We prove the strong law of large numbers for the linear combinations of functions of order statistics (L-statistics) based on weakly dependent random variables. We also establish the Glivenko-Cantelli theorem for ?-mixing sequences of identically distributed random variables.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the weighted bootstrap for U-statistics and its properties. Under very general choices of random weights and certain regularity conditions, we show that the weighted bootstrap method with U-statistics provides second-order accurate approximations to the distribution of U-statistics. We shall prove this via one-term Edgeworth expansions of weighted U-statistics.  相似文献

We first prove a local weighted integral inequality for conjugate A-harmonic tensors. Then, as an application of our local result, we prove a global weighted integral inequality for conjugate A-harmonic tensors in Ls(μ)-averaging domains, which can be considered as a generalization of the classical result. We consider single-item (r, q) and (s, T) inventory systems with integer-valued demand processes. While most of the inventory literature studies continuous approximations of these models and establishes joint convexity properties of the policy parameters in the continuous space, we show that these properties no longer hold in the discrete space, in the sense of linear interpolation extension and L?-convexity. This nonconvexity can lead to failure of optimization techniques based on local optimality to obtain the optimal inventory policies. It can also make certain comparative properties established previously using continuous variables invalid. We revise these properties in the discrete space.  相似文献

We provide estimates on the degree of C l GV determinacy ( G is one of Mather’s groups R or K ) of function germs which are defined on analytic variety V and satisfies a non-degeneracy condition with respect to some Newton polyhedron. The result gives an explicit order such that the C l geometrical structure of a function germ is preserved after higher order perturbations, which generalizes the result on C l G triviality of function germs given by M.A.S.Ruas.  相似文献

In this paper, we first establish collective fixed points theorems for a family of multivalued maps with or without assuming that the product of these multivalued maps is Φ-condensing. As an application of our collective fixed points theorem, we derive the coincidence theorem for two families of multivalued maps defined on product spaces. Then we give some existence results for maximal elements for a family of LS-majorized multivalued maps whose product is Φ-condensing. We also prove some existence results for maximal elements for a family of multivalued maps which are not LS-majorized but their product is Φ-condensing. As applications of our results, some existence results for equilibria of abstract economies are also derived. The results of this paper are more general than those given in the literature.  相似文献

We consider the mean squares of L-functions associated to modular forms with respect to Hecke congruence subgroups, expressing the mean value as an inner product. The aim of this paper is to prove the well-posedness (existence and uniqueness) of the Lp entropy solution to the homogeneous Dirichlet problems for the anisotropic degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations with Lp initial value. We use the device of doubling variables and some technical analysis to prove the uniqueness result. Moreover we can prove that the Lp entropy solution can be obtained as the limit of solutions of the corresponding regularized equations of nondegenerate parabolic type.  相似文献

If each t-subset of V occurs in exactly one block of P, then (V,P) is known as a Steiner (t,k,v)-design. In this paper, we construct a topological category of pretopological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces, which contains the category of topological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces as a bireflective full subcategory. Considering the connections with L-fuzzy topology, it is proved that the category of topological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces is isomorphic to the category of topological L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood spaces, and the latter is isomorphic to the category of L-fuzzy topological spaces. Moreover, we find that our pretopological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces can be characterized as a kind of L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood spaces, which is called strong L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood space.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to give a geometric interpretation of the reciprocity law of the Fourier-Dedekind sum given by M. Beck and S. Robins. In fact, the V-index of the spinc Dirac operator on the weighted projective space is equal to the dimension of the space of all weighted homogeneous polynomials of given degree, and this equality gives precisely the Beck-Robins reciprocity law. In this equality, the Fourier-Dedekind sums appear as the localization terms of the V-index of the spinc Dirac operators and have a relationship to the eta invariants of lens spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we consider coupled systems of p-Laplacian differential inclusions and we prove, under suitable conditions, that a homogenization process occurs when diffusion parameters become arbitrarily large. In fact we obtain that the attractors are continuous at infinity on L2(ΩL2(Ω) topology, with respect to the diffusion coefficients, and the limit set is the attractor of an ordinary differential problem.  相似文献

Given subset E of natural numbers FS(E) is defined as the collection of all sums of elements of finite subsets of E and any translation of FS(E) is said to be Hilbert cube. We can define the multiplicative analog of Hilbert cube as well. E.G. Strauss proved that for every ε>0 there exists a sequence with density >1−ε which does not contain an infinite Hilbert cube. On the other hand, Nathanson showed that any set of density 1 contains an infinite Hilbert cube. In the present note we estimate the density of Hilbert cubes which can be found avoiding sufficiently sparse (in particular, zero density) sequences. As a consequence we derive a result in which we ensure a dense additive Hilbert cube which avoids a multiplicative one.  相似文献

In this paper, the concept of a family of L-fuzzy pseudo-norms on vector spaces is proposed and the characterization of L-vector topologies in terms of a family of L-fuzzy pseudo-norms is presented. We establish Cramér type moderate deviation results for heavy trimmed L-statistics; we obtain our results under a very mild smoothness condition on the inversion F ?1 (F is the underlying distribution function of i.i.d. observations) near two points, where trimming occurs, we assume also some smoothness of weights of the L-statistic. Our results complement previous work on Cramér type large deviations for trimmed L-statistics [8] and [5].  相似文献

We employ positivity of Riesz functionals to establish representing measures (or approximate representing measures) for truncated multivariate moment sequences. For a truncated moment sequence y, we show that y lies in the closure of truncated moment sequences admitting representing measures supported in a prescribed closed set KRn if and only if the associated Riesz functional Ly is K-positive. For a determining set K, we prove that if Ly is strictly K-positive, then y admits a representing measure supported in K. As a consequence, we are able to solve the truncated K-moment problem of degree k in the cases: (i) (n,k)=(2,4) and K=R2; (ii) n?1, k=2, and K is defined by one quadratic equality or inequality. In particular, these results solve the truncated moment problem in the remaining open cases of Hilbert's theorem on sums of squares.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to define new generating functions. By applying the Mellin transformation formula to these generating functions, we define q-analogue of Riemann zeta function, q-analogue Hurwitz zeta function, q-analogue Dirichlet L-function and two-variable q-L-function. In particular, by using these generating functions, we will construct new generating functions which produce q-Dedekind type sums and q-Dedekind type sums attached to Dirichlet character. We also give the relations between these sums and Dedekind sums. Furthermore, by using *-product which is given in this paper, we will give the relation between Dedekind sums and q-L function as well.  相似文献
