The bis(imino)pyridine scaffold provides support for the synthesis and characterization of unique Ag(I) pincer complexes [{ArN=CPh}(2)(NPh)]Ag(+)(OTf)(-) (Ar = 2,5-(t)Bu(2)C(6)H(3)3; 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) 4). The bonding interactions between the cation-anion and between the bis(imino)pyridine ligand and the Ag centre are presented. Coordination of pyridine, toluene, 2-butyne and cyclooctene to the Ag centre led to the isolation and crystallographic characterization of labile transient adduct species. Bonding analysis of the adducts revealed conventional ligand-Ag coordination and important unconventional electron donation from the ligand to a π*-orbital of the bis(imino)pyridine group.  相似文献

The reactions of [AuClL] with Ag(2)O, where L represents the heterofunctional ligands PPh(2)py and PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py, give the trigoldoxonium complexes [O(AuL)(3)]BF(4). Treatment of these compounds with thio- or selenourea affords the triply bridging sulfide or selenide derivatives [E(AuL)(3)]BF(4) (E=S, Se). These trinuclear species react with Ag(OTf) or [Cu(NCMe)(4)]PF(6) to give different results, depending on the phosphine and the metal. The reactions of [E(AuPPh(2)py)(3)]BF(4) with silver or copper salts give [E(AuPPh(2)py)(3)M](2+) (E=O, S, Se; M=Ag, Cu) clusters that are highly luminescent. The silver complexes consist of tetrahedral Au(3)Ag clusters further bonded to another unit through aurophilic interactions, whereas in the copper species two coordination isomers with different metallophilic interactions were found. The first is analogous to the silver complexes and in the second, two [S(AuPPh(2)py)(3)](+) units bridge two copper atoms through one pyridine group in each unit. The reactions of [E(AuPPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py)(3)]BF(4) with silver and copper salts give complexes with [E(AuPPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py)(3)M](2+) stoichiometry (E=O, S, Se; M=Ag, Cu) with the metal bonded to the three nitrogen atoms in the absence of AuM interactions. The luminescence of these clusters has been studied by varying the chalcogenide, the heterofunctional ligand, and the metal.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of chelating silanedithiolato ligands has been investigated on Fe(II), Co(II), Pd(II), Cu(I), and Ag(I). Treatment of M(OAc)(2) (M = Fe, Co, Pd) with cyclotrisilathiane (SSiMe(2))(3) in the presence of Lewis bases resulted in formation of Fe(S(2)SiMe(2))(PMDETA) (1), Fe(S(2)SiMe(2))(Me(3)TACN) (2), Co(S(2)SiMe(2))(PMDETA) (3), and Pd(S(2)SiMe(2))(PEt(3))(2) (4) (PMDETA = N,N,N',N',N' '-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine; Me(3)TACN = 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane). The analogous reactions of M(OAc) (M = Cu, Ag) in the presence of PEt(3) gave rise to the dinuclear complexes M(2)[(SSiMe(2))(2)S](PEt(3))(3) [M = Cu (5), Ag (6)]. Complexes were characterized in solution by (1)H, (31)P[(1)H], and (29)Si[(1)H] NMR and in the solid state by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Mononuclear complexes 1-3 have a four-membered MS(2)Si ring, and these five-coordinate complexes adopt trigonal-bipyramidal (for the PMDETA adducts) or square-pyramidal (for the Me(3)TACN adduct) geometries. In dimer 6, the (SSiMe(2))(2)S(2)(-) silanedithiolato ligand bridges two metal centers, one of which is three-coordinate and the other four-coordinate. The chelating effect of silanedithiolato ligands leads to an increase in the stability of silylated thiolato complexes.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuCl(P-N)], in which P-N represents a heterofunctional phosphine ligand, with pentafluorothiophenol, HSC(6)F(5), gives the thiolate gold derivatives [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] (P-N = PPh(2)py (1), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (2), or PPhpy(2) (3)). Complex [Au(SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)] (1) reacts with [Au(OTf)(PPh(2)py)] in a 1:1 or 1:2 molar ratio to afford the di- or trinuclear species [Au(2)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)(2)]OTf (4) and [Au(3)(μ(3)-SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)(3)](OTf)(2) (5), with the thiolate acting as a doubly or triply bridging ligand. The reactivity of the mononuclear compounds [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] toward silver or copper salts in different ratios has been investigated. Thus, the treatment of [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] with Ag(OTf) or [Cu(NCMe)(4)]PF(6) in a 1:1 molar ratio gives complexes of stoichiometry [AuAg(OTf)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] (P-N = PPh(2)py (6), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (7), or PPhpy(2) (8)) or [AuCu(μ-SC(6)F(5))(P-N)(NCMe)]PF(6) (P-N = PPh(2)py (9), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (10), or PPhpy(2) (11)). These complexes crystallize as dimers and display different coordination modes of the silver or copper center, depending on the present functionalized phosphine ligand. The treatment of [Au(SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)] with silver and copper compounds in other molar ratios has been carried out. In a 2:1 ratio, the complexes [Au(2)M(μ-SC(6)F(5))(2)(μ-PPh(2)py)(2)]X (M = Ag, X = OTf (12); M = Cu, X = PF(6) (13)) are obtained. The same reaction in a 4:3 molar ratio affords the species [Au(4)M(2)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(3)(μ-PPh(2)py)(4)]X(3) (M = Ag, X = OTf (14); M = Cu, X = PF(6) (15)). The crystal structures of some of these complexes reveal different interactions among the metallic d(10) centers. The complexes display dual emission. The band at higher energy has been attributed to intraligand (IL) transitions, and the one at lower energy has been assigned to a ligand to metal (LM) charge transfer process. The latter emission is modulated by the heterometal (silver or copper).  相似文献

The bis(imino)pyridine scaffold provides for the synthesis and characterization of the unique Ag(I) pincer complexes [{ArN=CPh}(2)(NPh)]Ag(+)(OTf)(-) (Ar = 2,5-(t)Bu(2)C(6)H(3); 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3)). The similar covalent radii of Ag(I) and In(I), prompted a bonding comparison of these species with their In(I) analogues. Coordination of toluene to the Ag center revealed the stronger Lewis acidity of the metal site in these compounds relative to In(I) analogues.  相似文献

Reaction of the diamidozirconium complex [Zr(N2(TBS)Npy)(NMe2)2] (1) (N2(TBS)Npy = CH3C(C5H4N)(CH2NSiMe2tBu)2) or the diamidohafnium complex [Hf(N2(TBS)Npy)(NMe2)2] (2) with one molar equiv. of 1-aminopyridinium triflate in the presence of one equiv. of pyridine gave the corresponding (1-pyridinio)imido complexes [Zr(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(OTf)(py)] (3) and [Hf(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(OTf)(py)] (4). These were converted to the acetylide complexes [Zr(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(CCPh)(py)] (5) and [Hf(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(CCPh)(py)] (6) by reaction with lithium phenylacetylide and substitution of the triflato ligand. Upon reaction of 3 and 4 with one molar equivalent of R-NC (R = tBu, Cy, 2,6-xyl), N-N bond cleavage in the (1-pyridinio)imido unit took place and the respective carbodiimido complexes [M(N2(TBS)Npy](N=C=NR)(OTf)(py)] (7-12) were formed instantaneously. A similar type of reaction with CO gave the isocyanato complex [Zr(N2(TBS)Npy](NCO)(OTf)(py)] (13). Finally, the abstraction of the pyridine ligand in compounds 3 and 4 with B(C6F5)3 led to the formation of the triflato-bridged dinuclear complexes [Zr(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(OTf)]2 (14) and [Hf(N2(TBS)Npy)(=N-NC5H5)(OTf)]2 (15).  相似文献

A direct access to symmetrical and unsymmetrical 2,5-disubstituted [1,3,4]-oxadiazoles has been accomplished through an imine C-H functionalization of N-arylidenearoylhydrazide using a catalytic quantity of Cu(OTf)(2). This is the first example of amidic oxygen functioning as a nucleophile in a Cu-catalyzed oxidative coupling of an imine C-H bond. These reactions can be performed in air atmosphere and moisture making it exceptionally practical for application in organic synthesis.  相似文献

The synthesis of dicopper(I) complexes [Cu2(BBAN)(MeCN)2](OTf)2 (1), [Cu2(BBAN)(py)2](OTf)2 (2), [Cu2(BBAN)(1-Me-BzIm)2](OTf)2 (3), [Cu2(BBAN)(1-Me-Im)2](OTf)2 (4), and [Cu2(BBAN)(mu-O2CCPh3)](OTf) (5), where BBAN = 2,7-bis((dibenzylamino)methyl)-1,8-naphthyridine, py = pyridine, 1-Me-Im = 1-methylimidazole, and 1-Me-BzIm = 1-methylbenzimidazole, are described. Short copper-copper distances ranging from 2.6151(6) to 2.7325(5) A were observed in the solid-state structures of these complexes depending on the terminal ligands used. The cyclic voltammogram of compound 5 dissolved in THF exhibited a reversible redox wave at E1/2 = -25 mV vs Cp2Fe+/Cp2Fe. When complex 5 was treated with 1 equiv of silver(I) triflate, a mixed-valence dicopper(I,II) complex [Cu2(BBAN)(mu-O2CCPh3)(OTf)](OTf) (6) was prepared. A short copper-copper distance of 2.4493(14) A observed from the solid-state structure indicates the presence of a copper-copper interaction. Variable-temperature EPR studies showed that complex 6 has a fully delocalized electronic structure in frozen 2-methyltetrahydrofuran solution down to liquid helium temperature. The presence of anionic ligands seems to be an important factor to stabilize the mixed-valence dicopper(I,II) state. Compounds 1-4 with neutral nitrogen-donor terminal ligands cannot be oxidized to the mixed-valence analogues either chemically or electrochemically.  相似文献

The reaction of [Pd(3)(OAc)(6)] with (E)-acetophenone oxime and pyridine in CHCl(3) under reflux affords the metallacycle [Pd(OAc)[C,N-(C(6)H(4)C(CH(3))=NOH)-2](py)] (1) as a yellow air-stable complex. The same reaction carried out at room temperature in the absence of pyridine affords the trinuclear oximato complex [Pd(mu-(E)-ON=C(CH(3))Ph)(mu-OAc)](3) (2), which can be converted into 1 upon heating in the presence of pyridine. As indicated by (1)H and (31)P NMR spectroscopy, complex 1 reacts with methylparathion in acetone-d(6)-D(2)O solutions to afford [Pd(SP(=O)(OCH(3))(2))[C,N-(C(6)H(4)C(CH(3))=NOH)-2](py)] (3) and [Pd(mu-SP(=O)(OCH(3))(2))[C,N-(C(6)H(4)C(CH(3))=NOH)-2]](2) (4) as well as free p-nitrophenol. Compounds 1-4 have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis, NMR and EA. Compounds 1 and 3 are mononuclear complexes with the acetate and dimethylthiophosphate ligand, respectively, trans from the phenyl group. Compound 2 is a trinuclear complex whose structure can be derived from that of [Pd(3)(OAc)(6)] by replacing three of the acetate ligands on one side of Pd(3) plane by three N,O-coordinated oximate ligands. Complex 4 is a dinuclear complex in which the two square-planar palladium moieties are linked by the sulfur atoms of the bridging dimethylthiophosphate ligands.  相似文献

Two anionic tridentate N,O,N' chelators, [pz(Ph)B(mu-pz)(mu-O)B(Ph)pz](-) (3(-)) and [pz(Ph)(Ph)B(mu-pz)(mu-O)B(Ph)pz(Ph)](-) (4(-)), as well as the corresponding complexes [Fe(3)(py)Cl], [Fe(3)Cl(2)] and [Cu(3)Cl], have been synthesised and structurally characterised by X-ray crystallography (pz: pyrazolyl, pz(Ph): 3-phenylpyrazolyl, py: pyridine). Since our synthesis approach takes advantage of the highly modular pyrazolylborate chemistry, inexpensive and relatively resistant N,O,N' ligands of varying steric demand are readily accessible. The complexes [Fe(3)(py)Cl] and [Fe(3)Cl(2)] possess a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal configuration with the pyrazolyl rings occupying equatorial positions and the oxygen donor being located at an apical position. The complex [Cu(3)Cl] crystallises as chloro-bridged dimers featuring Cu(II) ions with ligand environments that are intermediate between a square-planar and a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry.  相似文献

The amine coordination of lead(II) has been examined through the preparation and structural analysis of Lewis base adducts of bis(thiolato)lead(II) complexes. Reaction of Pb(OAc)(2) with 2,6-dimethylbenzenethiol affords (2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb (6) in high yield. The solubility of 6 in organic solvents allows for the preparation of the 1:2 Lewis acid-base adduct [(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(py)(2)](7), and 1:1 adducts [(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(micro(2)-bipy)](infinity](8) and [(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(micro(2)-pyr)](infinity)(9)(where py = pyridine, bipy = 4,4'-bipyridyl and pyr = pyrazine) from reaction with an excess of the appropriate amine. In contrast to 7, reaction of (C(6)H(5)S)(2)Pb (1) with pyridine afforded the 2:1 adduct [(C(6)H(5)S)(4)Pb(2)(py)](infinity)(10). Compounds were characterized via elemental analysis, FT-IR, solution (1)H and (13)C[(1)H](6) NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography (7-10). The structures of 7-9 show the thiolate groups occupying two equatorial positions and two amine nitrogen atoms occupying axial coordination sites, yielding distorted see-saw coordination geometries, or distorted trigonal bipyramids if an equatorial lone pair on lead is considered. The absence of intermolecular contacts in 7 and 8 result in monomeric and one-dimensional polymeric structures, respectively. Weak Pb...S intermolecular contacts in 9 result in the formation of a two-dimensional macrostructure. In contrast, the structure of , shows extensive intermolecular Pb...S interactions, resulting in five- and six-coordinate bonding environments for lead(II), and a complex polymeric structure in the solid state. This demonstrates the ability of the 2,6-dimethylphenylthiolate ligand to limit intermolecular lead-sulfur interactions, while allowing the axial coordination of amine Lewis base ligands.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization, and computational analysis of a series of low-valent, In(I) complexes bearing the bis(imino)pyridine scaffold, {Ar'N=CPh}(2)(NC(5)H(3)), is reported. A stepwise steric reduction of the aryl groups on the imine substituents around the coordination site, (Ar' = 2,5-(t)Bu(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-(CH(3)CH(2))(2)C(6)H(3)) is explored through the spectroscopic and crystallographic examination of complexes [{Ar'N=CPh}(2)(NC(5)H(3))]In(+)(OTf)(-) (1-3). Compounds 1-3 displayed long In-N and In-OTf distances indicating only weak or no coordination. Application of the ligand with Ar' = 2,6-(CH(3))(2)C(6)H(3) led to an In(III) bis(imino)pyridine complex, [{2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)N=CPh}(2)(NC(5)H(3))]In(OTf)(2)Cl 4 with coordinated ligand, chloride, and triflate groups. Computational analysis of the interactions between the In cation and the ligands (orbital populations, bond order, and energy decomposition analysis) point to only minimal covalent interactions of the In(I) cation with the ligands. Although it features three N donor centers, the bis(imino)pyridine ligand provides little ligand-to-metal donation. A thorough electronic structure analysis revealed a correlation of compound stability with the reduced contribution of the In(I) 5s lone electron pair to the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of the cation. This effect, originating from non-bonding orbital interactions between the metal and the ligand, is more prominent in sterically crowded environments. The discovery of this correlation may help in designing new low-valent complexes.  相似文献

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, subsequent MS/MS, and high-resolution mass spectrometry were used to study the dehydrogenative Heck reaction of 2-alkylfurans 1 with acrylates 2, using [Pd(OAc)(2)](3) as the precatalyst, benzoquinone (BQ) as the stoichiometric oxidant, and a mixture of DMSO and AcOH as the solvent. Complexation of [Pd(OAc)(2)](3) by DMSO afforded mononuclear and dinuclear Pd(II) species, which proved to be active catalysts for the C-H activation of 1. Mononuclear and dinuclear Pd(II) species seem also to be involved in the insertion of 2 into the furyl-Pd bond. The C-H activation of 2 and DMSO by mononuclear complexes was observed. The reaction leads to 5,5'-dialkyl-2,2'-bifuran 4 as a byproduct. Bifuryl-palladium, which is an intermediate in the formation of 4, showing the coordination of BQ, was obtained and characterized.  相似文献

Wacker-type oxidative cyclization reactions have been the subject of extensive research for several decades, but few systematic mechanistic studies of these reactions have been reported. The present study features experimental and DFT computational studies of Pd(OAc)(2)/pyridine-catalyzed intramolecular aerobic oxidative amination of alkenes. The data support a stepwise catalytic mechanism that consists of (1) steady-state formation of a Pd(II)-amidate-alkene chelate with release of 1 equiv of pyridine and AcOH from the catalyst center, (2) alkene insertion into a Pd-N bond, (3) reversible β-hydride elimination, (4) irreversible reductive elimination of AcOH, and (5) aerobic oxidation of palladium(0) to regenerate the active trans-Pd(OAc)(2)(py)(2) catalyst. Evidence is obtained for two energetically viable pathways for the key C-N bond-forming step, featuring a pyridine-ligated and a pyridine-dissociated Pd(II) species. Analysis of natural charges and bond lengths of the alkene-insertion transition state suggest that this reaction is best described as an intramolecular nucleophilic attack of the amidate ligand on the coordinated alkene.  相似文献

Rh-N-heterocyclic carbene compounds [Rh(μ-Cl)(IPr)(η(2)-olefin)](2) and RhCl(IPr)(py)(η(2)-olefin) (IPr = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-carbene, py = pyridine, olefin = cyclooctene or ethylene) are highly active catalysts for alkyne hydrothiolation under mild conditions. A regioselectivity switch from linear to 1-substituted vinyl sulfides was observed when mononuclear RhCl(IPr)(py)(η(2)-olefin) catalysts were used instead of dinuclear precursors. A complex interplay between electronic and steric effects exerted by IPr, pyridine, and hydride ligands accounts for the observed regioselectivity. Both IPr and pyridine ligands stabilize formation of square-pyramidal thiolate-hydride active species in which the encumbered and powerful electron-donor IPr ligand directs coordination of pyridine trans to it, consequently blocking access of the incoming alkyne in this position. Simultaneously, the higher trans director hydride ligand paves the way to a cis thiolate-alkyne disposition, favoring formation of 2,2-disubstituted metal-alkenyl species and subsequently the Markovnikov vinyl sulfides via alkenyl-hydride reductive elimination. DFT calculations support a plausible reaction pathway where migratory insertion of the alkyne into the rhodium-thiolate bond is the rate-determining step.  相似文献

Pd(OAc)(2)/o-chloranil/M(OTf)(n) can effectively promote the C-H arylation of fluoranthene with arylboron compounds or arylsilanes. The reaction takes place with high regioselectivity at the C3 position of fluoranthene. Moreover, the new catalytic system allows the use of unfunctionalized arenes as coupling partners in the arylation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.  相似文献

Lipoxygenases are mononuclear non-heme iron enzymes that regio- and stereospecifcally convert 1,4-pentadiene subunit-containing fatty acids into alkyl peroxides. The rate-determining step is generally accepted to be hydrogen atom abstraction from the pentadiene subunit of the substrate by an active ferric hydroxide species to give a ferrous water species and an organic radical. Reported here are the synthesis and characterization of a ferric model complex, [Fe(III)(PY5)(OMe)](OTf)(2), that reacts with organic substrates in a manner similar to the proposed enzymatic mechanism. The ligand PY5 (2,6-bis(bis(2-pyridyl)methoxymethane)pyridine) was developed to simulate the histidine-dominated coordination sphere of mammalian lipoxygenases. The overall monoanionic coordination provided by the endogenous ligands of lipoxygenase confers a strong Lewis acidic character to the active ferric site with an accordingly positive reduction potential. Incorporation of ferrous iron into PY5 and subsequent oxidation yields a stable ferric methoxide species that structurally and chemically resembles the proposed enzymatic ferric hydroxide species. Reactivity with a number of hydrocarbons possessing weak C-H bonds, including a derivative of the enzymatic substrate linoleic acid, scales best with the substrates' bond dissociation energies, rather than pK(a)'s, suggesting a hydrogen atom abstraction mechanism. Thermodynamic analysis of [Fe(III)(PY5)(OMe)](OTf)(2) and the ferrous end-product [Fe(II)(PY5)(MeOH)](OTf)(2) estimates the strength of the O-H bond in the metal bound methanol in the latter to be 83.5 +/- 2.0 kcal mol(-1). The attenuation of this bond relative to free methanol is largely due to the high reduction potential of the ferric site, suggesting that the analogously high reduction potential of the ferric site in LO is what allows the enzyme to perform its unique oxidation chemistry. Comparison of [Fe(III)(PY5)(OMe)](OTf)(2) to other coordination complexes capable of hydrogen atom abstraction shows that, although a strong correlation exists between the thermodynamic driving force of reaction and the rate of reaction, other factors appear to further modulate the reactivity.  相似文献

With a view to applications in bifunctional catalysis, a modular cross-coupling strategy has been used to prepare amine bis(imidazolium) salts (3a and 3b) and an amine mono(imidazolium) salt (6) as precursors to chelating amido-NHC ligands. Treating the pro-ligands 3 with 3 equivalents of the bulky base KHMDS and Pd(OAc)(2) or PtCl(2)(COD) gave the four amido bis(N-heterocyclic carbene) pincer complexes [CNC-R]M-I [M = Pd (7) or Pt (8); R = i-Pr (a) or n-Bu (b)], including the first examples of platinum complexes of a CNC ligand. The reaction of 7a with AgOTf in pyridine gave the cationic complex {[CNC-i-Pr]Pd-py}OTf (9a). Heating a mixture of amine mono(imidazolium) salt 6 with PdCl(2) or K(2)PtCl(4), K(2)CO(3) and KI in pyridine at 100 °C gave the complexes [C,NH]MI(2)py [M = Pd (10) or Pt (11)], in which the amine arm of the NHC ligand is not deprotonated and does not coordinate to the metal. For a solution of 10 in 1,4-dioxane, deprotonation of the amine occurred in a biphasic reaction with aqueous KOH at 40 °C, giving the dimeric amido complex {[C,N]Pd(μ-OH)}(2) (12). The more inert Pt analogue 11 was unreactive under the same conditions. Solid-state structures of the complexes 7a, 7b, 9a, 10, 11 and 12 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The bis(pyridyl)-substituted TTF derivative, 2,6(7)-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-tetrathiafulvalene (TTF(py)(2)), and an inorganic analogue, [Ni(4-pedt)(2)] (4-pedt = 1-(pyridin-4-yl)ethylene-1,2-dithiolate), were used as bridging ligands to construct two multinuclear complexes {Co(II)(2)(Tp(Ph2))(2)(OAc)(2)[TTF(py)(2)]} (1, Tp(Ph2) = hydridotri(3,5-diphenylpyrazol-1-yl)borate) and {Co(II)(2)(Tp(Ph2))(2)(OAc)(2)[Ni(4-pedt)(2)]} (2), and two 1D zigzag chain complexes, {[M(II)(tta)(2)][TTF(py)(2)]}(n) (M = Cu for 3, and Mn for 4; tta = thenoyltrifluoroacetonate). X-Ray structural studies indicate that complexes 1 and 2 are very similar as a result of the isolobal analogy between TTF(py)(2) and [Ni(4-pedt)(2)], whereas complexes 3 and 4 are isostructural. The absorption spectra, electrochemical and magnetic properties for these new complexes have been studied. The results show that the interactions between the paramagnetic ions are weak owing to the large separation of the bridging ligands of TTFs and the inorganic analogue.  相似文献

The synthesis of 4′-(2-methylphenyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine (L) has been improved. The coordination chemistry of the ligand was explored using Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Ag(I) ions. X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectrometry were used to characterize the 13 new compounds that have been synthesized. Under different reaction conditions, Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) produced discrete complexes, sometimes containing more than one metal ion, while Ag(I) furnished a polymeric spiral complex in which the central pyridine nitrogen of each terpyridine ligand bridges two Ag(I) ions. Crystallographically characterized complexes are [Ni(L)2]Cl2, [Ni2Cl4(L)2], [Ni(L)(OH2)3]Cl2, [Ni(L)2]Br2, [Cu(L)(OH2)(OSO3)], [Cu3Cl6(L)2], [Cu(L)(OH)(OH2)2]PF6, [Cu(L)2](OTf)2, [Cu(L)(OAc)2], [Zn(L)(OAc)2], [Zn(L)Cl2], [Zn(L)2](NO3)2, [{Ag2(μ-L)2(μ-NO3)}n](NO3)n.  相似文献
