A simple colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescent anion sensor 1, 3,6-dichloro-1,8-dinitrocarbazole, was rationally designed and synthesized on basis of the mechanism of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). In DMSO solutions of 1, the presence of AcO, F and H2PO4 gave birth to the formation of a 2:1 host-to-guest complex, which was synchronously accompanied by a ‘naked-eye’ color change from light yellow to purple, a red-shift of the absorption spectrum and a blue-shift of the emission spectrum.  相似文献

Quinolin-8-ol p-[10′,15′,20′-triphenyl-5′-porphyrinyl]benzoate (1) was synthesized for the first time and developed as a ratiometric fluorescent chemosensor for recognition of Hg2+ ions in aqueous ethanol with high selectivity. The 1–Hg2+ complexation quenches the fluorescence of porphyrin at 646 nm and induces a new fluorescent enhancement at 603 nm. The fluorescent response of 1 towards Hg2+ seems to be caused by the binding of Hg2+ ion with the quinoline moiety, which was confirmed by the absorption spectra and 1H NMR spectrum. The fluorescence response fits a Hill coefficient of 1 (1.0308), indicating the formation of a 1:1 stoichiometry for the 1–Hg2+ complex. The analytical performance characteristics of the chemosensor were investigated. The sensor shows a linear response toward Hg2+ in the concentration range of 3 × 10−7 to 2 × 10−5 M with a limit of detection of 2.2 × 10−8 M. Chemosensor 1 shows excellent selectivity to Hg2+ over transition metal cations except Cu2+, which quenches the fluorescence of 1 to some extent when it exists at equal molar concentration. Moreover, the chemosensor are pH-independent in 5.0–9.0 and show excellent selectivity for Hg2+ over transition metal cations.  相似文献

4-Quinolone (4-QO) was evaluated as a simple and novel fluorescent anion sensor, and the modification of its emission color was carried out. The series of 4-QO derivatives having molecular orbitals with different energy levels was designed by substitutions at the 6 and 7 positions based on the molecular orbital calculations. All derivatives showed drastic fluorescence enhancements in the presence of F via the intramolecular charge transfer mechanism, and the successful modification of the emission color was achieved. The anion-induced emission colors of these derivatives as well as their binding affinities for F could be predicted by ab initio quantum chemical calculations, indicating that the present calculations are useful in designing new anion sensors.  相似文献

A ratiometric fluorescent chemosensor 1 was developed for the detection of Al3+ in aqueous solution based on aggregation-induced emmision (AIE). The chemosensor showed the fluorescence of its aggregated state and Al3+-chelated soluble state in the absence and in the presence of Al3+, respectively, and resulted in a fluorescence ratio (I461/I537) response to Al3+ in neutral aqueous solution at a detection limit as low as 0.29 μmol L−1. The method was also highly selective to Al3+ over other physiological relevant metal ions investigated in this study. Taking advantage of its AIE characteristics, the chemosensor was successfully applied on test papers for simple and rapid detection of Al3+. Moreover, the application of 1 for the imaging of Al3+ in living cells by ratiometric fluorescence changes was also achieved.  相似文献

For the recognition and sensing of anionic analytes, comparative studies were carried out on the anion bindings of pyrophosphate, H2PO4, and dicarboxylates to the anthracene derivatives bearing two urea groups on the 1,8 and 9,10-positions as fluorescent chemosensors for anions. Their binding properties were compared using fluorescence and 1H NMR, and the results were rationalized with an ab initio study.  相似文献

The design, synthesis, and photophysical evaluation of a new naphthalimide-based fluorescent chemosensor, N-butyl-4-[di-(2-picolyl)amino]-5-(2-picolyl)amino-1,8-naphthalimide (1), were described for the detection of Zn2+ in aqueous acetonitrile solution at pH 7.0. Probe 1 showed absorption at 451 nm and a strong fluorescence emission at 537 nm (ΦF=0.33). The capture of Zn2+ by the receptor resulted in the deprotonation of the secondary amine conjugated to 1,8-naphthalimide so that the electron-donating ability of the N atom would be greatly enhanced; thus probe 1 showed a 56 nm red-shift in absorption (507 nm) and fluorescence spectra (593 nm, ΦF=0.14), respectively, from which one could sense Zn2+ ratiometrically and colorimetrically. The deprotonated complex, [(1-H)/Zn]+, was calculated at m/z 619.1800 and measured at m/z 618.9890. In contrast to these results, the emission of 1 was thoroughly quenched by Cu2+, Co2+, and Ni2+. The addition of other metal ions such as Li+, Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Al3+, Cd2+, Hg2+, Ag+, and Pb2+ produced a nominal change in the optical properties of 1 due to their low affinity to probe 1. This means that probe 1 has a very high fluorescent imaging selectivity to Zn2+ among metal ions.  相似文献

A new thiazole sulfonamide (TTP, 1) based Zn2+ selective intrinsic chemosensor has been synthesized and investigated. The chemosensor shows a selective fluorescence enhancement (3.0 fold) with Zn2+ over biologically relevant cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, and K+) and biologically non-relevant cations (Cd2+) in an aqueous ethanol system. It produces an increase in the quantum yield and a longer emission wavelength shift (64 nm) on Zn2+ binding with the potential of a ratiometric assay.  相似文献

A new fluorescent as well as chromogenic anion sensor, 1,8-anthradiol bis(N-phenylcarbamate) 2, was synthesized. It exhibits new selective red-shifted absorption and fluorescence bands with F and AcO, which could be attributed to the anthracene moiety directly involved in the bonding interaction with the anions.  相似文献

A novel Cu2+-specific “off-on” fluorescent chemosensor of naphthalimide modified rhodamine B (naphthalimide modified rhodamine B chemosensor, NRC) was designed and synthesized, based on the equilibrium between the spirolactam (non-fluorescence) and the ring-opened amide (fluorescence). The chemosensor NRC showed high Cu2+-selective fluorescence enhancement over commonly coexistent metal ions or anions in neutral aqueous media. The limit of detection (LOD) based on 3 × δblank/k was obtained as low as 0.18 μM of Cu2+, as well as an excellent linearity of 0.05-4.5 μM (R = 0.999), indicating the chemosensor of high sensitivity and wide quantitation range. And also the coordination mode with 1:1 stoichiometry was proposed between NRC and Cu2+. In addition, the effects of pH, co-existing metal ions and anions, and the reversibility were investigated in detail. It was also demonstrated that the NRC could be used as an excellent “off-on” fluorescent chemosensor for the measurement of Cu2+ in living cells with satisfying results, which further displayed its valuable applications in biological systems.  相似文献

A new pyrene derivative BF bearing a furan group was synthesized via a one-step reaction as a colorimetric and ratiometric chemosensor for Al3+in ethanol-H2O (9:1,v/v,pH 7.2,HEPES buffer) solution. This chemosensor could selectively recognize Al3+ in the presence of other competing ions.Low limit of detection (LOD) and high association constant revealed its superior sensitivity and binding affinity toward Al3+.Besides,the probe BF performed perfectly in a reversibility test using EDTA.The mechanism of the interaction has been confirmed by 1H NMR titration.Importantly, chemosensor BF has also been utilized to detect Al3+ on test paper strips, which showed its potential for practical applications.  相似文献

A simple and versatile ratiometric fluorescent Fe3+ detecting system, probe 1, was rationally developed based on the Fe3+-mediated deprotection of acetal reaction. Notably, this reaction was firstly employed to design fluorescent Fe3+ probe. Upon treatment with Fe3+, probe 1 showed ratiometric response, with the fluorescence spectra displaying significant red shift (up to 132 nm) and the emission ratio value (I522/I390) exhibiting approximately 2362-fold enhancement. In addition, the probe is highly sensitive (with the detection limit of 0.12 μM) and highly selective to Fe3+ over other biologically relevant metal ions. The sensing reaction product of the probe with Fe3+ was confirmed by NMR spectra and mass spectrometry. TD-DFT calculation has demonstrated that the ratiometric response of probe 1 to Fe3+ is due to the regulation of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) efficiency. Moreover, the practical utility in fluorescence detection of Fe3+ in human blood serum was also conducted, and probe 1 represents the first ratiometric fluorescent probe that can be used to monitor Fe3+ level in human blood serum. Finally, probe 1 was further employed in living cell imaging with pancreatic cancer cells, in which it displayed low cytotoxicity, satisfactory cell permeability, and selective ratiometric response to Fe3+.  相似文献

The specific detection of cysteine (Cys) over homocysteine (Hcy), glutathione (GSH) and other amino acids is of great significance for studying its biological functions as well as for the diagnosis of related diseases. Chloroacetyl group was often used as a reaction site for cysteine fluorescent probes for its sensitivity and selectivity. However, high background fluorescence and low stability are common problems encountered by such probes. Here, four chloroacetyl group based fluorescent probes (C1, C2, C3, and H4) was synthesized for a comparative study. We found that the inefficient quenching ability of chloroacetyl group turned into an advantage when connected with a ratiometric fluorophore. With the modification of chloroacetyl group, probe H4 displayed excellent ratiometric property and great selectivity for Cys, the stability was also improved. Additionally, the probe was successfully applied for quantitative detection of Cys in fetal bovine serum and real-time imaging in living HeLa cells with low toxicity.  相似文献

An ‘off-on’ fluorescence chemosensor for the selective signalling of Cr(III) has been designed exploiting the guest-induced inhibition of the photoinduced electron transfer signalling mechanism. The system shows an approximately 17-fold Cr(III)-selective chelation-enhanced fluorescence response in tetrahydrofuran and the system is highly selective against the background of environmentally and biologically relevant metal ions.  相似文献

Iron is one of the essential trace elements in the human body. It plays an important role in human biology and pathology. Deregulation of iron levels in cells is associated with disease development. In this work, we synthesized a novel near-infrared intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) based ratiometric fluorescent probe to detect Fe2+, by using naphthalimide and indole moieties as building blocks. Our work showed that the radiometric probe has excellent selectivity, sensitivity and rapid response. Moreover, we could successfully perform real-time monitoring of Fe2+ in HeLa cells and C. elegans.  相似文献
