In a previous paper[1], a method has been developed to study the stability characteristics of laminar boundary layers over compliant walls. In this paper, the effect of double layered compliant wall and Kramer type compliant wall on delaying the transition is investigated, and it is shown that there does exist the possibility to delay the transition by applying such compliant walls. The stability characteristics of laminar boundary layers over compliant walls was studied by the linear theory. Unlike the previous authors, the coupled motion of the fluid and solid was required to satisfy the continuity conditions of both the velocity and stress at the interface. Results of calculations show that as the speed ratio or density ratio exceeds a certain threshold value, the two types of unstable waves will no longer be distinguishable, and the tangential component of the disturbance stress is no longer negligible. So the neglect of it, as the previous authors did, is unjustified. The project is supported by the National Natural Science Fundation of China.  相似文献

A theoretical model for the instability of turbulent boundary layer over compliant surfaces is described. The investigation of instability is carried out from a time-asymptotic space-time perspective that classifies instabilities as either convective or absolute. Results are compared against experimental observations of surface waves on elastic and viscoelastic compliant layers.  相似文献

The evolution of small perturbations in longitudinally nonuniform flows is studied with reference to the problem of the propagation of flow perturbations in a plane channel with walls of variable elasticity. Using the solution of the problem of the receptivity of the flow to local vibrations of the walls, the problem considered can be reduced to the solution of an integral equation for a single function, namely, the complex vibration amplitude of the walls. A numerical method for solving this equation on the basis of a piecewise-linear approximation of the unknown function is proposed. It is shown that the instability wave amplitude changes discontinuously at the junction of the rigid and elastic channel sections. A second method of investigating the process of propagation of perturbations in the flow considered is proposed. This method is based on laws of evolution of perturbations in nonuniform flows and an analytic solution of the problem of perturbation scattering on the junction of walls with different compliance. On the basis of this method the classical stability theory is generalized to include the case of nonuniform flows.  相似文献

讨论了漂浮基空间机器人在轨捕获非合作卫星过程避免关节受冲击及过载破坏的避撞柔顺控制问题。在关节电机与机械臂之间配置了一种柔顺装置——旋转型串联弹性执行器(RSEA),其作用一是在捕获阶段,通过其内置弹簧的变形来缓冲捕获过程中被捕获卫星对空间机器人关节产生的冲击能量;二是在捕获完成后的镇定运动阶段,结合所设计的避撞柔顺策略来适时开关关节电机以保证关节冲击力矩受限在安全范围。首先,根据拉格朗日法及牛顿-欧拉法分别建立了含柔顺装置空间机器人与目标卫星系统的动力学方程;之后,结合整个系统动量守恒关系、系统运动几何及位置约束关系,建立了捕获操作后两者形成混合体系统的动力学方程。在此基础上,针对捕获操作后不稳定的混合体系统,提出了一种基于无源性理论的避撞柔顺模糊控制方案以实现其镇定控制。最后,通过仿真实验验证了所提避撞柔顺策略的有效性。  相似文献

The propagation of harmonic elastic wave in an infinite three-dimensional matrix containing an interacting low-rigidity disk-shaped inclusion and a crack. The problem is reduced to a system of boundary integral equations for functions that characterize jumps of displacements on the inclusion and crack. The unknown functions are determined by numerical solution of the system of boundary integral equations. For the symmetric problem, graphs are given of the dynamic stress intensity factors in the vicinity of the circular inclusion and the crack on the wavenumber for different distances between them and different compliance parameters of the inclusion.  相似文献

A nonlinear time-dependent model of the development of longwave perturbations in a hypersonic boundary layer flow in the neighborhood of a cooled surface is constructed. The pressure in the flow is assumed to be induced the combined variation of the thicknesses of the near-wall and main parts of the boundary layer. Numerical and analytic solutions are obtained in the linear approximation. It is shown that if the main part of the boundary layer is subsonic as a whole, its action reduces the perturbation damping upstream and the perturbation growth downstream, while a supersonic, as a whole, main part of the boundary layer creates the opposite effects. An analysis of the solutions obtained makes it possible to conclude that the asymptotic model proposed can describe the three-dimensional instability of the Tollmien-Schlichting waves.  相似文献

Studies comparing the structural differences of tires have not qualitatively or quantitatively considered the effects of tread geometry on tire behaviour or the interactions of the tire with the surface. Therefore, to determine the effects of different tire tread patterns on the stress distribution of the tire and soil compaction, we compared the structural behaviours of a high-flotation tractive-tread (TT) tire and a smooth-tread (ST) tire. The experiments were conducted over a rigid and over a deformable surface. The results from the rigid surface shows the influences of the tread pattern and sidewalls is dependent of the loads. Over the deformable surface, the contact area of the TT tire was larger than that of the ST tire. The inflation pressure (IP) was mainly responsible for the load support before the soil reached its maximum deformation. Next, the tread and sidewalls exhibited the same behaviour as observed on the rigid surface. In addition, we observed alterations in the balloon point with the tread geometry and the type of surface due to changes in the contact pressure. With carcass deformation, the volume of the tire was visibly reduced, which indicated that the IP could increase.  相似文献

The dynamic behavior of a circular crack in an elastic composite consisting of two dissimilar half-spaces connected by a thin compliant interlayer is studied. One half-space contains a defect aligned perpendicular to the interlayer; the defect surfaces are loaded by normal harmonic forces, which ensures the symmetry of the stress-strain state. The thin interlayer is modeled by conditions of a nonideal contact of the half-spaces. The problem is reduced to a boundary integral equation with respect to the function of dynamic opening of the defect. The response of the boundary layer on a flat plate with blunt nose to infinitesimally small non-uniformity in the freestream velocity along the span has been studied. The non-uniformity was shown to excite boundary-layer disturbances similar to streaks or Klebanoff modes generally observed in experiments conducted with a high level of free-stream turbulence. The boundary layer disturbances have a predominantly streamwise velocity component and exhibit transient growth. In contrast to streaks generated by streamwise vortices impinging on the sharp nose of a plate, the disturbances produced by free-stream non-uniformity interaction with a blunt nose have a different level of growth. Their maximal amplification scales with the Reynolds number, based on the size of nose bluntness and is almost independent of the spanwise period of disturbances. This difference was shown to be caused by additional amplification of disturbances via vortex lines stretching around the leading edge.  相似文献

The paper studies the relationship between the physical characteristics of a cylinder and the properties of normal axisymmetric waves in elastic–liquid waveguides. The cylinder is made of a compliant material in which the velocity of shear waves is less than the sonic velocity in a perfect compressible liquid. The complete system of dynamic elasticity equations and the wave equation are used to describe the wave fields in the elastic cylinder and fluid, respectively. This approach allows obtaining the dispersion characteristics of coupled normal waves in compound waveguides over wide ranges of frequencies and wavelengths. The curves of real, imaginary, and complex wave numbers versus frequency are plotted for specific pairs of waveguide materials. Computations are carried out for a thick-walled cylinder filled with a fluid and immersed in either vacuum or a fluid. It is found out that compliant and rigid materials of the cylinder affect differently the wave interaction process in elastic–liquid waveguides  相似文献

On the basis of Hamilton's principle and dynamic version of vonKàrmàn's equations,the nonlinear vibration and thermal-buckling of a uniformly heated isotropic annular plate with a completely clamped outer edge and a fixed rigid mass along the inner edge are studied. By parametric perturbation and numerical differentiation, the nonlinear response of the plate-mass system and the critical temperature in the mid-plane at which the plate is in buckled state are obtained. 利用积分变换方法,得出了两相材料中单位简谐力的格林函数。根据简谐集中力的格林函数得出了和界面接触的刚性线的散射场。利用无穷积分的性质,把和界面接触刚性线的散射场分解为奇异部分和有界部分。通过分解后的散射场建立了和界面接触剐性线在SH波作用下的Cauchy型奇异积分方程。根据所得奇异积分方程和刚性线的散射场得到了刚性线端点的奇异性阶数及奇性应力。应用刚性线端点的奇性应力定义了刚性线端点的应力奇异因子。对所得Cauchy型奇异积分方程的数值求解,可得刚性线端点的应力奇异因子。  相似文献

In this paper, the behavior of a bubble near a rigid cylinder is studied experimentally as the positions of bubble induction change, and several cylinders with different diameters are used in the experiment. The main results are as follows. The behavior of a bubble near a rigid cylinder is distinct from that near a rigid plate. When the cylinders are laid in deep water, there will occur three kinds of typical bubble shapes as the distance between bubble and cylinder increases. And the bubble shapes are different as the diameter of cylinder varies. When the cylinders are laid near a free surface, the behaviors of bubble near cylinders with different diameters are similar. For a certain distance between bubble and free surface, as the distance between bubble and cylinder increases, "double jet", "inclined jet" and "downward jet" will take place successively.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed for calculating the intensity of the acoustic wave field generated by diffraction of a beam of acoustic waves on a sharp leading edge of a flat plate in a supersonic flow. This wave field is shown to be a functional of the mass-flow amplitude distribution in the acoustic field at the level of the plate surface upstream of the latter. This distribution can be found on the basis of measurements. The discontinuity of the normal-to-plate component of the velocity perturbation on the plate edge plays an important role in determining mass-flow fluctuations along the plate. At large distances from the leading edge of the plate, where the diffraction wave on the boundary-layer edge degenerates into longitudinal acoustic waves, the amplitude of mass-flow fluctuations decreases with increasing distance from the leading edge and depends on wave orientation.Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika i Tekhnicheskaya Fizika, Vol. 46, No. 2, pp. 64–70, March–April, 2005.  相似文献

The incompressible flow over a forward-facing step is studied. The interest is focused on the characteristics of the global instabilities in this nonparallel shear flow. In particular, the structure of the instability of the flow and the evaluation of the critical Reynolds number have been topics of investigation. The sensitivity of the flow to external disturbances as well as to base flow modifications have been calculated by means of an adjoint analysis, and the main results are reported and discussed. A preliminary version of this work has been orally presented at the 5th Euromech Fluid Mechanics Conference (EFMC) held in Tolouse, France, 24–28 August 2003.  相似文献

In this study, thermo-mechanical behaviour of contacting rough surfaces has been modelled. Firstly, a numerical microscopic contact model that considers the properties of engineering surfaces has been developed. Geometrical characteristics of rough surfaces are deduced using the standard procedure for roughness and waviness parameter determination according to the so-called “motif” procedure. Secondly, an equivalent macroscopic contact model using a homogenisation technique has been presented. The interfacial behaviour of this model has been governed by the curves deduced from the microscopic model. The transition from microscopic to macroscopic scale was also validated.  相似文献
