通过气液反应制备了纳米WO3光催化剂,并用紫外吸收光谱、粉末X射线衍射(XRD)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能量散射谱(EDS)等手段对催化剂进行了表征.讨论了乙二醇加入量和表面活性剂十二烷基苯磺酸钠对催化剂粒度大小和形貌的影响.结果表明:当水和乙二醇的比例为25:75时所得WO3粒径为30 nm左右.在此比例条件下加入0.1 g表面活性剂十二烷基苯磺酸钠,可制得片状WO3,粒径约为80 nm.对自制的两种纳米WO3光催化剂在紫外光照射时降解苯酚的活性进行了初步探讨,两者的催化性能均明显优于商品WO3.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe how WO(3) hollow spheres have been synthesized in solution phase by the controlled hydrolysis of WCl(6) using novel carbon microspheres as the templates. All of the products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The as-synthesized spheres had large diameters of about 400 nm and thin shells of about 30 nm composed of numerous small nanocrystals. Prompted by the porous structure and small crystal size of the shell wall, we constructed WO(3) hollow-sphere gas sensors and found that these sensors had good sensitivity to alcohol, acetone, CS(2), and other organic gases.  相似文献

In research on alternative photoanode materials for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs), there is rarely any report on WO(3), probably due to its acidic surface and more positive (vs NHE) conduction band edge position compared to TiO(2) and ZnO. For the first time, dye-sensitized solar cells based on porous WO(3) nanoparticle films were successfully fabricated with efficiency of up to 0.75%. The multicrystalline structure of WO(3) was examined by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. It was found that significant performance enhancement can be obtained from treating the WO(3) nanoparticle film with TiCl(4); the TiCl(4)-treated WO(3) DSCs were recorded with efficiency reaching 1.46%.  相似文献

Hexagonal and monoclinic tungsten trioxides WO3 and hexagonal lithium tungstates Li x WO3+ x /2 (x = 0.10–0.42) from a soft chemistry route were used as the active cathode material in secondary lithium batteries. The hexagonal structures, regardless of their being an oxide or a tungstate, showed higher specific capacities and better cycling behavior in Li+ intercalation reactions than the monoclinic form. The presence of pre-allocated lithium (as Li2O) in hexagonal tungstates decreased the capacity for lithium intercalation. Additionally, the plot of open-circuit voltage (OCV) against the depth of intercalation (n) for anhydrous tungstates showed two straight lines with different slopes that can be related to the structural changes in lithium intercalation. The effective diffusion coefficients of lithium insertion into the host structure, , were also found to be dependent on the structure and the composition of these compounds. The energy payback time associated with the semiconductor active material is an important parameter in a photovoltaic solar cell device. Thus lowering the energy requirements for the semiconductor synthesis step or making it more energy-efficient is critical toward making the overall device economics more competitive relative to other nonpolluting energy options. In this communication, combustion synthesis is demonstrated to be a versatile and energy-efficient method for preparing inorganic oxide semiconductors such as tungsten trioxide (WO3) for photovoltaic or photocatalytic solar energy conversion. The energy efficiency of combustion synthesis accrues from the fact that high process temperatures are self-sustained by the exothermicity of the combustion process, and the only external thermal energy input needed is for dehydration of the fuel/oxidizer precursor mixture and bringing it to ignition. Importantly, we show that, in this approach, it is also possible to tune the optical characteristics of the oxide semiconductor (i.e., shift its response toward the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum) in situ by doping the host semiconductor during the formative stage itself. As a bonus, the resultant material shows enhanced surface properties such as markedly improved organic dye uptake relative to benchmark samples obtained from commercial sources. Finally, this synthesis approach requires only very simple equipment, a feature that it shares with other "mild" inorganic semiconductor synthesis routes such as sol-gel chemistry, chemical bath deposition, and electrodeposition. The present study constitutes the first use of combustion synthesis for preparing WO3 powder comprising nanosized particles.  相似文献

Nanostructured WO(3) has been developed as a promising water-splitting material due to its ability of capturing parts of the visible light and high stability in aqueous solutions under acidic conditions. In this review, the fabrication, photocatalytic performance and operating principles of photoelectrochemical cells (PECs) for water splitting based on WO(3) photoanodes, with an emphasis on the last decade, are discussed. The morphology, dimension, crystallinity, grain boundaries, defect and separation, transport of photogenerated charges will also be mentioned as the impact factors on photocatalytic performance.  相似文献

Self-organized nanoporous layers of WO3 were grown by anodization, and their electrochemical and electrochromic properties were investigated and compared to compact anodic layers. As-formed WO3 layers had an amorphous structure but could be transferred to a monoclinic structure by thermal annealing treatment. Compared to the compact layer, the nanoporous WO3 layer showed strongly enhanced ion intercalation capacity with reversible characteristics during electrochemical cycling processes. The nanoporous structures showed a significantly enhanced electrochromic contrast, faster switching response, and less sensitivity to intercalation loss by crystallization.  相似文献

以壳聚糖(CS)为辅助材料,利用层层自组装方法(LbL)制备了WO3复合薄膜材料(CS/WO3).采用紫外-可见吸收光谱(UV-Vis)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和循环伏安扫描(CV)等手段对CS/WO3纳米复合材料的形貌和电化学性能进行了表征.利用电化学和UV-Vis联机技术研究了复合材料的电致变色性能.结果表明,该复合材料呈现出从无色到蓝色的颜色调变,其光反差可达48.0%,着色效率为58.5cm2/C,着色与褪色时间分别为9.5和1.8s.  相似文献

Ammonium oxofluorotungstates, (NH4)2WO2F4 and (NH4)3WO3F3, are characterized by vibration spectroscopy and quantum chemistry methods with the use of NMR 19F and 1H data. It is shown in the approximation of the density-functional theory that in isolated octahedrons [WO2F4]2? and [WO3F3]3? the mutual arrangement of oxygen atoms in cis-position corresponds to the energy minimum. The presence of intraspheric disorder in [WO3F3]3? (unlike [WO2F4]2?) explains the complex character of vibrational spectra of this anion and eliminates existent in the literature differences in their interpretation (between C 2v and C 3v structure variants). Models of intraspheric dynamics of [WO3F3]3? are discussed.  相似文献

Patterned TiO2 stripes were formed on a sol-gel crystalline WO3 film by using a chemically modified sol-gel method (pat-TiO2/WO3), and the coupling effect on the photocatalytic activity was studied. Although the photoinduced electron transfer from TiO2 to WO3 was confirmed by labeling and visualization of the reduction sites with Ag particles, the photocatalytic activities of TiO2 for both the gas-phase oxidation of CH3CHO and the liquid-phase oxidation of 2-naphthol decreased significantly with the coupling. This finding was rationalized in terms of the decrease in the rate of the electron transfer from the semiconductor-(s) to 02 with the coupling, which was estimated from the kinetic analysis of the photopotential relaxation. When the excited electrons were removed by a SnO2 underlayer, the WO3 film exhibited a high photocatalytic activity exceeding that of TiO2 for the oxidation of 2-naphthol.  相似文献

Composites {Me2(WO4)3 ? xWO3} (Me = Sc, In) (x = 0.5–99%) are synthesized and characterized by XRD and electron microscopy methods and also by the density and specific surface measurements. Temperature dependences of the total conductivity of composites are measured. The contributions of σtot and σel are assessed by the $\sigma (a_{O_2 } )$ and EMF methods. The concentration dependences of conductivity and activation energy are plotted based on the σtot and σion data. It is shown that (a) in the interval x = 0–30 vol % WO3 (0–70 mol %), the conductivity is independent of composition and the ionic component prevails; (b) in the interval x = 60–94.5 vol % (90–99 mol %), the electron conductivity prevails and increases with the increase in x; (c) in the x interval of 30–60 vol % WO3 (70–90 mol %), the conductivity is mixed, i.e., electron(n-type)-ionic; the latter region represents the transition interval from ionic to electron conductivity as x increases. These data are compared with the results obtained earlier for MeWO4-WO3 composites (Me = Ca, Sr, Ba). As regards the structural topology, the {Me2(WO4)3 ? xWO3} composites pertain to the randomly distributed type. It is shown that in contrast to {MeIIWO4 · xWO3} composites, the composites under study do not form the nonautonomous interface phase with the high ionic conductivity. The possible reasons for the observed differences in the topology and the conduction type of composites based on MeWO4 and Me2(WO4)3 are analyzed.  相似文献

In situ growth of metal particles on 3D urchin-like WO3 nanostructures   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Metal/semiconductor hybrid materials of various sizes and morphologies have many applications in areas such as catalysis and sensing. Various organic agents are necessary to stabilize metal nanoparticles during synthesis, which leads to a layer of organic compounds present at the interfaces between the metal particles and the semiconductor supports. Generally, high-temperature oxidative treatment is used to remove the organics, which can extensively change the size and morphology of the particles, in turn altering their activity. Here we report a facile method for direct growth of noble-metal particles on WO(3) through an in situ redox reaction between weakly reductive WO(2.72) and oxidative metal salts in aqueous solution. This synthetic strategy has the advantages that it takes place in one step and requires no foreign reducing agents, stabilizing agents, or pretreatment of the precursors, making it a practical method for the controlled synthesis of metal/semiconductor hybrid nanomaterials. This synthetic method may open up a new way to develop metal-nanoparticle-loaded semiconductor composites.  相似文献

Stable tungsten oxide coating sols suitable for electrochromic applications were prepared by a modified peroxotungstic acid route. Layers up to 250 nm thickness could be deposited on ITO-coated and/or FTO-coated glass substrates in a single dip-coating process. Optoelectrochemical measurements were employed to determine the variation of the electrochromic properties (change in optical density (OD) and switching times) of WO3-layers, investigated as a function of coating parameters, such as chamber humidity and the temperature of heat treatment. High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) has shown that the optimized layers possess a partially crystalline morphology with nanocrystalline regions 2–3 nm in size.  相似文献

采用直流磁控溅射法结合阳极氧化法在铝基纳米点阵上制备氧化钨(WO3)纳米棒. 运用原子力学显微镜(AFM), 电子扫描显微镜(SEM), X射线衍射仪(XRD), 电化学工作站(EW)和紫外-可见分光光度计(UV)观察表征了WO3纳米棒的表面形貌、结构、光学性能和电致变色性能. 结果表明: 在溅射过程中, 溅射粒子优先沉积于铝基纳米点阵的凸点上, 然后成核并形成棒状; WO3纳米棒的直径约为200 nm, 与铝基纳米点阵的直径一致, 拥有一定的电致变色性能.  相似文献
