A technique for the separation of 42 trace elements from up to 5 g of molybdenum and tungsten matrices was developed by means of the radiotracer technique. It is based on adsorption of the analyses on the cation exchanger Dowex 50 W x 9 from a 4% H2O2/0.01 mol 1−1 HNO3 solution followed by their elution with 15 ml of 4 mol I−1 HNO3 in the opposite flow direction. Both matrices were removed with a separation factor > 104. The separation technique was applied to the analysis of these materials by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and total reflection X-ray fluorescence spetrometry. For all the determination methods used, the limits of detection are given and compared with those of other methods. With inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, for 22 of the 30 assayed elements, limits of detection at the sub-ng g−1 level were achieved. The results are compared with those obtained by radiochemical neutron activation analysis in this work and by glow discharge mass spectrometry, secondary ion mass spectrometry, isotope dilution mass spectrometry and by solution spectrometric methods in other laboratories.  相似文献

Six new dioxobridged complexes of molybdenum (IV) and tungsten (IV) with N-alkylphenothiazines having the general formula M2O4(L)2(H2O)2 [where M = molybdenum or tungsten and L = N-alkylphenothiazines] have been synthesised. The complexes have been characterised on the basis of analytical, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, spectral data, TGA and DTA. The low magnetic moments for the complexes are due to spin-spin interaction or metal-metal bonding. The interactions of these complexes with some biologically important amino acids have been studied.  相似文献

The determination of trace metals, e.g. Bi, Cd, Pb, in high-purity aluminium, zinc and commercial steel by flame or graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry following their preconcentrations as iodo complexes on XAD-1180 resin by means of a short column system is described. The recoveries are quantitative (95%). The relative standard deviations varies between 6% and 10%. The relative errors are less than 8% in a concentration range of 1 × 10–3 –4 × 10–5%. Detection limits for flame AAS and GFAAS were in the ranges of 0.002–0.110 g/ml and 0.0003–0.004 g/ml or in the ranges of 0.08–4.40 g/g and 0.012–0.16 g/g with respect to the solid samples, respectively.  相似文献

A new functionalized calix[6]crown hydroxamic acid is reported for the speciation, liquid-liquid extraction, sequential separation and trace determination of Cr(III), Mo(VI) and W(VI). Chromium(III), molybdenum(VI) and tungsten(VI) are extracted at pH 4.5, 1.5 M HCl and 6.0 M HCl, respectively with calixcrown hydroxamic acid (37,38,39,40,41,42-hexahydroxy7,25,31-calix[6]crown hydroxamic acid) in chloroform in presence of large number of cations and anions. The extraction mechanism is investigated. The various extraction parameters, appropriate pH/M HCl, choice of solvent, effect of the reagent concentration, temperature and distribution constant have been studied. The speciation, preconcentration and kinetic of transport has been investigated. The maximum transport is observed 35, 45 and 30 min for chromium(III), molybdenum(VI) and tungsten(IV), respectively. For trace determination the extracts were directly inserted into the plasma for inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, ICP-AES, measurements of chromium, molybdenum and tungsten which increase the sensitivity by 30-fold, with detection limits of 3 ng ml−1. The method is applied for the determination of chromium, molybdenum and tungsten in high purity grade ores, biological and environmental samples. The chromium was recovered from the effluent of electroplating industries.  相似文献

Mononuclear and homobinuclear o-cresolphthalein complexone complexes with VO2+, Cr3+, MoO+, and UO2 2+ have been prepared and their structures investigated. The empirical formulas, the mode of bonding, and the geometry of the complexes were obtained from elemental and thermal analyses, IR, electronic and ESR spectra, magnetic moment determinations, DC and CV polarographic studies.  相似文献

In this review sample preparation strategies used for crude oil digestion in last ten years are discussed focusing on further metals and non-metals determination. One of the main challenges of proposed methods has been to overcome the difficulty to bring crude oil samples into solution, which should be compatible with analytical techniques used for element determination. On this aspect, this review summarizes the sample preparation methods for metals and non metals determination in crude oil including those based on wet digestion, combustion, emulsification, extraction, sample dilution with organic solvents, among others. Conventional methods related to wet digestion with concentrated acids or combustion are also covered, with special emphasis to closed systems. Trends in sample digestion, such as microwave-assisted digestion using diluted acids combined with high-efficiency decomposition systems are discussed. On the other hand, strategies based on sample dilution in organic solvents and procedures recommended for speciation analysis are reported as well as the use of direct analysis in view of the recent importance for crude oil field. A compilation concerning sample preparation for crude oil provided by official methods as well as certified reference materials available for accuracy evaluation is also presented and discussed.  相似文献
