根据光谱学,总的光谱线型是各种加宽机制的卷积结果。考虑到等离子体中的离子碰撞,Stark加宽本质上是一种非对称的光谱线型, 其中微场分布函数对光谱线型起着非常关键的作用。该文利用不同的微场分布函数研究了微场分布函数对总的光谱线型的影响。研究结果表明,在电子加宽参数和离子加宽参数很小时,不同微场分布函数对整个光谱线型的影响基本相似,但随着离子加宽参数的增加,3种不同的微场分布函数对Stark光谱线型的影响逐渐增加; 随着电子加宽参数的增加,不同的微场分布函数对Stark光谱线型的影响也逐渐增加; 但总体上Holtsmark分布和Nearest-Neighbor场分布下的光谱线型差别较小,但是Mayer模型对光谱线型影响较大。特别是,当离子加宽参数较大时,Mayer模型对光谱线型的影响异常明显,这也正说明离子间碰撞剧烈时对光谱线型的影响很大。该结果对等离子体参数诊断有一定参考价值。  相似文献

分别采用Holtsmark,Neutral Point,Nearest-Neighbor和Mayer模型微场分布函数对Stark线型进行了研究,进而得到相应微场函数下的Stark加宽和频移,研究了4种不同的微场分布函数对Stark加宽和频移的影响。研究结果表明,在电子加宽参数不变时,4种微场分布函数对Stark加宽和频移的影响随离子加宽参数的增加而增加;在离子加宽参数不变时,4种微场分布函数对Stark加宽和频移的影响随电子加宽参数的增加而增加;特别是,当离子加宽参数较大时,Mayer模型微场分布函数对Stark加宽和频移的影响异常明显。这说明,微场分布函数对谱线的加宽和频移的影响在离子与离子碰撞剧烈的等离子体环境中尤其显著, 在这样的等离子体环境中,进行等离子体诊断时,选择合适的微场分布函数非常重要。结果对等离子体诊断有一定参考价值。  相似文献

For the hydrogen line L-β, broadening in an Ar+-plasma (Ne = 7.2 × 1016 cm?3, T = 12,200 K) has been investigated with the help of a computer simulation of ion broadening taking full account of radiator motion. The anisotropy in Stark broadening for a moving radiator is found to be negligible under these conditions, but Stark profiles depend markedly on the radiator speed. The final line profile (including Stark and Doppler broadening) is nearly the same as the profile obtained by convolution of the Doppler profile with the Stark profile for radiators at rest and fictitious ions with the reduced mass of the atom-ion pair.  相似文献

We propose a new method for determining the Stark broadening of atomic emission lines using laser‐induced breakdown spectroscopy. The method allows the determination of the Stark broadening in non–optically thin plasmas, through the introduction of a correction for self‐absorption. Couples of lines of the same species are considered. If one of the Stark broadenings is known, the determination of the other does not require the measurement of the electron density of the plasma. Examples are given for the application of the proposed method to the measurement of the Stark broadening of several aluminum emission lines (Al I at 308.2 nm, Al I at 394.4 nm, and Al I at 396.2 nm).  相似文献

Stark broadening theories which concentrate on the statistics of the plasma electric microfield rather than the dynamics of collisions have come to be known as Model Microfield Methods. In the present paper we present an analysis of Stark broadening problems based on Markovian model microfield statistics. Our derivation permits an easy comparison with traditional Stark broadening theories such as the impact and unified theories; this comparison is used to clarify the physical nature of the approximations employed by Markovian models. The strengths and weaknesses of various models are discussed, emphasizing the kangaroo process of Brissaud and Frisch, and methods are suggested for improving the current model microfield approach.  相似文献

Using the semiclassical perturbation approach, Stark broadening parameters for Kr II 469.4 nm, Ar II 476.5 nm, and Ar II 480.6 nm spectral lines have been determined. The obtained results have been used for the investigation of the role of the Stark broadening mechanism on the mode properties of hollow cathode excited noble gas mixture lasers. It has been found that for the He-KrII 469.4 nm laser broadening by neutral atom collisions is large enough to explain the single-mode operation of this laser, as opposed to the He-ArII 476.5 nm laser where Stark broadening also has to be taken into account to explain this property. 本文从实验上研究了不同缓冲气体(He,Ar,N2和Air)中激光Al等离子体的时间分辨发射光谱,研究了原子发射谱线的强度和Stark展宽随延时、缓冲气体性质和压力变化的规律.结果表明原子谱线的强度在3μs左右达到最大值,随着延时的增加,谱线的Stark展宽减小,而缓冲气体压力的增大导致谱线的Stark展宽增大,在实验测定的四种缓冲气体中,Ar气体中谱线的Stark展宽最大.  相似文献

On the exciton states localized at a two-dimensional stacking fault interface in a layered crystal BiI3, some nonlinear optical phenomena clearly appear reflecting large transition probability. The optical Stark shift and other high density exciton effect on the energy-shift and the spectral broadening are observed with clear separation under intense laser pumping by time-resolved measurements. The optical Stark shift is analyzed based on the dressed exciton model. The ultrafast optical response faster than 3 ps for the pump-laser field is confirmed on the Stark shift. Degenerate four-wave-mixing signals show fairly long dephasing time of 40 ps in this system. The dephasing probability depends linearly on the pump-laser intensity in the same manner as that of the spectral line-broadening reflecting the relaxation process. The dephasing mechanisms are understood by the exciton scattering at high density in parallel with the spectral changes. The blue-shift due to the high density excitons are discussed on the basis of exciton-exciton interaction in connection with a phase-space filling theory in two-dimensional systems.  相似文献

Spontaneously emitted atomic line shapes from an argon ion laser discharge have been measured with a plane parallel Fabry-Perot interferometer. The interferometer and its associated data reduction programs were carefully characterized so that Lorentzian widths on the order of 0.004 of the interferometer free spectral range could be measured. The observed line shapes were analyzed in terms of thermal Doppler broadening, Stark broadening by electrons and natural broadening. Electron densities calculated from the Stark broadening were discrepant by factors of 5–10. An alternative line-shape model, which includes a non-thermal velocity distribution function, is proposed.  相似文献

The Stark broadening of Ar I spectral lines characterized by quadratic Stark effect was investigated in a wall-stabilized argon arc plasma. Only in some cases the theoretical interruption broadening half widths according toWeisskopf-Unsöld-Lindholm agree with the experimental values, usually they are smaller up to the factor 0.44. On the other side the Stark half widths calculated by the new Griem method are higher than the experimental values, however, mostly they are in the experimental limit of error.  相似文献

An analysis is made of requirements for a general theory of Stark broadening applicable to both strong and weak collisions. It is pointed out in particular that inclusion of the static and weak interaction limits is not sufficient to obtain a generally valid theory. At least one other condition is necessary—a dynamic correction for strong, primarily static, collisions. The kangaroo process model microfield method is examined from this point of view, and it is shown that the model conditional probability leads to an incorrect functional form for the lowest order dynamic correction.  相似文献

The escape by diffusion of a particle from a potential well in one dimension is strongly influenced by the application of a field in the adjacent half-space. At long times the probability distribution becomes a uniformly moving and steadily broadening gaussian in this half-space. The mean time of escape from the well is given by a simple expression in terms of the mean first passage time and the coefficient of the long-time tail in the occupation probability of the well in the absence of the field. A semi-classical theory of Stark broadening is presented which differs basically from current theories. No attempt is made to improve existing approximations. An exact solution is given using a model of the actual microfield incorporating all the essential information, i.e. the probability distribution and the covariance of the fluctuating microfield. Calculations can be carried out completely without approximations and no divergences are encountered. It is shown that the correct profiles are obtained in both the high- and low-density limit. Results are presented for hydrogen and helium lines.  相似文献

实验使用两台不同的单色仪,采用光谱线型法测量了大气压氩气介质阻挡放电中的电子密度.诊断结果表明,由于不同的单色仪其仪器加宽不同,仪器加宽对总的光谱线型有较大影响.通过考虑等离子体中的各种加宽机制,采用卷积和反卷积的方法对氩原子发射谱线线型进行了分析,从整个光谱线型中分离出Stark线型,排除了仪器加宽对最终诊断结果的影响.从而最终测量了大气压氩气介质阻挡放电中的电子密度.测量得到在大气压氩气介质阻挡放电中单个放电丝存在时,电子温度为10000K时,电子密度约为3.05-3.26×1021 m-3.此方法不仅可以应用在大气压介质阻挡放电中,还可以用于测量其它大气压等离子体电子密度.  相似文献

The probability distribution of the strength of a field created by parallel dipoles arranged randomly, on average, uniformly is considered. The problem of divergence at small distances is analyzed. It is shown that, for any, including an arbitrarily small, number of dipoles ε in the cutoff sphere, the average field value is zero. In the case ε ? 1, the field distribution consists of a central part, whose half-width is of an order of the average polarization of a medium, and a very wide and structured background. An interpolation formula for the Fourier image of the field distribution applicable for arbitrary values of ε is proposed. An analogy with the theory of spectral line broadening is established. The connection with the problems of molecular optics and inhomogeneous Stark broadening of spectral lines is discussed.  相似文献

We have pointed out that coherent Raman beats (CRB) in a three-level system with inhomogeneous broadening of optical transition do not suffer from power broadening and AC Stark shift due to the probe laser field if the sublevel coherence from which the CRB are stimulated is prepared over a sufficiently wide frequency range of the inhomogeneous broadening.  相似文献

Optical emission spectroscopic studies were carried out to characterise the plasma leading to the estimation of two plasma parameters, electron density and temperature. These experiments were conducted on a 2 kJ plasma device which is equipped with squirrel cage electrode configuration enclosed in a glass vacuum chamber filled with hydrogen at a pressure of 5 mbar. Spectral emissions obtained from each flash were photographed in the region of 4000–6000 Å using one metre Czerny-Turner spectrograph cum monochromator. Detailed examination of the observed features showed that theH β andH λ lines of hydrogen showed significant broadening of the order of 35 Å FWHM which is due to Stark effect expected in high density plasmas. Further several atomic lines of Cu and Zn from the electrode material (brass) showed broadening which was due to quadratic Stark effect. A comparative study of the broadening of lines obtained in DC arc, hollow cathode and plasma focus was made. Electron density from Stark broadened hydrogen lines and quadratic Stark Coefficient C4 for the CuI and ZnI lines were evaluated. The excitation temperature was determined from the line intensity ratio method using CuI lines.  相似文献
