We study fundamental properties of product (α1, α2)-modulation spaces built by (α1, α2)-coverings of ℝn1 × ℝn2. Precisely we prove embedding theorems between these spaces with different parameters and other classical spaces. Furthermore, we specify their duals. The characterization of product modulation spaces via the short time Fourier transform is also obtained. Families of tight frames are constructed and discrete representations in terms of corresponding sequence spaces are derived. Fourier multipliers are studied and as applications we extract lifting properties and the identification of our spaces with (fractional) Sobolev spaces with mixed smoothness.

A Banach space X possesses the PC (point of continuity) property if for any w-closed bounded subset A ? X the identity map (A,w)→(A, ∥ ? ∥) has a point of continuity (w is the weak topology in X). We deduce some criteria for Banach spaces to have the PC property and describe (for dual Banach spaces) relationships between spaces possessing the PC property and spaces possessing the RN or the WRN property.

Closure systems (spaces) play an important role in characterizing certain ordered structures. In this paper, FinSet-bounded algebraic closure spaces are introduced, and then used to provide a new approach to constructing algebraic domains. Then, a special family of algebraic closure spaces, algebraic L-closure spaces, are used to represent algebraic L-domains. Next, algebraic approximate mappings are defined and serve as the appropriate morphisms between algebraic closure spaces, respectively, algebraic L-closure spaces. On the categorical level, we show that algebraic closure spaces (respectively, algebraic L-closure spaces,) each equipped with algebraic approximate mappings as morphisms, are equivalent to algebraic domains (respectively, algebraic L-domains) with Scott continuous functions as morphisms.

Let X be a projective smooth holomorphic Poisson surface, in other words, whose anti-canonical bundle is effective. We show that moduli spaces of certain Bridgeland stable objects on X are smooth. Moreover, we construct Poisson structures on these moduli spaces.

Following a lead given by I.W. Alderton, it is shown that the MacNeille completion and the universal initial completion coincide for the categories of zero-dimensional fuzzy T0-topological spaces, T0-fuzzy closure spaces, 2T 0-fuzzy bitopological spaces, and T 1-fuzzy topological spaces and that these turn out to be respectively the categories of zero-dimensional fuzzy topological spaces, fuzzy closure spaces, fussy bitopological spaces, and fuzzy R 0 topological spaces.  相似文献

We prove analogues of P. L. Ul’yanov and V. A. Andrienko results concerning embeddings of Lq Hölder spaces into Lebesgue spaces Lr or Lr Hölder spaces in the case 1 ≤ q < r ≤ 2 for functions defined on p-adic linear spaces. The conditions presented in these theorems are sharp. Also we give necessary and sufficient conditions for such embeddings in the case 1 ≤ q < r < ∞ that generalize recent results of S. S. Platonov.

We prove, in particular, that if E is a Dedekind complete atomless Riesz space and X is a Banach space then the sum of a narrow and a C-compact laterally continuous orthogonally additive operators from E to X is narrow. This generalizes in several directions known results on narrowness of the sum of a narrow and a compact operators for the settings of linear and orthogonally additive operators defined on Köthe function spaces and Riesz spaces.

We give conditions for boundedness of Hausdorff operators on real Hardy spaces H1 over homogeneous spaces of locally compact groups with local doubling property. Special cases of the hyperbolic plane and 2-sphere are considered. In this cases Hausdorff operators look as orbital like integrals.

The category US of uniform spaces has been generalised in various ways. The category FUS, of fuzzy uniform spaces and the category GUS, of generalised uniform spaces have both been shown to be good extensions in the sense that US can be embedded into them. We show here that the category SUS, of super uniform spaces also enjoys this property and furthermore, the categories FUS and GUS can be embedded into SUS.  相似文献

We extend Newman and Keldysh theorems to the behavior of sequences of functions in Hp (μ) which explain geometric properties of discs in these spaces. Through Keldysh's theorem we obtain asymptotic results for extremal polynomials in Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

A categorical characterization of the category Haus of Hausdorft topological spaces within the category Top of topological spaces is given. A notion of a Hausdorff nearness space is then introduced and it is proved that the resulting subcategory Haus Near of the category Near of nearness spaces fulfills exactly the same characterization as derived for Haus in Top. Abstract

In this paper, the concept of strong inclusion orders between L-subsets is introduced. As a tool, it is applied to the following aspects. Firstly, the notion of algebraic L-closure operators is proposed and the resulting category is shown to be isomorphic to the category of L-convex spaces (also called algebraic L-closure spaces). Secondly, restricted L-hull operators, as generalizations of restricted hull operators, are introduced and the resulting category is also proved to be isomorphic to the category of L-convex spaces. Finally, by using the properties of strong inclusion orders, it is shown that the category of convex spaces can be embedded in the category of stratified L-convex spaces as a reflective subcategory and the concrete form of the coreflective functor from the category of L-convex spaces to the category of stratified L-convex spaces is presented.  相似文献

We introduce Littlewood–Paley decomposition related to q-Rubin's operator, this allows us to provide a dyadic characterization of Sobolev, Hölder and Lebesgue spaces associated with the q-Rubin's operators and to establish some embedding results for these spaces. Abstract

If every infinite closed subset of the Wallman compactification, WX, of a space X must contain at least one element of X, then for any space Y intermediate between X and WX the Wallman compactification WY is homeomorphic to WX. This extends a property which characterizes normality inducing spaces. Abstract

The notation of I–convergence was introduced and studied by Kostyrko, Macaj, Salat, and Wilczynski. Recently, the concept of I–convergent for a sequence of bounded linear operators has been studied by Khan and Shafiq. This has motivated us to introduce and study some new spaces of double sequences of bounded linear operators and their basic topological and algebraic properties of these spaces. Summary Regularity theorems inL 2, θ (ω, δ) spaces are proved for weak solutions of quasielliptic differential equations. In particular, regularization results are obtained in the class of holder continuous functions (with respect to a suitable metric related to the operator). As a consequence, we obtain results and estimates in Lp andL p, θ spaces for the solution of the Dirichlet problem.

Abstract

We consider the following two selection principles for topological spaces:

Principle 1: For each sequence of dense subsets, there is a sequence of points from the space, the n-th point coming from the n-th dense set, such that this set of points is dense in the space;

Principle 2: For each sequence of dense subsets, there is a sequence of finite sets, the n-th a subset of the n-th dense set, such that the union of these finite sets is dense in the space.

We show that for separable metric space X one of these principles holds for the space Cp (X) of realvalued continuous functions equipped with the pointwise convergence topology if, and only if, a corresponding principle holds for a special family of open covers of X. An example is given to show that these equivalences do not hold in general for Tychonoff spaces. It is further shown that these two principles give characterizations for two popular cardinal numbers, and that these two principles are intimately related to an infinite game that was studied by Berner and Juhász.  相似文献
