Using the coherent density approach, we study the dark incoherent soliton splitting in biased photorefractive-photovoltaic crystals. We show that when the full width half maximum (FWHM) of the optical beam’s intensity is increased, the odd incoherent dark beam splits into an odd-number sequence of multiple dark stripes, whereas the even incoherent dark beam splits into an even-number sequence of multiple dark stripes. We find that when more incoherent solitons are generated, the separations between adjacent dark stripes become smaller and the stripes far away from the center become less visible and that for a given physical system and for a given splitting, the separations between adjacent dark stripes decrease with an increase in the intensity FWHM of the optical beam. On the other hand, the dark incoherent soliton splitting in biased photorefractive-photovoltaic crystals is the dark incoherent screening soliton splitting when the bulk photovoltaic effect is neglectable and the dark incoherent closed- and open-circuit photovoltaic soliton splitting when the external bias field is absent.  相似文献

The propagation of multiple mutually incoherent spatial solitons in biased photovoltaic–photorefractive crystals is investigated under steady-state conditions. It is shown that incoherently coupled bright–dark hybrid screening–photovoltaic soliton families can be established in the crystals provided that the mutually incoherent incident beams have the same polarization and the same wavelength. Relevant examples are presented where the photovoltaic–photorefractive crystal is taken to be lithium niobate. 为了得到闭路光折变有机聚合物中存在非相干耦合亮-暗光伏空间孤子对,采用数值模拟的方法,对稳态情况下两束互不相干的光束,在闭路光伏光折变有机聚合物中的传播进行了研究。结果表明,具有相同偏振和相同波长的两束互不相干的光束,可在光伏光折变有机聚合物中形成非相干耦合亮-暗光伏孤子对。在给定适当参量或扰动不太大的情况下,孤子对中的亮孤子和暗孤子都能在光伏光折变有机聚合物中稳定传播。研究结果可为光折变有机聚合物空间孤子理论的发展提供理论依据。  相似文献

Based on the theory of one-dimensional separate soliton pairs formed in a serial photovoltaic photorefractive crystal circuit, the effects of the dark soliton crystal temperature on the self-deflection of the bright one in a bright-dark soliton pair are investigated. The numerical results indicate that the spatial shift of the bright soliton can experience obvious increase in their self-deflection with the increase of the temperature of the dark soliton. The self-bending process is further studied using perturbation techniques and the results are found to be good agreement with that obtained by numerical method.  相似文献

采用数值方法研究了在一个具有扩散效应的光伏光折变晶体中的非相干耦合的亮和暗光伏空间孤子对的偏转特性.结果表明,由于非相干相互作用,晶体中的一个亮孤子和一个暗孤子互相俘获,且两个孤子的中心沿着相同的轨迹移动.发现,当亮孤子的入射峰值强度不变时,通过调节暗孤子的入射背景强度可以控制亮孤子的偏转;当暗孤子的入射背景强度处于一个特殊值时,亮孤子的偏转被抑制,而当暗孤子的入射背景强度偏离这个特殊值时,亮孤子发生偏转.同样,当暗孤子的入射背景强度不变时,其偏转可以通过调节亮孤子的入射峰值强度来控制.  相似文献

We have investigated incoherent interaction between photovoltaic bright–bright soliton pairs in photorefractive crystals under steady-state condition in an unbiased series two-photon photorefractive crystal circuit in one dimension. The numerical scheme according to the Crank-Nicholson and Runge-kutta methods are applied to simulate the propagation of incoherent interaction for different normalized separation distances and different E0. Results show that in the case of one-dimensional interaction between these photovoltaic solitons, attraction occurs and width of beams decreases with increasing biased field E0 and two soliton interact in longer distance for smaller E0. The result can be used for design optical switches that controlled by biased field.  相似文献

The propagation and interaction of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons in strongly nonlocal kerr media is investigated. Numerical simulations show that the interaction properties of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons are different from the case in local media. The interactions of nonlocal incoherent white-light solitons are always attractive independent of their relative phase, while the other parameters such as the extent of nonlocality and the input power have a great impact on the soliton interactions. Pertinent numerical examples are presented to show their propagation and interaction behaviour further.  相似文献

We present the evolution equation of one-dimensional spatial soliton in two-photon photorefractive media under open-circuit conditions. We investigate numerically the interaction of nonlocal incoherent spatial solitons in strongly nonlocal kerr media based on the coherent density approach. Numerical simulations show that the incoherent soliton position is very similar to the case of coherent soliton, and show that the incoherence plays an important role in the soliton interaction, while the role of other parameters such as the phase difference, the separation, the extent of nonlocality and the input power play in the interaction is very similar to the case of nonlocal coherent soliton. Some interesting numerical examples are presented to illustrate their interaction behavior further. Pertinent physics features are addressed.  相似文献

为了得到双光子非相干耦合光伏孤子族的结果,采用数值模拟方法,对稳态情况下多束互不相干的光束在双光子光伏光折变晶体中的传播进行了研究。结果表明:具有相同偏振和相同波长的多束互不相干的入射光束可在晶体中形成双光子非相干耦合光伏孤子族。当入射光束中仅包含两个分量时,孤子族就转化为光伏孤子对。并用双光子光伏光折变晶体Cu:KNSBN和LiNbO3进行了分析说明。研究结果可为空间光孤子理论的发展提供理论依据。  相似文献

The incoherently coupled grey-grey screening-photovoltaic spatial soliton pairs are predicted in biased two-photon photovoltaic photorefractive crystals under steady-state conditions. These grey-grey screening-photovoltaic soliton pairs can be established provided that the incident beams have the same polarization, wavelength, and are mutually incoherent. We present the observation of incoherent anti-dark photovoltaic solitons in LiNbO3:Fe crystal. This new class of soliton states involves bright photovoltaic solitons on a background beam meeting ?? > 1, where ?? is the ratio of background illumination photovoltaic constant to that of soliton beam. For ?? < 1, dark photovoltaic solitons are generated. Furthermore, this novel type solitons are investigated experimentally by injecting coherent light and partially coherent background of infinite extent. In case of spatial coherence of the background lower than the threshold of incoherent modulation instability, these results indicate that bright photovoltaic solitons can propagate in a stable fashion.  相似文献

To study the grey spatial soliton families in biased two-photon photovoltaic photorefractive crystal, the dynamical evolution equation and the numerical solution of the grey spatial soliton families were established. The numerical results show that the incoherently coupled screening-photovoltaic grey soliton families can be established provided the multiple incident beams have the same polarization, wavelength, and are mutually incoherent. The screening-photovoltaic grey soliton families can be considered as the united form of screening grey soliton families and open- or closed-circuit photovoltaic grey soliton families due to two-photon photorefractive effect.  相似文献
