5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-chloro-4-sulfophenyl)porphine (m-Cl-TPPS4) was synthesized and used for the Spectrophotometric determination of mercury by flow injection analysis. A pseudo-first-order reaction kinetic mechanism was proposed with a rate constant of 0.8 min–1 for Hg(II) withm-Cl-TPPS4 in the presence of 8-hydroxyquinoline in a medium of 1.0M acetic acid and sodium acetate buffer solution (pH 6.22). In the optimum conditions of reaction temperature (85 ° C), stopped-flow time (60 s) and sampling volume (100 l), the method's relative standard deviation was 0.82% (n = 12) at 5.0 g ml–1 mercury, with a linear range of 0–12.0 g ml–1 and an analytical frequency of 60h–1. The detection limit (3) was 0.025 g ml–1. Interference studies showed that most metal ions co-existing with Hg2+ could be tolerated at 100-fold excess levels, but Zn2+, Cu2+ and Mn2+ needed to be masked. The method has been applied to the analysis of water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The formation of nucleic acids/8-hydroxyquinoline/yttrium(III) ternary complexes and their fluorescent properties have been studied. The nucleic acids studied include native and thermally denatured calf thymus DNA, fish sperm DNA and yeast RNA. In the range of pH 7.6–8.5, controlled by NH3-NH4C1 buffer, ternary complexes are formed that fluoresce at different wavelengths with different nucleic acids. Based on the fluorescence reactions, sensitive spectrofluorimetric methods for nucleic acids are proposed. In optimal conditions, the calibration curves were linear in the range 0.5–4.0 gml–1 for calf thymus DNA, 0.5–2.5 g ml–1 for fish sperm DNA and 0.5–4.0 g ml–1 for yeast RNA. The limits of determination (3 ) were 0.030 g ml–1 for calf thymus DNA, 0.020 g ml–1 for fish sperm DNA and 0.090 g ml–1 for yeast RNA. Corresponding to the interferences of coexisting substances, six synthetic samples were constructed and the results of determination were satisfactory.  相似文献

Summary A rapid method for the simultaneous determination of pentachlorophenol (PCP) and Carbaryl in water is described. A 1 liter water sample is extracted with hexane after acidification with concentrated H2SO4. After evaporation to a small volume, the extract is analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, operating in the selected ion monitoring mode. Estimated detection limits are 0.08 g L–1 for PCP and 0.11 g L–1 for Carbaryl, with recoveries of 96% for PCP and 97% for Carbaryl.  相似文献

The adsorptive and electrochemical behaviors of medecamycin were investigated on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) pretreated by anodic oxidation at +1.8 V for 5 min in 0.025 mol l–1 NH3-NH4Cl (pH 8.6) solution. An adsorptive stripping voltammetric method for the determination of medecamycin at the pretreated glassy carbon electrode has been developed. Medecamycin was accumulated in NH3-NH4Cl buffer (pH 9.0) at a potential of –0.7 V (vs. saturated calomel electrode (SCE)) for a certain time, and then determined by second-order differential anodic stripping voltammetry. The second-order differential anodic stripping peak current at +0.72 V was proportional to the concentration of medecamycin in the range 2.0 g ml–1 to 50.0 g ml–1. The detection limit (three times the signal-to-noise) was 1.0 g ml–1 and the relative standard deviation of the results was 3.28% for eight successive determinations of 10.0 g ml–1 medecamycin. This method has been applied to the direct determination of medecamycin in commercial tablets and spiked urine samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A method for the determination of aldrin, dieldrin, DDT, DDE, and DDD contamination in animal fats (beef tallow, lard, and chicken fat) without using toxic reagents is developed, that uses high-performance liquid chromatography after the sample has been prepared by matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) with acidic alumina oxide. A reversed-phase C1-silica column with a mobile phase of 50% (v/v) ethanol solution (in water) and a photo-diode array detector were used for the determination. Average recoveries of the target compounds (0.2–5.0 g g–1) ranged from 84–98%, with coefficients of variation of <5%. The limits of quantitation were 0.16 g g–1 for AD, 0.10 g g–1 for DD, 0.06 g g–1 for DDT, 0.07 g g–1 for DDE, and 0.05 g g–1 for DDD. No toxic reagents were used at all.  相似文献

In a long-term field study at two locations with different air pollution levels several soot-selective measurement techniques were compared with a thermochemical method which measures non-extractable carbon (NEC) detecting the evolved CO2 by means of coulometric titration. The attenuation measurement technique (aethalometer) and the aerosol photoemission method showed good correlations to NEC for concentrations ranging from 1.6g/m3 to 40.8g/m3. The specific mass absorption coefficient of black carbon with respect to NEC varied between 8.4m2/g and 13.7m2/g with respect to the measurement sites, but the value was found to remain constant at each site independent of seasonal or meteorological variations. The ratio of photoelectric signal to NEC varied between 16 fA·(g/m3)–1 and 33 fA·(g/m3)–1 depending on the age of the aerosol. The diurnal variations of that ratio showed strong similarities to the traffic patterns. Additionally a slight temperature dependence of this ratio was found for the aged aerosol with a proportionality factor of – 0.35 fA·(K·g/m3)–1. With the reflectance measurement technique (smoke shade method) reliable NEC determination was not possible for NEC concentrations 5 g/m3.  相似文献

Summary Investigations on the polarographic and voltammetric behaviour of organic halogen compounds were carried out in order to obtain information on the redox properties and how to develop determination and detection methods. In this second report the dp-polarographic behaviour of the halogen substituted C2-compounds has been studied in different supporting electrolytes and in various solvents. The electrode processes are discussed and the possibilities for the polarographic determination of the C2-halogen hydrocarbons. The detection limit is 0.25 g · ml–1 and the linear current-concentration relationship is observed up to 25 g · ml–1. A simple and rapid method is proposed for the dp-polarographic determination of 1,2-dibromoethane in gasoline; the relative standard deviation for 20 g · ml–1 is ±1.8%.  相似文献

Summary Laser microprobe mass analysis (LAMMA) was applied to characterize aerosol particles collected and separated from 16m to 0.06m by a low pressure cascade impactor. Positive ion LAMMA spectra showed characteristic molecular peaks such as PbCl+, a series of Si2O+–Si2O4 + and NaAl2Si2O2 +–NaAl2Si2O5 +, and TiO+ in 0.06–0.12m, 0.5–1m and 4–8m fraction, respectively. In the negative ion LAMMA spectra, it was observed that the fragment peaks of sulfate ions were deficient above 2m and those of nitrate ions were deficient under 2m. LAMMA allows remarkable insights into the chemical nature of aerosol particles.

Zusammenfassung Laser-Microprobe-Spektrometrie (LAMMS) wurde zur Analyse atmosphärischen Aerosols herangezogen, welches im Korngrößenbereich zwischen 16m und 0.06m mit einem Niederdruckkaskadenimpaktor fraktioniert gesammelt wurde. Positive LAMMS-Spektren zeigten charakteristische molekulare Peaks, wie etwa PbCl+, eine Serie von Si2O+–Si2O4 + und NaAl2Si2O2 +–NaAl2Si2O5 +, sowie TiO+ in der 0,06–0,12-m,- 0,5–1–m- bzw. 4–8-m-Fraktion. In den negativen LAMMS-Spektren konnten über 2m keine Fragmentpeaks für Sulfationen, unter 2m. keine für Nitrationen beobachtet werden. LAMMS ermöglicht eine bemerkenswerte Einsicht in die chemische Natur von Aerosolteilchen.

A simple, rapid method for the spectrophotometric determination of niobium in trace amounts is presented, employing 3-hydroxyflavone as a ligand for the complexation of the metal ion and extracting the coloured complex into chloroform from 4M HClO4 solution. Beer's law is obeyed in the range 0.0 to 3.2 g ml–1 Nb(V), with a lower working limit of 0.1 g ml–1 Nb(V). Molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity of the complex at 395 nm are 4.088 × 104l mol–1 cm–1 and 0.002g Nb(V) cm–2, respectively. The stoichiometry of the complex is established as 12 by Job's and mole ratio methods. The method is free from the interference of a large number of analytically important elements. The proposed system handles satisfactorily the analysis of several samples of varying complexity. The results are highly reproducible with a relative standard deviation of 0.34% for 20 g of Nb.  相似文献

Differential pulse voltammetric methods have been developed for the simultaneous estimation of the constituents of uranium-iron and uranium-cadmium mixtures in solution. A mixture of 1M H3PO4–1M KH2PO4 (with a pH1.5), was found to be the most ideal supporting electrolyte for both methods, among many that were evaluated for their suitability. In uranium-iron mixtures the calibration for iron was found to be linear up to 150 g ml–1 (r2=0.9986), while that of uranium up to 500 g ml–1 (r2=0.999). Iron at 6.7 g ml–1 level could be determined in the presence of 800 fold uranium (wt/wt) without significant interference. Uranium at 21 g ml–1 level could be analyzed with 5-fold iron (wt/wt). This upper limit of iron was due to the precipitation of iron as phosphate. In the case of uranium — cadmium mixtures, cadmium calibration for cadmium was found to be linear up to 1300 g ml–1 (r2=0.9993). Concentration levels of 4.6 g ml–1 Cd could be determined at a 500-fold excess (wt/wt) of uranium. Uranium calibration was linear up to 500 g ml–1 (r2=0.999) and 21 g ml–1 uranium could tolerate up to a 1000-fold excess of cadmium (wt/wt). Both procedures could tolerate 10 g ml–1 levels of metal ions, such as chromium, copper, manganese, molybdenum and vanadium.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective method is described for the determination of neodymium in mixed rare earths using fourth-derivative spectrophotometry. The method is based on the absorption spectra of 4f electron transitions of the complex of neodymium with methyl thymol blue and cetylpyridinium chloride. The influence of various instrumental parameters and reaction conditions for maximum colour development are investigated. The calibration curve is linear over the range 0–3.5 g ml–1 neodymium. The relative standard deviation for determination of 1.4 g ml–1 neodymium (n = 7) is 1.6%. The detection limit (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) is 0.2 g ml–1.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung An einer stark befahrenen Straße in Wien wurden Messungen der Korngrößenverteilung des Staubes und der Sulfataerosole mittels 9stufiger Kaskadenimpaktoren durchgeführt. An derselben Meßstelle wurden Tagesgänge der Konzentrationen von Staub und wasserlöslichem Sulfat ermittelt. Parallel dazu wurden die Konzentrationen von SO2 (relativkonduktometrisch) und Ozon (Chemilumineszenzmethode) sowie die Parameter Temperatur und relative Feuchte registriert. Die 36 Tagesgänge mit einer Dauer von je 36 Stunden wurden zu gleichen Teilen im Winter- und Sommerhalbjahr 1978/79 gemessen. In allen Fällen wurde das SO4 2– nach Eluierung mit Wasser photometrisch nach der Thorinmethode bestimmt. Das Maximum der Korngrößenverteilung der Sulfate liegt zwischen 0,5 und 1m, diejenige des Staubes zeigt eine deutliche Trennung in Coarse- und Accumulation-Mode. Innerhalb einer Höhe von 20 m wurde im Mittel keine Vertikalvariation der Korngrößenverteilung der Sulfate gefunden. Die geometrischen Mittelwerte der Staubkonzentration betragen im Sommer (Winter) 208 (265)g/m3, diejenigen der Sulfatkonzentration 8,7 (16,2)g SO4 2–/m3. Die höchsten Sulfatwerte finden sich im Mittel untertags, Spitzenwerte der SO4 2–-Konzentration (bis zu 80g/m3) traten bei nebeligen Wetterlagen auf. Ein eindeutiger Zusammenhang zwischen der Sulfatkonzentration und dem Ozongehalt sowie den meteorologischen Parametern wurde nicht gefunden, die Korrelation zwischen Sulfat- und SO2-Konzentration ist gesichert positiv. Geschätzte Oxydationsraten liegen zwischen 0,5 und 4,5% SO2/h.
Sulfate aerosols in an urban field (Vienna)
Summary At a site beside a frequented street in the centre of Vienna measurements of the size-distribution of dust and sulfate aerosol were made using 9-stage-cascade-impactors. At the same site diurnal variations of the concentrations of dust (using a high-volume-sampler), water-soluble sulfates, SO2 (conductumetric) and ozone (chemiluminescence method) and the variations of temperature and relative humidity were registrated. The time resolution was 2 hours. The 36 diurnal variations (each of them with a duration of 36 hours) are distributed over 1978/79. In all cases SO4 2– was determined photometrically using the thorine-method. The size-distribution of dust shows the existence of coarse- and accumulation-mode. The maximum of the size-distribution of SO4 2– is between 0.5 and 1m aerodyn. diam. No vertical variation of SO4 2–-concentration could be observed up to a height of 20 m above ground. Geometric mean values of dust-concentration in summer (winter) are 208 (265)g/m3, of SO4 2–-concentration 8.7 (16.2)g/m3. Highest values of SO4 2–-concentration occured during daytime in the mean. High concentrations (up to 80g SO4 2–/m3) yielded under foggy weather conditions. Correlations are positive between SO4 2– and SO2 but positive or negative or even missing between sulfate and O3, relative humidity and temperature. Estimated oxidation rates are 0.5–4.5% SO2/h.

The absorption spectra of 4f electron transitions of the complexes of neodymium and erbium with 5,7-dibromo-8-hydroxyquinoline in the presence of octylphenol poly(ethyleneglycol)ether have been studied by normal and third-derivative spectrophotometry. The proposed method is free of interference of other rare earths. The calibration graphs were linear up to 18 g/ml of neodymium and 21 g/ml of erbium (in the final solution). The derivative molar absorptivities are 395 l.mol–1.cm–1 for neodymium and 3421.mol–1.cm–1 for erbium. The corresponding values of Sandell's sensitivity were 0.36 and 0.49 g.cm–1, respectively. The relative standard deviations evaluated from ten independent determinations of 2.5 g/ml of neodymium and erbium are 1.5 and 3.8% for neodymium and 1.8 and 4.1% for erbium in absence and presence of 70 g of lanthanum, respectively. The detection limits (signal to noise ratio=2) are 0.23 g/ml for neodymium and 0.30 g/ml for erbium. The method has been used for the determination of neodymium and erbium in mixed rare earths with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Cerium can be determined spectrofluorimetrically (em 350 nm, ex 260 nm) based on the relatively intense native fluorescence of the cerium(III) aquo-ion. The main potential interference in the analysis of steel from iron(III), cerium(IV) and chromium(VI) are removed by use of a carrier solution containing 2.5% w/v hydroxylammonium chloride. The slight residual interference from iron(II) can be corrected by a matrix matching factor linearly related to the amount of iron present. The calibration graphs are linear over the range 0–7 g ml–1 based on 250 l injection volumes. The sampling rate was 30 h–1. The relative standard deviation was 2.0% (n=5) at 3 g ml–1 cerium. The system has been applied to the determination of cerium in carbon or low alloy steels.  相似文献

Summary The application of first-derivative spectrometry to the simultaneous determination of palladium(II), platinum(IV) and gold(III) is described. Light absorption of stable chlorocomplexes formed in 1 mol/l hydrochloric acid provides the basis of their determinations. A difference in the derivative amplitudes between two first-derivative zero crossing points of one metal A is read, corrected for the contribution of metal B and used for quantitation of metal C. Palladium (0.48–20 g ml–1), platinum (0.16–24 g ml–1) and gold (0.32–24 g ml–1) have been determined with good precision and accuracy without any separations. Results are also presented for the simultaneous determination of the three precious metals in the presence of several major constituents.  相似文献

In the present paper, a simple and sensitive method is proposed for vanadium(IV) determination in the presence of vanadium(V). This is based on the oxidation of vanadium(IV) present in the sample to vanadium(V) by addition of iron(III) cation, followed by a complexation reaction of iron(II) with the spectrophotometric reagent 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (Br-PADAP). The iron(II) reacts with Br-PADAP immediately, forming a stable complex with a large molar absorptivity. The vanadium(IV) determination is possible, with a calibration sensitivity of 0.549 g ml–1, for an analytical curve of 18.8 ng ml–1 to 2.40 g ml–1, molar absorptivity of 2.80 × 104 1 mole–1 cm–1 and a detection limit of 5.5 ng ml–1. Selectivity was increased with the use of EDTA as a masking agent. The proposed method was applied for the vanadium(IV) determination in the presence of several amounts of vanadium(V). The results revealed that 200 g of vanadium(V) do not interfere with determination of 5.00 g of vanadium(IV). The precision and the accuracy obtained were satisfactory (R. S. D.<2%).  相似文献

Summary Simultaneous Determination of Chromium(VI) and Chromium(III) by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry with a Chelating Ion-Exchange Flow Injection System A simple method is described for the simultaneous determination of chromium(VI) and chromium(III) in a flow injection system comprising chelating ion-exchange and flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Sampling rates for 2001 and 1 ml sample volumes were 120 and 60 h–1 (240 and 120 speciations per hour), respectively. Typical relative standard deviations were 0.52% for Cr(VI) (0.50g ml–1 and 0.67% for Cr(III) (0.10,g ml–1) and the corresponding limits of detection were 85 ng ml–1, and 16 ng ml–1, respectively.On leave from University of Belgrade.  相似文献

The optimum conditions for the extractive spectrophotometric determination of dioxouranium(VI) with hexamethyleneiminecarbodithioate(HMICdt) have been established. Dioxouranium(VI) reacts with this ligand at pH 4.5 to form a yellowish-orange uncharged 12 metal-ligand complex which can be extracted by chloroform. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 1–20 g ml–1 of dioxouranium(VI) at 335 nm. The molar absorptivity of the extracted species is 5.952×103 l mol–1 cm–1 with Sandell's sensitivity of 0.04 g cm–2. The average of 10 determinations of dioxouranium was 49.75 g for the samples containing 50 g of U(VI) and the variation from the mean at 95% confidence limit was 49.75±0.5955.  相似文献

A new and simple method for selective spectrophotometric determination of uranium(VI) with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) and N-octylacetamide into benzene over pH 7.0–9.0 is described. The molar absorptivity of the complex with 9 different amides is in the range of (0.40–3.2)·104 1·mol–1·cm–1 at the absorption maximum. Out of these, the most sensitive compound N-octylacetamide (OAA) was chosen for detailed studies in the present investigation. The detection limit of the method is 0.008 g U·ml–1. The system obeys Beer's law in the range of 0–5 g U·ml–1. The method is free from interferences of most of the common metal ions except vanadium(V) and copper(II), which are masked by proper masking agents. The composition of the complex is determined by curve-fitting method. The method has been applied for the recovery of the metal from rock samples and synthetic mixtures.  相似文献

An upper bound can be set to the dipole moment of the X-H bond (with X+H polarity) for symmetrical molecules of XH4 and XH3 type from the experimental values of the g factor and bond length. The following upper bounds have been found to the bond dipole moments: CH4 (C+H<0.902 D, SiH4, (Si+H)<4.21 D, GeH4+ (Ge+H)<3.59 D, NH3 (N+H)<0, PH3 (P+H)<2.74 D. These results enable one to rule out certain published data on the dipole moment of the C-H bond in methane as certainly incorrect.
