运用平面波展开法分析As2S3、Ge20Se65Sb15和As2Se3硫系玻璃光纤在不同空气填充率下的带隙分布图,分析结果表明三种材料在空气填充率提高到0.75时,光子带隙与空气线均出现交汇模式,且带隙宽度大,纤芯空气孔中适宜进行激光传输.运用有限元法分析不同纤芯孔直径的Ge20Se65Sb15硫系玻璃空芯光子带隙光纤的基模限制损耗和有效模场面积,结果表明纤芯直径9.2μm时限制损耗最低,模场面积较小.通过优化光纤的结构参量,适合于4.3μm波长处高功率中红外激光传输的空芯光子带隙光纤,其限制损耗为0.00472dB/m,有效模场面积为58.046μm2. 相似文献

实现了使用光子带隙光纤的一体化谐振式光纤陀螺方案,设计并制作了谐振腔中基于微光学结构的耦合器。实验测得制作的谐振腔清晰度为3.7。搭建了基于该谐振腔的陀螺系统,并对其主、次偏振态的谐振曲线进行了实际测量。实验结果测得该系统60 s零漂为2.45 ()/s,及1 h长期稳定性为7.11 ()/s。同时,实现了对应陀螺输出50 ()/s(积分时间10 s)及100 ()/s(积分时间10 s)的模拟转速实验,验证了该陀螺系统的Sagnac效应。分析得到耦合损耗是影响该陀螺系统性能的主要因素。验证了该谐振腔结构具有应用于陀螺系统的可行性,为谐振式光纤陀螺性能进一步提高提供了参考。 相似文献

利用全矢量平面波展开法(FVPWM)对采用改进的两次堆积法制备的空芯光子带隙光纤进行了数值模拟.在特定传播常数β下,光纤在500—1000 nm的波段内出现多条宽窄不同的有效光子带隙.依据有效折射率的不同,部分带隙中的空气-导模将以不同的形式存在.经过实验测试,发现测得的带隙位置相对于模拟结果向短波段发生了较明显的移动,主要原因被认为是光纤结构的纵向不均匀性和包层节点处间隙孔的存在.

设计了基于断环结构的全固光子带隙光纤,其背景材料为熔石英而断环结构由若干掺杂的高折射率介质柱构成.基于平面波展开法计算得到的态密度图和Bloch模场分布表明,该种光纤中的一个高阶带隙可以得到调节并被极大展宽,带隙调节的基本原理是断环可以同时控制包层介质柱的线偏振模式的角向和径向模式阶数.研究表明,断环中的介质柱数目决定了受影响最小的一组线偏振模式的最高角向阶数,而带隙宽度受介质柱尺寸影响很大.这一宽的高阶带隙可以用来设计带隙中心分别在800和1550 nm、带宽分别为488和944 nm的全固光子带隙光纤

The confinement losses in air-guiding photonic bandgap fibers (PBGFs) with air hole missing are studied with full-vector finite-element method. It is confirmed that there are two loss peaks (1.555 and 1.598 μm), if there is a hole missing in the cladding far from the core. The closer to the core the hole missing is, the larger the confinement losses are, even no mode could propagate in the core. The main power of the fundamental mode leaks from the core to the cladding defect. The quality of PBGFs can be improved through controlling the number and position of defects. 相似文献

本文研究了纤芯结构对空芯光子晶体光纤光子带隙和传输损耗的影响,得到了适合光纤制备工艺的纤芯结构.首先利用平面波展开法计算了一定占空比三角形结构的空芯光子晶体光纤的带隙结构,给出了在传输波长λ=1.55μm时光纤的结构参数值,并模拟了纤芯直径对带隙位置和大小的影响,得出纤芯直径的取值范围,通过分析泄露损耗特性得出纤芯壁厚的取值.然后根据分析结果设计出了光纤端面图,运用全矢量有限元法模拟出在不同纤芯直径的情况下的模场分布,通过对比分析得出光纤的最佳纤芯半径R为1.6以-1.75A.研究结果表明,选择合适的纤芯结构既能满足空芯光子晶体光纤的光子带隙和损耗特征,又可以适当降低光纤制备工艺的难度. 相似文献

fibers (PLCFs) are presented. The propagation properties of PLCFs strongly depend on contrast between refractive indices of
the solid core (pure silica glass) and liquid crystals (LCs) filing the holes of the fiber. Due to relatively strong thermo-optical
effect, we can change the refractive index of the LC by changing its temperature. Numerical analysis of light propagation
in PLCF, based on two simulation methods, such as finite difference (FD) and multipole method (MM) is presented. The numerical

大模场单模光纤在高功率激光器、高功率光传输和高灵敏度传感器等领域具有重要意义.设计了一种新型超低损耗大模场单模光纤,包层空气孔由掺氟硅玻璃棒代替,掺氟硅玻璃棒排列呈六重准晶体结构.基于有限元法对光纤的传输特性进行了数值模拟.研究了光纤结构参量变化对模式特性和有效模场面积的影响.结果表明:波长在1064 nm处,有效模场面积高达5197μm2,基模的限制性损耗低于10-5dB/km,解决了大模场与低损耗之间的冲突;在1064—2000 nm波段内,基模与二阶模的限制性损耗相差7个量级,实现单模传输;半径为10 cm时,弯曲损耗小于0.01 dB/m,具有良好的低弯曲损耗特性.此光纤能够提高光纤热损伤阈值,减少接续损耗,全固态结构有效避免了空气孔塌陷,简化制备工艺,对高功率激光传输、光纤激光器和光纤放大器的发展具有重要意义. 相似文献
