)](2) (9) and (NS(O)Ph)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(2)](2) (10) with the same catalyst resulted in the formation of 11-membered diansa compounds NPPh(2)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CHCH(2)CH(2)O)](2) (11) and (NS(O)Ph)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CHCH(2)CH(2)O)](2) (13) and the intermolecular doubly bridged ansa-dibino-ansa compounds 12 and 14. The X-ray structural studies of compounds 11 and 13 indicated that the double bonds of the ansa-substituted cycloalkene units are in the trans orientation in these compounds. The geminal bis(homoallyloxy)tetraphenylcyclotriphosphazene [NPPh(2)](2)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CH(2))(2)] (15) upon RCM with Grubbs first- and second-generation catalysts gave the spirocyclic product [NPPh(2)](2)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CHCH(2)CH(2)O)] (16) along with the geminal dibino-substituted dimeric compound [NPPh(2)](2)[NP(OCH(2)CH(2)CH=CHCH(2)CH(2)O)(2)PN][NPPh(2)](2) (17) as the major product. The dibino compound 17, upon reaction with the Grubbs second-generation catalyst, was found to undergo a unique ring-opening metathesis reaction, opening up the bino bridges and partially converting to the spirocyclic compound 16.  相似文献

DFT(B3PW91) calculations show that the reaction pathways for ethylene metathesis with Re([triple bond]CMe)(=CHMe)(X)(Y) (X/Y = CH2CH3/CH2CH3; CH2CH3/OSiH3; OSiH3/CH2CH3; OCH3/OCH3, CH2CH3/OCH3, and OCF3/OCF3) occur in two steps: first, the pseudo-tetrahedral d0 Re complexes distort to a trigonal pyramid to open a coordination site for ethylene, which remains far from Re (early transition state for C-C bond formation). The energy barrier, determined by the energy required to distort the catalyst, is the lowest for unsymmetrical ligands (X not equal Y) when the apical site of the TBP is occupied by a good sigma-donor ligand (X) and the basal site by a poor sigma-donor (Y). Second, the formation of metallacyclobutanes (late transition state for C-C bond formation) has a low energy barrier for any type of ligands, decreasing for poor sigma-donor X and Y ligands, because they polarize the Re-C alkylidene bond as Re(+delta)=C(-delta), which favors the reaction with ethylene, itself polarized by the metal center in the reverse way. The metallacyclobutane is also a TBP, with apical alkylidyne and Y ligands, and it is stabilized by poor sigma-donor X and Y. The best catalyst will have the more shallow potential energy surface, and will thus be obtained for the unsymmetrical set of ligands with X = a good sigma-donor (alkyl) and Y = a poor sigma-donor (O-based ligand). This rationalizes the high efficiency of well-defined Re alkylidene supported on silica, compared to its homogeneous equivalent, Re([triple bond]CMe)(=CHMe)(OR)2.  相似文献

Enthalpies for the beta-scission reactions, R'SC(*)(Z)SR --> R'SC(Z)=S + (*)R (for R, R' = CH(3), CH(2)CH(3), CH(2)CN, C(CH(3))(2)CN, CH(2)COOCH(3), CH(CH(3))COOCH(3), CH(2)OCOCH(3), CH(2)Ph, C(CH(3))(2)Ph, and CH(CH(3))Ph and Z = CH(3), H, Cl, CN, CF(3), NH(2), Ph, CH(2)Ph, OCH(3), OCH(2)CH(3), OCH(CH(3))(2), OC(CH(3))(3), and F) have been calculated using a variety of DFT, MP2, and ONIOM-based methods, as well as G3(MP2)-RAD, with a view to identifying an accurate method that can be practically applied to larger systems. None of the DFT methods examined can reproduce the quantitative, nor qualitative, values of the fragmentation enthalpy; in most cases the relative errors are over 20 kJ mol(-1) and in some cases as much as 55 kJ mol(-1). The ROMP2 methods fare much better, but fail when the leaving group radical (R(*)) is substituted with a group (such as phenyl or CN) that delocalizes the unpaired electron. However, provided the primary substituents on the leaving group radical are included in the core system, an ONIOM-based approach in which the full system is studied via ROMP2 (or SCS- or SOS-MP2) calculations with the 6-311+G(3df,2p) basis set and the core system is studied at G3(MP2)-RAD can reproduce the corresponding G3(MP2)-RAD values of the full systems within 5 kJ mol(-1) and is a practical method for use on larger systems.  相似文献

Rate coefficients for the reactions of hydroxyl radicals and chlorine atoms with methyl crotonate and ethyl crotonate have been determined at 298 K and atmospheric pressure. The decay of the organics was monitored using gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC-FID), and the rate constants were determined using the relative rate method with different reference compounds. Room temperature rate coeficcients were found to be (in cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)): k(1)(OH + CH(3)CH═CHC(O)OCH(3)) = (4.65 ± 0.65) × 10(-11), k(2)(Cl + CH(3)CH═CHC(O)OCH(3)) = (2.20 ± 0.55) × 10(-10), k(3)(OH + CH(3)CH═CHC(O)OCH(2)CH(3)) = (4.96 ± 0.61) × 10(-11), and k(4)(Cl + CH(3)CH═CHC(O)OCH(2)CH(3)) = (2.52 ± 0.62) × 10(-10) with uncertainties representing ±2σ. This is the first determination of k(1), k(3), and k(4) under atmospheric pressure. The rate coefficients are compared with previous determinations for other unsaturated and oxygenated VOCs and reactivity trends are presented. In addition, a comparison between the experimentally determined k(OH) with k(OH) predicted from k vs E(HOMO) relationships is presented. On the other hand, product identification under atmospheric conditions has been performed for the first time for these unsaturated esters by the GC-MS technique in NO(x)-free conditions. 2-Hydroxypropanal, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, and formic acid were positively observed as degradation products in agreement with the addition of OH to C2 and C3 of the double bond, followed by decomposition of the 2,3- or 3,2-hydroxyalkoxy radicals formed. Atmospheric lifetimes, based on of the homogeneous sinks of the unsaturated esters studied, are estimated from the kinetic data obtained in the present work.  相似文献

A dual-level direct dynamic method is employed to study the reaction mechanisms of CF3CH2OCHF2 (HFE-245fa2; HFE-245mf) with the OH radicals and Cl atoms. Two hydrogen abstraction channels and two displacement processes are found for each reaction. For further study, the reaction mechanisms of its products (CF3CH2OCF2 and CF3CHOCHF2) and parent ether CH3CH2OCH3 with OH radical are investigated theoretically. The geometries and frequencies of all the stationary points and the minimum energy paths (MEPs) are calculated at the B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) level. The energetic information along the MEPs is further refined at the G3(MP2) level of theory. For reactions CF3CH2OCHF2 + OH/Cl, the calculation indicates that the hydrogen abstraction from --CH2-- group is the dominant reaction channel, and the displacement processes may be negligible because of the high barriers. The standard enthalpies of formation for the reactant CF3CH2OCHF2, and two products CF3CH2OCHF2 and CF3CHOCHF2 are evaluated via group-balanced isodesmic reactions. The rate constants of reactions CF3CH2OCHF2 + OH/Cl and CH3CH2OCH3 + OH are estimated by using the variational transition state theory over a wide range of temperature (200-2000 K). The agreement between the theoretical and experimental rate constants is good in the measured temperature range. From the comparison between the rate constants of the reactions CF3CH2OCHF2 and CH3CH2OCH3 with OH, it is shown that the fluorine substitution decreases the reactivity of the C--H bond.  相似文献

Addition of CO to [1,2,4-(Me3C)3C5H2]2CeH,Cp'2 CeH, in toluene yields the cis-(Cp'2Ce)2(mu-OCHCHO), in which the cis-enediolate group bridges the two metallocene fragments. The cis-enediolate quantitatively isomerizes intramolecularly to the trans-enediolate in C6D6 at 100 degrees C over 7 months. When the solvent is pentane, Cp'2Ce(OCH2)CeCp'2 forms, in which the oxomethylene group or the formaldehyde dianion bridges the two metallocene fragments. The cis-enediolate is suggested to form by insertion of CO into the Ce-C bond of Cp'2Ce(OCH2)CeCp'2, generating Cp'2CeOCH2COCeCp'2. The stereochemistry of the cis-enediolate is determined by a 1,2-hydrogen shift in the OCH2CO fragment that has the OC(H2) bond anti-periplanar relative to the carbene lone pair. The bridging oxomethylene complex reacts with H2, but not with CH4, to give Cp'2CeOMe, which is also the product of the reaction between Cp'2CeH and a mixture of CO and H2. The oxomethylene complex reacts with CO to give the cis-enediolate complex. DFT calculations on C5H5 model metallocenes show that the reaction of Cp2CeH with CO and H2 to give Cp2CeOMe is exoergic by 50 kcal mol-1. The net reaction proceeds by a series of elementary reactions that occur after the formyl complex, Cp2Ce(eta2-CHO), is formed by further reaction with H2. The key point that emerges from the calculated potential energy surface is the bifunctional nature of the metal formyl in which the carbon atom behaves as a donor and acceptor. Replacing H2 by CH4 increases the activation energy by 17 kcal mol-1.  相似文献

The new ionic liquids (5a-8a) were used as reaction media for nucleophilic trifluoromethylation reactions of trifluoromethyl(trimethyl)silane with (1) aryl, allyl, benzyl, and alkyl halides in Cu(I)-mediated C-C bond formation reactions, and (2) carbonyl functionalities catalyzed with Ph3P or CsF. In addition, conversion of benzyl bromide as a model compound to benzyl fluoride was examined in using 6a CsF as the fluorinating reagent. The morpholinium-based ionic liquid (6a) stood out as an efficient solvent system comparable to organic solvents and superior to the other new ionic liquids prepared in this work as well as to [bmim]+[PF6]-. Neat reactions of N-methyloxazolidine (1), N-methylmorpholine (2), N-methylimidazole (3) or N-methyltriazole (4) with 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethyl bromide (BrCH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH3, ) or 2-bromoethyl methyl ether (BrCH2CH2OCH3, 10) at 75 or 105 degrees C gave the N-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethyl- or N-methoxyethyl-substituted oxazolidinium, morpholinium, imidazolium and triazolium quaternary bromides (1a-4a, 1b-4b) which were metathesized with LiN(SO2CF3)2 to form the respective room-temperature liquid bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amides 5a-8a and 5b-8b in high yields with transition or melting points < -78 degrees C as determined by DSC. All of the ionic liquids are thermally stable to > 310 degrees C as determined by thermogravimetric analyses (TGA). Densities range between 1.29 and 1.53 g cm(-3) at 25 degrees C.  相似文献

Novel dicyanido-bridged dicationic RuIIISSRuIII complexes [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2(mu-S2)(mu-X)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3)2 (4, X=Cl, Br) were synthesized by the abstraction of the two terminal halide ions of [{RuX(P(OCH3)3)2}2(mu-S2)(mu-X)2] (1, X=Cl, Br) followed by treatment with m-xylylenedicyanide. 4 reacted with 2,3-dimethylbutadiene to give the C4S2 ring-bridged complex [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2{mu-SCH2C(CH3)=C(CH3)CH2S}(mu-X)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3)2 (6, X=Cl, Br). In addition, 4 reacted with 1-alkenes in CH3OH to give alkenyl disulfide complexes [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2{mu-SS(CH2C=CHR)}(mu-Cl)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3) (7: R=CH2CH3, 9: R=CH2CH2CH3) and alkenyl methyl disulfide complexes [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2{mu-S(CH3)S(CH2C=HR)}(mu-Cl)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3)2 (8: R=CH2CH3, 10: R=CH2CH2CH3) via the activation of an allylic C-H bond followed by the elimination of H+ or condensation with CH3OH. Additionally, the reaction of 4 with 3-penten-1-ol gave [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2{mu-SS(CH2C=CHCH2OH)}(mu-Cl)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3) (11) via the elimination of H+ and [{Ru(P(OCH3)3)2}2(mu-SCH2CH=CHCH2S)(mu-Cl)2{mu-m-C6H4(CH2CN)2}](CF3SO3)2 (12) via the intramolecular elimination of a H2O molecule. 12 was exclusively obtained from the reaction of 4 with 4-bromo-1-butene.  相似文献

Phosphonium ions CH(3)P(O)OCH(3)(+) (93 Th) and CH(3)OP(O)OCH(3)(+) (109 Th) react with 1,4-dioxane to form unique cyclic ketalization products, 1,3,2-dioxaphospholanium ions. By contrast, a variety of other types of ions having multiple bonds, including the acylium ions CH(3)CO(+) (43 Th), CH(3)OCO(+) (59 Th), (CH(3))(2)NCO(+) (72 Th), and PhCO(+) (105 Th), the iminium ion H(2)C[double bond]NHC(2)H(5)(+) (58 Th) and the carbosulfonium ion H(2)C[double bond]SC(2)H(5)(+) (75 Th) do not react with 1,4-dioxane under the same conditions. The characteristic ketalization reaction can also be observed when CH(3)P(OH)(OCH(3))(2)(+), viz. protonated dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP), collides with 1,4-dioxane, as a result of fragmentation to yield the reactive phosphonium ion CH(3)P(O)OCH(3)(+) (93 Th). This novel ion/molecule reaction is highly selective to phosphonium ions and can be applied to identify DMMP selectively in the presence of ketone, ester, and amide compounds using a neutral gain MS/MS scan. This method of DMMP analysis can be applied to aqueous solutions using electrospray ionization; it shows a detection limit in the low ppb range and a linear response over the range 10 to 500 ppb.  相似文献
