A linear operator T between two lattice-normed spaces is said to be p-compact if, for any p-bounded net xα, the net Txα has a p-convergent subnet. p-Compact operators generalize several known classes of operators such as compact, weakly compact, order weakly compact, AM-compact operators, etc. Similar to M-weakly and L-weakly compact operators, we define p-M-weakly and p-L-weakly compact operators and study some of their properties. We also study up-continuous and up-compact operators between lattice-normed vector lattices.  相似文献

We study the dependence on ε in the critical dimension k(n,p,ε) for which one can find random sections of the ?pn-ball which are (1+ε)-spherical. We give lower (and upper) estimates for k(n,p,ε) for all eligible values p and ε as n, which agree with the sharp estimates for the extreme values p=1 and p=. We study the local discrepancy of a symmetrized version of the well-known van der Corput sequence and of modified two-dimensional Hammersley point sets in arbitrary base b. We give upper bounds on the norm of the local discrepancy in Besov spaces of dominating mixed smoothness Sp,qrB([0,1)s), which will also give us bounds on the Lp-discrepancy. Our sequence and point sets will achieve the known optimal order for the Lp- and Sp,qrB-discrepancy. The results in this paper generalize several previous results on Lp- and Sp,qrB-discrepancy estimates and provide a sharp upper bound on the Sp,qrB-discrepancy of one-dimensional sequences for r>0. We will use the b-adic Haar function system in the proofs.  相似文献

For an odd prime p, we calculate the mod-p homology of SU(n)-gauge groups over a simply-connected, closed 4-manifold for all n2. Similar calculations are obtained for the structure groups Sp(n) when n1 and Spin(n) for n3 (except for some cases when n is even and p=3).  相似文献

Let A be a pre-defined set of rational numbers. We say that a set of natural numbers S is an A-quotient-free set if no ratio of two elements in S belongs to A. We find the maximal asymptotic density and the maximal upper asymptotic density of A-quotient-free sets when A belongs to a particular class.It is known that in the case A={p,q}, where p, q are coprime integers greater than 1, the latter problem is reduced to the evaluation of the largest number of non-adjacent lattice points in a triangle whose legs lie on the coordinate axes. We prove that this number is achieved by choosing points of the same color in the checkerboard coloring.  相似文献

We consider global behaviour of viscous compressible flows with spherical symmetry driven by gravitation and an outer pressure, outside a hard core. For a general state function p=p(ρ), we present global-in-time bounds for solutions with arbitrarily large data. For non-decreasing p, the ω-limit set for the density ρ is studied. For increasing p, uniqueness and static stability of the stationary solutions (including variational aspects) are investigated. Moreover, stabilization rate bounds toward the statically stable solutions are given and their nonlinear dynamical stability is shown.  相似文献
