A comparative study of the thermomagnetic memory effects of J c in two weakly pinned low T c superconductors, Ca3Rh4Sn13 (CaRhSn) and Yb3Rh4Sn13 (YbRhSn), is presented. In both the systems, the peak effect (PE) phenomenon appears as an order-disorder transformation through stepwise amorphization of the flux line lattice (FLL). However, in CaRhSn. we can witness another disorder-driven transition (Bragg glass (BG) to a vortex glass (VG) in a distinct manner as in a single crystal of high T c YBa2Cu3O7-δ for Hc.  相似文献

Ternary transition metal chalcogenides (TTMCs) have attracted interest due to the discovery of their Weyl semimetallic property and the recent synthesis of layered TTMCs which are regarded as potential candidates for two-dimensional (2D) topological insulators. Here, employing first-principles calculations, we predicted the emergence of non-trivial band topologies in the monolayer MM'X4 family (M= V, Nb, or Ta; M' = Co, Rh, or Ir; and X = Se or Te) within hybrid functional calculations. Five of eighteen 2D materials were found to be topological insulators, while four of them are magnetic thin films. The nontrivial topologies were verified via the calculated Z2 topological invariant and topologically protected edge states. Further calculations showed a strain-induced phase transition in VCoTe4 from a magnetic phase to a nonmagnetic topological insulating phase. Our comprehensive study revealed a diverse family of monolayer ternary transition metal chalcogenides adding new members to the current catalog of 2D topological insulators and 2D magnetic materials.  相似文献

The series of whitlockite compounds Ca3(PO4)2 and Ca9Ln(PO4)7 (Ln = Pr, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Lu) was studied in radioluminescence (RL) and thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) excited by X-rays. f-f emission lines of Ln3+ were observed in RL for Ca9Ln(PO4)7 (Ln = Pr, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er) whereas d-d emission band of the impurity Mn2+ was observed in Mn:Ca3(PO4)2 and Mn:Ca9Lu(PO4)7 at 655 nm. In TSL, the Eu, Ho and Er compounds did not show any signal. As Eu3+, Ho3+ and Er3+ present the highest Ln3+/Ln4+ ionization potential (IP) of the series, this was interpreted as the inability of these lanthanides to trap a hole. On the contrary Pr3+ in Ca9Pr(PO4)7, Tb3+ in Ca9Tb(PO4)7, Dy3+ in Ca9Dy(PO4)7, Mn2+ in Mn:Ca3(PO4)2 and Mn:Ca9Lu(PO4)7 were identified as hole traps and radiative recombination centers in the TSL mechanism. Ca9Tb(PO4)7 was found to be a high intensity green persistent phosphor whereas Mn:Ca9Lu(PO4)7 is a red persistent phosphor suitable for in vivo imaging application.  相似文献

Changes in the spin state of Co3+ ions in LaCoO3 and GdCoO3 compounds are studied through the use of the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility and the modified crystal field theory. It is shown that the spin subsystem of Co3+ ions in LaCoO3 and GdCoO3 undergoes the spin-crossover type transition between the high-spin (S = 2) and low-spin (S = 0) states without any contribution of the intermediate-spin state (S = 1).  相似文献

A catalytic dense membrane reactor allows to physically separate the oxygen feed from the reactant (hydrocarbon) feed with a catalytic membrane chosen among oxide ion conducting materials. The membrane plays a double role, it provides the oxygen needed for selective oxidation and acts as a catalyst. The catalytic properties of BIMEVOX (ME = Co, Cu, Ta) membranes were examined in the mild oxidation of propene and of propane. During the complex transient state observed when the surface is rough, the nature and distribution of products are different from those obtained with mirror-polished membranes in a former work. In particular, syngas is formed with propene as well as with propane, and it precedes the production of hydrogen and coke. The complex behaviour differs according to ME and seems to be related to the different nature of electron semi-conduction induced by each dopant.  相似文献

MWO4:Sm3+ (M = Ca, Sr and Ba) red phosphors with spherical microparticles were successfully prepared via a mild and facile hydrothermal route. The crystal structure and particle morphology were investigated by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), respectively. Photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra and decay curve were used to characterize the luminescence properties of the MWO4:Sm3+ phosphors. The excitation spectra indicate that MWO4:Sm3+ phosphors can be excited effectively by the UV InGaN light-emitting diode (LED), and the emission spectra show that the phosphors can emit strong red light from 600 to 650 nm. Therefore, it is considered to be a new promising red phosphor for white LED application.  相似文献

Density functional theory is used to study oxygen adsorption and its effect on surface segregation in (2 1 1) surfaces of Pt(shell)/M(core) and Pt3M (M = Co, Ir) alloys. It is found that the most energetically favorable oxygen adsorption site is the bridge site over and parallel to the (1 0 0) step. Surface segregation phenomena is observed in Pt3Co, Pt3Ir and Pt/Co(core) systems. The Pt/Ir(core) structure was the only one, among the studied systems, that showed antisegregation behavior even in presence of oxygen adsorbed.  相似文献

The cobalt-doped lanthanum–nickel oxide system, La4Ni(3−x)CoxO10±δ (0.0  x  3.0, Δx = 0.2), was investigated as possible cathode materials for intermediate-temperature solid-oxide fuel cells. X-ray diffraction shows the presence of two structural phases in the series belonging to Bmab for 0.0  x  0.2, 0.8  x  2.0 and 2.6  x  3.0 and Fmmm for 0.4  x  0.6 and 2.2  x  2.4. All compositions are oxygen-deficient (δ < 0). Electrical conductivity measurements show a systematic decrease in the conductivity as cobalt content increases from x = 0.0 to 2.0, and reverses for x > 2.0. AC impedance measurements of the x = 0.4 composition in symmetrical cells with LSGM as an electrolyte show improved electrode performance over the parent nickelate La4Ni3O9.78. Long-term thermal stability studies show the x = 0.4 composition to be more stable than the x = 3.0 phase after annealing at 1173 K in air for 1 week making this material a viable candidate for cathodes in solid oxide fuel cells.  相似文献

Lightly doped La2−xSrxCuO4 (x = 0.04) nanoparticles with different particle sizes have been successfully prepared by a sol–gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared transmission (IR) spectra and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer. All samples are single phase and have an orthorhombic unit cell. As the particle size reduces, it is found that the IR band at around 685 cm−1 corresponding to the in-plane Cu–O asymmetrical stretching mode shifts to higher frequency and the magnetization exhibits a large enhancement at low temperature. The magnetic susceptibility of all samples follows a modulated Curie law between ∼20 K and ∼100 K and the Curie constant displays a strong dependence on the particle size. It is suggested that as the particle size decreases surface effects should play an important role in the magnetic properties of the nanoparticles.  相似文献

Structural distortions arising from the condensations of two essential kinds of phonon modes: the triply degenerate rotational modes (phix, phiy, phiz) of MnO(6) and the doubly degenerate Jahn-Teller active modes (Q1, Q2) have been systematically investigated in the perovskite manganites. Microstructural features associated with certain types of distortions have been observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In RMnO(3) and La(Sr)(2)NiO(4), we characterize the local structure, charge ordered states and orbital ordering by means of low-temperature TEM. We present direct evidence that the stripe modulation in La(Sr)(2)NiO(4) is indeed one-dimensional within each NiO(2) plane. Several typical kinds of defect structures, including antiphase boundaries and the 90 degrees -twin domains, appear commonly in the charge-ordered states.  相似文献

采用高温固相法制备了Eu3+离子激活的Ca9R(VO4)7(R = Y, La, Gd)红色发光粉,并利用荧光光谱对发光粉的特性进行研究。激发光谱中,Ca9Y(VO4)7 : Eu3+ , Ca9La(VO4)7 : Eu3+和Ca9Gd(VO4)7 : Eu3+都有两个宽的VO3-4激发带和Eu3+的特征激发峰。发射光谱中,在Ca9Y(VO4)7 : Eu3+ 和Ca9La(VO4)7 : Eu3+中的350~550 nm范围内出现VO3-4的发射带,而在Ca9Gd(VO4)7 : Eu3+中却没有观察到VO3-4的发射。在这三种发光粉中,Ca9Gd(VO4)7 : Eu3+的发光强度远远高于其它两种,这是由于Gd3+的存在有效地使能量通过Gd3+ →VO3-4 → Eu3+及Gd3+ → Eu3+的两种方式进行能量传递,从而提高了Eu3+发光效率。  相似文献

A2−αA′αMO4 (A = Pr, Sm, A′ = Sr, M = Ni, Mn) with K2NiF4-type structure were synthesized by solid reaction. Their chemical stability, electrical conductivity and thermal expansion behavior as well as cathodic polarization were investigated in relation to the cathode of SOFC. The results showed that A2−αA′αMO4 exhibited a low reactivity with yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte. The thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) values were changed with the ionic radius of A. The specific conductivities of the nickelates were higher than those of manganites. While the nickelates showed a lower cathodic polarization in comparison with manganites.  相似文献

The effect of magnetic Ni and non-magnetic Zn impurities on superconducting transition temperature Tc in RuSr2R(Cu1?x(Ni, Zn)x)2O8 with R = Gd or Eu (Ni- and Zn-substituted Ru1212Gd(Eu)) was extensively studied. It is found that the suppression rate dTc/dx of RuSr2R(Cu1?x(Ni, Zn)x)2O8 is comparable to that of underdoped YBa2(Cu1?x(Ni, Zn)x)3O7?δ. The suppression of superconductivity in Ni-substituted Ru1212Eu samples is more significant than that in Zn-substituted ones, indicative of Ni being a more effective pair-breaker than Zn. In strong contrast, the magnetic Ni impurity atoms have a weaker effect on superconductivity than non-magnetic Zn atoms in Ru1212Gd, similar to what was observed in the high-Tc cuprates. These intriguing findings strongly suggest that the impurity-induced local disturbance of the 3d-spin correlation at Cu sites around Ni/Zn is distinctly different between Ru1212Gd and Ru1212Eu.  相似文献

The title compound absorbs slowly hydrogen at 523 K under a pressure of P(H2)=1 MPa, giving the new hydride Ce(Ni0.82Cu0.18)SnH1.7(1). The hydrogenation induces both: (i) a structural transition from orthorhombic TiNiSi-type to hexagonal ZrBeSi-type and (ii) a magnetic transition from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic ordering This behaviour is compared to that observed recently during the hydrogen insertion into the Kondo semi-metal stannide CeNiSn.  相似文献

The crystal chemistry and mixed conductor properties of the n = 2 member of the Ruddlesden–Popper (R–P) phases Sr3−xLaxFe2−yNiyO7−δ with 0  x  0.3 and 0  y  1.0 have been studied at high temperature. High-temperature X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric measurements of the equilibrium pO2 (10 5  pO2  1 atm) in the temperature range 400  T  1000 °C indicate that the Sr3FeNiO7−δ phase is able to accommodate a large oxygen non-stoichiometry (δ  1.5) without structural transformations. The electrical conductivity and oxygen permeability increase with the substitution of Ni for Fe in the range 550  T  1000 °C. The electrical transport of the Sr3FeNiO7−δ phase is thermally activated and the activation energy decreases with the substitution of Ni for Fe for a given oxygen content. The increase in the oxygen permeation flux with increasing Ni content is due to an increasing oxygen non-stoichiometry and a lower activation energy for permeation.  相似文献
