The main results of this paper are in two directions. First, the family of finite local Frobenius non-chain rings of length 4 (hence of nilpotency index 3) is determined. As a by-product all finite local Frobenius non-chain rings with p4 elements, (p a prime) are given. Second, the number and structure of γ-constacyclic codes over finite local Frobenius non-chain rings with nilpotency index 3, of length relatively prime to the characteristic of the residue field of the ring, are determined.  相似文献

We define exact functors from categories of Harish–Chandra modules for certain real classical groups to finite-dimensional modules over an associated graded affine Hecke algebra with parameters. We then study some of the basic properties of these functors. In particular, we show that they map irreducible spherical representations to irreducible spherical representations and, moreover, that they preserve unitarity. In the case of split classical groups, we thus obtain a functorial inclusion of the real spherical unitary dual (with “real infinitesimal character”) into the corresponding p-adic spherical unitary dual.  相似文献

Duals of constacyclic codes over a finite local Frobenius non-chain ring of length 4, the length of which is relatively prime to the characteristic of the residue field of the ring are determined. We discuss unitary representations of groups in Hilbert spaces of functions given together with reproducing kernels, and in particular irreducibility. Our main focus is on examples, including spherical representations of orthogonal groups, distance-transitive finite graphs, irreducibility of induced representations, the discrete series of SL(2, ), and some representations of PGL(2, p).The appendix contains examples involving groups acting on rooted trees.  相似文献

We classify controlled blocks, introduced by Alperin and Broué in 1979 for all quasisimple groups G for odd primes. The results imply that every nilpotent block of G has abelian defect groups, which in turn is one of the main results proved in An and Eaton (2011) [6]. We also give an explicit characterization of non-controlled blocks of all quasisimple groups G for odd primes. This implies the block theoretic analogue of Glauberman?s ZJ-theorem for G proved by Kessar, Linckelmann and Robinson (2002) [18].  相似文献

We study a family of small unitary representations of indefinite orthogonal groups. These representations arise as analytic continuations of the discrete series and were studied extensively by Knapp in [K3]. We complete Knapp's analysis by proving that they are irreducible. In order to do so we prove that the representations are unipotent and have irreducible associated cycles in which all multiplicities are exactly one. Moreover, we prove that the K-type structure of each representation matches (up to a shift) the K-type structure of the ring of functions on the closure a nilpotent orbit on .  相似文献

In this paper, we construct explicit eigenfunctions of the local Weil representation on unitary groups of one variable in the -adic case when is odd. The idea is to use the lattice model, and the results will be used to compute special values of certain Hecke -functions in separate papers. We also recover Moen's results on when a local theta lifting from to itself does not vanish.

Local models are certain schemes, defined in terms of linear-algebraic moduli problems, which give étale-local neighborhoods of integral models of certain p-adic PEL Shimura varieties defined by Rapoport and Zink. When the group defining the Shimura variety ramifies at p, the local models (and hence the Shimura models) as originally defined can fail to be flat, and it becomes desirable to modify their definition so as to obtain a flat scheme. In the case of unitary similitude groups whose localizations at Qp are ramified, quasi-split GUn, Pappas and Rapoport have added new conditions, the so-called wedge and spin conditions, to the moduli problem defining the original local models and conjectured that their new local models are flat. We prove a preliminary form of their conjecture, namely that their new models are topologically flat, in the case n is odd.  相似文献

I present several applications of the Dirac inequality to the determination of isolated unitary representations and associated “spectral gaps” in the case of unramified principal series. The method works particularly well in order to attach irreducible unitary representations to the large nilpotent orbits (e.g., regular, subregular) in the Langlands dual complex Lie algebra. The results could be viewed as a p-adic analogue of Salamanca-Riba’s classification of irreducible unitary (g,K)-modules with strongly regular infinitesimal character.  相似文献
