提出并演示了一种光泵预选态的原子光谱测量方法,并对Ba原子的6s5d3 D态与6p5d3 F态的超精细结构及该跃迁的同位素移动进行了直接测量。首先利用791nm的激光激发Ba原子特定同位素及特定超精细结构的6s6s 1 S0→6s6p3 P1跃迁,并利用6s6p3 P1→6s5d3 D2的自发辐射有选择地分别将这些同位素制备到6s5d3 D2态不同的超精细能级上,再用778nm的激光扫出对应的6s5d3 D2→6p5d3 F2跃迁的荧光光谱,通过这几组光谱之间的对比直接实现了对22条超精细谱线的认定和归属,从而得到了135 Ba和137 Ba的6s5d3 D2能级与6p5d3 F2能级的超精细结构常数及该跃迁的同位素移动。  相似文献

The output of a mode-locked femtosecond laser is used for precision single-photon spectroscopy of 133Cs in an atomic beam. By changing the laser's repetition rate, the cesium D1 (6s 2S(1/2)-->6p 2P(1/2)) and D2 (6s 2S(1/2)-->6p 2P(3/2)) transitions are detected and the optical frequencies are measured with accuracy similar to that obtained with a cw laser. Control of the femtosecond laser repetition rate by use of the atomic fluorescence is also implemented, thus realizing a simple cesium optical clock.  相似文献

We present what is to our knowledge the first longitudinal coherence measurement of a transient inversion collisional x-ray laser. We investigated the picosecond output of a Ni-like Pd x-ray laser at 14.68 nm generated by the COMET laser facility at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Interference fringes were generated with a Michelson interferometer setup in which a thin multilayer membrane was used as a beam splitter. We determined the longitudinal coherence for the 4d1S0 --> 4p1P1 lasing transition to be approximately 400 microm (1/e half-width) by changing the length of one interferometer arm and measuring the resultant variation in fringe visibility. The inferred gain-narrowed linewidth of approximately 0.29 pm is a factor of 4 less than previously measured in quasi-steady-state x-ray laser schemes.  相似文献

Separated field excitation of a calcium atomic beam using four traveling laser fields represents two distinct atom interferometers utilizing the internal degrees of freedom of the atoms. Phase shifts between the atomic partial waves have been realized by phase shifts of the laser wave fields, by the ac-Stark shift, and by rotation of the interferometer (Sagnac effect). One particular interferometer can be selected by interaction of the atomic waves with extra laser fields. We furthermore report on the preparation of a laser cooled and deflected calcium atomic beam that can be utilized to largely increase the sensitivity of the interferometer.  相似文献

 介绍了13.9 nm马赫贞德干涉仪用软X射线分束镜的设计、制备与性能检测。基于分束镜反射率和透过率乘积最大的评价标准,设计了13.9 nm软X射线激光干涉实验用多层膜分束镜。采用磁控溅射方法在有效面积为10 mm×10 mm、厚度为100 nm的Si3N4基底上镀制了Mo/Si多层膜,制成了多层膜分束镜。利用X射线掠入射衍射的方法测量了Mo/Si多层膜的周期。用扩束He-Ne激光束进行的投影成像方法定性分析了分束镜的面形精度,利用光学轮廓仪完成了分束镜面形精确测量。利用北京同步辐射装置测量了分束镜反射率和透射率,在13.9 nm处,分束镜反射率和透过率乘积达4%。使用多层膜分束镜构建了软X射线马赫贞德干涉仪,并应用于13.9 nm软X射线激光干涉实验中,获得了清晰的含有C8H8等离子体电子密度信息的动态干涉条纹。  相似文献

In this paper it will be shown that an atom interferometer, based on the coherent splitting of the atomic wavefunction by four travelling waves (Ramsey interferometer), may be explained by a purely mechanical interpretation. As our first application of this Ramsey interferometer we have measured the phase shifts respectively optical length changes in a magnesium atomic beam caused by the acceleration of the partial atomic wave in one arm of the interferometer. This acceleration was achieved by the dipole force exerted by an off-resonant crossing laser beam which interacted with the ground state part of the wavefunction only. Further applications of this interferometer and improvements due to laser cooling will be discussed.  相似文献

采用双水电极介质阻挡放电装置,测量了大气介质阻挡放电的光谱,并研究了加入少量氩气后光谱的变化。在300~800 nm波长范围内,发现了氮分子(C3Πu(v′=0)→B3Πg(v″=0~4))的光谱和氮原子(4d4D7/2→3p4P01/2)的光谱。在大气中加入少量氩气后,击穿电压明显降低,在相同电压条件下,氮分子光谱线和氮原子光谱线强度都增强。同时,加入氩气后上述谱线的半宽度明显加大。由于谱线的Stark加宽与电子密度成正比, 说明加入氩气后等离子体的电子密度增大, 使得电子碰撞激发氮分子及氮原子的概率增大,激发到较高激发态的氮原子或氮分子增多,从而使光谱强度增强。  相似文献

Over a two-year duration, we have compared the frequency of the 199Hg+ 5d(10)6s (2)S(1/2)(F=0)<-->5d(9)6s(2) (2)D(5/2)(F=2) electric-quadrupole transition at 282 nm with the frequency of the ground-state hyperfine splitting in neutral 133Cs. These measurements show that any fractional time variation of the ratio nu(Cs)/nu(Hg) between the two frequencies is smaller than +/-7 x 10(-15) yr(-1) (1sigma uncertainty). According to recent atomic structure calculations, this sets an upper limit to a possible fractional time variation of g(Cs)(m(e)/m(p))alpha(6.0) at the same level.  相似文献

为了精确地描述激光外差干涉在快速超精密测量中的位移测量.建立了激光外差干涉快速超精密测量模型。传统外差干涉测量模型采用舍去高阶误差的方法,便于分析与快速计算,但存快速纳米精度测量中,高阶误差已经影响到测量精度.根据多普勒频移公式,通过分析激光外差干涉的测量原理.在已有的激光干涉测量模型上增加了u^2/c的积分项.相当于将传统测量模型进行了高阶误差补偿。通过理论分析可知,当最高测量速度为1m/s,运行位移为3m时,该测量模型能够减小约18nm的测量误差,解决了传统测量模型存存的残余误差累计问题,从而为激光外差干涉在快速超精密测量领域的应用提供了一种理论依据。  相似文献

采用共焦法布里珀罗腔(CFP)作为桥梁,可以实现不在原子、分子跃迁线附近的单频激光器相对于原子、分子跃迁线的锁定,从而可以有效地抑制激光频率的漂移。在实验中通过射频频率调制光谱技术结合饱和吸收光谱(SAS)将自制852nm光栅外腔反馈半导体激光器锁定到铯6S1/2Fg=4-6P3/2Fe=4、5交叉线上,通过Pound-Drever-Hall(PDH)射频边带技术将作为桥梁的共焦法布里珀罗腔锁定在852nm激光频率上。再通过PDH方法将830nm和908nm两台远离铯原子D2线的外腔半导体激光器同时锁定在作为桥梁的共焦法布里珀罗腔上,实现了830nm和908nm两台激光器相对于铯原子跃迁线的锁定。由锁定后的误差信号估算,20s内852nm激光器相对于铯原子Fg=4-Fe=4、5交叉线的频率起伏小于±540kHz,830nm、908nm激光器相对于共焦法布里珀罗腔的频率起伏分别小于±340kHz和±60kHz,共焦法布里珀罗腔相对于852nm激光的频率起伏小于±550kHz。  相似文献

The photoionization of seeded carbon bisulfide molecular beam by a 1064\,nm nanosecond Nd-YAG laser with intensities varying from $0.8\times10^{11}$ to $5.6\times10^{11}$\,W/cm$^{2}$ have been studied by time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Multiply charged ions of S$^{q + }$ ($q$ = 2--6) and C$^{q +}$ ($q$ = 2--4) with kinetic energy of hundreds of electron volts have been observed, and there are strong experimental evidences indicating that those multicharged ions originate from the ionization of CS$_{2}$ neat clusters in the beam. An electron recolliding ionization model is proposed to explain the appearance of those multiply charged atomic ions under such low laser intensities.  相似文献

We report the experimental realization of an optical trap that localizes single Cs atoms ?215 nm from the surface of a dielectric nanofiber. By operating at magic wavelengths for pairs of counterpropagating red- and blue-detuned trapping beams, differential scalar light shifts are eliminated, and vector shifts are suppressed by ≈250. We thereby measure an absorption linewidth Γ/2π=5.7±0.1 MHz for the Cs 6S_{1/2}, F=4→6P_{3/2}, F^{'}=5 transition, where Γ_{0}/2π=5.2 MHz in free space. An optical depth d?66 is observed, corresponding to an optical depth per atom d_{1}?0.08. These advances provide an important capability for the implementation of functional quantum optical networks and precision atomic spectroscopy near dielectric surfaces.  相似文献

We have measured the 1S-2S transition frequency in atomic hydrogen via two-photon spectroscopy on a 5.8 K atomic beam. We obtain f(1S-2S) = 2,466,061,413,187,035 (10) Hz for the hyperfine centroid, in agreement with, but 3.3 times better than the previous result [M. Fischer et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 230802 (2004)]. The improvement to a fractional frequency uncertainty of 4.2 × 10(-15) arises mainly from an improved stability of the spectroscopy laser, and a better determination of the main systematic uncertainties, namely, the second order Doppler and ac and dc Stark shifts. The probe laser frequency was phase coherently linked to the mobile cesium fountain clock FOM via a frequency comb.  相似文献

脉冲激光烧蚀金属平面铝靶产生的热原子与气相CF4碰撞反应中,在400—600nm之间观测到激发态C2分子的发光光谱,它们可归属为Swan带的d3Πg-a3Πu跃迁中Δv=2,1,0,-1,-2五个振动序列(v'≤6).光谱强度分析表明,C2激发态的振动温度达6340K左右.与激光烧蚀Al+O2反应生成AlO的实验结果以及激光烧蚀Cu+CF4的光谱比较,对比Al(2P1/2-2S1/2,3944nm)和C2的d—a跃迁(0—0)带带头(5165nm)的飞行时间轮廓,认为激发态的Al(2S1/2)原子通过 关键词: 激光烧蚀 发光光谱 C2分子  相似文献

A new technique for maintaining high contrast in an atom interferometer is used to measure large de Broglie wave phase shifts. Dependence of an interaction induced phase on the atoms' velocity is compensated by applying an engineered counterphase. The counterphase is equivalent to a rotation, is precisely determined by a frequency, and can be used to measure phase shifts due to interactions of unknown strength. Phase shifts of 150 rad (5 times larger than previously possible) have now been measured in an atom beam interferometer, and we suggest that this technique can enable comparisons of atomic polarizability with precision of one part in 10,000.  相似文献

X-ray interference microscopy diagnostics of a nanosecond-pulse pumped Al (Z=13) plasma are presented. A transient picosecond Ni-like Ag X-ray laser (13.9 nm) is used as the probe beam and a wavefront division bi-mirror interferometer is adopted as the diagnosis tool. From the fringe shifts, the two-dimensional plasma density profile at 1 ns after the peak of the heating pulse is deduced. Opposite fringe shifts during the plasma development are observed and possible explanations for this behavior are discussed. This study will contribute to the validation of 1D and 2D hydrodynamic codes as well as to the better understanding of the physics during the development of laser produced plasmas. 本实验通过饱和吸收方法获得了铷原子5S_(1/2)→5 P_(3/2)单光子跃迁光谱,并进一步研究了铷原子5S_(1/2)→5 P_(3/2)→5 D_(5/2)的双光子跃迁光谱。使用780nm的控制光和776nm的信号光反向共线作用到铷泡中,通过探测6 P_(3/2)→5S_(1/2)自发辐射产生的420nm蓝光信号得到铷原子5S_(1/2)→5 P_(3/2)→5 D_(5/2)双光子跃迁光谱,利用法布里-珀罗干涉仪测量了~(87)Rb和~(85)Rb的5 D_(5/2)激发态超精细能级,详细研究了铷泡温度和776nm信号光功率对~(87)Rb 5S_(1/2)(F=2)→5 D_(5/2)双光子跃迁光谱的影响。该研究工作为基于原子分子精密光谱测量提供了实验基础。  相似文献

在室温下的原子气室中, 基于铯原子6S1/2-6P3/2-7S1/2(852.3 nm+1469.9 nm) 阶梯型能级系统, 利用电光调制器的主频和±1级边带分别产生的三套双共振吸收光谱, 当驱动电光调制器的信号源频率严格等于7S1/2态超精细分裂的能级间隔时, 三套谱线中的一些超精细跃迁谱线重叠且线宽最窄, 利用这一现象很好地避免了激光器频率扫描时非线性效应的影响, 测量出了7S1/2 态超精细分裂能级间隔: 2183.72 MHz±0.23 MHz, 并计算出该态的磁偶极超精细常数: Ahfs= 545.93 m MHz±0.06 MHz, 与文献中报道的测量结果一致.  相似文献

In-source resonant ionization laser spectroscopy of the even-A polonium isotopes (192-210,216,218)Po has been performed using the 6p(3)7s (5)S(2) to 6p(3)7p (5)P(2) (λ=843.38 nm) transition in the polonium atom (Po-I) at the CERN ISOLDE facility. The comparison of the measured isotope shifts in (200-210)Po with a previous data set allows us to test for the first time recent large-scale atomic calculations that are essential to extract the changes in the mean-square charge radius of the atomic nucleus. When going to lighter masses, a surprisingly large and early departure from sphericity is observed, which is only partly reproduced by beyond mean field calculations.  相似文献

计算电容是复现电学阻抗单位的基准装置, 利用计算电容值和量子霍尔电阻值可以准确计算出精细结构常数α. 计算电容的本质是通过高准确度地测量屏蔽电极的位移, 实现对电容量值的测量. 因此, 基于Fabry-Perot干涉仪的精密电极位移测量系统是计算电容装置中最为核心和关键的部分. 在Fabry-Perot干涉仪测位移过程中, 由于高斯激光束存在轴向Gouy相位, 该附加相位将会引起相邻干涉条纹对应位移的变化(大于或者小于λ/2), 导致位移的测量值与实际值存在偏差. 本文阐述了高斯激光场的传播特性, 利用高斯激光束在自由空间和透过薄透镜复振幅的变换关系, 建立了计算电容装置中Fabry-Perot干涉仪透射光束的传输模型; 通过对不同腔长的Fabry-Perot干涉仪透射光场相位的分析, 获得了高斯激光束轴向Gouy相位修正与传输距离的关系. 结果表明, 当腔长从111.3 mm移动至316.3 mm时, 在接收距离为560 mm的情况下, 高斯光束轴向Gouy 相位引起的位移修正的绝对值最小为0.7 nm, 其相对相位修正量|δL|/|ΔL| = 3.4×10-9.  相似文献
