The formation of infrared femtosecond laser induced colour centres was observed in Tb^3 -doped and Tb^3 /Ce^3 -codoped heavy germanate glasses. A rectangular scan was made by focusing the laser beam inside the glasssamples. A three-dimensional yellowish block was created from the path and it corresponded to the appearanceof broad absorption bands in the absorption spectra. The irradiation induced absorption coefficient μ(λ) wasused to characterize the distribution of radiation induced colour centres in the samples, whose peak was locatedat 380 nm and extended to the longer wavelength. Ce^3 ions were found not only to inhibit the formation ofcolour centres, but also to enhance the recovery.  相似文献

The upconversion properties of Tm^3 /Yb3 -codoped lead chloride tellurite glass under 980hm excitation were investigated. The intense blue (476nm) emission and weak red (649 nm) emission corresponding to the ^1G4→4 ^3H6 and ^1G4→^3H4 transitions of Tm^3 ions, respectively, were simultaneously observed at room temperature. The dependence of upconversion intensities on excitation power and the possible upconversion mechanisms are evaluated. The intense blue upconversion luminescence of Tm^3 /Yb^3 -codoped lead chloride tellurite glass can be used as potential host material for the development of blue upconversion optical devices.  相似文献

Tb^3+:YAG单晶荧光层中掺杂Ga^3+的荧光敏化作用   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
采用液相外延工艺成功制备了Tb^3 :YAGG单晶荧光层,研究了Tb^3 激活YAG主晶格外延层中Ga^3 掺杂的荧光敏化效应,可以看到在Tb^3 荧光得到显著增强的同时,外延荧光层发光的饱和特性也有所改善。实验中观察到了Ga^3 掺杂后基质晶体吸收边缘向长波方向展宽,并与Tb^3 的^7Fe6-^9E、^7E典型吸收峰发生交叠的现象,用基质与Tb^3 之间的声子耦合解释了上述Tb^3 :YAGG外延层中所存在的能量传递、荧光敏化现象。基质与掺杂激活中心间能量传递机制的建立将会为基于YAG主晶格的高效荧光材料研究提供一个新的思路。  相似文献

New oxyfluoride g/asses and glass ceramic codoped with Nd3 , Yb3 and Ho3 were prepared. The x-raydiffraction analysis revealed that the heat treatments of the oxyfluoride g/asses could cause the precipitationof (Nd^3 , Yb^3 , Ho^3 )-doped fluorite-type crystals. Very strong green up-conversion luminescence due to theHo3 : (^5F4, ^5S2)→ ^5I8 transition under 800-nm excitation was observed in these transparent glass ceramics.The intensity of the green up-conversion luminescence in a 1-mo1% YbF3-containing glass ceramic was found tobe about 120 times stronger than that in the precursor oxyfluoride glass. The reason for the highly efficient Ho^3 up-conversion luminescence in the oxyfluoride g/ass ceramics is discussed.  相似文献

计算了YAG晶体中Tm^3+离子辐射跃迁几率Aij,无辐射跃迁几率Wij,交叉弛豫几率P,荧光寿命τi和荧光分支比βij等荧光特征参量,并利用这些值及跃迁速率方程讨论了^3F4能级荧光强度与掺杂浓度的关系,得出当激发光的泵浦速率从10^2~10^6s^-1时,Tm^3+离子的最佳相对浓度Xop在4.9~6.4%之间。  相似文献

Strong upconversion luminescence of Er3 /Yb3 -doped lead halide tellurite glass under 976nm excitation is demonstrated. Three emission bands centred at 525 nm, 545 nm, and 655 nm resulting from the transitionsfrom the excited states 2H11/2, 4S3/2, and 4F9/2 to the ground state 4I15/2, respectively, are observed evenat 60mW pumping power. The power dependent intensity and the upconversion mechanisms responsible forthe luminescence are evaluated and discussed. 在本文中制作了CaAl4O7:Tb^3 ,Ce^3 新荧光材料。烧结温度为1300℃,烧结环境为N2+5%H2还原气。TEM实验结果表明样品的粒度小于1μm。X-射线和HRTEM实验证实,样品的晶格点阵十分规则,而且没有发现掺杂和助溶剂对基质结构的影响,表现出十分好的材料质量。光学实验观测到对应于Tb^3 离子的^5D4到^7FJ(J=6,5,4,3)的跃迁发射峰在485,545,590和630nm。CaAl4O7:Tb^3 ,Ce^3 降低了基质结构的不确定性,同时保持了Tb^3 发光中心的特性。  相似文献

Frequency upconversion fluorescence property of Er^3 -doped oxychloride germanate glass is investigated. Intense green and red emissions centred at 525, 546, and 657nm, corresponding to the transitions ^2H11/2→4I15/2,^4S3/2→^4I15/2, and ^4F9/2→^4I15/2, respectively, were simultaneously observed at room temperature. The quadratic dependence of the 525, 546, and 657nm emissions on excitation power indicates that a two-photon absorption process occurs under 975 nm laser diode (LD) excitation. The Raman spectrum investigation indicates that oxychloride germanate glass has the maximum phonon energy at-805cm^-1. The thermal stability of this oxychloride germanate glass is evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry, and thermal stability factor AT(△T = Tx -Tg) is 187℃. Intense upconversion luminescence and good thermal stability indicate that Er^3 -doped oxychloride germanate glass is a promising upconversion laser material.  相似文献

Ce^3+/Er^3+/Bi^3+ triply-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) is synthesized using co-precipitation method. The Bi^3+ concentration-dependent near-infrared (NIR) emission behavior is systemically in- vestigated. The NIR emission of Er^3+ ions at 1531 nm is enhanced threefold by the addition of 7 mol% Bi^3+. Bi^3+doping results in the formation of exciton in YAG and the variation in the local environment of the doped rare-earth ions. The enhancement in NIR luminescence is ascribed to the combined effects of the sensitization of exciton→Ce^3+ →Er^3+ and the Bi^3+ doping-induced adjustment of the local environment for Ce^3+ and Er^3+ ions.  相似文献
