The compound [NH4(NH3)4][B(C6H5)4].NH3 (1) was prepared by the reaction of NaB(C(6)H(5))(4) with a proton-charged ion-exchange resin in liquid ammonia. [NH(4)(NH(3))(4)][Ca(NH(3))(7)]As(3)S(6).2NH(3) (2) and [NH4(NH3)4][Ba(NH3)8]As3S6.NH3 (3) were synthesized by reduction of As(4)S(4) with Ca and Ba in liquid ammonia. All ammoniates were characterized by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. They were found to contain the ammine-ammonium complex with the maximal possible number of coordinating ammonia molecules, the [NH4(NH3)4]+ ion. 1 contains a special dimer, the [(NH4(NH3)4)2(mu-NH3)2]2+ ion, which is formed by two[NH4(NH3)4]+ ions linked by two ammonia molecules. The H(3)N-H...N hydrogen bonds in all three compounds range from 1.82 to 2.20 A (DHA = Donor-H...Acceptor angles: 156-178 degrees). In 2 and 3, additional H(2)N-H...S bonds to the thioanions are observed, ranging between 2.49 and 3.00 A (DHA angles: 120-175 degrees). Two parallel phenyl rings of the [B(C(6)H(5))(4)](-) anion in 1 form a pi...pi hydrogen bond (C...C distance, 3.38 A; DHA angles, 82 degrees), leading to a dimeric [B(C6H5)4]2(2-) ion.  相似文献

Compounds [Rb(18-crown-6)]4As14.6NH3 (1) and [Li(NH3)4]4P14.NH3 (2) were prepared by the reaction of Rb4As6 with SbPh3 and 18-crown-6 and by the reduction of white phosphorus with elemental lithium in liquid ammonia, respectively. Both were characterized by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. They were found to contain the Ci symmetrical Pn14(4-) anion (Pn = P, As), which consists of two nortricyclane-like Pn7-cages connected by a single bond. Molecular complexes of [Rb(18-crown-6)(NH3)]2[Rb(18-crown-6)]2As14 are formed in 1, which are connected to fanfold sheets via N-H...O bonds. The anion is isolated in 2, and N-H...N bonds result in the formation of {[Li(NH3)4](mu-NH3)2[Li(NH3)4]}2+ cationic complexes.  相似文献

FT IR and FT Raman spectra of Ag3(PO2NH), (Compound 1), Na3(PO2NH)3 x H2O (Compound II), Na3(PO2NH)3 x 4H2O (Compound III), [C(NH2)3]3(PO2NH)3 x H2O (Compound IV) and (NH4)4(PO2NH)4 x 4H2O (Compound V) are recorded and analyzed on the basis of the anions, cations and water molecules present in each of them. The PO2NH- anion ring in compound I is distorted due to the influence of Ag+ cation. Wide variation in the hydrogen bond lengths in compound III is indicated by the splitting of the v2 and v3 modes of vibration of water molecules. The NH4 ion in compound V occupies lower site symmetry and exhibits hindered rotation in the lattice. The correlations between the symmetric and asymmetric stretching vibrations of P-N-P bridge and the P-N-P bond angle have also been discussed.  相似文献

The uptake of NH3 and the heterogeneous reaction of NH3 + HOBr --> products on ice surfaces at 190 K have been investigated in a flow reactor coupled with a differentially pumped quadrupole mass spectrometer. The uptake coefficient gammat for NH3 was determined to be (3.8 +/- 1.4) x 10(-4) on ice films at 189.8 K, for a partial pressure of NH3 in the range of 7.0 x 10(-7) to 3.8 x 10(-6) torr. The amount of NH3 uptake on the ice film was determined to be >2.9 x 10(15) molecules/cm(2), based on the total ice surface area at 189.2 K. The heterogeneous reaction of NH3 + HOBr on ice surfaces has been studied at 190 K. The reaction probability gammat was determined to be (5.3 +/- 2.2) x 10(-4) and was found to vary insignificantly as HOBr surface coverage changes from 2.1 x 10(13) to 2.1 x 10(14) molecules/cm(2). A reaction pathway is proposed on the basis of experimental observations.  相似文献

Hydrogen-bonded supramolecular cation assemblies of (NH4+/NH2-NH3+)(crown ether), where the crown ether is [12]crown-4, [15]crown-5, or [18]crown-6, were incorporated into electrically conducting [Ni(dmit)2] salts (dmit2- = 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolate). (NH4+)([12]crown-4)[Ni(dmit)2]3(CH3CN)2 had a pyramidal shape, while ionic channels were observed in (NH4+)(0.88)([15]crown-5)[Ni(dmit)(2)]2 and (NH4+)(0.70)([18]crown-6)[Ni(dmit)(2)]2. Both (NH4+)(0.88)([15]crown-5) and (NH4+)(0.70)([18]crown-6) contained regularly spaced [Ni(dmit)(2)] stacks formed by N-H.O hydrogen bonding between the oxygen atoms in crown ethers and the NH4+ ion. NH4+ occurred nonstoichiometrically; there were vacant ionic sites in the ionic channels. The ionic radius of NH4+ is larger than the cavity radius of [15]crown-5 and [18]crown-6. Therefore, NH4+ ions could not pass through the cavity and were distributed randomly in the ionic channels. The static disorder caused the conduction electrons to be randomly localized to the [Ni(dmit)2] stacks. Hydrazinium (NH2-NH3+) formed the supramolecular cations in (NH2-NH3+)([12]crown-4)2[Ni(dmit)2]4 and (NH2-NH3+)2([15]crown-5)3[Ni(dmit)2]6, possessing a sandwich and club-sandwich structure, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, these represent the first hydrazinium-crown ether assemblies to be identified in the solid. In the supramolecular cations, hydrogen bonding was detected between the ammonium or the amino protons of NH2-NH3+ and the oxygen atoms of crown ethers. The sandwich-type cations coexisted with the [Ni(dmit)2] dimer stacks. Although the assemblies were typically semiconducting, ferromagnetic interaction (Weiss temperature = +1 K) was detected in the case of (NH2-NH3+)2([15]crown-5)3[Ni(dmit)2]6. The (NH2-NH3+)0.8([18]crown-6)[Ni(dmit)2]2 and (NH4+)0.76([18]crown-6)[Ni(dmit)2]2 crystals were isomorphous. The large and flexible [18]crown-6 allowed for maintaining the same ionic channel structure through replacement of the NH4+ cation by NH2-NH3+.  相似文献

This paper reports the first characterization of the (NH(3))(n)NH+ cluster series produced by a 252Cf fission fragments (FF) impact onto a NH(3) ice target. The (NH(3))(n=1-6)NH+ members of this series have been analyzed theoretically and experimentally. Their ion desorption yields show an exponential dependence of the cluster population on its mass, presenting a relative higher abundance at n = 5. The results of DFT/B3LYP calculations show that two main series of ammonium clusters may be formed. Both series follow a clear pattern: each additional NH(3) group makes a new hydrogen bond with one of the hydrogen atoms of the respective {NH(3)NH}+ and {NH(2)NH(2)}+ cores. The energy analysis (i.e., D-plot and stability analysis) shows that the calculated members of the (NH(3))(n-1){NH(2)NH(2)}+ series are more stable than those of the (NH(3))(n-1){NH(3)NH}+ series. The trend on the relative stability of the members of more stable series, (NH(3))(n-1){NH(2)NH(2)}+, shows excellent agreement with the experimental distribution of cluster abundances. We analyzed the molecular orbitals for a Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) compound, which is a model of the (AlBr x NEt(3))(4) crystal structure recently reported by Schn?ckel and co-workers. We found that even though Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) contains a planar square Al(4) cluster it is not an aromatic compound. However, the addition of two sodium atoms to Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) yields a new Na(2)Al(4)Cl(4)(NH(3))(4) compound which is a pi-aromatic molecule. We hope that prediction of this new compound will facilitate a synthesis of aluminum aromatic solids.  相似文献

We report 355 and 532 nm photoelectron imaging results for H(-)(NH(3))(n) and NH(2)(-)(NH(3))(n), n = 0-5. The photoelectron spectra are consistent with the electrostatic picture of a charged solute (H(-) or NH(2)(-)) solvated by n ammonia molecules. For a given number of solvent molecules, the NH(2)(-) core anion is stabilized more strongly than H(-), yet the photoelectron angular distributions for solvated H(-) deviate more strongly from the unsolvated limit than those for solvated NH(2)(-). Hence, we conclude that solvation effects on photoelectron angular distributions are dependent on the electronic structure of the anion, i.e., the type of the initial orbital of the photodetached electron, rather than merely the strength of solvation interactions. We also find evidence of photofragmentation and autodetachment of NH(2)(-)(NH(3))(2-5), as well as autodetachment of H(-)(NH(3))(5), upon 532 nm excitation of these species.  相似文献

The gas-phase ion chemistry of BF(3)/NH(3) mixtures was investigated by the joint application of mass-spectrometric techniques and theoretical methods. The addition of BF(2)(+) to NH(3) led to the first observation of [BF(2),NH(3)](+) and [BF,NH(2)](+) ions. Diamidoboron cation B(NH(2))(2)(+) was also detected. Consistent with collisionally activated dissociation (CAD) mass spectrometric results, theoretical calculations performed at the B3LYP and CCSD(T) levels identified the F(2)B-NH(3)(+), FB-NH(2)(+), and NH(2)-B-NH(2)(+) ions as the most stable isomers on the corresponding potential energy surfaces. The F(2)B-NH(3)(+) ion represents the protonated form of aminodifluoroborane, BF(2)NH(2), and consequently behaves as a Br?nsted acid under FT-ICR conditions. The FBNH(2)(+) ion is able to add Lewis bases such as water, ammonia, and hydrazoic acid. These species, containing the BN moiety, may represent new promising projectile ions in the boron nitride deposition techniques involving high-energy ion beams.  相似文献

A new organically templated layered uranium phosphate fluoride, [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)][(UO(2))(2)F(2)(HPO(4))(2)] has been synthesized by hydrothermal reaction of UO(3), H(3)PO(4), HF, and (CH(3))(2)NCH(2)CH(2)N(CH(3))(2) at 140 degrees C. [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)][(UO(2))(2)F(2)(HPO(4))(2)] has a layered crystal structure consisting of seven-coordinated UO(5)F(2) pentagonal bipyramids and four-coordinated HPO(4) tetrahedra. Each anionic layer containing three-, four-, and six-membered rings is separated by [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)](2+) cations. The [(CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)](2+) cations may be readily exchanged with the M(2+) ions (M = Ba, Sr and Ca) in water to give high crystalline AE(UO(2))(2)(PO(4))(2).6H(2)O (AE = Ca, Sr, Ba).  相似文献

The reaction of IrH(5)(PCy(3))(2) in acetone with 2 equiv of HBF(4) results in the formation of the air-stable complex [Ir(H)(2)(PCy(3))(2)(acetone)(2)]BF(4), 1. The reaction of 1 with an excess of 2-thiazolidinethione or 2-benzothiazolethione in the presence of 2 equiv of HBF(4) gives the complexes [Ir(H)(PCy(3))(L)(4)](BF(4))(2) (2a, L = 2-thiazolidinethione; 2b, L = 2-benzothiazolethione). Complex 2a has an intramolecular NH.H(Ir).HN interaction both in the crystalline solid as determined by X-ray diffraction and in a CD(2)Cl(2) solution as determined by the T(1) method. The d(HH) were determined to be 2.2 +/- 0.1 ? in the solid state and 1.9 +/- 0.1 ? in solution. The NH.H(Ir).HN interactions and NH.F.HN hydrogen bonds which involve FBF(3)(-) form a four-member ring in a butterfly conformation. The nOe effect of the hydride on the NH proton is around 10%. A crystal of 2a is in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 11.426(3), b = 11.922(3), c = 19.734(4) ?, alpha = 87.05(1) degrees, beta = 88.23(1) degrees, gamma = 75.50(1) degrees, V = 2599(1) ?(3), and Z = 2 at T = 173 K; full-matrix least-squares refinement on F(2) was performed for 10 198 independent reflections; R[F(2)>2sigma(F(2))] = 0.0480, R(w)(F(2)) = 0.099. The formation of the NH.HIr proton-hydride interaction is as favorable as the formation of intermolecular hydrogen bonds NH.FBF(3)(-) or NH.O hydrogen bonds with OPPh(3) or H(2)O in CD(2)Cl(2). A similar NH.HIr interaction also has been observed in the complexes [Ir(H)(2)(PCy(3))(2)(L)(2)]BF(4) (3a, L = 2-thiazolidinethione; 3b, L = 2-benzothiazolethione) but not in the complexes with L = NH(2)NH(2) (3c) and L = NH(3) (3d). Both the NH and IrH protons are deuterated when a solution of 2 or 3 in C(6)D(6) is exposed to 1 atm of D(2) gas or D(2)O.  相似文献

The room-temperature syntheses and single-crystal structures of C(4)N(2)H(12).NH(4)Cl(3).H(2)O and C(6)N(2)H(14).NH(4)Cl(3) are reported. These novel molecular perovskites contain vertex-sharing octahedral (NH(4))Cl(6) arrays which replicate the octahedral packing in the cubic (SrTiO(3)) and 2-H hexagonal (BaNiO(3)) perovskite structures, respectively. The structures are completed by doubly protonated organic cations and, for the cubic phase, water molecules. The (15)N-labeled diammine(mu-oxo)ruthenium complex cis,cis-[(bpy)(2)(H(3)(15)N)Ru(III)ORu(III)((15)NH(3))(bpy)(2)](4+) ((2-(15)N)(4+)) was synthesized from cis,cis-[(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)Ru(III)ORu(III)(H(2)O)(bpy)(2)](4+) by using ((15)NH(4))(2)SO(4) and isolated as its perchlorate salt in 17% yield. A 1:1 mixture of (2-(15)N)(4+) and nonlabeled cis,cis-[(bpy)(2)(H(3)(14)N)Ru(III)ORu(III)((14)NH(3))(bpy)(2)](4+) were electrochemically oxidized in aqueous solution. The gaseous products (14)N(2) and (15)N(2) were formed in equimolar amounts with only a small amount of (14)N(15)N detected. This demonstrates that dinitrogen formation by oxidation of the diammine complex proceeds by intramolecular N---N coupling.  相似文献

Four new zinc diphosphonate compounds with formulas [NH(3)(CH(2))(2)NH(3)]Zn(hedpH(2))(2).2H(2)O, 1, [NH(3)(CH(2))(n)()NH(3)]Zn(2)(hedpH)(2).2H(2)O, (n = 4, 2; n = 5, 3; n = 6, 4) (hedp = 1-hydroxyethylidenediphosphonate) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions at 110 degrees C and in the presence of alkylenediamines NH(2)(CH(2))(n)()NH(2) (n = 2, 4, 5, 6). In compound 1, two of the phosphonate oxygens are protonated. The metal ions are bridged by the hedpH(2)(2-) groups through three of the remaining four phosphonate oxygens, forming a one-dimensional infinite chain. The protonated ethylenediamines locate between the chains in the lattice. In compounds 2-4, only one phosphonate oxygen is protonated. Compounds 2 and 3 have a similar three-dimensional open-network structure composed of [Zn(2)(hedpH)(2)](n) double chains with strong hydrogen bonding interactions between them, thus generating channels along the [100] direction. The protonated diamines and water molecules reside in the channels. Compound 4 contains two types of [Zn(2)(hedpH)(2)](n) double chains which are held together by strong hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network. The interlayer spaces are occupied by the [NH(3)(CH(2))(6)NH(3)](2+) cations and water molecules. The significant difference between structures 2-4 is also featured by the coordination geometries of the zinc atoms. The geometries of those in 2 can be described as distorted octahedral, and those in 3 as distorted square pyramidal. In 4, two independent zinc atoms are found, each with a distorted octahedral and a tetrahedral geometry, respectively.  相似文献

Ionization potentials (IPs) of [(CH(3))(2)NH](m)(NH(3))(n)-H hypervalent radical clusters produced by an ArF excimer laser photolysis of dimethylamine (DMA)-ammonia mixed clusters are determined by the photoionization threshold measurements. The IPs of the DMA(1)(NH(3))(n)-H hypervalent radicals decrease rapidly with the number of ammonia up to n=4, and then its decrease rate becomes much slower for n ≥ 5. This trend is very similar to that found for NH(4)(NH(3))(n) clusters. The calculated results on the stable structures and IP as well as the observed IP for DMA(1)(NH(3))(n)-H indicate that the hydrogen atom-localized site is the NH(3) moiety for n=1, while the doubly coordinated DMA-H is favorable for n=2-4, and then 4-fold-coordinated NH(4) is again more stable for n ≥ 5. These changes are consistent with the results on the femtosecond pump-probe experiments of DMA(n)-H clusters. Switching of the hydrogen atom-localized site is ascribed to the instability of DMA-H against a hydrogen-atom dissociation.  相似文献
