Some projection algorithms are suggested for solving the system of generalized mixed variational inequalities, and the convergence of the proposed iterative methods are proved without any monotonicity assumption for the mappings in Banach spaces. The purpose of this paper is to study the solvability for vector mixed variational inequalities (for short, VMVI) in Banach spaces. Utilizing Ky Fan’s Lemma and Nadler’s theorem, we derive the solvability for VMVIs with compositely monotone vector multifunctions. On the other hand, we first introduce the concepts of compositely complete semicontinuity and compositely strong semicontinuity for vector multifunctions. Then we prove the solvability for VMVIs without monotonicity assumption by using these concepts and by applying Brouwer’s fixed point theorem. The results presented in this paper are extensions and improvements of some earlier and recent results in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, using the approximate duality mapping, we introduce the definition of weak sharpness of the solution set to a mixed variational inequality in Banach spaces. In this paper, we consider an extension of the notion of well-posedness by perturbations, introduced by Zolezzi for a minimization problem, to a mixed variational inequality problem in a Banach space. We establish some metric characterizations of the well-posedness by perturbations. We also show that under suitable conditions, the well-posedness by perturbations of a mixed variational inequality problem is equivalent to the well-posedness by perturbations of a corresponding inclusion problem and a corresponding fixed point problem. Also, we derive some conditions under which the well-posedness by perturbations of a mixed variational inequality is equivalent to the existence and uniqueness of its solution.  相似文献

Various existence results for variational inequalities in Banach spaces are derived, extending some recent results by Cottle and Yao. Generalized monotonicity as well as continuity assumptions on the operatorf are weakened and, in some results, the regularity assumptions on the domain off are relaxed significantly. The concept of inner point for subsets of Banach spaces proves to be useful.This work was completed while the first author was visiting the Graduate School of Management of the University of California, Riverside. In this paper, we introduce and consider a new system of general variational inequalities involving four different operators. Using the projection operator technique, we suggest and analyze some new explicit iterative methods for this system of variational inequalities. We also study the convergence analysis of the new iterative method under certain mild conditions. Since this new system includes the system of variational inequalities involving three operators, variational inequalities and related optimization problems as special cases, results obtained in this paper continue to hold for these problems. Our results can be viewed as a refinement and improvement of the previously known results for variational inequalities.  相似文献

In this work, we study some existence results for solutions for a class of strong vector variational inequalities (for short, SVVI) in Banach spaces. The solvability of the SVVI without monotonicity is presented by using the fixed point theorems of Brouwer and Browder, respectively. The solvability of the SVVI with monotonicity is also proved by using the Ky Fan lemma. Our results give a positive answer to an open problem proposed by Chen and Hou.  相似文献

In this paper, a new concept of η-proximal mapping for a proper subdifferentiable functional (which may not be convex) on a Banach space is introduced. An existence and Lipschitz continuity of the η-proximal mapping are proved. By using properties of the η-proximal mapping, a new class of general mixed variational inequalities is introduced and studied in Banach spaces. An existence theorem of solutions is established and a new iterative algorithm for solving the general mixed variational inequality is suggested. A convergence criteria of the iterative sequence generated by the new algorithm is also given.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a weak sharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP) in a reflexive, strictly convex and smooth Banach space, and present its several equivalent conditions. We also prove, under some continuity and monotonicity assumptions, that if any sequence generated by an algorithm for solving (VIP) converges to a weak sharp solution, then we can obtain solutions for (VIP) by solving a finite number of convex optimization subproblems with linear objective. Moreover, in order to characterize finite convergence of an iterative algorithm, we introduce the notion of a weak subsharp set of solutions to a variational inequality problem (VIP), which is more general than that of weak sharp solutions in Hilbert spaces. We establish a sufficient and necessary condition for the finite convergence of an algorithm for solving (VIP) which satisfies that the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP), and show that the proximal point algorithm satisfies this condition. As a consequence, we prove that the proximal point algorithm possesses finite convergence whenever the sequence generated by which converges to a weak subsharp solution of (VIP).  相似文献

In this paper, utilizing the properties of the generalized f -projection operator and the well-known KKM and Kakutani–Fan–Glicksberg theorems, under quite mide assumptions, we derive some new existence theorems for the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequality and the generalized set-valued mixed quasi-variational inequality in reflexive and smooth Banach spaces, respectively. The results presented in this paper can be viewed as the supplement, improvement and extension of recent results in Wu and Huang (Nonlinear Anal 71:2481–2490, 2009).  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new approach to the problem of finding a common zero for a system of m‐accretive mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space with a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm. We propose an implicit iteration method and two explicit ones, based on compositions of resolvents with the steepest‐descent method. We show that our results contain some iterative methods in literature as special cases. An extension of the Xu's regularization method for the proximal point algorithm from Hilbert spaces onto Banach ones under simple conditions of convergence and a new variant for the method of alternating resolvents are obtained. Numerical experiments are given to affirm efficiency of the methods.  相似文献

We consider some new iterative methods for solving general monotone mixed variational inequalities by using the updating technique of the solution. The convergence analysis of these new methods is considered and the proof of convergence is very simple. These new methods are versatile and are easy to implement. Our results differ from those of He [1,2], Solodov and Tseng [3], and Noor [4–6] for solving the monotone variational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, a general system of nonlinear variational inequality problem in Banach spaces was considered, which includes some existing problems as special cases. For solving this nonlinear variational inequality problem, we construct two methods which were inspired and motivated by Korpelevich’s extragradient method. Furthermore, we prove that the suggested algorithms converge strongly to some solutions of the studied variational inequality.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study some iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of solutions of systems of variational inequalities for inverse-strongly accretive mappings and the set of fixed points of an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in uniformly convex and 2-uniformly smooth Banach space or uniformly convex and q-uniformly smooth Banach space. Strong convergence theorems are obtained under suitable conditions. We also give some numerical examples to support our main results. The results obtained in this paper improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we suggest and analyze a relaxed viscosity iterative method for a commutative family of nonexpansive self-mappings defined on a nonempty closed convex subset of a reflexive Banach space. We prove that the sequence of approximate solutions generated by the proposed iterative algorithm converges strongly to a solution of a variational inequality. Our relaxed viscosity iterative method is an extension and variant form of the original viscosity iterative method. The results of this paper can be viewed as an improvement and generalization of the previously known results that have appeared in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, using sunny generalized nonexpansive retractions which are different from the metric projection and generalized metric projection in Banach spaces, we present new extragradient and line search algorithms for finding the solution of a J-variational inequality whose constraint set is the common elements of the set of fixed points of a family of generalized nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a pseudomonotone J-equilibrium problem for a J -α-inverse-strongly monotone operator in a Banach space. To prove strong convergence of generated iterates in the extragradient method, we introduce a ? ?-Lipschitz-type condition and assume that the equilibrium bifunction satisfies this condition. This condition is unnecessary when the line search method is used instead of the extragradient method. Using FMINCON optimization toolbox in MATLAB, we give some numerical examples and compare them with several existence results in literature to illustrate the usability of our results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of differential mixed variational inequalities in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. Under various conditions, we obtain linear growth and bounded linear growth of the solution set for the mixed variational inequalities. Moreover, we present some conclusions which enrich the literature on the mixed variational inequalities and generalize the corresponding results of [4]. In particular we prove existence theorems for weak solutions of a differential mixed variational inequality in the weak sense of Carathéodory by using a result on differential inclusions involving an upper semicontinuous set-valued map with closed convex values. Also by employing the results from differential inclusions we establish a convergence result on Euler time-dependent procedure for solving initial-value differential mixed variational inequalities.  相似文献
