The triphenylphosphine-catalyzed formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition of allenoates and trifluoromethylketones was realized to give the corresponding dihydrofurans in good yields with excellent γ-regioselectivities. Hydrogenation of the dihydrofurans gave 2,4,4-trisubstituted tetrahydrofurans in good yields with exclusive cis-selectivities.  相似文献

The Rh(II)-catalyzed reaction of dimethyl diazomalonate with aryl aldehydes and beta-nitrostyrenes results in the formation of highly substituted tetrahydrofurans. The reaction may be considered to involve the Huisgen dipolar cycloaddition of the carbonyl ylide, generated from the dicarbomethoxycarbene and the aldehyde, to the beta-nitrostyrene. The diastereoselectivity of the reaction may be attributed to the concerted nature of the carbonyl ylide cycloaddition.  相似文献

A novel formal [3+2] cycloaddition of cyclopropylacetals and aldehydes was developed, and the resulting trisubstituted tetrahydrofurans display three new chiral centers formed with highly diastereoselectivity. This method is stereocomplementary to most previously reported cycloadditions of malonate diesters, relies on the transient generation of cyclopropyl oxocarbenium ions, proceeds under mild conditions, and is based on the concept of temporary activation of an otherwise inert protecting group.  相似文献

A cycloaddition strategy for the synthesis of highly enantioenriched 2,5-cis-disubstituted tetrahydrofurans has been developed. In the presence of catalytic Sn(OTf)2 or SnCl4, a range of aldehydes will undergo formal [3 + 2] cycloadditions with a scalemic donor-acceptor cyclopropane to form optically active heterocycles. Mechanistic studies support an unusual SN2 attack by the aldehyde on the activated cyclopropane. Through this mechanism, stereochemical information contained in the cyclopropane is effectively transferred to the tetrahydrofuran products.  相似文献

Photoinduced electron transfer catalyzed ring opening of aryl-substituted oxiranecarbonitriles via Cβ-O bond cleavage was achieved using 2,4,6-triphenylpyrylium tetrafluoroborate (TPT) as a sensitizer and subsequent [3+2] cycloaddition reaction with electron-rich olefins afforded polysubstituted tetrahydrofurans in good to moderate yields.  相似文献

Quantum mechanical calculations show that N,N cycloaddition of alkenes and alkynes to s-tetrazines is possible as an alternative to the well-known C,C cycloaddition (Carboni-Lindsey reaction). A detailed account regarding a formal [3 + 3] cycloaddition method using 4-hydroxy-2-pyrones and 1,3-diketones is described here. This formal cycloaddition reaction or annulation reaction is synthetically useful for constructing 2H-pyranyl heterocycles. The usage of alpha,beta-unsaturated iminium salts is significant in controlling competing reaction pathways to give exclusively 2H-pyrans. Most significantly, experimental evidence is provided to support the mechanism of this reaction that involves a sequential Knoevenagel condensation and a reversible 6pi-electron electrocyclic ring-closure of 1-oxatrienes.  相似文献

The stereoselective synthesis of tetrahydrofurans was achieved by formal [3+2]-cycloaddition of allyl and crotylsilanes with alpha-triethylsilyloxy aldehydes. The scope of the reaction was examined by using different alpha-substituted aldehydes and different substituents on the silicon. Tamao oxidation of the products resulted in formation of diols that are easily functionalized allowing an entry to natural products synthesis. The formal total synthesis of the muscarine alkaloids (-)-allomuscarine and (+)-epimuscarine was achieved.  相似文献

An efficient method for the diastereo‐ and enantioselective construction of vicinal all‐carbon quaternary stereocenters through palladium‐catalyzed decarboxylative cycloaddition of vinylethylene carbonates with activated Michael acceptors was developed. By using a palladium complex generated in situ from [Pd2(dab)3]⋅CHCl3 and a phosphoramidite ligand as a catalyst under mild reaction conditions, the process provides multifunctionalized tetrahydrofurans bearing vicinal all‐carbon quaternary stereocenters in high yields with a high level of absolute and relative stereocontrol.  相似文献

The cocyclization reaction of pentacarbonyl(beta-amino-1-ethoxyalkenylidene)chromium complexes 1 with alkynes has been studied with respect to the effects of substituents, solvents, ligand additives, and reagent concentrations upon the product distribution. This reaction proceeds either as a formal [2 + 2 + 1] cycloaddition to give 5-(1'-dialkylaminoalkylidene)-4-ethoxycyclopent-2-enones 8 or a formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition to give 5-dialkylamino-3-ethoxy-1,3-cyclopentadienes 9. A working hypothesis for the mechanism of this reaction is proposed on the basis of that previously determined for the D?tz reaction. The effects of the aforementioned parameters upon the product distribution of this current reaction are explained in terms of this model. A pronounced ligand-induced allochemical effect has been observed. Conditions for the selective preparation of both classes of cycloadducts 8 and 9 have been determined.  相似文献

Donor-acceptor cyclopropanes activated with Me3SiOTf cleave to reactive intermediates that can be efficiently intercepted by nitriles in a formal [3 + 2] dipolar cycloaddition reaction. The palladium-catalyzed [3 + 2] cycloaddition of trimethylenemethane (TMM) with aldehydes is a direct and efficient route to methylenetetrahydrofurans. Herein we describe the first asymmetric synthesis of methylenetetrahydrofurans utilizing a palladium-TMM complex in the presence of a novel phosphoramidite ligand possessing a stereogenic phosphorus. The method allows for the formation of chiral disubstituted tetrahydrofurans in good yields and enantioselectivities.  相似文献

Photoexcitation of cyclic ketones leads to the expulsion of carbon monoxide and a mixture of products derived from diradical intermediates. Here we show that synthetic utility of this process is improved if strained heterocyclic ketones are used. Photochemistry of 3-oxetanone and N-Boc-3-azetidinone has not been previously described. Decarbonylation of these 4-membered rings proceeds through a step-wise Norrish type I cleavage of the C−C bond from the singlet excited state. Ylides derived from both compounds are high-energy species that are kinetically stable long enough to undergo [3+2] cycloaddition with a variety of alkenes and produce substituted tetrahydrofurans and pyrrolidines. The reaction has a sufficiently wide scope to produce scaffolds that were either previously inaccessible or difficult to synthesize, thereby providing experimental access to new chemical space.  相似文献
