Non-smooth systems (namely piecewise-smooth systems) have received much attention in the last decade. Many contributions in this area show that theory and applications (to electronic circuits, mechanical systems, …) are relevant to problems in science and engineering. Specially, new bifurcations have been reported in the literature, and this was the topic of this minisymposium. Thus both bifurcation theory and its applications were included. Several contributions from different fields show that non-smooth bifurcations are a hot topic in research. Thus in this paper the reader can find contributions from electronics, energy markets and population dynamics. Also, a carefully-written specific algebraic software tool is presented.  相似文献

In this paper we present an extension of Moreau’s sweeping process for higher order systems. The dynamical framework is carefully introduced, qualitative, dissipativity, stability, existence, regularity and uniqueness results are given. The time-discretization of these nonsmooth systems with a time-stepping algorithm is also presented. This differential inclusion can be seen as a mathematical formulation of complementarity dynamical systems with arbitrary dimension and arbitrary relative degree between the complementary-slackness variables. Applications of such high-order sweeping processes can be found in dynamic optimization under state constraints and electrical circuits with ideal diodes.  相似文献

In this paper, electrical analogous models of fractional hereditary materials are introduced. Based on recent works by the authors, mechanical models of materials viscoelasticity behavior are firstly approached by using fractional mathematical operators. Viscoelastic models have elastic and viscous components which are obtained by combining springs and dashpots. Various arrangements of these elements can be used, and all of these viscoelastic models can be equivalently modeled as electrical circuits, where the spring and dashpot are analogous to the capacitance and resistance, respectively. The proposed models are validated by using modal analysis. Moreover, a comparison with numerical experiments based on finite difference time domain method shows that, for long time simulations, the correct time behavior can be obtained only with modal analysis. The use of electrical analogous in viscoelasticity can better reveal the real behavior of fractional hereditary materials.  相似文献

This paper studies the problems of stick-slip mitigation and speed tuning for a lumped-parameter drill-string system by using a proportional-derivative feedback controller via path-following analysis. In this study, we consider two main control parameters, the weight-on-bit and the desired drill-bit speed. In particular, we determine the combinations of these two parameters for which the proposed control scheme is applicable, which is affected by the non-smooth nature of the system induced by bit-rock interaction. Our analysis using path-following techniques for non-smooth systems reveals the inherent coexistence of stick-slip vibration and constant rotation, and identifies a critical point where the drill-bit speed coincides with the desired angular speed. Furthermore, our analysis proposes a strategy that allows controlling the drill-bit speed to suppress stick-slip, by tuning the controller in a suitable manner.  相似文献

The paper presents existence and multiplicity results for non-linear boundary value problems on possibly non-smooth and unbounded domains under possibly non-homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. We develop here an appropriate functional setting based on weighted Sobolev spaces. Our results are obtained by using global minimization and a minimax approach using a non-smooth critical point theory.  相似文献

In this paper, two existence results for a class of second order periodic boundary value problems with non-smooth potential are obtained. We extend the Castro-Lazer-Thews reduction method to non-smooth functionals, the obtained result is then exploited to prove the existence of a nontrivial solution. We consider a simple friction oscillator with one degree of freedom using a non-smooth, three-parameter fricion model accounting for both, a decreasing and increasing dynamic friction force depending on the relative velocity. An analysis of global non-smooth bifurcations is performed numerically and parameter domains are computed for the existence of stick-slip oscillations. The generation of novel chaotic funnel-shaped attractors is introduced and the analysis of related critical values is given with a proposed switching method in this paper. The underlying mechanism involves a simple three-dimensional switched system and a hysteretically switching signal. Moreover, theoretic analysis is carried out to study the attractor generation and the corresponding critical values by fully utilizing the specific structure of the non-smooth system. Based on carefully derivation, the critical values and related stability regions of the created attractors are estimated explicitly, which is usually impossible for general non-smooth dynamics. In addition, it is demonstrated by simulation that various attractor patterns are generated conveniently by adjusting suitable system parameters.  相似文献

This paper gives a new dimension-reduced method of sensitivity analysis for perturbed stochastic user equilibrium assignment (SUEA) model based on the relation between its Lagrange function and logarithmic barrier function combined with a Courant quadratic penalty term. The advantage of this method is of smaller dimension than general sensitivity analysis and reducing complexity. Firstly, it presents the dimension-reduced sensitivity results of the general nonlinear programming perturbation problem and the improved results when the objective or constraint functions are not twice continuously differentiable. Then it proves the corresponding conclusion of SUEA with smooth or non-smooth cost functions by the method of converting constraint conditions and decision variables. Finally, two corresponding examples (smooth and non-smooth) are given to illustrate the feasibility of this method.  相似文献

本文基于局部分数阶Taylor展开式构造非光滑函数的分数阶插值公式,证明了插值公式的存在和唯一性,给出了分数阶插值的Lagrange表示形式及其误差余项,讨论了一种混合型的分段分数阶插值和整数阶插值的收敛阶.数值算例验证了对于非光滑函数分数阶插值明显优于通常的多项式插值,并说明在实际计算中采用分段混合分数阶和整数阶插值可以使得插值误差在区间上分布均匀,能够极大地提高插值精度.  相似文献

This paper presents some new ideas to understand the strange attractor fragmentation caused by grazing in non-smooth dynamic systems. The sufficient and necessary conditions for grazing bifurcations in non-smooth dynamic systems are presented. The initial sets of grazing mapping are introduced and the corresponding initial grazing manifolds are discussed. The grazing-induced fragmentation of strange attractors of chaotic motions in non-smooth dynamical systems is presented. The mathematical theory for such a fragmentation of strange attractors should be further developed.  相似文献

In this paper, the Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov equation is studied by using the bifurcation method of dynamical systems and the method of phase portraits analysis. From dynamic point of view, the existence of peakon, solitary wave, smooth and non-smooth periodic waves is proved and the sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions in different regions of the parametric space are given. In this paper, we establish relationships between vector variational-like inequality problems and non-smooth vector optimization problems under non-smooth invexity. We identify the vector critical points, the weakly efficient points and the solutions of the non-smooth weak vector variational-like inequality problems, under non-smooth pseudo-invexity assumptions. In this paper, a partial differential equation is investigated by using the bifurcation theory and the method of phase portraits analysis, the existence of loop soliton, peakon, generalized compacton, smooth and non-smooth periodic waves, breaking kink and anti-kink waves is proved. In different regions of the parametric space, the sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions are given. This paper presents efficient chaotic invasive weed optimization (CIWO) techniques based on chaos for solving optimal power flow (OPF) problems with non-smooth generator fuel cost functions (non-smooth OPF) with the minimum pollution level (environmental OPF) in electric power systems. OPF problem is used for developing corrective strategies and to perform least cost dispatches. However, cost based OPF problem solutions usually result in unattractive system gaze emission issue (environmental OPF). In the present paper, the OPF problem is formulated by considering the emission issue. The total emission can be expressed as a non-linear function of power generation, as a multi-objective optimization problem, where optimal control settings for simultaneous minimization of fuel cost and gaze emission issue are obtained. The IEEE 30-bus test power system is presented to illustrate the application of the environmental OPF problem using CIWO techniques. Our experimental results suggest that CIWO techniques hold immense promise to appear as efficient and powerful algorithm for optimization in the power systems.  相似文献
