The (singular) orthogonal graph O(2ν + δ,q) over a field with q elements and of characteristic 2 (where ν 1, and δ = 0,1 or 2) is introduced. When ν = 1, O(2 · 1,q), O(2 · 1 + 1,q) and O(2 · 1 + 2,q) are complete graphs with 2, q + 1 and q2 + 1 vertices, respectively. When ν 2, O(2ν + δ,q) is strongly regular and its parameters are computed. O(2ν + 1,q) is isomorphic to the symplectic graph Sp(2ν,q). Given a fixed probability space (Ω,ℱ,ℙ) and m≥1, let X(t) be an L2(Ω) process satisfying necessary regularity conditions for existence of the mth iterated stochastic integral. For real-valued processes, these existence conditions are known from the work of D. Engel. Engel’s work is extended here to L2(Ω) processes defined on Clifford algebras of arbitrary signature (p,q), which reduce to the real case when p=q=0. These include as special cases processes on the complex numbers, quaternion algebra, finite fermion algebras, fermion Fock spaces, space-time algebra, the algebra of physical space, and the hypercube. Next, a graph-theoretic approach to stochastic integrals is developed in which the mth iterated stochastic integral corresponds to the limit in mean of a collection of weighted closed m-step walks on a growing sequence of graphs. Combinatorial properties of the Clifford geometric product are then used to create adjacency matrices for these graphs in which the appropriate weighted walks are recovered naturally from traces of matrix powers. Given real-valued L2(Ω) processes, Hermite and Poisson-Charlier polynomials are recovered in this manner.  相似文献

The goal of this article is two-fold. First, we consider a class of hyperholomorphic functions, the so called B p, q (G) space in ?3. Then, we use the B p, q (G) space to characterize the hyperholomorphic α-Bloch space. Second, we obtain characterizations of the weighted hyperholomorphic B p, q (G)-functions by the coefficients of certain lacunary series expansions in Clifford Analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, the author studies a class of non-standard commutators with higher order remainders for oscillatory singular integral operators with phases more general than polynomials. For 1 < p < ∞, the L p -boundedness of such operators are obtained provided that their kernels belong to the spaces L q (S n−1) for some q > 1.  相似文献

A classification is given of all spreads in PG(3, q), q = pr, p odd, whose associated translation planes admit linear collineation groups of order q(q +1) such that a Sylow p-subgroup fixes a line and acts non-trivially on it.The authors are indebted to T. We extend the Gallot–Tanno theorem to closed pseudo-Riemannian manifolds. It is done by showing that if the cone over a manifold admits a parallel symmetric (0, 2)-tensor then it is Riemannian. Applications of this result to the existence of metrics with distinct Levi-Civita connections but having the same unparametrized geodesics and to the projective Obata conjecture are given. We also apply our result to show that the holonomy group of a closed (O(p + 1, q), S p,q )-manifold does not preserve any nondegenerate splitting of \mathbb Rp+1,q{\mathbb {R}^{p+1,q}}.  相似文献

We introduce and study natural two-parameter families of quantum groups motivated on one hand by the liberations of classical orthogonal groups and on the other by quantum isometry groups of the duals of the free groups. Specifically, for each pair (p,q) of non-negative integers we define and investigate quantum groups O+(p,q), B+(p,q), S+(p,q) and H+(p,q) corresponding to, respectively, orthogonal groups, bistochastic groups, symmetric groups and hyperoctahedral groups. In the first three cases the new quantum groups turn out to be related to the (dual free products of ) free quantum groups studied earlier. For H+(p,q) the situation is different and we show that , where the latter can be viewed as a liberation of the classical isometry group of the p-dimensional torus.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct three ternary linear codes associated with the orthogonal group O (2, q) and the special orthogonal groups SO (2, q) and SO (4, q). Here q is a power of three. Then we obtain recursive formulas for the power moments of Kloosterman sums with square arguments and for the even power moments of those in terms of the frequencies of weights in the codes. This is done via Pless power moment identity and by utilizing the explicit expressions of “Gauss sums” for the orthogonal and special orthogonal groups O (2n, q) and SO (2n, q).  相似文献

In this article we study minimal1-blocking sets in finite projective spaces PG(n,q),n 3. We prove that in PG(n,q 2),q = p h , p prime, p > 3,h 1, the second smallest minimal 1-blockingsets are the second smallest minimal blocking sets, w.r.t.lines, in a plane of PG(n,q 2). We also study minimal1-blocking sets in PG(n,q 3), n 3, q = p h, p prime, p > 3,q 5, and prove that the minimal 1-blockingsets of cardinality at most q 3 + q 2 + q + 1 are eithera minimal blocking set in a plane or a subgeometry PG(3,q).  相似文献

A square matrix over the complex field with non-negative integral trace is called a quasi-permutation matrix. For a finite group G the minimal degree of a faithful permutation representation of G is denoted by p(G). The minimal degree of a faithful representation of G by quasi-permutation matrices over the rational and the complex numbers are denoted by q(G) and c(G) respectively. Finally r(G) denotes the minimal degree of a faithful rational valued complex character of G. We evaluate a 1‐loop, 2‐point, massless Feynman integral ID,m(p,q) relevant for perturbative field theoretic calculations in strongly anisotropic d=D+m dimensional spaces given by the direct sum . Our results are valid in the whole convergence region of the integral for generic (noninteger) codimensions D and m. We obtain series expansions of ID,m(p,q) in terms of powers of the variable X:=4p2/q4, where p=| p |, q=| q |, , , and in terms of generalised hypergeometric functions 3F2(−X), when X<1. These are subsequently analytically continued to the complementary region X≥1. The asymptotic expansion in inverse powers of X1/2 is derived. The correctness of the results is supported by agreement with previously known special cases and extensive numerical calculations.  相似文献

It is shown that a K-quasiminimizer u for the one-dimensional p-Dirichlet integral is a K′-quasiminimizer for the q-Dirichlet integral, 1  ≤  q  <  p 1(p, K), where p 1(p, K) > p; the exact value for p 1(p, K) is obtained. The inverse function of a non-constant u is also K′′-quasiminimizer for the s-Dirichlet integral and the range of the exponent s is specified. Connections between quasiminimizers, superminimizers and solutions to obstacle problems are studied.  相似文献

Let p and q be two permutations over {1, 2,…, n}. We denote by m(p, q) the number of integers i, 1 ≤ in, such that p(i) = q(i). For each fixed permutation p, a query is a permutation q of the same size and the answer a(q) to this query is m(p, q). We investigate the problem of finding the minimum number of queries required to identify an unknown permutation p. A polynomial-time algorithm that identifies a permutation of size n by O(n · log2n) queries is presented. The lower bound of this problem is also considered. It is proved that the problem of determining the size of the search space created by a given set of queries and answers is #P-complete. Since this counting problem is essential for the analysis of the lower bound, a complete analysis of the lower bound appears infeasible. We conjecture, based on some preliminary analysis, that the lower bound is Ω(n · log2n).  相似文献
