The existence of solutions for the system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems

In this paper, we study the system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems which includes as special cases the system of generalized vector equilibrium problems and the system of vector quasi-equilibrium problems, and establish the existence result for its solutions by means of the Kakutani–Fan–Glicksberg fixed points theorem. As special cases, we also derive the existence results for weakly Pareto–Nash equilibrium points for multiobjective generalized game problems and multiobjective game problems.     

Strictly feasible solutions and strict complementarity in multiple objective linear optimization

Recently, Luc defined a dual program for a multiple objective linear program. The dual problem is also a multiple objective linear problem and the weak duality and strong duality theorems for these primal and dual problems have been established. Here, we use these results to prove some relationships between multiple objective linear primal and dual problems. We extend the available results on single objective linear primal and dual problems to multiple objective linear primal and dual problems. Complementary slackness conditions for efficient solutions, and conditions for the existence of weakly efficient solution sets and existence of strictly primal and dual feasible points are established. We show that primal-dual (weakly) efficient solutions satisfying strictly complementary conditions exist. Furthermore, we consider Isermann’s and Kolumban’s dual problems and establish conditions for the existence of strictly primal and dual feasible points. We show the existence of primal-dual feasible points satisfying strictly complementary conditions for Isermann’s dual problem. Also, we give an alternative proof to establish necessary conditions for weakly efficient solutions of multiple objective programs, assuming the Kuhn–Tucker (KT) constraint qualification. We also provide a new condition to ensure the KT constraint qualification.     

Saddle Points Theory of Two Classes of Augmented Lagrangians and Its Applications to Generalized Semi-infinite Programming

In this paper, we develop the sufficient conditions for the existence of local and global saddle points of two classes of augmented Lagrangian functions for nonconvex optimization problem with both equality and inequality constraints, which improve the corresponding results in available papers. The main feature of our sufficient condition for the existence of global saddle points is that we do not need the uniqueness of the optimal solution. Furthermore, we show that the existence of global saddle points is a necessary and sufficient condition for the exact penalty representation in the framework of augmented Lagrangians. Based on these, we convert a class of generalized semi-infinite programming problems into standard semi-infinite programming problems via augmented Lagrangians. Equilibrium Problems with Generalized Monotone Bifunctions and Applications to Variational Inequalities

This paper attempts to generalize and unify several new results that have been obtained in the ongoing research area of existence of solutions for equilibrium problems. First, we propose sufficient conditions, which include generalized monotonicity and weak coercivity conditions, for existence of equilibrium points. As consequences, we generalize various recent theorems on the existence of such solutions. For applications, we treat some generalized variational inequalities and complementarity problems. In addition, considering penalty functions, we study the position of a selected solution by relying on the viscosity principle.     

Generic Stability and Essential Components of Generalized KKM Points and Applications

We propose the definition of T-KKM points and consider generic stability of T-KKM mappings and essential components of sets of T-KKM points. As applications, using a unified approach, we derive from these results the existence of essential components of solution sets to various optimization-related problems. We do this in two steps. First, we deduce the corresponding results for variational inclusions, which are new. Then we obtain, as consequences, the existence of essential components of solutions to other problems, which are new or include recent ones in the literature.     

Variational inclusions problems with applications to Ekeland’s variational principle,fixed point and optimization problems

In this paper, we prove the existence theorems of two types of systems of variational inclusions problem. From these existence results, we establish Ekeland’s variational principle on topological vector space, existence theorems of common fixed point, existence theorems for the semi-infinite problems, mathematical programs with fixed points and equilibrium constraints, and vector mathematical programs with variational inclusions constraints.

Under some general continuous and compact conditions, the existence problems of fiked points andd coupled fixed points for increasing operators are studied. an application, we utilize the results obtained to study the existence of solutions for differential inclusions in Banach spaces.     

On four-point boundary value problems for differential inclusions and differential equations with and without multivalued moving constraints

We deal with the problems of four boundary points conditions for both differential inclusions and differential equations with and without moving constraints. Using a very recent result we prove existence of generalized solutions for some differential inclusions and some differential equations with moving constraints. The results obtained improve the recent results obtained by Papageorgiou and Ibrahim-Gomaa. Also by means of a rather different approach based on an existence theorem due to O. N. Ricceri and B. Ricceri we prove existence results improving earlier theorems by Gupta and Marano.     

Topologically‐based characterizations of the existence of solutions of optimization‐related problems

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of optimization‐related problems, defined on general sets, are established by using topologically‐based structures, without the usual linear structure. First, we prove that the existence of solutions to a variational relation problem is equivalent to the existence of either a KKM‐structure or a connectedness structure, satisfying additionally some verifiable conditions. Then, applying these results, we obtain such full (two‐way) characterizations for the existence of invariant points, solutions of quasiequilibrium problems of the Stampacchia‐Minty type, saddle points, and Nash equilibria for noncooperative games. The main advantages of our scheme with the mentioned two structures are that full characterizations for existence are obtained in a unified way, with no convexity assumptions, and also that one has flexibility to choose a suitable structure in investigations. (This flexibility is decisive when the natural underlying structure of the given problem is scarcely employed.)     

Fixed points for discontinuous monotone operators

In this paper, we use the monotone iterative method to prove the existence of the minimal and maximal fixed points of a discontinuous strongly monotone operator on an order interval in an ordered normed linear space. As an example of the application of our results, we show the existence of extremal solutions to a class of discontinuous initial value problems.     

三点粗异宿环分支

本文研究高维系统连接三个鞍点的粗异宿环的分支问题.在一些横截性条件和非扭曲条件下,获得了Γ附近的1-异宿三点环, 1-异宿两点环、 1-同宿环和1-周期轨的存在性,唯一性和不共存性.同时给出了分支曲面和存在域.上述结果被进一步推广到连接l个鞍点的异宿环的情况,其中l≥2.     

带阻尼项的脉冲系统的周期解

本文利用变分法研究了带阻尼项的脉冲系统的周期解.采用一种新的方法,在一些条件下证明了带周期边界条件的脉冲系统存在临界点.本文不仅推广了已有的结果而且还丰富了研究脉冲系统的方法.     

Quasi-Equilibrium Problems and Fixed Point Theorems of Separately l.s.c and u.s.c Mappings

In this paper, we apply our new results on quasi-variational inequality problems to generalized quasi-equilibrium problems. Some su?cient conditions on the existence of solutions are shown. In particular, we establish several results on the existence of solutions to fixed points of separately lower and upper semicontinuous (lower and lower, upper and upper) mappings.These generalize some well-known fixed point theorems obtained by previous authors as Browder and Ky Fan, Wu, et al., etc.     

Lower and upper solutions for elliptic problems in nonsmooth domains

In this paper we prove some existence results of semilinear Dirichlet problems in nonsmooth domains in presence of lower and upper solutions well-ordered or not. We first prove existence results in an abstract setting using degree theory. We secondly apply them for domains with conical points.     

路径跟踪方法求解无界非凸区域上的不动点问题

给出了求解一类无界非凸区域上不动点问题的路径跟踪方法.在适当的条件下,给出了不动点存在性的构造性证明,从而得到了路径跟踪方法的全局收敛性结果.研究结果为计算无界非凸区域上不动点问题提供了一种全局收敛性方法.     

Nonlinear second-order equations with functional implicit impulses and nonlinear functional boundary conditions

In this paper we present existence results for solutions of nonlinear second-order boundary value problems with impulses. Our impulses are applied at p points in the interval and given implicitly by nonlinear functions of the solution. Moreover we allow functional dependence on the solution. Our existence results follow from the existence of a pair of well ordered lower and upper solutions. We generalize earlier results of Cabada and Tomec?ek, allowing more general compatible boundary conditions, impulses and φ-Laplacian equations.     

On a fixed point theorem for the product of operators

In this paper, we study the existence of fixed points for the product of nonlinear operators. This kind of fixed point theorems is necessary in consideration of quadratic differential and integral problems. We emphasize a possible extension of the applicability of obtained theorems and consequently we prove the existence of fixed points for operators acting on some function spaces that are not necessarily Banach algebras. This result can be successfully applied to many quadratic problems.     

Galerkin method for optimal control of second‐order evolution equations

This paper presents the Galerkin approximation of the optimization problem of a system governed by non‐linear second‐order evolution equation where a non‐linear operator depends on derivative of the state of the system. The control is acting on a non‐linear equation. After giving some results on the existence of optimal control we shall prove the existence of the weak and strong condensation points of a set of solutions of the approximate optimization problems. Each of these points is a solution of the initial optimization problem. Finally we shall give a simple example using the obtained results. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Existence Theorems for Equations with Noncoercive Discontinuous Operators

In a Hilbert space, we consider equations with a coercive operator equal to the sum of a linear Fredholm operator of index zero and a compact operator (generally speaking, discontinuous). By using regularization and the theory of topological degree, we establish the existence of solutions that are continuity points of the operator of the equation. We apply general results to the proof of the existence of semiregular solutions of resonance elliptic boundary-value problems with discontinuous nonlinearities.
