采用元胞自动机模型研究了具有信号灯控制的主道为双车道的入匝道系统交通流特性.将信号灯设置在入匝道口处,通过信号灯来引导主道和匝道上的车辆通行.分析了信号灯控制对主道与匝道的车流量、系统通行能力以及入匝道口处的车流平均速度的影响.通过相图比较,说明信号灯控制的双车道入匝道系统能模拟出比信号灯控制的单车道入匝道系统更加符合实际的交通流特性.与姜锐提出的模型[Jiang R 2003 J. Phys. A 36 11713]结果相比,信号灯控制下的匝道系统的交通流状态得到改善并且道路通行能力有所提 关键词: 交通流 元胞自动机 入匝道系统 信号灯  相似文献

在考虑自适应巡航(adaptive cruise control, ACC)车辆的交通流模型的基础上, 建立了考虑ACC车辆影响的上匝道系统混合交通流模型, 研究ACC车辆引入对上匝道交通系统交通流的影响. 为了描述ACC车辆和手动驾驶车辆在交通流运行中的差异, 分别构建了基于常车头时距原则的ACC 车辆跟驰子模型和手动驾驶车辆MCD元胞自动机子模型; 基于上匝道车辆合流驶入主线的需求, 建立了换道子模型, 引入了表征驾驶员换道心理的参数λ. 通过对混合交通流模型进行数值模拟发现, ACC车辆的混入可以有效改善上匝道系统交通流的运行, 降低合流等事件对于交通流运行的影响, 抑制交通拥堵的时空范围及拥堵强度, 提高交通流的平均速度和流量. 此外在混合交通流模型中, ACC车辆期望车头时距Hd的减小与换道心理参数λ 的增大均可以提高混合交通流运行的速度和流量, 而合流区长度lw对混合交通流影响则因上匝道车辆驶入概率的不同而存在差异.  相似文献

In the three-phase traffic flow studies, the traffic flow characteristic at the bottleneck section is a hot spot in the academic field. The controversy about the characteristics of the synchronized flow at bottleneck is also the main contradiction between the three-phase traffic flow theory and the traditional traffic flow theory. Under the framework of three-phase traffic flow theory, this paper takes the on-ramp as an example to discuss the traffic flow characteristics at the bottleneck section.In particular, this paper mainly conducts the micro-analysis to the effect of lane change under the two lane conditions, as well as the effect of the on-ramp on the main line traffic flow. It is found that when the main road flow is low, the greater the on-ramp inflow rate, the higher the average speed of the whole road section. As the probability of vehicles entering from the on-ramp increases, the flow and the average speed of the main road are gradually stabilized, and then the on-ramp inflow vehicles no longer have a significant impact on the traffic flow. In addition, this paper focuses on the velocity disturbance generated at the on-ramp, and proposes the corresponding on-ramp control strategy based on it, and the simulation verified that the control strategy can reasonably control the traffic flow by the on-ramp, which can meet the control strategy requirements to some extent.  相似文献

Usually there is an accelerating lane as an on-ramp merges with the main road. How the length of this section and the traffic regulations influence the traffic behaviors has seldom been investigated. In this paper, we study this issue using the cellular automata traffic flow model. We find that (i) the permission of lane changing from main road to the accelerating lane will deteriorate the capacity of the road, hence it should be forbidden; (ii) when lane changing from main road to accelerating lane is forbidden, the introduction of an accelerating lane can improve the capacity of the on-ramp system.  相似文献

Usually there are multi-lane on the main road of the on-ramp system. The drivers may decelerate for more safety when they are near the on-ramp. In addition, the car velocity may be restricted according to the traffic regulation. In this paper, we study phenomenon using the cellular automata traffic flow model. We find that: (i) the phase diagram of the two-lane on-ramp system appears a new region, in which the traffic of the on-ramp reaches maximum flow. (ii) The introduction of restricted velocity region will decrease capacity of the on-ramp, but reduce the drastic velocity fluctuation near the on-ramp.  相似文献

<正>The effect of cars with intelligent transportation systems(ITSs) on traffic flow near an on-ramp is investigated by car-following simulations.By numerical simulations,the dependences of flux on the inflow rate are investigated for various proportions of cars with ITSs.The phase diagrams as well as the spatiotemporal diagrams are presented to show different traffic flow states on the main road and the on-ramp.The results show that the saturated flux on the main road increases and the free flow region is enlarged with the increase of the proportion of cars with ITS.Interestingly,the congested regions of the main road disappear completely when the proportion is larger than a critical value.Further investigation shows that the capacity of the on-ramp system can be promoted by 13%by using the ITS information, and the saturated flux on the on-ramp can be kept at an appropriate value by adjusting the proportion of cars with ITS.  相似文献

The efficiency of traffic flows in urban areas is known to crucially depend on signal operation. Here, elements of signal control are discussed, based on the minimization of overall travel times or vehicle queues. Interestingly, we find different operation regimes, some of which involve a “slower-is-faster effect”, where a delayed switching reduces the average travel times. These operation regimes characterize different ways of organizing traffic flows in urban road networks. Besides the optimize-one-phase approach, we discuss the procedure and advantages of optimizing multiple phases as well. To improve the service of vehicle platoons and support the self-organization of “green waves”, it is proposed to consider the price of stopping newly arriving vehicles.  相似文献

The combined bottleneck effect is investigated by modeling traffic systems with an on-ramp and a nearby bus stop in a two-lane cellular automaton model. Two cases, i.e. the bus stop locates in the downstream section of the on-ramp and the bus stop locates in the upstream section of the on-ramp, are considered separately. The upstream flux and downstream flux of the main road, as well as the on-ramp flux are analysed in detail, with respect to the entering probabilities and the distance between the on-ramp and the bus stop. It is found that the combination of the two bottlenecks causes the capacity to drop off, because the vehicles entering the main road from the on-ramp would interweave with the stopping (pulling-out) buses in the downstream (upstream) case. The traffic conflict in the former case is much heavier than that in the latter, causing the downstream main road to be utilized inefficiently. This suggests that the bus stop should be set in the upstream section of the on-ramp to enhance the capacity. The fluxes both on the main road and on the on-ramp vary with the distance between the two bottlenecks in both cases. However, the effects of distance disappear gradually at large distances. These findings might give some guidance to traffic optimization and management.  相似文献

采用元胞自动机模型研究高速公路入匝控制问题. 利用主路上测定区域内的车辆数设计了一种新型入匝信号控制方法,模拟分析了各种参数对主路和匝道交通的影响. 结果表明,设置匝道信号灯可以保证主路交通畅通,尤其是匝道处的车辆到达率比较高时效果非常明显. 测定区域位置、抑制入匝车流量以及并道区长度的不同组合可以导致不同的主路和匝道交通流,合理搭配这三个参数可以兼顾主路和匝道的流量和通行时间.测定区域应该设置在并道段前或并道段上游的适当位置. 关键词: 交通流 元胞自动机 入匝控制 并道规则  相似文献

This paper uses the cellular automaton model to study the dynamics of traffic flow around an on-ramp with an acceleration lane. It adopts a parameter, which can reflect different lane-changing behaviour, to represent the diversity of driving behaviour. The refined cellular automaton model is used to describe the lower acceleration rate of a vehicle. The phase diagram and the capacity of the on-ramp system are investigated. The simulation results show that in the single cell model, the capacity of the on-ramp system will stay at the highest flow of a one lane system when the driver is moderate and careful; it will be reduced when the driver is aggressive. In the refined cellular automaton model, the capacity is always reduced even when the driver is careful. It proposes that the capacity drop of the on-ramp system is caused by aggressive lane-changing behaviour and lower acceleration rate.  相似文献

道路交通系统是一个复杂的系统,其中包含了人的直接参与。在该系统中,人的因素起了重要的作用。本文中,在道路系统路面的某一点设计了一种类型控制信号,该点被称为信号点。在控制信号的作用下,当车辆经过信号点的时候,车辆需要降低速度。其目的在于能够通过控制信号控制交通流的状态,使其由无序变为有序,从而提高道路系统的交通安全。应用双车道的确定性NaSch模型进行仿真模拟,结果表明不仅交通流的状态能够由无序变为有序,而且交通流的状态是安全的。  相似文献

In this paper, we study the capacity of a highway with two on-ramps by using a cellular automata traffic flow model. We investigate how to improve the system capacity by assigning traffic flow to the two ramps. The system phase diagram is presented and different regions are classified. It is shown that in region I, in which both ramps are in free flow and the main road upstream of the ramps is in congestion, assigning a higher proportion of the demand to the upstream on-ramp could improve the overall flow, which is consistent with previous studies. This is explained through studying the spatiotemporal patterns and analytical investigations. In contrast, optimal assignment has not been observed in other regions. We point out that our result is robust and model independent under certain conditions.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to study traffic properties in an on/off-ramp system with a bus stop close to the on/off ramp. The location of the bus stop in the on/off-ramp (thereafter downstream or upstream case) is discussed. The simulation results show that in the two ramp systems, the reasons for traffic congestions are different. In the on-ramp system, buses and cars coming from on-ramp interweave each other, while in the off-ramp system, busesinterweave with cars exiting to off-ramp. Thus, in the on-ramp (off-ramp) system, the upstream (downstream) bus stop is helpful to reduce the interweaving situation. Moreover, the negative effect will disappear when the distance between the bus stop and the on/off-ramp is more than 20 cells (i.e. 150 m). These qualitative findings may provide some suggestions on traffic management and optimization.  相似文献

针对受多种因素影响的复杂道路交通系统问题,基于颗粒动力学理论,结合传统的Lighthill-WhithamRichards物理模型,建立道路交通系统的流体物理模型,采用无网格粒子与网格相结合的方法进行数值仿真,并应用于典型道路交通问题的求解.在新模型中,将车辆比拟为硬颗粒,车辆的跟车比拟为颗粒间的碰撞相互作用,已知道路情况对驾驶员操作车辆的影响比拟为流-粒两相系统中的外部流体驱动力作用,不同车道间车辆的影响比拟为颗粒间的黏性作用,从而在颗粒动力学理论的基础上,推导建立了道路交通系统拟流体模型;引入光滑离散颗粒流体动力学(SDPH)对车辆系统模型进行离散,建立"SDPH车辆"与真实车辆之间的一一对应关系,再结合有限体积方法,对道路交通构建的双流体模型进行求解,建立求解交通流体物理模型的新型仿真方法.最后,采用所建立的模型和方法对车辆汇入以及机非混合对交通系统的影响过程进行了数值仿真,所得结果与实测值符合较好,表明新的模型和方法有效性好、可靠性高,为道路交通问题的解决提供了一条全新的途径.  相似文献

The studies of traffic flows are reviewed and different approaches in the analysis of the phase states of flows and the fundamental diagram are described. A comparison with the experimental results is performed. The attention is focused on the analysis of the empirical data collected on the linear branch of the Lefortovo tunnel (Moscow’s third ring road). The analysis performed gives a fundamental diagram with a very complex structure. It is shown that the congested traffic flow observed in the tunnel can be considered indeed as cooperative vehicle motion. In particular, it is established that there are long-scale spatial correlations in the motion speed and that the fundamental diagram contains a region of widely scattered states. These two features are typical of phase cooperative vehicle motion. The phase portrait of the traffic flow dynamics is analyzed. Two regions with radically different properties, separated by a narrow layer with a nearly constant vehicle density, are revealed. One of these regions corresponds to cooperative vehicle motion and contains a core with chaotic dynamics. The other part of the phase plane describes the jammed phase formation.  相似文献

Mixed traffic flow consisting of vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and manually driven vehicles is analyzed using car-following simulations. Simulations of merging from an on-ramp onto a freeway reported in the literature have not thus far demonstrated a substantial positive impact of ACC. In this paper cooperative merging for ACC vehicles is proposed to improve throughput and increase distance traveled in a fixed time. In such a system an ACC vehicle senses not only the preceding vehicle in the same lane but also the vehicle immediately in front in the other lane. Prior to reaching the merge region, the ACC vehicle adjusts its velocity to ensure that a safe gap for merging is obtained. If on-ramp demand is moderate, cooperative merging produces significant improvement in throughput (20%) and increases up to 3.6 km in distance traveled in 600 s for 50% ACC mixed flow relative to the flow of all-manual vehicles. For large demand, it is shown that autonomous merging with cooperation in the flow of all ACC vehicles leads to throughput limited only by the downstream capacity, which is determined by speed limit and headway time.  相似文献

One of the most common environmental impacts of road transportation is the traffic noise. Linked to this, Start/Stop is a technology which has demonstrated to save fuel by powering off the engine when the vehicle is stopped, such as in front of a traffic light, and restarting the engine instantly when the driver pushes back the pedal brake to proceed. The technology helps also to reduce the CO2 emission, playing a key role in a way to accomplish stringent emission norms for vehicle manufacturer. However, we are not sure whether it reduces the noise emission and how much? Thus, the main aim of this work is to assess the engine noise emissions of a vehicle incorporating a Start/Stop system in urban traffic, and compare it with those radiated by the mean traffic stream. Experimental results demonstrate that there are no contributions of the Start/Stop system to reduce meaningfully the engine noise in urban traffic.  相似文献

Since ramp is an important composition of traffic system and there often exist multi ramps in a traffic system, the number of ramps can have great effects on main road traffic and produce some complex phenomena. In this paper, we employ the model presented by Tang \textit{et al}. [2009 {\em Communications in Theoretical Physics} {\bf 51}({1}) 71] to further study the effects of the number of on-ramps on the stability of traffic flow on a ring road. The numerical results show that this model can reproduce some complex traffic phenomena resulting from multi on-ramps on the ring road and the effects of the number of on-ramps on traffic flow, but the phenomena and the effects are both related to the initial density of the main road.  相似文献
