We discuss the generation of certain kinds of multi-component entangled states for three-level atomic system with hyperfine structure. The method proposed here is based on the interactions of dispersive cavity with only one atom driven by a strong classical field. It is shown that, with a judicious choice of the cavity detuning and applied coherent field detuning, the atom can interact dispersively with the quantized field but the classical driving field gives rise to the creation or destruction of photons conditional on the state of the system. In comparison with previous schemes,our method is likely to be extremely easy to realize in practice  相似文献

The interaction of a two-level atom uniformly moving along a classical trajectory with a high-Q cavity quantum mode is analyzed. The dressed-state method is used to derive a recurrence formula for the transition probability of the atom with photon emission; the temporal dynamics of this probability qualitatively depends on the Doppler shift of the atomic transition frequency, on the Rabi frequency of the atom-field system, and on the detuning of the atomic transition frequency from the field mode frequency. The emission dynamics of a moving atom is very sensitive to the detuning. Rabi-type oscillations with a frequency equal to the Doppler shift can arise under certain conditions. At resonance, the emission probability of a moving atom can considerably exceed the emission probability of an atom at rest. A plane-parallel-mirror cavity and a confocal spherical-mirror cavity are considered. It is shown that the peculiarities of Doppler-Rabi oscillations must be taken into account in micromaser theory.  相似文献

We have studied the dynamics and transfer of the entanglement of the two identical atoms simultaneously interacting with vacuum field by employing the dressed-state representation. The two atoms are driven by classical fields. The influence of the initial entanglement degree of two atoms, the coupling strength between the atom and the classical field and the detuning between the atomic transition frequency and the frequency of classical field on the entanglement and atomic linear entropy is discussed. The initial entanglement of the two atoms can be transferred into the entanglement between the atom and cavity field when the dissipation is neglected. The maximally entangled state between the atoms and cavity field can be obtained under some certain conditions. The time of disentanglement of two atoms can be controlled and manipulated by adjusting the detuning and classical driving fields. Moreover, the larger the cavity decay rate is, the more quickly the entanglement of the two atoms decays.  相似文献

研究了非共振耗散二能级双原子与双单模腔耦合系统发射光谱的性质。探讨了原子和腔场之间的失谐、腔场衰减率及原子失相对该系统发射光谱的影响。结果表明,体系的腔场谱呈现出三重峰结构,原子发射谱呈现出二重峰结构。非共振情况时,腔场谱和原子发射谱的图像皆为非对称图像。在原子与腔场失谐时,与共振情况相比,峰位发生了明显的漂移,且中峰明显增大。增大腔场与原子的失谐,会引起边峰向低频段漂移,并改变其光谱强度;增大原子与腔场的失谐,可以使光谱整体向低频段漂移,并改变其所有峰的光谱强度。随着腔场衰减率的增大,共振情况下,会导致边峰的强度减小;失谐情况下,会导致所有峰的强度均减小。随着原子失相的增大,共振或失谐情况下,会使光谱所有峰的强度均减小。  相似文献

We consider the case that the two-level atom off-resonantly interacts with cavity field via a one-photon hopping in double Jaynes-Cummings system. Geometrical quantum discord (GQD) is adopted to quantify the degree of correlation between two subsystems. GQD dynamics between two atoms, between cavity fields, as well as between atom and cavity fields are studied. The influences of detuning on GQD are discussed. The results obtained using the numerical method show that GQD between two atoms, between cavity fields, and between atom and cavity fields all display periodic oscillations. Furthermore, their periodic oscillations frequencies increase with the increase of detuning. On the other hand, GQD between two cavity fields and that between atom and cavity are weakened with increase of detuning.

A method is proposed for generating conditional single-photon states with a high degree of purity in a single-mode cavity by successive discrete photodetection. The cavity is pumped by resonance fluorescence emission from a source atom driven by a classical field. The cavity is tuned to a Mollow sideband. A relation between detector parameters is found that makes it possible to interpret the detection of a probe atom in the excited state as unambiguous evidence that a pure single-photon state has been prepared in the cavity. An expression is derived for the prior probability of such an event, and dependence of the one-photon state population of the cavity field on detuning, relaxation rate, and time is examined.  相似文献

The effect of intrinsic damping on the interaction between a two-level atom and a multi-photon cavity field in the presence of an external classical field is studied. Under certain conditions and use of a transformation, the system is transformed to a generalized Jaynes Cummings model, with the influence of classical field included in the detuning parameter. The temporal evolution of some statistical aspects such as, the atomic inversion, the squeezing phenomena and linear entropy are obtained. In addition, we present the effects of the intrinsic damping and detuning parameters on the above mentioned quantities, for one and two photons. The entropy is used as a measure of the degree of entanglement, and consequently discussed.  相似文献

By using the theory of cavity QED, we study the system in which a two-level atom interacts with a cavity in the case of large detuning. Through the selective detecting of atomic state, Schrodinger cat states and entangled coherent states are easily generated. When the atom is driven by a weak classical field and the cavity field is in the Schrodinger cat state, we study the conditions of generating the Fock states and the maximal success probability. The maximal success probability in our scheme is larger than the previous one.  相似文献

We propose a method of generating multipartite entanglement by considering the interaction of a system of N two-level atoms in a cavity of high quality factor with a strong classical driving field. It is shown that, with a judicious choice of the cavity detuning and the applied coherent field detuning, vacuum Rabi coupling produces a large number of important multipartite entangled states. It is even possible to produce entangled states involving different cavity modes. Tuning of parameters also permits us to switch from Jaynes-Cummings to anti-Jaynes-Cummings-like interaction.  相似文献

采用全量子理论方法,研究了处于耗散腔中的双原子与单模相干光场相互作用系统,分析了双原子与光场之间以及两原子之间的纠缠演化特性,讨论了腔场的衰减以及原子与光场间的失谐量对双原子与光场之间以及两原子之间纠缠演化特性的影响.结果表明,当腔场存在损耗时,原子与光场之间可出现纠缠,但在长时极限下,纠缠逐渐消灭|而失谐量对原子与光场间的纠缠存在着显著影响|初始处于最大纠缠的两原子之间的纠缠,由于光场的衰变而逐渐减弱,但原子-光场之间的失谐可抑制这一衰减.  相似文献

We present a scheme to prepare cluster-type entangled squeezed vacuum states (CTESVS) by considering the two-photon interaction between a two-level atom and a high-quality cavity, driven by a strong classical field. After the realization of simple atomic measurements, the generation of CTESVS in four separate cavities is accomplished within the cavity decay time. In the case of large atom=cavity detuning, the scheme is immune to the effect of atomic spontaneous emission.  相似文献

The stability and instability of quantum evolution are analyzed in the interaction of a two-level atom with a quantized-field mode in an ideal cavity with allowance for photon recoil, which is the basic model of cavity QED. It is shown that the Jaynes-Cammings quantum dynamics can be unstable in the regime of the random walk of the atom in the quantized field of a standing wave in the absence of any interaction with the environment. This instability is manifested in large fluctuations of the quantum entropy, which correlate with a classical-chaos measure, the maximum Lyapunov exponent, and in the exponential sensitivity of the fidelity of the quantum states of the strongly coupled atom-field system to small variations of resonance detuning. Numerical experiments reveal the sensitivity of the atomic population inversion to the initial conditions and to correlation between the quantum and classical degrees of freedom of the atom.  相似文献

研究了由光纤模连接的两个Tavis-Cummings模型中纠缠演化和纠缠转移的特性。结果表明,初始两原子间的纠缠可转移为另两原子间的纠缠,在纠缠转移过程中,光纤模起到中间传递的作用。纠缠的转移与初始两原子间的纠缠、原子与腔场的耦合强度以及光纤模与腔场的耦合强度、原子与腔场的失谐量和腔场耗散有关。初始纠缠决定了另两原子间纠缠产生的大小;在原子与腔场的耦合强度一定的条件下,随着光纤模与腔场耦合强度的增强,纠缠转移的时间缩短,且产生的纠缠值增加;腔场耗散对纠缠演化的衰减影响是显著的,而失谐量的增加可以有效地抑制这一现象。在整个纠缠转移过程中,系统中其他任两子体系间的纠缠起到了桥梁的作用,实现了两量子纠缠态的远程传递和制备。  相似文献

We investigate the quantum dynamics of a two-photon micromaser pumped by atoms injected in the superposition state of the upper and intermediate levels. We simulate a master equation governing the system by the Monte Carlo wavefunction approach and analyse the steady-state behaviour as a function of the atomic transit time. The atomic coherence can effectively enhance the intensity and sub-Poissonian of the cavity field as compared with the atomic mixture. It is also discovered that the phase of the cavity field can be shifted by adjusting the detuning between the atom and field. This result shows that it is possible to manipulate the phase of the cavity field by detuning, due to atomic coherence.  相似文献

We study the entanglement between a single five-level atom interacting with a one-mode cavity field in the case where the atomic motion is taken into account. The field entropy of this system is investigated under the nonresonant conditions. The effects of the detuning parameter and the atomic motion on the degree of entanglement are investigated. We show that both the detuning and atomic motion play important roles in the evolution of the von Neumann entropy and atomic populations.  相似文献

处理了包含克尔效应和斯塔克效应的原子与场相互作用模型。由于在其有效哈密顿中作了旋转波近似,两种效应的影响可以归结为对原子与场失谐的改变,这种失谐变化依赖于一个系统的守恒量。研究表明,克尔效应和斯塔克效应在一定条件下是等价的。研究了当场的初态为宏观可区分量子迭加态时,光子的反聚束效应。探讨了在广义的克尔介质中原子与场相互作用模型的求解。  相似文献
