We show that either the intersection ?γΓ(Gγ)? of the ?-neighborhood of the sets Gγ is bounded for each ?>0, or it is unbounded for each ?>0. We establish a pre-order principle. From the principle, we obtain a very general set-valued Ekeland variational principle, where the objective function is a set-valued map taking values in a quasi-ordered linear space and the perturbation contains a family of set-valued maps satisfying certain property. From this general set-valued Ekeland variational principle, we deduce a number of particular versions of set-valued Ekeland variational principle, which include many known Ekeland variational principles, their improvements and some new results.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a general version of Ekeland's variational principle in locally convex spaces, where perturbations contain subadditive functions of topology generating seminorms and nonincreasing functions of the objective function. From this, we obtain a number of special versions of Ekeland's principle, which include all the known extensions of the principle in locally convex spaces. Moreover, we give a general criterion for judging the density of extremal points in the general Ekeland's principle, which extends and improves the related known results.  相似文献

By using a very general drop theorem in locally convex spaces we obtain some extended versions of Ekeland's variational principle, which only need assume local completeness of some related sets and improve Hamel's recent results. From this, we derive some new versions of Caristi's fixed points theorems. In the framework of locally convex spaces, we prove that Daneš' drop theorem, Ekeland's variational principle, Caristi's fixed points theorem and Phelps lemma are equivalent to each other.  相似文献

The aim of the paper is to characterize the classical convexity notion for cooperative TU games by means of the Mas-Colell and the Davis–Maschler bargaining sets. A new set of payoff vectors is introduced and analyzed: the max-Weber set. This set is defined as the convex hull of the max-marginal worth vectors. The characterizations of convexity are reached by comparing the classical Weber set, the max-Weber set and a selected bargaining set.  相似文献

This paper introduces a vectorial form of equilibrium version of Ekeland-type variational principle. Some equivalent results to our variational principle are given. As applications, we derive the existence of solutions of a vector equilibrium problem in the setting of complete quasi-metric spaces with a W-distance. Caristi-Kirk fixed point theorem for multivalued maps is also established in a more general setting.  相似文献

We derive a global regularity theorem for stress fields which correspond to minimizers of convex and some special nonconvex variational problems with mixed boundary conditions on admissible domains. These are Lipschitz domains satisfying additional geometric conditions near those points, where the type of the boundary conditions changes. In the first part it is assumed that the energy densities defining the variational problem are convex but not necessarily strictly convex and satisfy a convexity inequality. The regularity result for this case is derived with a difference quotient technique. In the second part the regularity results are carried over from the convex case to special nonconvex variational problems taking advantage of the relation between nonconvex variational problems and the corresponding (quasi-) convexified problems. The results are applied amongst others to the variational problems for linear elasticity, the p-Laplace operator, Hencky elasto-plasticity with linear hardening and for scalar and vectorial two-well potentials (compatible case).   相似文献

The quantitative analysis shows that no theoretical model for 3-d magnetoelastic bodies, in literatures to date, can commonly simulate two kinds of distinct experimental phenomena on magnetoelastic interaction of ferromagnetic structures. This makes it difficult to effectively discribe the magnetoelastic mechanical behavior of structures with complex geometry, such as shells. Therefore, it is a key step for simulating magnetoelastic mechanical characteristics of structures with complex geometry to establish a 3-d model which also can commonly characterize the two distinct experimental phenomena. A theoretical model for three dimension magnetizable elastic bodies, which is commonly suitable for the two kinds of experimental phenomena on magnetoelastic interaction of ferromagnetic plates, is presented by the variational principle for the total energy functional of the coupling system of the 3-d ferromagnetic bodies. It is found that for the case of linear isotropic magnetic materials, the magnetic forces obtained by this model include not only the body magnetic force which is the same as that got from the magnetic dipole model, but also a distribution of the magnetic traction on the surface of the magnetizable body. And the value of the traction is equal to the jumping one of the Faraday electromagnetic stress on the two sides of the surface, which does not appear in any model, such as magnetic dipole model and axiomatic model. Chebyshev systems induce in a natural way a concept of convexity. The functions convex in this sense behave in many aspects similarly to ordinary convex functions. In this paper support-type properties are investigated. Using osculatory interpolation, the existence of support-like functions is established for functions convex with respect to Chebyshev systems. Unique supports are determined. A characterization of the generalized convexity via support properties is presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we first establish some existence theorems of systems of generalized vector equilibrium problems. From these results, we obtain new variants of Ekeland’s variational principle in a Hausdorff t.v.s., a minimax theorem and minimization theorems. Some applications to the existence theorem of systems of semi-infinite problem, a variant of flower petal theorem and a generalization of Schauder’s fixed point theorem are also given.  相似文献

We develop a theory of best simultaneous approximation for closed convex sets in a conditionally complete lattice Banach space X with a strong unit. We study best simultaneous approximation in X by elements of closed convex sets, and give necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of best simultaneous approximation. We give a characterization of simultaneous pseudo-Chebyshev and quasi-Chebyshev closed convex sets in X. Also, we present various characterizations of best simultaneous approximation of elements by closed convex sets in terms of the extremal points of the closed unit ball B X* of X*.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concept of τ-function which generalizes the concept of w-distance studied in the literature. We establish a generalized Ekeland's variational principle in the setting of lower semicontinuous from above and τ-functions. As applications of our Ekeland's variational principle, we derive generalized Caristi's (common) fixed point theorems, a generalized Takahashi's nonconvex minimization theorem, a nonconvex minimax theorem, a nonconvex equilibrium theorem and a generalized flower petal theorem for lower semicontinuous from above functions or lower semicontinuous functions in the complete metric spaces. We also prove that these theorems also imply our Ekeland's variational principle.  相似文献
