Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. H is said to be s-permutably embedded in G if for each prime p dividing |H|, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some s-permutable subgroup of G; H is called weakly s-permutably embedded in G if there are a subnormal subgroup T of G and an s-permutably embedded subgroup Hse of G contained in H such that G = HT and HTHse. In this paper, we continue the work of [Comm. Summary A subgroup H of a group G is said to be π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G, and H is said to be π-quasinormally embedded in G if for each prime dividing the order of H, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroups of G. We characterize p-nilpotentcy of finite groups with the assumption that some maximal subgroups, 2-maximal subgroups, minimal subgroups and 2-minimal subgroups are π-quasinormally embedded, respectively.  相似文献

Let 𝔉 be a class of groups and G a finite group. A maximal subgroup M of G is called 𝔉-abnormal provided GMG?𝔉. Let K<H be subgroup of G. Then we say that (K,H) is an 𝔉-abnormal pair of G provided K is a maximal 𝔉-abnormal subgroup of H. Let A be a subgroup of G. In the paper we work to complete the classification of Carter subgroups in finite almost simple groups. In particular, it is proved that Carter subgroups of every finite almost simple group are conjugate. Based on our previous results, together with those obtained by F. Dalla Volta, A. Lucchini, and M. Suppose that H is a subgroup of a finite group G. We call H is semipermutable in G if HK = KH for any subgroup K of G such that (|H|, |K|) = 1; H is s-semipermutable in G if HGp = GpH, for any Sylow p-subgroup Gp of G such that (|H|, p) = 1. These two concepts have been received the attention of many scholars in group theory since they were introduced by Professor Zhongmu Chen in 1987. In recent decades, there are a lot of papers published via the application of these concepts. Here we summarize the results in this area and gives some thoughts in the research process.  相似文献
