A method of studying a non-equilibrium x-ray laser plasma is
developed by extending the existing one-dimensional similarity
equations to the case of two-dimensional plasma study in the
directions perpendicular to the slab and along a focal line. With this
method the characteristics of pre-plasma are optimized for transient
neon-like Cr x-ray laser. It is found that when the duration and the
intensity of 1.053μm pre-pulse are 1.2ns and
6.5 TW/cm2 respectively with a delay time of 1.5ns, the
temperature and the temperature discrepancy each approach a proper
state, which will provide a uniform distribution of properly ionized
neon-like Cr ions before the arrival of pumping pulse. 相似文献

利用一维拉格朗日流体动力学程序Med103详细研究了产生类镍Ag,Cd,In,Sn, Sb离子和类氖Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn离子的等离子体状态.通过对电子温度、离子丰度、离子数密度等状态参量的分析比较,得到了这两类等离子体状态之间的对应关系.即类镍银的等离子体状态与类氖铁 的相近,类镍镉的与类氖钴的相近,依次类推.利用这一对应关系可以方便地由类氖机理x射线激光的等离子体状态来对相应元素的类镍x射线激光的等离子体状态进行判断.

Theoretical study of Ni-like Ag 13.9nm TCE x-ray laser driven by two picosecond pulses 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1 下载免费PDF全文
The Ni-like Ag 13.9nm x-ray laser has been previously demonstrated
that the higher gain near critical surface contributes little to the
amplification of the x-ray laser because of severe refraction. In
this paper, the transient collision excitation (TCE) Ni-like Ag
13.9nm x-ray laser is simulated, driven by two 3ps short pulse
preceded by a 330ps long prepulse, optimization of the peak to
peak delay time of the two short pulses is made to get the best
results. Simulation indicates that by producing lowly ionized
preplasma with smoothly varying electron density, it is possible to
decrease electron density gradient in higher density region, and
thus higher gains near this region could be utilized, and if the
main short pulse is delayed by 900ps, local gains where electron
density larger than ~ 4×1020cm-3 could be utilized. 相似文献

Investigation on the hydrodynamics of slab x-ray laser plasma by nonuiform line focused laser irradiation 下载免费PDF全文
Based on the two-dimensional model,this paper compares the hydrodynamics of slab x-ray laser plasma produced by different nonuniform line focused irradiations.It finds that the average intensity and the duration of laser pulse and the overall shape of the intensity distribution in the focal line have different influences on the plasma.Calculations show that the evolution of temperature variation is more sensitive to the pulse duration and the electron density variation is more sensitive to the pulse intensity.Pulses with duration of 200 ps to 500 ps and with intensity of 0.2 TW/cm 2 to 1.0 TW/cm 2 are proved acceptable in slab x-ray lasers. 相似文献

An x-ray biplanar photodiode and the x-ray emission from magnetically confined laser produced plasma
Development of a single and multichannel biplanar vacuum photodiode for x-ray detection is reported, which has been used to
study the x-ray emission from laser produced plasma expanding across an externally applied magnetic field. Two to three times
enhancement in x-ray emission has been observed which was found correlated with decrease in size of the x-ray emitting plasma
plume (expansion velocity of plasma). Experimental observations were found in close agreement with the analytical model based
on an increase in plasma density as a result of plasma confinement in magnetic field. Temporal evolution of x-ray emission
indicates that recombination radiation seems to be playing an important role in x-ray enhancement. 相似文献

In most collisional schemes of x-ray laser (XRL) experiments, a
bow-like intensity distribution of XRL is often observed, and it is
generally ascribed to the two-dimensional hydrodynamic behaviour of
expanding plasma. In order to better understand its essence in
physics, a newly developed two-dimensional non-equilibrium radiation
hydrodynamic code XRL2D is used to simulate a quasi-steady state
Ni-like Ag XRL experiment on ShenGuang-II facility. The simulation
results show that the bow-like distribution of Ni-like ions caused by
over-ionization in the central area of plasma is responsible for the
bow-like shape of the XRL intensity distribution observed. 相似文献

The demonstration of a 69.8?nm laser on 3p 3P2 - 3s 1P1 (J=2-1) transition of Ne-like Ar pumped by capillary discharge is reported in this Letter. A main current of 12?kA with rise time of 43?ns was chosen to generate the plasma in a 35?cm long capillary filling with pressure of Ar as low as 11?Pa, resulting in a gain coefficient of 0.34?cm(-1) and gain-length product of 11 at 69.8?nm. Also observed is a weak laser on 3p 3D2 - 3s 3P1 (J=2-1) transition of Ne-like Ar at 72.6?nm in the same condition. In addition, multiwavelength lasing at 46.9, 69.8, and 72.6?nm was simultaneously realized in a capillary discharge plasma column, conditioning the pressure of Ar to 13?Pa. 相似文献

With pure Ar and gaseous mixtures of Ar-He, the laser spike of Ne-like Ar 46.9 nm pumped by capillary discharge is measured
with XRD (X-ray diode) at low pressure. We observe the effects of the Ar pressure and the He ratio on the amplitude of laser
pulse. Compared with the laser spike of pure Ar, a mixture of Ar and a small quantity of He enhances the laser output. The
time of lasing onset and the duration of laser pulses are not affected by mixing He. In addition, a monochromator is used
to measure the laser pulse at 46.9 nm. This is the first observation of laser output with a Ar-He mixture. 相似文献
