1-Alkynyl(phenyl)-lambda 3-iodanes undergo selective transfer of the alkynyl groups over the phenyl group onto diphenyl chalcogens. Exposure of 1-alkynyl(phenyl)-lambda 3-iodanes to diphenyl chalcogens (S, Se, and Te) in dichloromethane or 1,2-dichloroethane affords 1-alkynyl(diphenyl)sulfonium, -selenonium, and -telluronium salts in high yields.  相似文献

An efficient method for generation of alpha-lambda3-iodanyl ketones from (Z)-(2-acetoxyvinyl)(phenyl)-lambda3-iodanes was developed. The method involves ester exchange of (Z)-2-acetoxyvinyl-lambda3-iodanes with methanol in the presence of triethylamine. alpha-lambda3-Iodanyl ketones react with a variety of nucleophiles such as halides, thiols, phosphines, phosphinic acids, and phosphates, under the conditions which produce alpha-functionalized carbonyl compounds probably via an S(N)2 pathway.  相似文献

Exposure of (E)-beta-alkylvinyl(phenyl)-lambda3-iodanes to thioamides in dichloromethane at room temperature was found to result in a bimolecular nucleophilic substitution (S(N)2) at the vinylic carbon atom to give inverted (Z)-enethiols and/or (Z)-S-vinylthioimidonium salts. In the presence of triethylamine, (Z)-(2-acetoxy-1-alkenyl)phenyl-lambda(3)-iodanes react with thioureas or thioamides in MeOH to give 2,4-disubstituted thiazoles directly in good yields. The reaction probably involves generation of highly reactive alpha-lambda(3)-iodanyl ketones through ester exchange of the beta-acetoxy group with liberation of methyl acetate, followed by nucleophilic substitutions with thioureas or thioamides.  相似文献

Monoaryl-λ3-iodanes are potentially attractive arylating agents. They are generally synthesized from aryl iodides via oxidation, which can cause functional group incompatibility, especially when polyfunctionalized derivatives are desired. This work describes the direct synthesis of monoaryl-λ3-iodanes through a chemoselective ipso-substitution reaction of arylgermanes and arylstannanes with iodine tris(trifluoroacetate). The generated iodanes were converted to iodonium ylides or used for further transformations in one pot. The presented method enables the preparation of polyfunctionalized monoaryl-λ3-iodanes.  相似文献

Reported here for the first time are the synthesis, structure, and reaction of hypervalent 1-alkynyl(aryl)-lambda3-bromanes. BF3-catalyzed ligand exchange on bromine(III) of p-trifluoromethylphenyl(difluoro)-lambda3-bromane with 1-alkynyl(trimethyl)stannanes in dichloromethane at -78 degrees C afforded 1-alkynyl(aryl)-lambda3-bromanes in good yields. Trimethyl(trimethylsilylethynyl)stannane gave silylethynyl-lambda3-bromane selectively. 13C NMR chemical shifts of acetylenic carbon atoms of alkynylbromanes are compared with those of alkynyl-lambda3-iodanes and explained in terms of the spin-orbit-induced heavy atom effects. The structure of tert-butylethynylbromane was established by a single-crystal X-ray analysis of its crown ether complex. The 1-alkynyl(aryl)-lambda3-bromanes serve as highly electron-deficient Michael acceptors and undergo tandem Michael-carbene rearrangements by the reaction with sulfonate anions, yielding 1-alkynyl sulfonates.  相似文献

Herein, a [3+2] cycloaddition of aza-oxyallylic cations with ethynylbenziodoxolones for synthesis of new λ3-iodanes containing spirocyclic 4-oxazolidinone has been developed. This cyclic λ3-iodanes display stability in air and excellent solubility in organic solvent. Using them as substrate, both the 4,1-benzoxazepine-2,5-diones and symmetrical 1,3-diynes derivatives were afforded in high yield under copper(I)-catalyzed conditions.  相似文献

Reported here for the first time are the stereoselective synthesis and reaction of simple silver (Z)-enethiolates, which serve as stabilized (Z)-enethiol storage. In contrast to labile enethiols, silver (Z)-enethiolates are stable even in solutions, and their isolation and purification are very simple. The method for synthesis of silver (Z)-enethiolates involves an unusual vinylic SN2 reaction of (E)-vinyl-lambda3-iodanes with thiobenzamides yielding the inverted (Z)-S-vinylthioimidonium salts, followed by their regioselective C-S bond cleavage with silver acetate. Alkylation, arylation, and Michael addition of silver (Z)-enethiolates yielding (Z)-vinyl sulfides were dramatically accelerated by the addition of Bu4NI (LiI), which probably generates reactive ammonium (Z)-enethiolates with an increased nucleophilicity.  相似文献

Reported here for the first time are the synthesis and characterization of supramolecular complexes between diaryl-lambda(3)-iodanes and 18-crown-6 (18C6). Slow evaporation of solvents afforded 1:1 and 2:1 complexes between Ph(2)IBF(4) and 18C6 as stable crystals, depending on the conditions. X-ray crystal structures of these complexes indicated that each iodine atom contacts with the three adjacent oxygen atoms of 18C6 through two hypervalent secondary bonding and a weak interaction. (1)H NMR analyses and CSI-MS spectra showed that, in dichloromethane solution, Ph(2)IBF(4) exclusively forms the 1:1 complex with 18C6 (binding constant K(a), 1.02 x 10(3) M(-)(1)). The binding constants decrease with the increased solvent donor ability (Gutmann's DN). Changing the heteroatom ligand from BF(4) to the less nucleophilic PF(6) and AsF(6) increased the binding constant by about six times. Substitution of an electron-withdrawing group onto the para position of Ph(2)IBF(4) tends to increase in the complex stability. A linear Hammett relationship (rho = 0.59) between log K(a) and sigma(p)(+) values of substituents indicates that the diaryl-lambda(3)-iodanes with electropositive iodine(III) interact more efficiently with 18C6. Decreased binding magnitude was measured with 15C5, dibenzo-18C6, dibenzo-21C7, and dibenzo-30C10.  相似文献

Exposure of 1-alkenyl(phenyl)- and 1-alkynyl(phenyl)-λ3-iodanes to THF at room temperature in the presence of a catalytic amount of trialkylborane results in smooth reduction to give 1-iodo-1-alkenes and 1-iodo-1-alkynes as major products, respectively. The key step in the reductions probably involves a single-electron transfer from α-tetrahydrofuryl radical to the λ3-iodanes, which generates the labile [9-I-2] iodanyl radicals.  相似文献

Reported here for the first time is the iodobenzene-catalyzed alpha-oxidation of ketones, in which diacyloxy(phenyl)-lambda3-iodanes generated in situ act as real oxidants of ketones and m-chloroperbenzoic acid serves as a terminal oxidant. Oxidation of a ketone with m-chloroperbenzoic acid in acetic acid in the presence of a catalytic amount of iodobenzene, BF3.Et2O, and water at room temperature under argon affords an alpha-acetoxy ketone in good yield. p-Methyl- and p-chloroiodobenzene also serve as efficient catalysts in this direct oxidation. We found that when the reaction was carried out in the absence of a catalytic amount of iodobenzene, Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of a ketone took place. It is noted that use of water and BF3.Et2O is crucial to the success of this alpha-acetoxylation.  相似文献

Slow evaporation of a solution of 1-decynyl(phenyl)(tetrafluoroborato)-λ3-iodane and 18-crown-6 in dichloromethane-diethyl ether-hexane gave a supramolecular 1:1 complex, while 3,3-dimethyl-1-butynyl- and phenylethynyl(phenyl)(tetrafluoroborato)-λ3-iodanes afforded 2:1 complexes. Complexation with 18-crown-6 increased the thermal stability of the phenylethynyl-λ3-iodane. Solid state and solution structures of these complexes were examined by single crystal X-ray analyses, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, and cold-spray ionization MS. The synthesis and application of some new hypervalent iodine compounds bearing chiral and achiral ester motives derived from easily accessible starting materials is presented. The oxidation is carried out using dimethyldioxirane as an oxidant providing the desired compounds in moderate to high yields. A crystal structure analysis for one iodine(V) derivative is investigated. The λ5-iodanes are applied as stoichiometric reagents in the oxidation of thioanisole to phenylmethyl sulfoxide, benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde, and meso-hydrobenzoine to benzaldehyde, benzyl, and benzoin.  相似文献

Both stereoisomers of β-(2-phenylethoxy)vinyl-λ3-iodane and (Z)-β-aroyloxyvinyl-λ3-iodane were prepared stereoselectively. These substituted vinyl-λ3-iodanes undergo nucleophilic vinylic substitutions with n-Bu4NX (X=Cl, Br, I) under mild conditions, yielding vinyl halides. The observed inversion of configuration at the ipso vinylic carbon atom is compatible with a concerted vinylic SN2 mechanism. Kinetic measurements indicated that the rates for vinylic SN2 reaction of (Z)-vinyl-λ3-iodane are greater than those of the E-isomer, probably because of the higher ground state energy of the Z-isomer. Electronic effects of β-substituents of vinyl-λ3-iodanes in the vinylic SN2 reaction are also discussed.  相似文献
