The reactions of three types of group 4 metal olefin polymerization catalysts, (C(5)R(5))(2)ZrX(2)/activator, (C(5)Me(5))TiX(3)/MAO (MAO = methylalumoxane), and (C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu)MX(2)/activator (M = Ti, Zr), with vinyl chloride (VC) and VC/propylene mixtures have been investigated. Two general pathways are observed: (i) radical polymerization of VC initiated by radicals derived from the catalyst and (ii) net 1,2 VC insertion into L(n)MR(+) species followed by beta-Cl elimination. rac-(EBI)ZrMe(mu-Me)B(C(6)F(5))(3) (EBI = 1,2-ethylenebis(indenyl)) reacts with 2 equiv of VC to yield oligopropylene, rac-(EBI)ZrCl(2), and B(C(6)F(5))(3). This reaction proceeds by net 1,2 VC insertion into rac-(EBI)ZrMe(+) followed by fast beta-Cl elimination to yield [rac-(EBI)ZrCl][MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)] and propylene. Methylation of rac-(EBI)ZrCl(+) by MeB(C(6)F(5))(3)(-) enables a second VC insertion/beta-Cl elimination to occur. The evolved propylene is oligomerized by rac-(EBI)ZrR(+) as it is formed. At high Al/Zr ratios, rac-(EBI)ZrMe(2)/MAO catalytically converts VC to oligopropylene by 1,2 VC insertion into rac-(EBI)ZrMe(+), beta-Cl elimination, and realkylation of rac-(EBI)ZrCl(+) by MAO; this process is stoichiometric in Al-Me groups. The evolved propylene is oligomerized by rac-(EBI)ZrR(+). Oligopropylene end group analysis shows that the predominant chain transfer mechanism is VC insertion/beta-Cl elimination/realkylation. In the presence of trace levels of O(2), rac-(EBI)ZrMe(2)/MAO polymerizes VC to poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) by a radical mechanism initiated by radicals generated by autoxidation of Zr-R and/or Al-R species. CpTiX(3)/MAO (Cp = C(5)Me(5); X = OMe, Cl) initiates radical polymerization of VC in CH(2)Cl(2) solvent at low Al/Ti ratios under anaerobic conditions; in this case, the source of initiating radicals is unknown. Radical VC polymerization can be identified by the presence of terminal and internal allylic chloride units and other "radical defects" in the PVC which arise from the characteristic chemistry of PCH(2)CHCl(*) macroradicals. However, this test must be used with caution, since the defect units can be consumed by postpolymerization reactions with MAO. (C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu)MMe(2)/[Ph(3)C]][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] catalysts (M = Ti, Zr) react with VC by net 1,2 insertion/beta-Cl elimination, yielding [(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu)MCl][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] species which can be trapped as (C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu)MCl(2) by addition of a chloride source. The reaction of rac-(EBI)ZrMe(2)/MAO or [(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(t)Bu)ZrMe][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] with propylene/VC mixtures yields polypropylene containing both allylic and vinylidene unsaturated chain ends rather than strictly vinylidene chain ends, as observed in propylene homopolymerization. These results show that the VC insertion of L(n)M(CH(2)CHMe)(n)R(+) species is also followed by beta-Cl elimination, which terminates chain growth and precludes propylene/VC copolymerization. Termination of chain growth by beta-Cl elimination is the most significant obstacle to metal-catalyzed insertion polymerization/copolymerization of VC.  相似文献

Computational studies were performed to explain the highly varied stereoselectivities obtained in the reductions of acyclic phosphine oxides and sulfides by different chlorosilanes. The reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3), HSiCl(3)/Et(3)N, and Si(2)Cl(6) and the reductions of phosphine sulfides by Si(2)Cl(6) (all in benzene) were explored by means of B3LYP, B3LYP-D, and SCS-MP2 calculations. For the reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3), the calculations support the mechanism proposed by Horner in which a hydride is transferred from silicon to phosphorus through a four-centered, frontside transition state. This mechanism leads to retention of stereochemistry at phosphorus. For the other three reductions, two classes of mechanisms were explored. Phosphorane-based mechanisms that were previously proposed by Mislow and involve SiCl(3)(-) were compared with novel alternative mechanisms that involve nonionic rearrangement processes. In one of these, donor-stabilized SiCl(2) is formed as an intermediate. The calculations support a phosphorane-based mechanism for the reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3)/Et(3)N and Si(2)Cl(6) (which proceed with inversion) but favor the rearrangement pathways for the reductions of phosphine sulfides by Si(2)Cl(6) (which proceed with retention).  相似文献

Two new 5-formyluracil thiosemicarbazone (H(3)ut) derivatives, Me-H(3)ut (1) and Me(2)-H(3)ut (2), were synthesized by reacting thiosemicarbazides, mono- and dimethylated on the aminic nitrogen, with 5-formyluracil and were subsequently characterized. These ligands, treated with copper chloride and nitrate, afforded three complexes: [Cu(Me-H(3)ut)Cl(2)].H(2)O (3), [Cu(Me(2)-H(3)ut)Cl(2)].H(2)O (4), and [Cu(Me-H(3)ut)(NO(3))(OH(2))(2)]NO(3) (5). The crystal structures of these complexes have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In 3 and 4, a similar pentacoordination is present; the copper atom is surrounded by the ligand SNO donor atoms and by two chloride ions. The structure of 5 consists of [Cu(Me-H(3)ut)(NO(3))(OH(2))(2)](+) cations and nitrate anions. The copper coordination (4 + 2) involves the SNO ligand atoms and a water oxygen in the basal plane; the apical positions are occupied by a second water oxygen and by an oxygen of a monodentate nitrate group. Two biochemical techniques, namely DNA titration in the UV-vis region and thermal denaturation, have been employed to probe the details of DNA binding of these compounds. Analysis of the results suggests that our compounds are able to interact with DNA by electrostatic and groove binding but not by intercalation. The compounds have been also tested in vitro on human leukemic cell line U937, but they are not able to inhibit significantly cell proliferation.  相似文献

An enantio- and diastereoselective stepwise cyclization of polyprenoids induced by Lewis acid-assisted chiral Br?nsted acids (chiral LBAs) and achiral LBAs is described. In particular, the absolute stereocontrol in the initial cyclization of polyprenoids to form an A-ring induced by chiral LBAs and the importance of the nucleophilicity of the internal terminator in polyprenoids for the relative stereocontrol in subsequent cyclization are demonstrated. (-)-Ambrox was synthesized via the enantioselective cyclization of (E,E)-homofarnesyl triethylsilyl ether with tin(IV) chloride-coordinated (R)-2-(o-fluorobenzyloxy)-2'-hydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl ((R)-BINOL-o-FBn) and subsequent diastereoselective cyclization with CF(3)CO(2)H.SnCl(4) as key steps. Protection of (E,E)-homofarnesol by a triethylsilyl group increased the enantioselectivity of chiral LBA-induced cyclization and both the chemical yield and diastereoselectivity in the subsequent cyclization. The enantioselective cyclization of homo(polyprenyl)arenes possessing an aryl group was also induced by (R)-BINOL-o-FBn.SnCl(4). Several optically active podocarpa-8,11,13-triene diterpenoids and (-)-tetracyclic polyprenoid of sedimentary origin were synthesized (75-80% ee) by the enantioselective cyclization of homo(polyprenyl)benzene derivatives induced by (R)-BINOL-o-FBn.SnCl(4) and subsequent diastereoselective cyclization induced by BF(3).Et(2)O/EtNO(2) or CF(3)CO(2)H .SnCl(4).  相似文献

Syntheses of Sulfonated Derivatives of 2-Fluoroaniline Synthesis of 4-amino-3-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 3 ) was achieved in two ways: reaction of 2-fluoroaniline ( 1 ) with amidosulfonic acid and by first conventionally converting 4-nitro-3-fluoroaniline ( 8 ) to 4-nitro-3-fluorobenzenesulfonyl chloride ( 9 ) followed subsequently by hydrolysis to 3-fluoro-4-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid ( 10 ) and reduction. Hydrogenolysis of 3 gave sulfanilic acid ( 7 ). Both, sulfonation of fluorobenzene ( 6 ) to 4-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 11 ) followed by nitration and sulfonation of 1-fluoro-2-nitrobenzene ( 12 ) led to 4-fluoro-3-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid ( 13 ). Reduction of 13 gave the isomeric 3-amino-4-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 4 ), which was also obtained both by sulfonation of 1 and by sulfonation of o-fluoroacetanilide ( 14 ) followed by hydrolysis. Selective hydrogenolyses of 2-amino-5-bromo-3-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 15 ), prepared by reaction of 4-bromo-2-fluoroaniline ( 16 ) with amidosulfonic acid, and of 4-amino-2-bromo-5-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 20 ), obtained by sulfonation of 5-bromo-2-fluoroaniline ( 19 ) yielded the isomers 2-amino-3-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 5 ) and 3 , respectively. The fourth isomer, 3-amino-2-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid ( 2 ), was synthesized by sulfur dioxide treatment of the diazonium chloride derived from 2-fluoro-3-nitroaniline ( 21 ) to 2-fluoro-3-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride ( 22 ), followed by hydrolysis to 2-fluoro-3-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid ( 23 ) and final Béchamp-reduction.  相似文献

[UI(3)(THF)(4)] reacts at room temperature with 2 equiv of KBp(tBu,Me), in toluene, yielding [U(kappa(3)-H(mu-H)B(pz(tBu,Me))(pz(Me,tBu)))(2)I] (1). This unprecedented complex, stabilized by two asymmetric heteroscorpionate ligands, is formed due to an isomerization process promoted in situ by the metal center. To find a general method for preparing this type of compound, we synthesized the novel asymmetric K[H(2)B(pz(tBu,Me))(pz(Me2))], and by a straightforward salt metathesis with [UI(3)(THF)(4)] the novel bis-asymmetric complex [U(kappa(3)-H(mu-H)B(pz(tBu,Me))(pz(Me2)))(2)I] (2) was isolated and characterized in the solid state and in solution. As indicated by X-ray crystallographic analysis, the U(III) in 1 and 2 is seven-coordinated by two tridentate asymmetric dihydrobis(pyrazoly)borates and by an iodide. In both cases, the coordination geometry around the metal is very distorted, the pentagonal bipyramid being the one which better describes the arrangement of the atoms around the U(III). An approximate C(2) axis can be defined in the solid state, and is maintained in solution as indicated by the (1)H NMR spectrum of 1 and 2. In the course of attempting to crystallize some of the compounds, monocrystals of the dimer [U(kappa(3)-Bp(tBu,Me))(Hpz(tBu,Me))I(mu-I)](2) (3) were isolated. In this compound each U(III) atom is seven-coordinated by one kappa(3)-Bp(tBu,Me), by one terminal and by two bridging iodide ligands, and by a monodentate Hpz(tBu,Me), exhibiting a distorted 4:3 tetragonal base-trigonal geometry.  相似文献

NMR studies of paramagnetic proteins are hampered by the rapid relaxation of nuclei near the paramagnetic center, which prevents the application of conventional methods to investigations of the most interesting regions of such molecules. This problem is particularly acute in systems with slow electronic relaxation rates. We present a strategy that can be used with a protein with slow electronic relaxation to identify and assign resonances from nuclei near the paramagnetic center. Oxidized human [2Fe-2S] ferredoxin (adrenodoxin) was used to test the approach. The strategy involves six steps: (1) NMR signals from (1)H, (13)C, and (15)N nuclei unaffected or minimally affected by paramagnetic effects are assigned by standard multinuclear two- and three-dimensional (2D and 3D) spectroscopic methods with protein samples labeled uniformly with (13)C and (15)N. (2) The very broad, hyperfine-shifted signals from carbons in the residues that ligate the metal center are classified by amino acid and atom type by selective (13)C labeling and one-dimensional (1D) (13)C NMR spectroscopy. (3) Spin systems involving carbons near the paramagnetic center that are broadened but not hyperfine-shifted are elucidated by (13)C[(13)C] constant time correlation spectroscopy (CT-COSY). (4) Signals from amide nitrogens affected by the paramagnetic center are assigned to amino acid type by selective (15)N labeling and 1D (15)N NMR spectroscopy. (5) Sequence-specific assignments of these carbon and nitrogen signals are determined by 1D (13)C[(15)N] difference decoupling experiments. (6) Signals from (1)H nuclei in these spin systems are assigned by paramagnetic-optimized 2D and 3D (1)H[(13)C] experiments. For oxidized human ferredoxin, this strategy led to assignments (to amino acid and atom type) for 88% of the carbons in the [2Fe-2S] cluster-binding loops (residues 43-58 and 89-94). These included complete carbon spin-system assignments for eight of the 22 residues and partial assignments for each of the others. Sequence-specific assignments were determined for the backbone (15)N signals from nine of the 22 residues and ambiguous assignments for five of the others.  相似文献

For the first time, nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI)-Fe(3)O(4) nanocomposites, prepared by an in situ reduction method, are employed for chromium(VI) removal in aqueous environment. 96.4% Cr(VI) could be removed by these novel materials within 2h under pH of 8.0 and initial Cr concentration of 20 mg L(-1), compared with 48.8% by bare nFe(3)O(4) and 18.8% by bare nZVI. Effects of several factors, including mass composition of nZVI-Fe(3)O(4) nanocomposites, initial pH and Cr(VI) concentration, were evaluated. The optimal ratio of nFe(3)O(4) to nZVI mass lies at 12:1 with a fixed nZVI concentration of 0.05 g L(-1). Low pH and initial Cr(VI) concentration could increase both the Cr(VI) removal efficiency and reaction rate. Corresponding reaction kinetics fitted well with the pseudo second-order adsorption model. Free energy change (ΔG) of this reaction was calculated to be -4.6 kJ mol(-1) by thermodynamic study, which confirmed its spontaneous and endothermic characteristic. The experimental data could be well described by the Langmuir and Freundlich model, and the maximum capacity (q(max)) obtained from the Langmuir model was 100 and 29.43 mg g(-1) at pH 3.0 and 8.0, respectively. The reaction mechanism was discussed in terms of the mutual benefit brought by the electron transfer from Fe(0) to Fe(3)O(4).  相似文献

A number of new charge-neutral zwitterionic tris(methimazolyl)borate ligands have been synthesized, either by substitution of the dimethylamine group in the adduct (dimethylamine)tris(methimazolyl)borane (1) or by insertion into its B-N(dimethylamine) bond by an unsaturated Lewis base. Two new anionic ligands, (thiocyanato)tris(methimazolyl)borate and (cyano)tris(methimazolyl)borate, have also been accessed by this method.  相似文献

Reduction of the amide or replacement of the hydroxyl by a bromide in 2-(diphenylphosphanyl)-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzamide (H2PNO) yielded the compounds 2-(diphenylphosphanyl)-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzylamine (H2CH2PNO, 1) and N-(2-bromoethyl)-2-(diphenylphosphanyl)benzamide (HPNBr, 2), respectively. Compound 2 is obtained in low yield and, depending on the reaction conditions, is mixed with starting material or with a product which has been identified as 2-(2-diphenylphosphinophenyl)oxazoline (PPh3oxaz, 3). Compounds 1 and 2 react with (NEt(4))(2)[ReBr(3)(CO)(3)], leading to the complexes [Re(CO)(3)(kappa(2)-H(2)CH(2)PNO)Br] (4) and [Re(CO)(3)(kappa(2)-PPh(3)oxazBr)] (5), fully characterized by (1)H and (31)P NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallographic analysis. Complex 5 is the first example of a Re(I) tricarbonyl anchored on a phosphorus-oxazoline ligand, which has been generated during the course of complex formation. In the unexpected and unusual complex 5, the Re atom is stabilized by a bidentate 2-(2-diphenylphosphinophenyl)oxazoline, by a bromide, and by three facially arranged carbonyl groups. In complex 4, the carbonyl groups are also facially coordinated to the metal center and the other three remaining coordination positions are occupied by a bromide and by the bidentate (P, N) ligand 2-(diphenylphosphanyl)-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)benzylamine.  相似文献

Two fluorescent ligands, 3,5-dimethyl-4-(6'-sulfonylammonium-1'-azonaphthyl)pyrazole (dmpzn, 1) and 3,5-dimethyl-4-(4'-N,N'-dimethylaminoazophenyl)pyrazole (dmpza, 2) were obtained by condensation of ketoenolic derivatives with hydrazine. 1 and 2 formed the novel dinuclear complexes [(H(2)O)(3)ClRu(micro-L)(2)RuCl(H(2)O)(3)] (3 or 4) and [(H(2)O)(NO)Cl(2)Ru(micro-L)(2)RuCl(2)(NO)(H(2)O)] (6 or 7) (where L 1 = 2 or , respectively) which were characterized by IR, NMR and elemental analysis. The nitrosyl complexes were prepared by bubbling purified nitric oxide through methanol solutions of the corresponding ruthenium(II) chloroderivative or by reaction of the appropriate ligands with Ru(NO)Cl(3). Complexes 3 and 4 were found to bind NO, resulting in an increase in fluorescence. Ligand 1 also formed the mononuclear nitrosyl complex [Ru(NO)(bpy)(2)(dmpzn)]Cl(2) (8) which released NO in water at physiological pH and in the solid state as revealed by fluorescence and IR measurements, respectively.  相似文献

The s(2) centers, Sn(II), Ge(II), and In(i) reduce Mo(V)(CN)(8)(3-) and W(V)(CN)(8)(3-) quantitatively to the corresponding octacyanomolybdate(IV) and -tungstate(iv) anions. Reductions by In(i) proceed 10(3)-10(5) times as rapidly as those by Sn(II) and Ge(II). All reactions are triggered by a single electron oxidation, yielding a much more reactive s(1) intermediate. Reductions by Sn(II) in chloride medium proceed predominantly through the SnCl(3)(-) anion. The Ge(II)-W(CN)(8)(3-) reaction is initiated by a slow unimolecular heterolysis of the Ge(II) center, yielding very nearly linear profiles when the reductant is in excess.  相似文献

An interesting transformation of a structurally characterized monooxoalkoxovanadium(V) complex [VO(OEt)L] (LH 2 = a dibasic tridentate ONO donor ligand) in solution leading to the formation of the corresponding monooxobridged divanadium(V,V) complex (VOL) 2O is reported. This binuclear species in solution is adequately characterized by elemental analysis, measurement of conductance (in solution), various spectroscopic (UV-vis, IR, NMR, and mass spectrometry) techiniques and by cyclic voltammetry. The corresponding mixed-valence vanadium(IV,V) species has been generated in CH 3CN solution by controlled potential electrolysis of (VOL) 2O. This mixed-valence species is identified and studied by EPR technique (at room temperature and at liquid nitrogen temperature) and also by UV-vis spectroscopy. This study may be regarded as a general method of obtaining monooxo-bridged binuclear vanadium(V,V) species from the corresponding mononuclear monooxoalkoxovanadium(V) complexes of some selected dibasic tridentate ONO chelating ligands, which can be utilized as the precursor of monooxobridged divanadium(IV,V) mixed-valence species in solution obtainable by controlled potential electrolysis.  相似文献

A new variation of isotope dilution analysis based on double labelling and carried out on filter paper is described. The determination of microgram and submicrogram amounts of silver (labelled with (110m)Ag) by precipitation with iodide (labelled with (131)I) and of calcium (labelled with (45)Ca) by precipitation with phosphate (labelled with (32)P) are given as examples. In the first example the two radio-elements ((110m)Ag and (131)I) are measured by gamma-spectrometry, in the second one ((45)Ca and(32)P) by a beta-absorption method. A number of results show the usefulness of the method.  相似文献

An ionic form of diphenyltrichlorophosphorane, namely, diphenyldichlorophosphonium trichloride isolated as a dichlorine solvate (1), was obtained by treating PPh(2)Cl(3) with excess chlorine. The identity of this species was established by single-crystal X-ray analysis and (31)P, (1)H, and (35)Cl NMR and Raman spectra. Bis(diphenyldichlorophosphonium) pentachloroindate (2) was obtained by the reaction of diphenyltrichlorophosphorane with indium trichloride in dichloromethane for comparison purposes. Its identity was determined by (31)P NMR spectra and single-crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of ferrocene-based oligomers that contained two different elements (Si and Sn) as alternating bridges is described for the first time. The salt-metathesis reaction of R(2) Si[(C(5) H(4) )Fe(C(5) H(4) Li)](2) (R=Me, Et) with R'(2) SnCl(2) (R'=Me, nBu, tBu) afforded a mixture of oligomers (6(Me) SnMe(2), 6(Et) SnMe(2), 6(Me) SnnBu(2), 6(Et) SnnBu(2), 6(Me) SntBu(2), and 6(Et) SntBu(2)). These oligomers were characterized by (1) H, (13) C, (29) Si, and (119) Sn?NMR spectroscopy and by mass spectrometry. MS (MALDI-TOF) studies of 6(Et) SnMe(2) revealed the presence of linear (l) and cyclic (c) species that contained up to 20?ferrocene moieties. The molecular weights of the polymers were determined by gel-permeation chromatography (GPC) and by dynamic-light scattering (DLS). GPC analysis revealed average molecular weights of 2100-6300?Da with respect to polystyrene as a standard. DLS analysis yielded very similar results. Some compounds, c-(6(Me) SnMe(2) )(1), c-(6(Me) SntBu(2))(2), c-(6(Et) SnMe(2))(1), c-(6(Et) SntBu(2))(2), l-(6(Me) SnnBu(2) )(2), and l-(6(Me) SnnBu(2))(3), which contained up to six ferrocene moieties, were isolated in their pure form either by column chromatography or by crystallization. The Si- and Sn-bridged macrocycles that contained four ferrocene units (c-(6(Me) SntBu(2))(2) and c-(6(Et) SntBu(2))(2)) were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

The simple silylhydrazines F(3)SiN(Me)NMe(2) (1), F(2)Si(N(Me)NMe(2))(2) (2), and F(3)SiN(SiMe(3))NMe(2) (3) have been prepared by reaction of SiF(4) with LiN(Me)NMe(2) and LiN(SiMe(3))NMe(2), while F(3)SiN(SnMe(3))NMe(2) (4) was prepared from SiF(4) and (Me(3)Sn)(2)NNMe(2) (5). The compounds were characterized by gas-phase IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy ((1)H, (13)C, (14/15)N, (19)F, (29)Si, (119)Sn), as well as by mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of compounds 1-5 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The structures of free molecules 1 and 3 were determined by gas-phase electron diffraction. The structures of 1, 2, and 4 were also determined by ab initio calculations at the MP2/6-311+G** level of theory. These structural studies constitute the first experimental proof for the presence of strong Si.N beta-donor-acceptor bonds between the SiF(3) and geminal NMe(2) groups in silylhydrazines. The strength of these non-classical Si.N interactions is strongly dependent on the nature of the substituent at the alpha-nitrogen atom of the SiNN unit, and has the order 3>4>1. The valence angles at these extremely deformed alpha-nitrogen atoms, and the Si.N distances are (crystal/gas): 1 104.2(1)/106.5(4) degrees, 2.438(1)/2.510(6) A; 3 83.6(1)/84.9(4) degrees, 2.102(1)/2.135(9) A; 4 89.6(1) degrees, 2.204(2) A.  相似文献

On the Synthesis of Sulfonated Derivatives of 4- and 5-Aminoindan Baking the hydrogensulfate salt of 4-aminoindan (1) and 5-aminoindan (2) led, respectively, to 4-aminoindan-7-sulfonic acid (3) and 5-aminoindan-6-sulfonic acid (4). Acid 4 was also obtained by direct sulfonation of 2. 4-Aminoindan-6-sulfonic acid (5) and 6-aminoindan-4-sulfonic acid (6) were prepared by sulfonation of 4-nitroindan (7) and 5-nitroindan (9) , respectively, to 4-nitroindan-6-sulfonic acid (8) and 6-nitroindan-4-sulfonic acid (10) , followed by a Béchamp-reduction. Treatment of 1 with amidosulfuric acid gave 3 , whereas the same reaction with 2 led to a mixture of 4 and 5-aminoindan-4-sulfonic acid (11). Independent synthesis of 11 was achieved by the following sequence of reactions: sulfur dioxide treatment of the diazonium chloride derived from 4-amino-5-nitrodan (13) gave 5-nitroindan-4-sulfonyl chloride (14) ; hydrolysis to 5-nitroindan-4-sulfonic acid (15) , and final reduction. The 4-aminoindan-5-sulfonic acid (16) was synthesized by treatment of 4-amino-7-bromoindan (18) with amidosulfuric acid to give 4-amino-7-bromoindan-5-sulfonic acid (19) followed by hydrogenolysis. Sulfonation of 4-acetyl-amino-7-bromoindan (17) with oleum followed by hydrolysis led to 7-amino-4-bromoindan-5-sulfonic acid (20) , the structure of which was confirmed by reductive dehalogenation to 5 .  相似文献

The reactivity of a series of Zn(Cys)(4) zinc finger model peptides towards H(2)O(2) and O(2) has been investigated. The oxidation products were identified by HPLC and ESI-MS analysis. At pH<7.5, the zinc complexes and the free peptides are oxidised to bis-disulfide-containing peptides. Above pH 7.5, the oxidation of the zinc complexes by H(2)O(2) also yields sulfinate- and sulfonate-containing overoxidised peptides. At pH 7.0, monitoring of the reactions between the zinc complexes and H(2)O(2) by HPLC revealed the sequential formation of two disulfides. Several techniques for the determination of the rate constant for the first oxidation step corresponding to the attack of H(2)O(2) by the Zn(Cys)(4) site have been compared. This rate constant can be reliably determined by monitoring the oxidation by HPLC, fluorescence, circular dichroism or absorption spectroscopy in the presence of excess ethyleneglycol bis(2-aminoethyl ether)tetraacetic acid. In contrast, monitoring of the release of zinc with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol or of the thiol content with 5,5'-dithiobis(2-nitrobenzoate) did not yield reliable values of this rate constant for the case in which the formation of the second disulfide is slower than the formation of the first. The kinetic measurements clearly evidence a protective effect of zinc on the oxidation of the cysteines by both H(2)O(2) and O(2), which points to the fact that zinc binding diminishes the nucleophilicity of the thiolates. In addition, the reaction between the zinc finger and H(2)O(2) is too slow to consider zinc fingers as potential sensors for H(2)O(2) in cells.  相似文献
