本文报道了2-(2-吡啶)-1,3-丙二醇及其衍生物的一些新的反应,以此得到了一系列新的1,3-二取代2-(2-吡啶)丙烷和3-取代2-(2-吡啶)丙烯-1化合物,并讨论了这些化合物的光谱数据。

Ferrocene Compounds. XXVII. Synthesis and Structure of 2-(Ferrocenylmethyl)propane-1,3-diol

The title compound was obtained by reduction of diethyl (ferrocenylmethyl)malonate with lithium aluminium hydride in diethyl ether. The structure of this novel ferrocene derivative was assigned by means of elemental analysis, IR, [¹H]NMR, and [¹³C]NMR spectroscopy. The structure was also confirmed by a single crystal X-ray study. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic P2₁/a space group with unit cell dimensions: a = 9.7360(6), b = 27.040(5), c = 14.767(3) Å, = 103.835(6)°, V = 3774.8(11) ų, Z = 12. The asymmetric unit contains three crystallographically independent molecules. In the ferrocenyl moieties, the Fe–C bond distance values are in the range 2.006(5)—2.051(3) Å and C–C distances in the range 1.366(7)–1.425(4) Å. The cyclopentadienyl rings in each of the molecules are mutually twisted by about 13° from the eclipsed conformation. The hydroxyl groups are involved in the intermolecular O–H...O hydrogen bond formation with O-O distances in the range 2.686(3)–2.801(4) Å forming infinite two-dimensional network in a [0 0 1] plane. The crystal structure is additionally stabilized by C–H-O weak intermolecular hydrogen bonds.     

Kinetics and mechanism of the ruthernium(III) catalyzed oxidation of propane-1,3-diol by alkaline hexacyanoferrate(III)

The kinetics of oxidation of propane-1,3-diol by alkaline hexacyanoferrate (III) catalyzed by ruthenium trichloride has been studied spectrophotometrically. A reaction mechanism involving the formation of an intermediate complex between the substrate and the catalyst is proposed. In the rate-determining step this complex is attacked by hexacyanoferate(III) forming a free radical which is further oxidized.     

Synthesis of quinolines by iron-catalyzed reaction of anilines with propane-1,3-diol

Quinoline and its derivatives were synthesized by cyclocondensation of anilines with propane-1,3-diol in 57–96% yield in the presence of iron-containing catalysts in carbon tetrachloride.     

Preparative Synthesis and Structure of 2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propyl and 2,2-Bis(hydroxy-methyl)butyl Phosphites

Conditions were found for selective hydrolysis of bicyclic phosphites derived from 2,2-bis-(hydroxymethyl)-1-propanol and 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-1-butanol to the corresponding dihydrogen phosphites. The latter were isolated as potassium, sodium, and ammonium salts and were characterized by the ¹H, ¹³C, and ³¹P NMR spectra. The structure of the ammonium salt was proved by X-ray analysis.

1,3-Bis(triphenylphosphonium-ylidyl)cyclotetraphosphane

1,3-Bis(triphenylphosphonium-ylidyl)cyclotetraphosphines The title compounds 3a , b result from the condensation of the ylidyldichlorophosphines Ph₃PCR? PCl₂ 1a , b (R = Me, 3-Tol) with phenyl bis(trimethylsilyl)phosphine 2 . Analysis of the ³¹P-NMR spectra and the X-ray structure investigation of 3a demonstrate a folding of the four-membered ring and an all-trans orientation of the substituents.     

2,2-二(4-羟基-3,5-二硝基苯基)丙烷和2,2-二(4-羟基-3-硝基苯基)丙烷的合成

双酚A在不同的ω（HNO3)溶液中硝化可得到不同的产物。在ω（HNO3)＝22％的硝酸溶液中硝化，反应温度30℃所得产物为2，2-二(4-羟基-3-硝基苯基)丙烷，在ω（HNO3)＝63％的硝酸溶液中硝化，采用三段温度控制法(0℃-30℃-50℃)所得产物为2，2-二(4-羟基-3，5-二硝基苯基)丙烷。产物经柱色谱纯化后，其元素分析、IR，^1H NMR，^13C NMR和MS数据与结构相符。
